Zum Erdinger in Bad Zwischenahn

The four of us wanted to go out to eat there. Two of us had to recharge our bike batteries there so that everyone could ride back with E. The woman at the counter didn't want to invest about 50 cents, so we didn't eat there. Very rude and incompetent!!! Unbelievable, we were really upset👎

Good Bavarian-inspired restaurant

Nice Bavarian beer restaurant. The dirndel is quite friendly, the lederhosen are a bit grumpy but also dignified, walking should be practiced again.

The schnitzels are simply super delicious and the fries are super crispy. A nice Russ and the day ends well ;-) keep it up

Yesterday I had a knuckle with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. Knuckle very good. Cabbage should have been cooked longer. The puree came out of the bag. I thought that didn't exist anymore. Was taught better. Next time pure pork knuckle.

Yesterday I wanted to go with my wife and our dog like every time (about 3 to 4 times a year) when we are in Bad Zwischenahn for dinner. It was always our first stop, good food, nice waiter who may have been free yesterday. There was never a problem if we used a corner table on the left or right side. Yesterday we were supposed to use the only 2-person table in the completely empty room where the dog couldn't lie under it. The dog would be lying in the middle of the path as a tripping hazard. We were very rudely refused a table change. So we quickly left the restaurant and ate somewhere else. If prices rise, at least the friendliness should be maintained.

As always, we had a delicious meal and had a lovely evening.

I had a spontaneous meal there yesterday and had the “big schnitzel”. This comes with wavy fries and salad. The salad arrived 2 minutes after ordering, and the schnitzel with fries arrived after 5 minutes. Everything was super tasty, the price was also great, including the large wheat and nightcap. Service friendly and service great. I'd love to come back.

We have rarely experienced such unfriendly and unmotivated staff. The large tables upstairs were reserved and there was no sign on the others! But we were told that there was nothing available and that we could leave again. When we asked politely, we were given a table in the lower area. Our drinks came relatively quickly, but the friendliness of the waiters left a lot to be desired. The food tasted good, but the portions are debatable. When we wanted to order another drink, we were ignored for a while and only reluctantly did anyone come. It's a shame, we really wanted a nice meal to end the day and would definitely have stayed longer... However, given the expressions on the waiters' faces, we preferred to have a drink somewhere else. Conclusion: We won't visit this location again for the time being.

The pork knuckle with red cabbage was great.

Typical Bavarian rustic gastronomy with very fast food!! It takes time really not long and really tasty!! Small deduction: the waiter doesn't make the best impression: seems annoyed, hardly a smile and not enthusiastic.

Unfortunately, we (my husband and I + our dachshund) were turned away by the waitress when we sat down at a free table outside. The extremely unfriendly waitress came out and put a "reserved" sign on the table. When we asked if there was a place available for two people, we were rudely told that everything was reserved! We were there at 7:00 p.m. and several tables inside and outside were free. They don't seem to need it, according to the motto "Customer threatens to order"... ☹️

Were there on August 18, 2024 and wanted to have dinner. There were 4 tables free in the indoor area and 6 tables free in the outdoor area without a reservation. When we sat down at a table, the staff very rudely asked us to leave because everything was supposedly reserved. There was just no sign anywhere on the tables. We hope for future guests that the food is better than the staff.

We were there for dinner on a leisurely afternoon. Service good, speed from ordering to serving very good. The taste is great, we recommend the knuckle goulash

Stopped in for lunch today, very unfriendly staff and the schnitzels were very over salted. We don't have to do this again.

Unpleasant operating staff! We were looking for a place to eat today. 1. unfriendly rude reception 2. older lady walked over the short path where there was a flower pot and stepped over it, (not knocked over) waitress immediately came running and hissed at the lady that it was forbidden to climb over it, she could hurt herself. 3. After we sat, the 2 year old played with the salt. (the father was just about to take it away anyway, too late) Another waiter ran over and the child was practically shouted at not to play with the salt! So we got up and left! If this runs under Erdinger Weissbräu Munich, there will be a complaint there! Gastronomy is not possible and treating children like that, even if he is right, is not possible at all! I don't know about the food, the neighbor (Greek) was happy about €180 for the 5 people! Absolutely zero recommendation! Ps: A passer-by said as he walked past “they don’t like dark-skinned people!” If this is true, please close the shop!

Very cozy Bavarian restaurant. The decor is cozy. The service is good, you are served quickly and the food comes very quickly. The portions are large and you can barely manage them.

