The food at the Zirmbergalm is always varied and of very good quality. The service (the manager) is always friendly.

Super delicious food! We were looking for a place for 10 people at short notice, and the waitress immediately got to work so we could come in for dinner. No "we should have let you know in advance," no "what?! 10 people!!?" Truly great! We felt incredibly comfortable and well looked after. Thanks again for that!

We were recommended to go here, and it was totally worth it! In beautiful, sunny weather, we were able to sit outside, against the wall of the building. The service was wonderful, friendly and quick. We had liver (super-fine, very tender, well-cooked) and cheese spaetzle, creamy, aromatic, with crispy fried onions. 👍 You had to order the salad separately (€5), but it was still good value for money. The restaurant is also very nice inside, including the restrooms.

If you're looking for a cozy atmosphere with down-to-earth, excellent cuisine and friendly, always-present service, this is the place for you. The Alm was recommended to us by locals, and we followed this recommendation several times. The menu has something for everyone and is 100% focused on Alpine cuisine. No matter which dish we chose, it was always the right one. I would particularly like to highlight the Styrian fried chicken with potato and cucumber salad, pumpkin oil, and seeds —if it weren't for the nasty stains, I could have smashed my teeth.

Great food. The selection of food and drinks is very good. The food that comes out of the kitchen is very good – also pleasing to the eye. One small downside: When you order beer, the foam collapses after a short time, and the drink not only looks terrible but also tastes terrible. Otherwise, everything is excellent.

A fantastic restaurant. We were here on the second-to-last day of our vacation and, because it was so delicious, we went back on the last evening! We had five different dishes, and all of them were delicious. The alpine hut is located in a beautiful valley, is beautifully decorated, and the service was always friendly! Highly recommended ❤️

I ordered a rump steak. What came out of the kitchen was thin and dry as a shoe sole. I complained to the very friendly waitress, which was taken back without any problems. The new steak I got was barely seared at all. I think the chef was annoyed by my complaint and thought I'd give it to him. My second steak wasn't seared; it was slightly undercooked inside, completely raw, and partly cold. I've never eaten so badly. I ate half and complained about the other half, which was taken back without any problems, with the apology that I didn't have to pay for my meal. But that was all to no avail; my day was ruined. This shouldn't happen.

I stopped in with my 17-year-old grandson after a long hike and treated ourselves to a delicious Kaiserschmarren (sweet pancake). We'd happily go back.

The food tastes very good and is plentiful, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is very friendly, and you don't have to wait long for your food. Highly recommended.

Wow! We spontaneously stopped here on the way back from the swimming lake. The food is really very good! The selection is like a journey through the Alps. From Bavaria to Austria to South Tyrol, there really is something for everyone! We felt very comfortable; the food and service were really excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant! On the evening of our arrival, we sat sheltered from the pouring rain. We were served delicious food and drinks even though it was packed. There were larger families there, but the service was very friendly and quick.

The food was good, but very little on the plate. I had schnitzel with a handful of fries. We usually go there when we're on vacation in Ruhpolding. My wife didn't have much more on her plate either. That was the last time for now.

Beautiful ambiance, very friendly, helpful staff, and most importantly: one of the best roast pork ever. You have to try it. Now we're enjoying a Kaiserschmarrn (be careful, it's made in this modern caramelized version—I prefer the fluffy, old-school version) and a fresh beer. We'll be happy to come back.

Service was very friendly. Unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly good. The Kaiserschmarrn was too greasy and had a rather odd consistency. The salad with mountain cheese, unfortunately, wasn't dressed with any mountain cheese.

Good food, waited about an hour for the food. Other guests were told that it's normal to wait 45 minutes for food, and that it's crowded both on the terrace and inside. When we paid, we saw that there were only a few people inside. Nevertheless, it was a nice restaurant, with well-maintained restrooms and good food.

It is a pretty cozy, nice looking restaurant with great service, there is plenty of meals to choose from and they even have great selection of desserts. I recommend booking a table to make sure they always have place for you. 100% satisfied.

