Very tasty food and all in all very good! The star deduction is for the price-performance ratio. I think the prices for a burger are a bit high, but quality has its price these days.

If you like good burgers, this is the place for you. The autumn special, the autumn burger, is a successful creation for people who like to try something new. There are also very tasty classics and other interesting creations. The Tezelburger convinced my son and the Fat Cow was also very well received. The various craft beers from Pirna are also very tasty and you have to try them. The service was friendly, quick and attentive. We had a great evening. Thank you.

One thing in advance: getting a seat in a restaurant in Pirna spontaneously is really not easy. It's best if you reserve in advance!!! Now to the restaurant itself: And really liked it. The burgers were simply great and the lemonade (orange-ginger) was also great. We had “the thing”, the Angus burger and a Tetzel burger 🍔. Very tasty 🤤, gladly again!!!

Very nice atmosphere, but the waitress noticed that we wanted to go to KaffeeEule first and since it was closed, we went over. The reception was so unfriendly that we immediately got up and left!

We stopped by here because we heard they had gluten-free buns. The servers were very knowledgeable and helpful about cross-contamination. My son who has celiac was very satisfied with his burger, and could even eat the lavender creme brulee! The regular burgers were also delicious. The only word of caution to GF guests would be to request straws made of paper for their drinks. They accidentally gave my son a straw made of pasta, which was ironic and kind of comical.

Yesterday we went to the Platzhirsch Pirna for coffee. The ambience (sat outside at the market) was good and the service was okay. Our hot drinks arrived at the table about 10 minutes before the accompanying cake/crumble. We had carrot cake (okay) and apple crumble (good but tiny portion for over €8). The biggest disappointment, however, were the two hot chocolates. Watery and practically no cocoa/chocolate flavor and just a tiny bit of milk foam on top. All in all, I wouldn't go to Platzhirsch again to drink coffee. The burgers and other dishes on the menu sounded good, but we didn't try them.

This time I had a delicious yeast dumpling, but the burgers are also very good, as are the homemade lemonades. Very nicely decorated and if you want to come at peak times I would recommend a reservation as it can get very busy at times.

Last night we spontaneously went to eat at the Platzhirsch in Pirna and got the last free table, which was lucky. The store is visually really cool. We ordered beer from their own brewery and ordered 2 burgers. Absolutely delicious burgers and the fries were really tasty. Cool team on site, keep it up.

Service was great, ambience was okay too (I recommend making a reservation in advance if you don't want to sit outside in the cold at this time of year). Burgers in and of themselves are pretty good, but I've definitely eaten better ones. The burger buns aren't that great and the burger meat was way too cooked.

I just love this place. It always tastes really good and the value for money is great. The only negative thing was that the waitress didn't really understand us because she only spoke broken German.

The top dog lives up to its name and defends its good place in the tourist center of the city. The menu mainly includes burgers, fries and salads. The portions were really good and everything tasted delicious. So price performance is okay. The service was quick and friendly. Tip!

The service was friendly but completely lackluster. The restaurant was only half full but we waited forever until we received the menu and drinks. The food was good but not exceptional. After eating, after almost half an hour, we asked for the dishes to be cleared away because of the wasps. We waited exactly that long for the bill. 4 burgers, two sweet potato fries, 1x chicken wings and 6 drinks - I found 140 euros expensive. So all in all disappointing. But maybe we just had a bad day.

The food, service and everything else is great. Flexible when it came to ordering, there were pens for the children to paint with and there was even room for 7 people at short notice. That's how it should be! And as far as the negative linguistic reviews are concerned, the complainers should come to Berlin. Sometimes you can only order in English, so everything is great here too. We'd love to come back!

Der Name ist hier leider eher von Selbstüberschätzung als Können geprägt: eine Servicekraft, die ein Schildchen "Auszubildende" trägt, wirbt um Verständnis, falls es noch hakt bei der Professionalität. Wenn diese Pwrson allerdings so große Sprachbarrieren hat, dass quasi nichts richtig verstanden wird, sollte die Geschäftsleitung das Konzept überdenken - statt "Urweisse" alkoholfreies Weizen und dann als Entschuldigung "ich bin neu"... na ja, geht besser, wenn man PLATZHIRSCH sein möchte

When I go on a bike tour to Pirna, lunch at Platzhirsch has become a tradition. The food is super tasty (not just the burgers, but also the excellently prepared salads), the ambience at the market is also great and the service is always quick, relaxed and friendly. Unreserved recommendation 🌞🌞🌞

When the weather is good you can sit outside very nicely, but you should watch out for the flying animals, they are stubborn. The menu can be accessed using a QR code, but there is also a hand menu, which also includes an insert for seasonal dishes. I liked the burger; the meat was tasty and the ingredients seemed fresh.