Als regelmässiger Besucher Bad Zwischenahns kehren wir gern ins Erdinger ein, bisweilen auch nur auf eine Halbe und ein paar Brez'n. Die Speiseauswahl ist sehr ordentlich, die Küche verlässlich gut und der Service freundlich und effizient. Seit mehr als zehn Jahren kommen wir mehrfach im Jahr und freuen uns bereits auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

Great food, great ambience, host and landlady extremely friendly

A Bavarian-rustic restaurant in Bad Zwischenahn - we wanted to try it out and we didn't regret it! First of all, the portions of all dishes are mega large and very inexpensive. A "small" (but actually not small) schnitzel with French fries and salad for 11.90 euros, where else can you get that? And the schnitzel was great, tender, well seasoned, great breaded. Simply good. We also had the bride's plate with Obazda and sausage salad, along with bread and a warm pretzel. Absolutely plentiful and very tasty for only 15.90 euros. The service was attentive and friendly. I recommend the restaurant especially for people with a lot of hunger and appetite!

It's been a long time since I've had such a delicious knuckle! Fried potatoes nice and crispy, as I requested, and sauerkraut different but good! Staff very friendly, food and drinks arrived quickly!

Super tasty, portions are very large. I had schnitzel. It was very tender. You can choose whether you want a small or large schnitzel. You can even choose which sauces you like. There is also a very tasty, fresh salad plate. My husband had fried potatoes with fried eggs and lots of salad. It's also nice that you can sit outside in a sheltered place. We left full and very satisfied after eating. Very dear thanks.

Once and never again the service is more than just unfriendly, you get the feeling that foreign guests are not welcome. You can't say anything good about the food, ready-made fried potatoes from the bag! Schnitzel is a real disaster because a frozen schnitzel from Lidl tastes a thousand times better.

Had dinner there 2 days ago. Unfortunately we were besieged by green flies. It was so bad that the flies also settled on the food. Simply disgusting.

When asked whether there was salad with the schnitzel, the answer was: "The asparagus is enough salad." We were also literally told not to order our drinks individually. However, with 13 people and correspondingly different drinks, it was not possible for us to empty everyone's glasses at the same time. The food was great and the portions were generous. But hospitality looks different to me.

It's a shame that I can only give one star. We were in the restaurant at 8 p.m. According to the website, the restaurant doesn't close until 9 p.m. Funny, the kitchen was already closed. My question is, does the boss know about this? Or does he no longer need it? Conclusion, not recommended. Very unfortunate.

We wanted to go out for something to eat at Erdinger at around 7:30 p.m. There were still a few tables available, but the information was that everything was reserved. This was the third time this had happened to us. Last time it was said that a club would come soon. Then, like today, we ended up in Magou opposite. We drove past again on the way home. And lo and behold, not a club in sight. This means that Erdinger will be removed from our list of locations. Actually 0 stars!

When Cologne residents go out for Bavarian food in the Far North.🥰

Letztes Jahr war ich mit meiner Frau schon einmal hier. Ich hatte die Haxe aus dem Ofen und war so begeistert (alleine schon die Kruste ist ne wucht), dass ich in diesem Jahr zum Wiederholungstäter wurde und war absolut zu frieden. Auch das Haxengulasch und die Schnitzel Wiener Art waren sehr gut und lecker. Die Bedienenden sind freundlich, aufmerksam und für'n "Spruch" zu haben oder wie der Berliner sagt, "sie habe die Schnauze am rechten Fleck". Zu den Motzkommentaren lässt sich nur eines schreiben: Wer mit dem Essen unzufrieden ist, sollte es gleich sagen, denn dann hat der andere die Möglichkeit, dies zu korrigieren. Sich hinter Kommentaren zu verstecken ist einfach nur feige! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder vorbei.

Delicious pork knuckle (eisbein), with fried potatoes (bartkartffofeln), cabbage (sauerkraut). It is enough for two people with a price of around €17.90.

Very tasty food and we didn't finish it, so we politely asked if it would be possible to take the rest with us. We were politely told it was definitely possible. Superladen Superservice will definitely come back Price-performance ratio you really can't complain Super delicious food

We have been here many times because it is simply good! Good home cooking at moderate prices. Nice and friendly service and quick service. There is a cozy interior area and a typical beer garden atmosphere outside. My advice: The Glacier Schnitzel, the Leberkäse. But the other dishes also taste very good 😉.

Unfortunately, the staff is extremely unfriendly... here you are greeted with the words... knuckle, dumplings and knuckle goulash etc. are no longer available... when we asked if we could sit inside, they said in a snippy tone, "Oh, cold Do you also do ..." so service and hospitality is definitely different!!! It should be mentioned that inside was almost empty... we were definitely there for the first and last time... I can't say anything about the food... but there wouldn't have been much left...

Das Essen (Haxe,Püree, Sauerkraut) hatte eine ausserordentliche Qualität. Da ich nur eine Hand benutzen konnte, wurde der Knochen von der Küche ausgelöst und appetitlich aufgelegt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Nur zu empfehlen.