Simply recommended! Beautiful alpine pasture right next to the Chiemgau Arena, beautifully designed inside and out. Very clean & great toilets prepared with a lot of love. (It's a must see even if you don't have to.) The food was absolutely delicious, everything was homemade, no long wait, large portions and beautifully presented. Service very friendly and attentive. Homemade cake & cream tastes great. (It's worth 4.10 euros per piece) simply a pleasure. Prices overall okay plus/minus 1.00-2.00 more. Well attended, closes at 8 p.m. Very friendly innkeepers. We've been there 3 times and I would go there again and again.

Had lunch outdoors in front of a splendid bright green lawn in a magnificent setting! Exquisite food, truly top-notch dumplings, all excellent dishes, well presented and plentiful Despite the many people, the service was quick and the staff very kind. Prices are a little expensive but the place, the exquisite food and the kindness of the waitresses are worth it.

First time me and my wife, the place is a really unique experience, in a peaceful surrounding inside a marvellous green hill. I tried the lamb (delicious) with crusty and a stunning sauce 😋. My wife had the Schweinebraten with knödel. And to end, we had the homemade apfelstrudel with hot vanilla sauce. The service was impeccable, we fully recommend it, we will be back as soon as possible

What can I say, this restaurant is great. A beautiful wooden building, everything inside is made of wood. Beautiful Bavarian decor. Clean, nice and tasty. Lots of space inside and the possibility of eating outside. The food is delicious. Delicious mulled wine. When we are in the area, we will definitely come back 👌

Venison goulash was good but warmed up, the red cabbage was warmed up in the microwave and completely dried out and that's even possible in Bavaria Ned, Ochsenbackerl were great but it was all a bit too much of the good stuff...

The spaetzle were good, except for the sauce which was overloaded with teriyaki sauce. I also found a plastic part in the food.

A WOW to the kitchen! We had onion roast beef, Schlutzkrapfen and spaetzle with sauce. Super delicious! Great portions. It's a shame that there was no room in my stomach for the apricot dumplings. We'll try these next time 😊🙏🏻.

Wir waren schon oft dort zum Essen und immer zufrieden. Jetzt bin ich sehr enttäuscht. Alle Soßen (Currywurst, Schweinebraten und Geschnetzeltes) schmeckten nach Päckchensoßen. Steak zäh, Brokkoliesuppe zu dick. Beilagensalat muss man extra bestellen. Zu Pommes weder Ketchup noch Majo, Kräuterbutter kaum zu entdecken. Schade. Portionsgröße ist ordentlich. Service sehr freundlich. Ambiente nachwievor sehr schön. Bitte lieber Koch wieder etwas ansträngen.

A clear five out of five stars. The food was delicious, the service was very friendly and the prices were absolutely fair. Four years ago we were there almost every day. That's why we had to go back today. Nothing has changed since then. It is still a very clear recommendation.

The restaurant is simply a feast for the eyes. Super nice staff and the food is always top. I still have a small problem or point of criticism when you eat in it.... Quaint restaurant with friendly staff who serve typical Bavarian home cooking in a cheerful and inexpensive manner. We have been there several times a day and when there was no room for the cake at lunchtime, it went perfectly with coffee in the afternoon. Roast pork with dumplings dream. Schnitzel onion roast, I think I even had deer once. You can simply order whatever comes to mind and it tastes exactly as it should or better. A convincing 5 star compliment from me!

The ambience is great, service is lightning fast and always friendly, but in our opinion the food is a bit lacking.

Service was nice, but unfortunately the food didn't impress us. Great location (decoration and the building is impressive), from which we would have expected more all in all. There were still whole juniper berries in the goulash, it is very unpleasant to fish them out and unappetizing after you bite into them. Tip: Use a spice net. Unfortunately, according to our taste, it was over-seasoned - it tasted like mulled wine spices and the fat was floating on the edge of the plate.

The onion roast was the best I've eaten in a long time. And I often test them. The other dishes were also great. We had a colleague visiting and stopped there. Certainly not for the last time.
