But it is already very old. My schnitzel with lukewarm potato salad was very simple. However, the pork knuckle looked very good on other plates. But I don't have to have it again.

Yesterday was the monthly fire brigade get-together again! As always, everything was great: friendly, attentive service, great breakfast and everything was great! An authentic, old restaurant without excessive decorative frills and we would never count every single chip on the plate! We always feel comfortable here and will be back soon! We entered the inconspicuous restaurant and were greeted very friendly. Subtle and pleasant great music. The waiters are courteous and offer the best service without fanfare. I'm happy that something like this still exists. The Wiener Schnitzel was very tasty, as were the fries.

Quality and price are right. Very tasty, especially the breakfast is recommended. Service top. Only the toilets are a bit rustic, but clean.

Personal freundlich, Essen grandios. Blutwurst Zubereitung fantastisch, Die Kohlrouladen in Specksoße einfach irre. Schnitzel egal welcher Art sind einwandfrei. Wer deutsche Küche mag, wird den alten Krug lieben.

My colleagues and I were there for the third. Eating Advent. The food was OK though The waiter wasn't particularly attentive. The candles on the table weren't lit...the bills were completely messed up The table doesn't exactly have a special view (the toilet door on one side and the other looking directly at the open kitchen door and trash can). It's a shame. I used to enjoy going there...but that's changed now

We were there for the family Christmas reunion. Which worked out great thanks to timely reservations and orders for goose breast or leg. The wine recommendation was perfect. The service staff is very attentive and lightens the atmosphere with little funny sayings. Change requests were implemented. There was enough space at the table for 6 tall people to sit comfortably, eat and chat. For me the food was perfect! Short waiting times are normal in a busy restaurant. There is always a greeting from the kitchen, this time to match the main course - delicious!

If you love German food, this is the place for you. The last bastion in the area. Unfortunately, this is hardly possible without prior registration.

In my opinion, home cooking and novel cuisine don't really go together. Old school would be better with potatoes and vegetable side dishes. Staff very friendly, location historic. Veal schnitzel was great. Gladly again.

This restaurant is worth a visit. Good German cuisine prepared by someone who has learned his craft. The service makes a great effort, but sometimes reaches its limits. However, the ladies and gentlemen are always very nice and apologize if there were delays or if the greeting from the kitchen that the neighboring table received did not arrive. We'll be back.

Was a guest again, unfortunately missed the freshly whipped hollandaise.... Instead I ate 2x Königsberger meatballs at its best and the homemade coleslaw. Next time again the delicious roulade with savoy cabbage. Unfortunately this time it was already eaten because it was so delicious…. But delivered well by the nice young man. We'll be back and that's not a threat...

I was there for the first time. As the name suggests, it's a bit old-fashioned, a small country-like world, but it's very cozy inside. I wouldn't want to sit outside because the car traffic ruins this idyll. The food was delicious and the service was incredibly friendly. There is a delicious breakfast and lunch there. But you should call in advance and order a table, as almost all tables were reserved. I hope you have fun, it's worth it and the prices are also moderate. Bon appetit

Spent a few days in Berlin and the restaurant was near my AirBnB so I decided to give it a try. Place is lovely and cosy and the food was hearty and delicious, so as the beer. Too bad the menu didn't have an english part but the staff was really friendly and helpful. Wouldn't mind going back there if I go back to Berlin !

We went there with friends and ate VERY well. The kitchen is simply recommended. Despite being busy, the service was friendly, polite and humorous. Unfortunately it's not that common these days

Various breakfast foods from sweet to savory (waffles/scrambled eggs/sausage/cheese/fruit/salmon) so everything you could want for breakfast is offered here. A real Viennese schnitzel, delicious and hot to the last bite and a Kaiserschmarren that also deserves the word Kaiser. In addition, there are 2 very attentive waitresses who round off the whole evening with unobtrusive but top-notch service. I'll be happy to come back, even if the fries cost 1.50 more instead of potato salad, which I don't fully understand but it's ok.

A trip to Alt-Rudow is worth it. We didn't expect such an appealing menu and the super friendly, perfect service. We actually chose the restaurant because it was close to an appointment. The pleasant surprise was all the greater. Compliments to the kitchen, you'll be happy to come back. In any case, we have already recommended the Alten Krug Rudow several times.

Wir wollten mit Oma und Opa einfach in einem gut bürgerlichen Gasthaus etwas essen. Die Karte ist vielversprechend und da ist für jeden etwas dabei. Preise sind ok. Aber für die Größe der Portion dann doch ein klein wenig zu teuer. Wollte aber Bratkartoffeln statt Butterkartoffeln. War nicht möglich aufgrund irgendeiner Umstellung in der Küche? Meine Oma bestellte Schnitzel und wurde gefragt, ob sie es mit Pommes oder Bratkartoffeln haben möchte. Ich war sprachlos. Am Ende bestellten wir Cappuccino und Espresso. Dennoch wurden uns alle Nachtische aufgelistet, obwohl wir schon dankend ablehnten. Aber mich freut es für Rudow, dass sie ein nettes Gasthaus im Ortskern haben!

In the “Zum Alten Krug” you will find good German home cooking. The food is freshly prepared and you can taste it.

Why should I describe something here? - I was a guest here twice with small groups and the stay was warm on the part of the service staff, the various dishes were to everyone's complete satisfaction, i.e. without any complaints. 5 🌟 are fully justified and a recommendation is out of the question. Everything is fine, book a table now!! Sorry for visitors with disabilities, I didn't pay attention to whether it's barrier-free or not, calling will definitely help!

Das Essen war gut, Bandnudeln mit Pfifferlingen ein Kalbsschnitzel aber nicht mit lauwarmen Kartoffelsalat sondern dafür mit Bratkartoffeln, die natürlich extra berechnet wurden. Preis war angemessen aber die Speisekarte doch eher aus dem vorigen Jahrhundert. Nur ein Klemmbrett mit ca. 20 Seiten ohne Abbildungen zum Durchblättern. Einfach furchtbar 😱 Sollte man mal dran Arbeiten

We were here for the first and last time. Roast pork with napkin dumplings and sweet sauerkraut almost ruined my day. The dumplings looked like dead toasted slices of bread and that's how they tasted. Meat was hard and dry...The sauce was quite good, as was the service

Cheese breakfast and jug breakfast very tasty and filling. Really very good value for money. For monument protection reasons, no ramp is allowed at the entrance, but the 2 small steps can be managed with a walker and wheelchair. There are no obstacles in the beer garden in front of it.

It doesn't get any BETTER. From the registration of the urn ceremony to the course of it. The food and the cake were all great. Friendly staff. SOOOOOO PROFESSIONALS work!!!
