Super freundliche Service und das Essen schmeckt super

Was für ein wunderbarer Besuch. Wir haben uns hier direkt wohlgefühlt und wurden von einer richtig gemütlichen Atmosphäre empfangen. Das Essen kam dampfend und absolut frisch an den Tisch. Besonders das Fladenbrot im Körbchen war ein Highlight und hat perfekt zu den verschiedenen Saucen und dem Curry gepasst. Man schmeckt einfach, dass hier mit Liebe gearbeitet wird. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Der Geschmack, den man sonst nur in Nordindien findet. Mein absolutes Lieblingsessen.

Wir gehen seit Jahren hier gern essen. Das Ambiente ist toll, das Personal immer nett und das Essen sehr lecker. Die Vorsuppen muss man probiert haben und in der reichlich bestückten Speisekarte findet man immer was. Sehr zu empfehlen.😋😊

Haben 3 Fleischgerichte von der Mittagskarte bestellt. Leider ist das Mittagsmenü eher zur einer Vorspeise geworden, denn in den 3 Portionen waren auch jeweils 3 Stückchen Lamm. Und wenn noch die Mehrwertsteuer von 19 auf 7 gesenkt worden ist, kommt man sich insgesamt ein bisschen verschaukelt vor. Werden uns wohl einen neuen Inder suchen müssen. Sehr schade.

Ein sehr freundlicher Empfang, man wird zu seinem Tisch gebracht. Man wird sehr zügig bedient. Das Essen ist nach der Bestellung, auch bei vollem Restaurant schnell da. Es schmeckt sehr gut und ich war danach pappsatt. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und es ist auch gemütlich. gerne wieder.

Super Essen und schnelle Bedienung Wir waren zu dritt essen und wurden bei der Bestellung sehr gut beraten, wie scharf die Gerichte sind. Der Reis war sehr lecker und die 77, 120 & 121 auch! 😋 Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ich hatte 58 Chicken Tikka Tandoori und war angenehm überrascht von der hohen Qualität und des ausgefallenen Geschmacks. Das der Garvorgang am Tisch auf einer heißen Platte beendet wurde, war auch fürs Auge sehr interessant. Hier kann man mit allen Sinnen genießen. Empfehlung! 😋

Teuer, nicht besonders lecker und wenig. Der Kellner spricht kein Deutsch, es gab Schwierigkeiten. Im Lokal konnte man kaum atmen, mir wurde schlecht wegen der Gewürzaromen und des Sauerstoffmangels.

Hatten eine umfangreiche Bestellung zum Abholen aufgegeben. Und sind auch nicht enttäuscht worden. Sehr leckeres Essen mit der genau richtigen Schärfe und ordentlich große Portionen. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und bestellen gern wieder hier.

We ended up here again on our second visit to Weimar. The food is delicious, and no expense is spared on ingredients. One of the best Indian restaurants we know, and we eat Indian food often.

House of India – Weimar I've been to the House of India in Weimar a few times now, and each time it's been a real highlight. The atmosphere is calm, relaxed, and pleasantly warm; you immediately feel at home. The staff is super friendly, attentive, but never intrusive—just the right balance. What really won me over is the food: The dishes are full of flavor, well-seasoned (but never too spicy, unless you want it to be), and everything tastes fresh and homemade. My favorite is the chicken korma, incredibly creamy and perfectly seasoned. The lamb curry was also tender and aromatic. I highly recommend the samosas as a starter—crispy on the outside, spicy and juicy on the inside. The value for money is absolutely spot on. The portions are generous, you'll definitely be filling, and I think the prices are more than fair for the quality. I especially like that you can always try something new; the menu is varied but not overwhelming. I'll definitely be back, whether to eat in or takeout. If you are looking for good, authentic Indian cuisine in Weimar, you have come to the right place.

For the first time, four of us had a delicious meal, and for a great price. Great service and a lovely atmosphere. We'll be back!

When I visited the House of India, I once again realized how important diversity and cultural exchange are in these times. Kind, polite service, heavenly flavors, delicious Indian/German beer, which was needed to accompany the "medium spicy" dishes measured on the Indian scale. There are tables inside and outside.

The food was good and the service too, but the ambience could have been a little more "Indian". The facility has a few unsightly spots here and there. But all in all a good place if you want a quick Indian meal.

We were from Australia and travelling around Germany. After having loads of German food we were looking to fill our taste buds with some Indian food when we were in Weimar. We found this great restaurant and their chicken biriyani, naan and chicken tikka masala was amazing. The biriyani was one of the best’s we had.

A very good Indian restaurant that we happened to visit on our Weimar vacation. The friendly waitress answered our questions about the Indian specialties and served us courteously. Had the 100 "DUCK DHANSAK" with duck, prepared in an unusual combination of lentils and spices in a medium hot curry sauce and with Bhatura the Indian balloon bread. Highly recommended.

We had dinner with the family on Friday without a reservation and got a table straight away. Our server was friendly, attentive, quick and efficient. Our drinks came quickly, as did the food. All the dishes were authentic, super tasty and filled you up. Our waiter immediately offered more rice when it ran out. All guests also received a mango schnapps on the house. The atmosphere was super pleasant and the prices were surprisingly affordable for the quantity and quality of the food. All in all a successful evening! Gladly again :D

We usually order the take out . They have the best lunch menu . We are warmly welcomed with the glass of mango lassi. The food is heavenly delicious !!
