Wer Kinder hat, sollte sich von diesem Restaurant fernhalten - diese sind offensichtlich absolut nicht erwünscht. Die absolut unverschämte Kellnerin mit dem Schielauge konnte das nicht einmal freundlich kommunizieren und wurde sehr aufmüpfig. So etwas habe ich noch nicht erlebt! Dazu werden noch (gerechtfertigt) schlechte Bewertungen gelöscht...

Super tasty fish at fair prices!

A nice restaurant in the middle of Fuzo, we were there at half past three after seeing people being employed as we drove past last night. The service is very friendly, the food is very good 👍 Price performance ok. The picture shows a fish platter with eel, cod and salmon, as well as a cod fillet in an egg, both of which were very 👍

I've eaten there 5 times now and have to say that the portions are incredibly large and the pricing is really more than fair. Unfortunately there is a small flaw. The salad might need to be reworked because the dressing is too thick and only sits on top and when that's gone, the rest of the salad is left completely natural. Otherwise, always happy. Pricing for the drinks is already expensive throughout Zingst, but it's a holiday 😂 Keep it up, I'll be happy to come back!

The four of us ate at Klabautermann today and had schnitzel twice and fish twice. The food was excellent and the portions were unmanageable despite being very hungry. Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness and competence of the staff. We'll be back!

Food sounds good but unfortunately the service is not up to par. 3 adults and 2 children - the tables are not allowed to be pushed together, we were directed from the front to the back. UPS-unfortunately no space but pushing tables together is not possible. Only 2 adults wanted to eat but according to the waitress the plates were too big… Next time it would be best to say that children are not welcome. Unfriendly and definitely never again. And putting the tables together right opposite wasn't a problem and we sat right in the front area.

We visited this restaurant three times and were always treated very well. Very tasty food and friendly staff. Thanks for that and see you next time.

I thought the name said it all and ordered the “Klabautermann” fish platter with 3 types of fish. Well, cod was out but there was salmon instead. No problem if the fish wasn't that dead. The eel was terribly dry and therefore tough, salmon was recognizable and but what was the other dry part of the fish... There was also a lot of salad on the same plate, no ratio. So there will be no second visit during the week of vacation in Zingst. Too bad.

We'd love to come back. No reservation possible, but that was never a problem (even with 8 people). You will be taken to a free space.

Reservierungen wurden in diesem Lokal nicht entgegen genommen, also haben wir uns eingereiht in die Schlange der Wartenden. Dies ist eigentlich nicht mein Ding, es hat etwas von einer Massenabfertigung. Nach dem zugewiesenen Tisch, in dem etwas kitschig anmutenden Restaurant, mussten wir doch etwas länger auf unsere bestellten Gerichte warten. Mein bestellter Dorsch war sehr gut zubereitet, während das Gericht meiner Frau schon ziemlich trocken und erkaltet serviert wurde. Dies habe ich bei der Nachfrage der Servicekraft dann auch kundgetan. Wir hätten uns sofort mitteilen müssen war die Aussage lapidar. Es wäre trotzdem schön gewesen, uns etwas als Entschädigung anzubieten.

Positive: despite being busy, service was quick and the side salad was absolutely fine Negative: the parsley potatoes were from yesterday and we all know what they taste like, namely not at all. The cod in egg shells is rather dry.

This is our first time on holiday in Zingst and we have now been to Klabautermann three times. The food was always very tasty. Huge portions, whether fish or meat dishes. Service always friendly. You can sit outside very well (without reservation). We'd love to come back.

The cod was simply delicious and the potato salad with it was like Grandma's. It doesn't get any better. We say thank you and will come back soon.

By far the best restaurant in Zingst, price performance is unbeatable! We made one mistake and that was that we didn't eat there on the first day, we wouldn't have gone to any other restaurant 👍🏼👍🏼 The short wait for our seat was more than worth it.

Came here because of the good reviews. However, we were disappointed! An expensive, promising starter was ultimately quite poor and therefore completely overpriced, the food was prepared relatively carelessly and only served lukewarm. Too bad, unfortunately next time somewhere else.

We have been coming here every holiday for many, many years at least once, usually twice, the cod is simply the tastiest! Tip: Mondays with homemade potato salad - super tasty. It is not possible to reserve outside, so plan to wait in the evening with a bit of a wait. But it's worth it! The service is also top notch, super fast, helpful and attentive. In our opinion: the best restaurant in Zingst. The picture is from last year, this time we forgot the photos on both visits - the food was just gone too quickly 😃😅

If you are looking for a very good fish restaurant, this is the right place. We had the daily special (hake, sea bream and lentil curry with sweet potatoes) which was simply fantastic, the fish was grilled to perfection and super juicy 😋

Very nicely located and good area worth visiting

Dear restaurant, we had dinner here the week before last. My husband's food was great, the fish was well prepared, everything was ok... I ordered egg tarts with blueberry filling and vanilla sauce. To be honest, are you really not able to prepare two pancakes from scratch? Instead you get 2 from a prepackaged package... and you can actually taste it. Then call up almost 8 €. It was really disappointing... You should work on that.

