Although we showed up on Friday evening without a reservation and the landlord was expecting a larger, closed party, we were not turned away but were served very friendly and were served two delicious, traditional dishes. We were more than full and happy. Thank you for this and such hospitality. We would love to come back.

The grilled food was very tasty and juicy. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. The location is also super cozy and everything seems very familiar.

We have just been stranded in Weimar as a group of 9 people to see the city. With so much sightseeing during the day, you obviously need a delicious dinner to finish it off successfully. So we looked for a restaurant around our hotel, the A&O Hostel, and found it at Lindeneck. We had reserved a table just to be on the safe side. Approx. 5 minutes walk. A very nicely decorated, cozy restaurant awaited us. We received a very nice and warm welcome and immediately felt at home. The waiter is fun for everyone and very attentive. We never ran dry. The food was super tasty. Even though there is “only” the small winter menu until the end of March, everyone found what they were looking for. The ingredients were very fresh and the price/performance ratio is perfect. The Creme Brulee rounded off the evening - definitely recommended! The chef himself also came to our table and had a short chat. A very pleasant atmosphere for a casual meal.

Friendly service! The meal was a feast as it was of course freshly prepared. The potatoes with my mustard egg stake had the perfect crust and the chef is a true expert when it comes to flavor. This was also evident in the homemade chocolate dessert. This restaurant completely satisfies the customer!

We went to Lindeneck for lunch as a family on the 3rd of Advent. Duck breast, duck leg and pork goulash with dumplings were very tasty. All of our wishes were taken into account. The atmosphere is inviting. We'd love to come back.

Honestly, if we hadn't had a Christmas party there, I would never have ended up there. But what can I say, I was absolutely pleasantly surprised. Yes, the ambiance isn't cutting-edge anymore, but you can see that they're gradually investing in new furniture here and there. And most importantly, the food is truly delicious and I can highly recommend it. No matter which plate I looked at, everything looked absolutely delicious.

By chance we became aware that Old Herrmann had found a successor. The test visit surprised us positively. The taste and presentation of the dishes have nothing in common with a garden restaurant but are actually common in good restaurants. Chapeau to the young innkeepers; We'll be back and have taken a list of events with us.

The food, a dream! We were in Lindeneck for the first time today and were more than positively surprised. Excellent food at reasonable prices. The landlord is very friendly and communicative, always attentive and on the ball. A CLEAR RECOMMENDATION!

If you want to go out for a delicious meal, you definitely have to stop by here...they still cook their own food here and service is very important...an absolute must to eat here Had the best chanterelle spaghetti I've ever eaten and an absolutely gorgeous tonka bean parfait

Five of us came from the A&O Hotel looking for delicious dinner. The waiter and chef welcomed us very friendly. Our daughter was given pens and a coloring book and even children's cutlery. Everything was really thought of and the waiter also had time for a nice chat. The food was very tasty. A plate of tagliatelle, pesto, parmesan and cocktail tomatoes for €11, which was really good value for money. The others in my group were also very happy with beef fillet. The dessert was also very tasty. We wish you continued success! 🍀 We didn't make a reservation, but since the store seems to be doing well, we would recommend making a reservation or making a reservation yourself next time.

We spontaneously got a table for a large group. Very friendly staff. Delicious, home-style food. Special requests were addressed without any problems. Vegetarian is no problem either.

We actually wanted to go out to eat today because we became aware of it through the internet and the sign. Unfortunately everything was closed. You could really save yourself the information signs so as not to annoy other guests.

Very disapointed! Arrival at 8:45 p.m. Not accepted with my children. Closing the kitchen? Private party? Nothing is indicated either on their site or at the entrance or on Google because closing time was indicated at 11 p.m. The atmosphere seemed nice in the beer garden, why this refusal because there were a lot of people? Tables were available inside.

Für ein Gartenlokal ist das Speiseangebot wirklich super und es schmeckt auch noch richtig gut. Die Preise sind moderat.

Eine urige Kneipe mit Außensitzplätzen in gemütlichem Ambiente etwas versteckt bei den Schrebergärten. Auf unser Essen mussten wir etwas warten, immer ein gutes Zeichen. Unsere Schnitzel wurden ganz frisch zubereitet und waren super lecker. Der Wirt freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wer gerne Hausmannskost mag, sollte sich in Weimar nach außerhalb bewegen und diesen Ort besuchen.

Essen für die schlechte Qualität zu teuer. Getränke überteuert für eine Schrebergarten Wirtschaft. Allgemein ungemütlich

Haben heute hier zu Abend gegessen. Das Essen war sehr gut,hübsch angerichtet und super im Geschmack. Der Wirt Hermann und seine Frau waren unglaublich gastfreundlich. Wir werden ganz sicher wieder dort einkehren.
