I love to eat Here, O Love Pirna, I Love this Market place, the delightful Story telling Fountain, which fascinates children, and I often bewonder the two peaceful Pirna lions, high Up on the townhall, plucking pears from the singing, ringing mythical tree. I wonder If this town heraldic shield was the inspiration for the DEFA Film " Das singende, klingende Bäumchen" ?

You definitely have to reserve in advance, the shop is always busy. We were there for dinner and all had burgers. All of our burgers were (unrequested) medium fried. I had the Angusburger and it was really excellent. Plus sweet potato fries which, unlike in other restaurants, didn't cost any extra. Also very tasty. Waiters super friendly and quick. If you're in the mood for a burger, you're in good hands here!

We have been coming to you for years and have always been satisfied. The service staff has been changed for about six months, which in itself is not a problem. Unfortunately, the new staff (the ladies) are neither careful nor friendly to the guests. The eyes are rolled, even though there isn't much going on and a hand signal was given several times, people walk past you without looking and when it's your turn you are only served by force. We think that's a real shame because the food was always excellent. But under these circumstances, with this type of service, you're literally dying for it! What a shame!

Excellent burgers with a nice ambience. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The only downside was the dirty, completely unnecessary station-style condom machine in the men's toilet, which had to be paid for in DM, and which really spoiled the beautiful toilet. I'll save everyone a corresponding photo at this point.

Nice restaurant, friendly and fast service, delicious food. We sat outside in the lovely spring weather and had vegetables in a tempura batter (a bit greasy) and crumble. The city beer on tap is also very tasty.

A lunch of burgers and fries outside on the market square. There's nothing to complain about, except that the burger was too big to bite into and that we had to share the outside table with strangers (you don't politely refuse when other guests ask nicely).

We were super satisfied. After our camellia tour (flowers 🤭) in the castle house, we were warmly welcomed in the restaurant. My mom and I fished for a nice spot outside right by the market. The staff, whether male or female, were super friendly, had a smile on their faces and were always ready to say something good. The nasty fries and the white wine are super delicious!!!! It's nice to sit there for a little longer. Thank you very much!

Eine tolle Entdeckung für uns mit 2 Jungs. Es stimmt im PLATZHIRSCH alles: zuvorkommender und sehr freundlicher Service, ausgesprochen ansprechendes Ambiente (hätte ich für ein Burgerlokal so nicht erwartet), üppige und richtig leckere Bürger, regionale Zutaten. Die einfache Dessertbestellung von 2 Kugeln Eis (sehr lecker, aus einer Dresdner Manufaktur) avanciert durch Sahnehäubchen und kreativer Deko zum Minieisbecher. Wir bedanken uns für dieses schöne Erlebnis und kommen sehr gern wieder.

A friendly team welcomed us into a tasteful atmosphere. We were served really good food and dishes that were lovingly prepared with attention to detail. A good place to stop.

Top dog...what a name. Every man would have to kneel. The beer is really great, the “little things” with the food are perfect. Service as you would expect...quick, friendly and accommodating. Even just a spontaneous drink?...if possible, a reserved table will be released for one hour. Thank you very much for that. We'll be back.

Wonderful regional cuisine of the best quality for a great meat experience! Plus the best sweet potato fries! Delicious lemonades, lots of fantastic desserts and our meal for 4 people was ready very quickly.

If you like good burgers, this is the place for you. The autumn special, the autumn burger, is a successful creation for people who like to try something new. There are also very tasty classics and other interesting creations. The Tezelburger convinced my son and the Fat Cow was also very well received. The various craft beers from Pirna are also very tasty and you have to try them. The service was friendly, quick and attentive. We had a great evening. Thank you.

One thing in advance: getting a seat in a restaurant in Pirna spontaneously is really not easy. It's best if you reserve in advance!!! Now to the restaurant itself: And really liked it. The burgers were simply great and the lemonade (orange-ginger) was also great. We had “the thing”, the Angus burger and a Tetzel burger 🍔. Very tasty 🤤, gladly again!!!

Very nice atmosphere, but the waitress noticed that we wanted to go to KaffeeEule first and since it was closed, we went over. The reception was so unfriendly that we immediately got up and left!

We stopped by here because we heard they had gluten-free buns. The servers were very knowledgeable and helpful about cross-contamination. My son who has celiac was very satisfied with his burger, and could even eat the lavender creme brulee! The regular burgers were also delicious. The only word of caution to GF guests would be to request straws made of paper for their drinks. They accidentally gave my son a straw made of pasta, which was ironic and kind of comical.

Yesterday we went to the Platzhirsch Pirna for coffee. The ambience (sat outside at the market) was good and the service was okay. Our hot drinks arrived at the table about 10 minutes before the accompanying cake/crumble. We had carrot cake (okay) and apple crumble (good but tiny portion for over €8). The biggest disappointment, however, were the two hot chocolates. Watery and practically no cocoa/chocolate flavor and just a tiny bit of milk foam on top. All in all, I wouldn't go to Platzhirsch again to drink coffee. The burgers and other dishes on the menu sounded good, but we didn't try them.

This time I had a delicious yeast dumpling, but the burgers are also very good, as are the homemade lemonades. Very nicely decorated and if you want to come at peak times I would recommend a reservation as it can get very busy at times.

Last night we spontaneously went to eat at the Platzhirsch in Pirna and got the last free table, which was lucky. The store is visually really cool. We ordered beer from their own brewery and ordered 2 burgers. Absolutely delicious burgers and the fries were really tasty. Cool team on site, keep it up.

Service was great, ambience was okay too (I recommend making a reservation in advance if you don't want to sit outside in the cold at this time of year). Burgers in and of themselves are pretty good, but I've definitely eaten better ones. The burger buns aren't that great and the burger meat was way too cooked.

I just love this place. It always tastes really good and the value for money is great. The only negative thing was that the waitress didn't really understand us because she only spoke broken German.

The top dog lives up to its name and defends its good place in the tourist center of the city. The menu mainly includes burgers, fries and salads. The portions were really good and everything tasted delicious. So price performance is okay. The service was quick and friendly. Tip!

The service was friendly but completely lackluster. The restaurant was only half full but we waited forever until we received the menu and drinks. The food was good but not exceptional. After eating, after almost half an hour, we asked for the dishes to be cleared away because of the wasps. We waited exactly that long for the bill. 4 burgers, two sweet potato fries, 1x chicken wings and 6 drinks - I found 140 euros expensive. So all in all disappointing. But maybe we just had a bad day.

The food, service and everything else is great. Flexible when it came to ordering, there were pens for the children to paint with and there was even room for 7 people at short notice. That's how it should be! And as far as the negative linguistic reviews are concerned, the complainers should come to Berlin. Sometimes you can only order in English, so everything is great here too. We'd love to come back!

Der Name ist hier leider eher von Selbstüberschätzung als Können geprägt: eine Servicekraft, die ein Schildchen "Auszubildende" trägt, wirbt um Verständnis, falls es noch hakt bei der Professionalität. Wenn diese Pwrson allerdings so große Sprachbarrieren hat, dass quasi nichts richtig verstanden wird, sollte die Geschäftsleitung das Konzept überdenken - statt "Urweisse" alkoholfreies Weizen und dann als Entschuldigung "ich bin neu"... na ja, geht besser, wenn man PLATZHIRSCH sein möchte
