Auf dem Weg nach Salzburg machten wir einen spontanen Zwischenstopp. Wir kamen mit dem Besitzer Rich ins Gespräch – ein wirklich höflicher und freundlicher Kerl! Wir tauschten uns über unsere Reisen aus. Tolle Atmosphäre. Vielfältige Speisen- und Getränkeauswahl. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Rich war super, wir hatten ein nettes Gespräch und er war sehr zuvorkommend. Der Ort ist wunderschön, mir gefallen das Ambiente und die Atmosphäre sehr.

Wir waren gleich 2x dort, einmal zur Mittagszeit, dort hatten wir einen Eisbecher und Kaiserschmarrn gegessen, der Kaiserschmarrn war/ist dort ein Traum! Zum Abendessen gab es Schweinsbraten mit Rotkohl, Backähnchen mit Kartoffelsalat und auch dieses essen war einfach Top!

Leckeres Essen, schneller freundlicher Service. Für mich das beste Restaurant im Umkreis Ruhpolding.

Urige schöne Alm, kleine Speisekarte, aber die Auswahl ist genau dass was man sich in den Bergen vorstellt. Sehr gute Küche und netter Service. Für Menschen mit Behinderung sehr gut geeignet, liegt direkt am Parkplatz.

Super Lokalität. Essen und Service sind spitze. Gemütliche Räumlichkeiten im Inneren und gute Sitz Möglichkeiten aussen. Super mit dem Auto und vor allem mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Zwiebelrostbraten, Schweinsbraten und Kaiserschmarn suchen in der Gegend seines Gleichen. Preis Leistung ist auch gut. Klare Empfehlung. Wir kommen wieder sobald wir können.

Die Zirmbergalm, direkt neben dem Biathlon Center gelegen hat eine sehr gute, bayrisch - österreichische qualitativ hochwertige Küche. Hier sollte man unter gewissen Bedingungen vorreservieren.

Rustikal und urig, super freundlich und hilfsbereit im Service, hervorragende Küche. Super nette Gäste, Hunde sind erlaubt. Der 7. Himmel der Gastronomie... ganz klare Empfehlung!

Wir waren zum ersten mal in der Zirmbergalm und waren mehr als zufrieden. Wir hatten uns vorher schon die ein oder andere Bewertung durchgelesen und wurden keineswegs enttäuscht! Das Ambiente und das Haus sind super einladend und sehr gemütlich. Unser Essen war vorzüglich! Zum einen hatten wir die Kaspressknödel mit Salat und frischen Brot. Eine riesen Portion. Dazu wurde ein ausgewähltes Öl sowie ein perfekt passendes Dressing serviert. Auch der Krautsalat, dieser zu den Knödel gehört, war unter dem Salat versteckt. Mein Freund hatte sich für den Schweinebraten entschieden, dieser war leider aus. Auf Anfrage haben sie für ihn knuspriges Wiener Schnitzel aus Kalbfleisch zubereitet. Auch hier eine ordentliche Portion mit Preiselbeeren dazu - super. Als Dessert haben wir uns die warmen Marillenknödel mit Eis und Sahne geteilt - diese waren ein Genuss! Die Getränke runden alles ab, wir haben uns für eine heiße Schokolade sowie die heiße Holunder mit Minze & Ingwer entschieden. Diese war so erfrischend, dass wir eine Zweite bestellen mussten. Auch das schöne Gasthaus direkt neben der Chiemgau Arena/ Biathlon Stadion ist ein kleines Erlebnis für sich. Der Service ohne Wünsche! Wir haben uns super nett unterhalten, alle waren freundlich! Von uns ein absolutes Muss wenn man in der Nähe ist und eine 100% Empfehlung!

Das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich. Die Bedienungen waren freundlich, jedoch hat uns das Essen nicht komplett überzeugt. Wir vermuten, dass nur Teile davon frisch zubereitet werden, dafür spricht auch die sehr geringe Wartezeit.

Wir kommen regelmäßig hierher und wurden noch kein einziges Mal enttäuscht. Besonders der Schweinebraten ist absolut hervorragend – zart, saftig und geschmacklich genau so, wie man ihn sich wünscht. Auch die Portionen sind wirklich großzügig. Das Schnitzel ist riesig und dabei top zubereitet. Man bekommt hier definitiv etwas für sein Geld, zumal die Preise mehr als fair sind. Der Service verdient ebenfalls ein großes Lob: alle Mitarbeiter sind immer freundlich, aufmerksam und sorgen dafür, dass man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Für uns ein fester Anlaufpunkt – wir kommen immer wieder gerne! Zumal wir uns ebenfalls wieder auf die Terrassen Saison freuen. Mit dem Spielplatz für Eltern perfekt.