“Arriving early ensures good (and any) seats” -> Every evening from around 5:30 p.m. there is hardly a seat left. You can't make a reservation, so bring an early dinner or patience to wait. The service is friendly (our waitress was also a bit assertive 😉). Generally quick, drinks were delivered quickly. The food was great, tasted great, very well balanced. We'll come here again in the next few days 😎

The chef knows his craft. Neither the fish nor the meat were fried "dead". Juicy and excellently seasoned. Big praise for the service. Very attentive and super friendly. Price/performance is the best I have experienced here in Zingst. We would love to come back.

We came across this restaurant by chance. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were there in the late afternoon and didn't need a reservation. But then it quickly became full. The daily offering included cod. I have never seen this in any other restaurant. The dish was awesome!!! I would like to visit again.

And I'm obviously not the only one here, as you can see from other reviews. Dear owner, I personally only gave my own experience and believe that it certainly has no influence on your overall rating. We love going out to eat and are happy to support restaurateurs with our visits - regardless of the price of the food and drinks on offer. I personally will not change my rating of the services you offer in October 2022 - Google deleted it at your request. I won't renew this, but I personally won't give you a second chance either. Nevertheless, good luck and only satisfied customers!

Nice restaurant with a nice outdoor area. We sat on the back terrace and only had to wait a short time. A waitress came up to us very quickly and took care of a table for us, including a high chair. The service was really great and quick throughout. Food: We took 2x the daily offer and 2x farmer's breakfast and a robber's plate. The portions were really very good and are really great for a holiday region in relation to the price. There is a star deduction because the two daily specials were served lukewarm. However, the service took it away straight away and we got hot food back. Everything tasted great. Overall a recommendation.

It's best to visit 15 minutes before meal times, as you have a good chance of getting a seat, the food is home-style cooking, prices are OK. Staff is still friendly, company is mixed. I was satisfied..... Thank you very much

Cozy restaurant in the middle of Zingst

I had the Hamburger Schnitzel. Very tasty and good portion, the fried potatoes were plentiful and also very tasty. Behind the house there is a nice, cozy outdoor area.

It's interesting that this place is now reporting negative reviews to Google and having them removed, citing "defamation". Our rating only coincided with other negative reviews, starting with the rude staff and the absolute lack of compromise. Even though we even waited for a free, larger table, they simply didn't want to serve us. And then to speak of “slander” when there are 8 witnesses is simply harsh language. This place doesn't seem to need any customers...c'est la vie...there are plenty of other good places in the area that treat their customers well and have good food

We ate there on July 30, 2024. Unfortunately. The food is already pre-prepared. Pancakes (egg tarts) with applesauce instead of blueberries = not possible because they are already ready. A portion of fries instead of fried potatoes = not possible, you don't have that many fries. Fried potatoes are oily, soft and lukewarm. Great. The side salad was amazing. Iceberg lettuce with some dressing. That's it. Absolute rip-off from A to Z. The entire place, local service staff and service providers are unfriendly, rude and annoyed. But the money is gladly taken. All in all, neither Zingst nor “Zum Klabautermann” are recommended.

First, the slightly disturbing thing. I was allowed to sit outside on the sidewalk with a direct view of the public toilet. The service was top, on the ball and friendly. I had Labskaus. Unfortunately, the consistency and beef were clearly missing from the mix. The rest was fine.

Friendly staff, and good food at reasonable prices. The recommendation of the day that the waitress suggested (consisting of sea bass and cod with mashed potatoes and a cucumber salad) was a very good recommendation. The only thing I can complain about is that it is difficult to get a seat outside because the restaurant is very busy.