Im Herzen von Bad Zwischenahn ist es ein gemütliches Lokal/Restaurant...Sehr nette und sympathische Besitzer...sehr großzügige Essensportionen werden serviert (jeder wird satt) Man fühlt sich wohl👍

Essen war so wie erwartet. AMBIENTE täuscht auf dem ersten Blick. Da helfen auch keine Lichterketten.Nur 2 Servicekräfte im Lokal und Biergarten. Ich hoffe, dass Ihre Arbeitskleidung mehrfach vorhanden ist.

Gute deutsche Küche, ausreichende Portionen. Auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen!

Dieser Laden ist sowas von runtergewirtschaftet. Das Personal und (wahrscheinlich) auch die Chefin sind dermaßen lustlos und ausgebrannt unterwegs, dass sie eigentlich den Laden aufgeben sollten. Das Essen kam in Windeseile, neue Gäste wurden patzig behandelt. Das macht doch keinen Spaß. Bei der Abrechnung ist nur Bar oder EC möglich. Auf meinen Hinweis, dass das ja ziemlich rückständig sei, keine Kreditkarten zu akzeptieren, fühlte sich der Kellner gleich persönlich angefasst. "Sie wollen doch nicht tausende von Euro für das Angebot der Kreditkartenzahlung berappen". Aha, habe mir meinen Teil dann gedacht. Dann sind wir nach einem Aufenthalt von ca. 45Min. incl. Essen und Getränke gegangen. Haben sogar Trinkgeld gegeben. Auf ein Dankeschön wartet man hier aber vergebens. Einmal und nie wieder. Obwohl das Essen in Ordnung war, diese Atmosphäre ist echt ätzend. Bei allem Verständnis für die Situation nach Corona, aber wenn man nicht mehr kann, sollte man aufhören. Viele andere Restaurants können es doch auch, sogar erheblich besser.

Auf der Suche nach leckerem, gutbürgerlichem Essen das mal nicht "ammerländisch" ist entschieden wir uns für den Erdinger. Und wir waren sehr, sehr angetan. Von Obatzder mit Bretzel bis Haxe mit Knödel alles super. Das Bier sowieso. Es war gemütlich und die Bedienung blieb ruhig und freundlich auch bei meega Andrang :-). Hat Spaß gemacht. Preislich voll okay.

Beste Schnitzel in Norddeutschland. Ich fahre regelmäßig hin zum essen.

Am 9.06.2023 gegen 19:30 Uhr wollten meine Frau und wieder „bayrisch“ essen. Vor einem Jahr waren wir das letzte Mal in dieser Location und es hatte uns sehr gefallen. Im Vorgarten waren noch etliche Tische frei und wir setzten uns. Der Kellner kam sogleich und wir wollten trinken und baten um die Speisekarte. Barsch kam die Antwort das es nichts mehr aus der Küche gebe. Der Chef wäre seit 8 Uhr im Dienst und jetzt ist Feierabend. Der Hinweis das auf der Straße 2 große Hinweisschilder auf Abendessen sei (Matjes + Spargel) ignorierte der Kellner mit dem uns unverständlichen Hinweis das wir nicht reserviert haben…. Zu unserem Hinweis das es sich dann wohl um ein Lockvogelangebot handele und der Gast letztlich nur etwas trinken möge entgegnete er …… wir sollten doch woanders hingehen. Zum Hinweis auf mögliche Kritiken kam die Antwort das ihm das egal sei. An der Rezeption unseres Hotels hörten wir, dass dieses Lokal immer durch ähnliche „Aktionen“ auffalle.

Ich finde sie machen die besten Schnitzel dort. Und der Spargel ist dort ein Traum.

Schnelle und freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen war perfekt. Typisch bayrisch deftige Küche.

Anfang Mai besuchten wir dieses Restaurant und wurde sehr freundlich empfangen. Mir persönlich gefällt die "lockere" Mundart, was nicht jedermanns Sache ist. Nachdem wir zeitnah die gut temperierten Getränke erhielten, bestellten wir wenig später das Essen. Es gab Käseknöpfle, die sehr lecker waren und das Schnitzel Diabolo extra scharf, dass mit selbstgemachter scharfer Sauce bestimmt der Renner gewesen wäre, so war es nach meinem Geschmack nur mittelmäßig, denn scharf ist halt nicht gleich scharf. Wir wagten dennoch einen weiteren Versuch und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir wurden erneut freundlich empfangen und die Getränke waren gut temperiert. Wir bestellten das kleine Schnitzel mit Champignons und den Bayernteller. Unsere Erwartungen wurden voll und ganz erfüllten. Superlecker.

Waren heute das erste Mal dort essen,waren sehr zufrieden lecker gegessen freundliches Personal Komme gerne wieder. Eine Anregung Zum bayrischen lokal wäre schön eine andere Musik Evtl.volksmusik.

Schönes Restaurant, mit viel Platz innen und Außen. Leckeres Essen, reichhaltige Auswahl, gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Nettes Personal. Immer wieder gerne hier. 👍