Super nice waiters and gluten-free food is available upon request. Very nicely located and cozy.

We wanted delicious food and drink on a warm summer evening (July 20th) and are now more disappointed than thrilled. The waiter was nice, but extremely overwhelmed and inattentive. Free tables were not allocated because they would have to be prepared for breakfast (7.30 p.m.?). There were reserved signs on other tables, but no one came for almost 2 hours. 🤷‍♂️ We then sat down on a bench and were supposed to get the next free table on the terrace. Somehow this was forgotten again and we were greeted again as if we had just arrived? 🤔 A little tip for the waiter: if you come back from smoking with an e-cigarette and then pet a dog, you should at least wash your hands and not continue serving. Food was ok, but nothing more. Given the prices, I would have liked that the patty wasn't fried until it was completely dry and I still don't quite understand why the liquid cheddar is poured over the burger when it's cold. All in all, disappointing and not worth visiting again for years to come.

Went to the top dog today and ordered burgers. My choice was the Erlpeter. Drinks and appetizers were quickly brought to the table. Up until then everything was great. Then my burger came and it also looked very tasty and actually tasted great, but I quickly noticed that the patty was still very raw (which is absolutely not my cup of tea and I don't want to eat it that way either.) Please have the patty It was quickly accomplished by frying (or so I thought) because when the burger came back the meat was unchanged. Then I ate the burger without meat. With this approach, such a store is not worth a second visit.

Delicious food at reasonable prices and in large portions - in my case a delicious burger. Service was top notch - both attentive and very friendly and helpful.

In terms of taste, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The burgers and house-made drinks completely convinced us. Unfortunately, I had to give deductions for the atmosphere, as it is without a doubt a very popular meeting place, which is usually fully booked. As a result, the volume on site is correspondingly high. Unfortunately, it is often impossible to get a table here without a reservation. Despite all this, you are compensated by the good food, which definitely makes a visit worth it.

We were here in Pirna for a few days and visited several restaurants. We really enjoyed the burgers here and the staff was very friendly. Since it was raining a bit, we were indoors. Nice atmosphere. When the weather is nice you can sit outside, certainly nice too.

Friday evening 9:43 p.m., there are no more drinks and no more service. What can I say. 👎🏻 There were four of us and we were pretty disappointed.

Vegan burgers, awesome fries and lots of greens - all of very good quality. And then sooo friendly and humorous employees. An all-round successful visit to the restaurant.

The two of us sat outside with a small child. Of course there was also a children's chair. Very friendly staff, great selection of food and we enjoyed it too. Gladly again.

Four of us went out for burgers on a Tuesday afternoon. It was very nice to sit outside. Our order was taken very quickly and we didn't have to wait long for drinks or food. The various burgers were super delicious, the fries were just right. Both waitresses were super nice and attentive. Be sure to try it, it's also delicious. So all in all I definitely recommend it!

Regular since day 1! 😊 Although we now have a drive of almost an hour, we are happy to accept this to be a guest at the top dog. The food comes from regional partners, everything is freshly prepared to perfection and lovingly presented. The food doesn't always taste the same, which is great for me because you can tell that everything is homemade here. As burger lovers, we have already visited a few restaurants but no burger has ever come close to the burgers from the top dog Pirna. Every employee is super friendly, courteous and offers the best customer service. Everything is just right here! 😇 The restaurant is right on the Pirna market and is always very busy. The burger tasted very good. However, I wish the patty was a little juicier and softer. I also prefer large burgers to tall ones because the latter are difficult to eat. Fries (potato and sweet potato) are great.

Brilliant, the Angus burger was one of the best I've eaten so far in my life. Great food, great service, decent toilets, good music, nothing was missing. Completely satisfied!

I wanted to order a beer shortly before closing time, but was turned away quite annoyedly on the grounds that the tap system had already been cleaned. I just can't cope with such a service mentality.

Not far from the Czech border, a restaurant with Czech cuisine and of course Czech beer is a must. Dark beer and the appropriate sauce for roasting, dumplings and the smell alone makes your mouth water. The service was very friendly and quick. There was nothing to complain about at the market in Pirna. Always happy!

Very good burger. Despite the high number of visitors, served quickly on Friday evenings. Only the minced patty was a bit too firm and too “done”. However, everything tasted extremely good. Especially the homemade sauces. Particular emphasis is placed on regional ingredients. You can feel it - the origin of the ingredients is explained on the menu.
