Zoja - Börek & mehr in Bad Hersfeld

It's simply brilliant. The value for money is a 10/10! I highly recommend it. The food is very good, the atmosphere and the friendly service are wonderful. The Lotus cake is spectacular, but unfortunately we never got to take a photo.

We specifically called and asked if we could come with a dog. This was promised. When we arrived we were told we could choose the seat, which was in the upper part so that the dogs were out of the way. Presumably the boss came and picked up the drinks and brought them and was never seen again. No menu, no question about food had to be taken care of by the regulars at the counter. After half an hour we left again. I have yet to come across an absolute anti-welcome. It's a shame because the place is really nice.

I tried to order something here twice. The first time you couldn't pay by card. The second time we wanted to order a large menu - we chose for a long time and then went to the counter to order. However, the woman immediately rejected us. At first she simply said “no,” then she asked how long we were willing to wait. We replied that we would wait as long as it took. But the owner said in an unfriendly and harsh tone that she would not make a large order. That was neither polite nor customer friendly. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place.