Wir waren Mega enttäuscht. Geschmack ist klar individuell aber ich muss schon sagen, wir fandens wirklich ein Griff ins Klo. Preislich absolut keine Rechtfertigung für so ein Essen… Sorry Steak war echt schlechte Qualität und auch nicht Medium, unseres Erachtens fertigsoßemix, zähes Wild (hatte ich glaube ich noch nie in meinem Leben), Fertiggrößtl etc. Und das Ganze für nen sehr stolzen Preis, Steak z.B. 28,90€ für die Gerichte… Zudem waren wir an einem Geburtstag dort mit Ankündigung und es war wirklich nichts gedeckt oder sonst was, also wir fandens echt weng lustlos

Im Sommerurlaub 25 lernten wir die Zirmbergalm durch Freunde kennen und waren hier zweimal essen. Die Speisen waren lecker und auch für Vegetarier geeignet. Sehr freundlicher Service. Daraufhin buchten wir für den 25.12 (Winterurlaub) wieder einen Tisch, und obwohl uns der Koch wohl vergessen hatte ;-) war es wieder sehr nett. Unsere Vermieterin in Ruhpolding kennt sogar die Damen hier. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine furchtbare Erfahrung! Ein Kellner knallte unserem Hund die Tür vor der Nase zu und beschwerte sich dann auch noch über ihn. Wir fühlten uns sofort extrem unwillkommen, bezahlten und gingen. Der Kellner erwartete sogar Trinkgeld für die 6,40 € teure Flasche Wasser und das Bier – und das in nur fünf Minuten! Es gibt unzählige wunderbare Wirtshäuser in den Bayerischen Alpen. Meiden Sie dieses hier!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in der Zirmbergalm. So ein hübsches Restaurant hat man ja leider in Bayern immer seltener. Bald sehen alle Restaurants gleich aus, modern und nüchtern, austauschbar. Hier ist es so schön traditionell mit hübschen Sitzecken, viel Holz und liebevoller Deko. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und der Service sehr freundlich und umsichtig. Absolute Empfehlung.

Yesterday, two of us went for lunch. The food was delicious, the service was very friendly, and the location was fantastic. This was our third visit, and we'll be back, at the latest in March 2026 when the ice speedway races start in Inzell!

Super delicious food! We were looking for a place for 10 people at short notice, and the waitress immediately got to work so we could come in for dinner. No "we should have let you know in advance," no "what?! 10 people!!?" Truly great! We felt incredibly comfortable and well looked after. Thanks again for that!

We were recommended to go here, and it was totally worth it! In beautiful, sunny weather, we were able to sit outside, against the wall of the building. The service was wonderful, friendly and quick. We had liver (super-fine, very tender, well-cooked) and cheese spaetzle, creamy, aromatic, with crispy fried onions. 👍 You had to order the salad separately (€5), but it was still good value for money. The restaurant is also very nice inside, including the restrooms.

If you're looking for a cozy atmosphere with down-to-earth, excellent cuisine and friendly, always-present service, this is the place for you. The Alm was recommended to us by locals, and we followed this recommendation several times. The menu has something for everyone and is 100% focused on Alpine cuisine. No matter which dish we chose, it was always the right one. I would particularly like to highlight the Styrian fried chicken with potato and cucumber salad, pumpkin oil, and seeds —if it weren't for the nasty stains, I could have smashed my teeth.

Great food. The selection of food and drinks is very good. The food that comes out of the kitchen is very good – also pleasing to the eye. One small downside: When you order beer, the foam collapses after a short time, and the drink not only looks terrible but also tastes terrible. Otherwise, everything is excellent.

A fantastic restaurant. We were here on the second-to-last day of our vacation and, because it was so delicious, we went back on the last evening! We had five different dishes, and all of them were delicious. The alpine hut is located in a beautiful valley, is beautifully decorated, and the service was always friendly! Highly recommended ❤️

I ordered a rump steak. What came out of the kitchen was thin and dry as a shoe sole. I complained to the very friendly waitress, which was taken back without any problems. The new steak I got was barely seared at all. I think the chef was annoyed by my complaint and thought I'd give it to him. My second steak wasn't seared; it was slightly undercooked inside, completely raw, and partly cold. I've never eaten so badly. I ate half and complained about the other half, which was taken back without any problems, with the apology that I didn't have to pay for my meal. But that was all to no avail; my day was ruined. This shouldn't happen.

I stopped in with my 17-year-old grandson after a long hike and treated ourselves to a delicious Kaiserschmarren (sweet pancake). We'd happily go back.

The food tastes very good and is plentiful, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is very friendly, and you don't have to wait long for your food. Highly recommended.

Wow! We spontaneously stopped here on the way back from the swimming lake. The food is really very good! The selection is like a journey through the Alps. From Bavaria to Austria to South Tyrol, there really is something for everyone! We felt very comfortable; the food and service were really excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant! Now we're enjoying a Kaiserschmarrn (be careful, it's made in this modern caramelized version—I prefer the fluffy, old-school version) and a fresh beer. We'll be happy to come back.

Service was very friendly. Unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly good. The Kaiserschmarrn was too greasy and had a rather odd consistency. The salad with mountain cheese, unfortunately, wasn't dressed with any mountain cheese.

Good food, waited about an hour for the food. Other guests were told that it's normal to wait 45 minutes for food, and that it's crowded both on the terrace and inside. When we paid, we saw that there were only a few people inside. Nevertheless, it was a nice restaurant, with well-maintained restrooms and good food.

It is a pretty cozy, nice looking restaurant with great service, there is plenty of meals to choose from and they even have great selection of desserts. I recommend booking a table to make sure they always have place for you. 100% satisfied.
