A very nice inn. The waiters were very polite and attentive. We didn't have to wait long for our food. The selection is very good and the portions are generous. There was a children's menu and crayons for drawing. Highly recommended.

I went to the Zum Gießer brewery for dinner today after many years. I was greeted with "only one person." Oh well. I was really looking forward to a brewer's schnitzel. Unfortunately, it wasn't available. In fact, the menu was very limited. I ended up having a schnitzel, which tasted good. However, it looked very much like convenience food. The beer is delicious. In the future, I'll go to Pirna's city center to eat.

The food was really very good and the price was perfectly reasonable. The atmosphere was exactly what a brewery should be. The waiters were always very quick. All in all, very good. I've rarely had better experiences anywhere.

Good, traditional cuisine, interesting atmosphere. A tip: since there are many electronic cash register systems worldwide, guests might not know that the tip must be entered into the electronic device beforehand. Perhaps this information should be included on the menu: Dear guest, if you were satisfied with our service, you are welcome to inform the staff of the desired tip amount before paying.

We had lunch there as part of a group trip. We had pre-selected our meal and booked in advance, so everything went smoothly and very quickly. The pork knuckle is divine for non-Bavarians – perfectly crispy, or "resch" as they say in southern Germany. The beer selection is great and very tasty.

I'd love to give it another star. We happened to be passing by on Sunday. The inn was completely full, but we managed to snag two seats. Thank you! We were there again today. Totally booked out. But we still managed to get in. First and foremost, I want to mention the service. The team is incredibly friendly and super efficient. I have so much respect for how you manage everything. The food was delicious and served promptly despite the large number of guests. Thumbs up for that! The beer was really good – my favorite, the local beer. I hope to be back in Pirna soon.

We always enjoy going to Gießer's. There's not much more to say; the food is ALWAYS top-notch, the service is excellent, and it's very cozy. You can rely on everything being perfect here, no matter what day it is or how busy the restaurant is. We always order the pork knuckle and would recommend making a reservation.

A rustic brewery with high ceilings and therefore plenty of reverberation. Plus, you can sit in a cool space even when the weather is warm. :) From start to finish, everything from the food to the service is excellent, but it has to be said that it's rather pricey. You should definitely make a reservation, as it's always busy and larger groups also arrive by bus. So, it's a great location for a milestone birthday or confirmation, but not exactly for a first date.

Friday lunch, previously reserved for 4 people, we were politely welcomed and shown to the table but then the pleasant moments were over. Although the restaurant was not even half full, we had to wait over half an hour for our food, which was not particularly tasty. So to sum up, there is still room for improvement.

This was our first time at the brewery and we made a last-minute reservation online. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. There are numerous different beers, so there's something for everyone. The atmosphere in the brewery is great, and we felt very comfortable! Great! There's a dedicated smoking lounge on the ground floor. The staff is very friendly, and we'd love to come back!

The beer was truly excellent. The brewing was excellent, and the distillery was also very good. The goulash was tender and delicious, but unfortunately, the food was only lukewarm and not really hot. Therefore, one star deducted…

I was with colleagues and called to reserve a table, but the person told me there were no seats and that you had to book at least a day in advance (for five people). I booked online and got a table, the same day and time. It wasn't crowded at all. The manager told me, as I showed him the confirmation, that he didn't understand my reservation and wasn't in the office yet. It was a very unprofessional and inappropriate act and humor. The waiters, on the other hand, were good and professional, but the "manager" wasn't.

A very nice inn, both inside and out. The staff is very friendly, and the food and drinks are of very good quality. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable for the amount. The fact that you can buy their own beer is also great. Delicious, too. Anyone who is on holiday nearby must stop by. I will definitely do it again when I'm in the area. I would just advise everyone to please reserve a table. It's very busy, which confirms my impression of the brewery. Making a reservation is particularly easy. Simply request by email, and everything else will be sent by email, and you'll also be reminded. That's service. All I can say is "thank you," and see you soon.

There's a reason why reservations are better here. The brewery is packed. I think the reason is the excellent food. The portions are generous, and the beer is also available by the liter. The very young waitstaff does their work with enthusiasm and dedication.

Too bad the terrace was closed. When will the weather be good enough? We just wanted a beer, which was possible in the restaurant on the first floor. It was quite busy, and the food served looked good and plentiful.

Very delicious! There were 12 of us and we had a separate room where we sat together at a table. The Mayor's Room was cozy and tastefully decorated. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We all ordered different dishes from the a la carte menu. It didn't take long for our 12 meals to arrive, one after the other, so we all ate together.

At first glance from the outside, the brewery is inconspicuous, and is also quite far from Pirna's city center. The beer garden is large with many umbrellas, but is close to the street. Inside, especially on the first floor around the brew kettle, the atmosphere is wonderful thanks to the wood paneling and custom-made wooden tables. The menu is manageable, but the portions are generous, very tasty, and beautifully presented, a feast for the eyes. The beer selection is excellent, including the brewery's own beers, of course. The service is very friendly and quick, at times boyish and casual. That's how it should be; you feel at home here. The price/performance ratio is right.

There were eight of us, dining twice. Once inside due to the weather, and once outside. The service was first-class (Dominik for us), very friendly, fast, and flawless. Food as ordered, drinks as ordered, and served with friendly and humorous commentary. The food was very good, and despite eight different options, it was served almost simultaneously. Unobtrusive inquiries were made as to whether there was anything else we wanted. The ambiance was also very nice. Everything was to our complete satisfaction. We were here again yesterday and, as so often, were very impressed with the food and service. A definite recommendation. I've eaten a lot of knuckle hocks in our area, but the one at Giesser is definitely the best.

The food was incredibly delicious, and the waiters were all very friendly and quick. You never had to wait long for anything and were always asked if you needed anything else and if everything was OK.

Very friendly service, delicious food, and a great selection for children too. Highchairs are available for children, and there's also a small separate play area for the little ones. Depending on how busy the place is, the wait times are perfectly acceptable. Highly recommended.

What I particularly liked: delicious food, homemade lemonades, friendly service, a separate children's room for the little ones to play in. What I think could be improved: flexibility in meal planning, especially with regard to food intolerances. We had to ask twice about this because we wanted to swap ingredients that were listed on the menu for various dishes. The waiter initially said no (kitchen instructions, no swapping of ingredients), but then he checked with the kitchen again and was able to accommodate our requests. Thanks again for that! Unfortunately, two ingredients listed on the menu (aubergine and zucchini) were missing from our meals, but it still tasted delicious! The reservation time was limited, but understandable given such a busy restaurant, and we knew in advance. We'd be happy to come back!

We happened upon this restaurant while driving through KI and were absolutely thrilled. Everything: the food, service, and atmosphere were wonderful and outstanding! At 6 pm, they serve crispy tarte flambée.

We arrived at Brauhaus Pirna hungry on Saturday evening, as the weather wasn't suitable for opening the outdoor area. Accordingly, the indoor area was packed with visitors. A friendly employee still found two seats for us – the evening was saved! The staff there are all very friendly and well-organized, and we received our drinks and food in a relatively short time. Everything was extremely delicious, and the ambiance of this restaurant is also very nice. Good value for money. Highly recommended. Thank you again for this wonderful evening!
