I found the restaurant by chance while looking for a non-touristy place to eat and was more than pleasantly surprised in the end: an ambitious, young, international, attentive and friendly service team that was also open to special requests. A diverse menu also with local dishes. My fish soup tasteful with perfectly cooked pieces of fish and especially important on an icy day: hot; then fried herrings. A unique view of the Baltic Sea, the beach and the pier.

Sehr nettes Ambiente. Der Service und das Essen sind wunderbar. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Es ist sehr erfreulich, dass man dieses nette Restaurant wieder besuchen kann. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir sind ohne Reservierung mit drei großen HUNDEN zum Abendessen gekommen. Uns wurde eine ruhige Ecke angeboten, wo wir genügend Platz hatten und die Hunde ungestört liegen konnten. Der Umgangston war durchgehend nett und anscheinend hatte das freundliche Personal hundekenntnisse, die Hunde wurden nicht bedrängt, vollgequatscht oä. Die Getränke kamen schnell und Fragen zum Essen konnten beantwortet werden. Das Essen war aus dem üblichen Rahmen, viel besser! Das Preis-Leistungsverhältniss völlig in Ordnung, die Bedienenden aufmerksam. Woher die negativen Bewertungen kommen, kann ich mir nur erklären mit: Wie man hineinruft, so schallt es zurück.

Can't complain about anything, everything's okay

We stayed at the beach hotel for 6 days, which we found highly recommended, and ate delicious food every evening in different local restaurants. On the last evening we ate in the hotel restaurant and it was a big disappointment. The spare ribs were fried to death and bone dry, the Baltic burger with an extremely fishy salmon patty was tough and barely edible. Waiting time very long. Despite a complaint, no gesture from the service. Prices were okay. We definitely recommend taking advantage of the good local restaurants during your stay and not eating in the hotel.