A really cozy, rustic fish restaurant in Zingst. On both of our visits we were greeted very friendly by the staff in front of the restaurant and asked to wait a moment until a table was available for us (five people). The staff attaches great importance to cleanliness and would like to personally accompany their guests to the clean table. Unfortunately, there is also a lack of understanding among some guests here, which I cannot understand. It's an appreciation for the guest and that's exactly what we really liked. Two to four people can dine in the restaurant. Tables and comfortable benches are set up outside for two to eight people. Madeleine served us outside on both evenings (according to the receipt). All the other servers were also very careful, attentive and courteous. Thank you for that! The dishes were very attractively prepared, the portions were large and very, very tasty. At a top price-performance ratio. Dear kitchen team... There are five stars and a big thank you for the culinary delight. The potato salad was homemade and the daily special is also worth recommending. Our kids are now even bigger fans of seasoned meat, mushrooms and fish. We were happy to come to the restaurant a second time to end our last day of vacation with good food. We were happy to wait 30 minutes for a free seat. It was worth it to us. The medical facilities were also clean. We can only recommend this restaurant. If we end up in Zingst again, we will definitely dine here again. First time there was an argument with the waitress. In the end I got a recommendation from her to come and eat at 5 p.m. Was greeted again unfriendly and then rudely asked to order within ten minutes. We then preferred to leave because we had the impression that our money would not be wanted if we eat a moment later and drink something first. Mein Frau und ich hatten eine Fischplatte bestellt Als sie serviert wurde, hatten wir den Eindruck, als hätten wir Krautsalat mit Beilage- Bratkartoffeln und lieblosem Allerlei-Fisch auf den Teller bekommen!!! Der Fisch war nicht richtig gebraten, der Lachs mehr trocken als alles andere. Heute Abend sind wir 75 Meter weiter gelaufen und haben uns in der Strandkate einen Fischteller bestellt, der um Welten besser war, echt lobenswert !!! Zudem ist dort das Personal super freundlich und schnell,wir kommen wieder ,ein großes Lob ans Personal und der Küche

We wanted to go to dinner and found a table for two. After waiting and after being asked by the waiter, we were seated. The menu and drinks went quickly. The restaurant was very busy. If a table became available, it would be cleaned and then the new guests could take their seats. So we saw the hard-working, friendly waitresses and waiters in action. We got our food and it looked good and was leggy. The price was great too. We were happy to tip. The boss can be proud of his team

Impossible condition! It starts with the fact that as a guest you are no longer even greeted and the service in front of the table shouts the daily specials at you . It's simply outrageous to be treated so unkindly for the money. The order was canceled immediately and we moved on. A pity!

A pleasant restaurant that impresses with simplicity, good food and a central location in the pedestrian arcade. The indoor and outdoor spaces are very popular during the season, but they are very busy so it's worth waiting a little.

We had lunch out here this afternoon. Very responsive service. Wonderful under the awning or the parasols with a view of the action. Clean water for dogs was available. We had salmon and sea bream -> fine!

Wir haben im Restaurant persönlich gefragt, ob wir einen Tisch für sechs Personen bekommen oder reservieren können. Eine Dame sagte uns, dass keine Reservierungen möglich seien. Das konnten wir akzeptieren. Da mehrere Tische - auch für sechs bis acht Personen - frei waren, baten wir wegen des kalten Abends um einen Tisch im Restaurant. Die Antwort: "An den Tischen für sechs Personen (gegenüber der Theke!) bedienen wir nicht. Dann müssen sie sich schon auf zwei Vierer-Tische verteilen. Wir stellen keine Tische zusammen!". Wir reisen viel in ganz Deutschland. So einen Umgang mit immerhin sechs Gästen haben wir bisher allerdings nicht erlebt. Dieses Restaurant darf offensichtlich nur von bis zu vier Gästen besucht werden.

We were at Klabautermann today, June 26th. The staff is very nice and really friendly. We had 1x Hamburger schnitzel, 1x dish of the day cod fillet baked in egg and 1x 500g plaice. Both the plaice, the cod fillet and the schnitzel were super tasty, the fried potatoes were okay and the side salad was fresh and crunchy. We were more than full. My wife had a lot of trouble creating the floe. My daughter had the rest of the Hamburger Schnitzel packed up. We can really recommend this restaurant and will visit there again soon.

On the first day of our visit everything was great. Then on the second day around 5:10 p.m. a little too early for dinner (outside area) so we had to drink something first. The waitress barked a little so that we didn't get a drink. Since dinner starts in about 10 minutes. So no drinks without food. I emphasize it's a little early for me to eat. Wasn't okay. The ambience at Klabautermann is wonderful, warm and decorated with great attention to detail. The service was very nice and the food was very tasty. However, the portion was small and simply too expensive. I didn't want fried potatoes and instead wanted a baked potato, so the price was increased quite a bit. A pity. Draft beer Rostocker or Bitburger. Well, whoever likes it.

I ordered sour meat and it just included mustard. But it wasn't there. I then asked for mustard. It came later on the bill Then there was 1 euro for it. Ridiculous behavior for me. Never again

Only deducted from the B grade because the communication between the kitchen and the service staff doesn't seem to work. At one meal the side dish was fried potatoes, even though mashed celery was announced. The complaint was only commented on with a shrug of the shoulders: “he probably didn’t tell the kitchen that the potato stem was out”. Because of the price-performance ratio I still give it 4 stars. We had plaice with bacon cubes and fried potatoes as well as a small salad. The plaice was well seasoned but fried very “dead”. Unfortunately the salt sauce was very dried out. The request for a medium fried pork fillet was rejected with the words "The chef doesn't do that". The Labskaus tasted okay, but because of the lack of meat it belongs more in the vegetarian “department”.
