Zirmbergalm in Ruhpolding

Quaint restaurant with friendly staff who serve typical Bavarian home cooking in a cheerful and inexpensive manner. We have been there several times a day and when there was no room for the cake at lunchtime, it went perfectly with coffee in the afternoon. Roast pork with dumplings dream. Schnitzel onion roast, I think I even had deer once. You can simply order whatever comes to mind and it tastes exactly as it should or better. A convincing 5 star compliment from me!

The ambience is great, service is lightning fast and always friendly, but in our opinion the food is a bit lacking.

Service was nice, but unfortunately the food didn't impress us. Great location (decoration and the building is impressive), from which we would have expected more all in all. There were still whole juniper berries in the goulash, it is very unpleasant to fish them out and unappetizing after you bite into them. Tip: Use a spice net. Unfortunately, according to our taste, it was over-seasoned - it tasted like mulled wine spices and the fat was floating on the edge of the plate.

The onion roast was the best I've eaten in a long time. And I often test them. The other dishes were also great. We had a colleague visiting and stopped there. Certainly not for the last time.

Delicious! We made a reservation inside (with a dog) and were then allowed to choose a table. Service nice and friendly. Fast service. We were very surprised by the food. Our daughter fell in love with the Schlutzkrapfen, my husband had the delicious onion roast and I had cheese dumplings with mushrooms and salad from the daily menu. Everything was very tasty and plentiful. Very good value for money. Thanks to the kitchen and the service, you're doing a great job.

The food was really delicious and lovingly prepared. The waitresses were attentive and nice. The ambience was also good. The price is also just reasonable. All in all, a good thing. P.S. It should be noted that the kitchen only takes orders until 7 p.m.

A very nice and cozy alpine pasture where you can sit outside and have a beautiful view. Friendly and attentive service. The food was at the table quickly and tasted delicious. Price-wise it was okay too. The toilets are modern and clean. There are also free parking spaces in front of the Alm. Recommend.

Very friendly service and very tasty food, regional dishes, large portions of Kaiserschmarrn and the hearty snack were great, and more bread was available upon request.

Normally I always enjoyed eating there, but from today on I won't be spending my money there anymore! Service is only nice as long as you don't express an opinion! The guest is king, I come from the industry myself! Regardless of whether the service is pleasant or not...however you scream into the forest, it comes back!

Das Essen (bestehend aus Vorspeise und Hauptgang) war unbeschreiblich gut und kam bei allen Gästen sehr gut an! Der Service war richtig super & flott! Und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar! Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team! Wir erinnern uns gerne zurück und können die Zirmbergalm allg. und für Festlichkeiten nur weiterempfehlen!

Very nice atmosphere, friendly service, good food, rather long waiting times. The trio (photo) was good, the small one. Mixed salad & the salad with fried chicken weren't very much and too expensive for the quantity. Good selection, also for vegetarians. Some parking spaces available directly at the inn. Lots of additional free parking next door from 6pm.

Went there for dinner with a larger group. The staff was very friendly. From the rustic restaurant you had an open view of the kitchen and could watch the kitchen staff preparing the food. Despite the large group and a wide variety of orders, we didn't have to wait long. The food was consistently delicious and the portions were large and filling. Would come here again at any time.

Habe schon oft dort gegessen, war immer gut. Diesmal war ich so enttäuscht. Meine Frau und ich hatten so wenig auf dem Teller wie noch nie. Die Pommes zum Schnitzel hätte man an der Hand abzählen können. War wohl ein Kinderteller . Meine Frau hatte noch weniger auf dem Teller. Ich weiß das alles teurer geworden, aber das war schon heftig .

A very nice alpine pasture, we looked at the biathlon stadium and then stopped here. It was very tasty and the staff was very nice ☺️you feel comfortable here. You can sit outside and it's very comfortable inside. Parking spaces are also available 😀

We were on holiday at the Zimbergalm for the second year. Whether just for a beer, coffee, a "tasty temptation" or a good meal... great! We always enjoyed being there, not least because everyone there is very friendly! The whole concept is "a nice piece all around Bavaria "!

The schnitzel with fries was better. Fries, soft schnitzel could have been fried a little longer. For the prices it has to be perfect. Let's see what it's like next time.

So perfect from start to finish. Sitting outside while the sun slowly sets was wonderful, as was the delicious food! We had the lamb medallions and the beef rump. Both were beautifully prepared and the taste was really first class. The ladies in service also did a quick and friendly job.

Not far from the Chiemgau Arena is this wonderful restaurant, which literally invites you to linger and take a break. Super delicious food, very nice, friendly and quick staff. Really a large selection of dishes, of course also the Bavarian style. Wonderful beer garden, great location, great ambience, simply more than rustic. 👍 Will definitely come back.

I think there is a lot of "rest" here on the proximity to the stadium because the price-performance ratio is poor. Schnitzel with 3 asparagus spears and potatoes for around €21 and cheese spaetzle that only tasted like milk. If everything were a little cheaper it would be okay, but the price is not justified. Service isn't the real thing either. There is definitely better in the area.

We were there for the first time and sat outside in the beer garden, which was rustic and cozy. So we can't judge what it's like inside. The Kaiserschmarrn we ordered was fluffy and caramelized and very tasty. The price for this in my opinion. according to average. Parking was plentiful available. A great location if you like it rustic and cozy. Plus a great view.

The best lamb I had in a long time, really. The meat is juicy, everything is fresh, it’s awesome. The team is outstandingly friendly and makes you feel instantly at home, in a relaxing and authentic environment. The scenery from the terrasse is worth seeing, especially with the evening sun. The alpine travel through the menu is a fitting idea too. I fully recommend!

Unfriendly staff were there on Thursday, my husband wanted to order another light one, the waitress walked past our table 5 times and the older woman shook her head as if the waitress shouldn't give anything more!!!!!

During the winter sports a few weeks ago we came back here three times. All the food that the six of us ate was of excellent quality. It was always delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive. There is a nice atmosphere. What is common in Germany, especially in this area, is that the kitchen closes very early, so if you eat at our Dutch time, by the time you are ready for dessert, the kitchen is closed. If you take that into account, there is nothing to worry about and you can also enjoy delicious desserts here.

Friendly and courteous staff. The Trias (photo) was fantastic, the Kaiserschmarrn was perhaps a little too caramelized depending on your taste, but still super tasty. Good P/L ratio.

Viele Touristen aber kein Touri-Nepp. Bodenständige gute Küche in schöner Lage. Speziell im Sommer macht es richtig Spaß draußen zu sitzen und eine Brotzeit und eine Halbe zu genießen. Einziger Nachteil gerade unter der Woche sind die frühen Schließzeiten. Wir kommen immer wieder.

Just a great place! We were lucky enough to eat there after the biathlon! The food was very, very good! You can look into the kitchen and see how everything is freshly prepared. And that's brilliant. This way you can see how the food is prepared. The service is always attentive and everything is perfect despite the high number of guests! Sehr schöne Gaststätte mit leckeren Essen und freundlichen Personal. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an leckeren Gerichten. Die Zirmbergalm ist urig eingerichtet und die Toiletten sind modern und sehr sauber. Wir fanden es sehr toll das man von der Gaststätte in die Küche schauen kann. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und für den Preis absolut ausreichend von der Menge. Würden jederzeit wieder da essen gehen.

Nach der Tischreservierung zwei Tage zuvor sind wir am ersten Abend des neuen Jahres hier eingekehrt. Mutter und Tochter haben das Restaurant voll im Griff und man wird auch sehr gut bedient. Das Essen stammt aus einer regionalen Küche. Wir haben Kalbsgeschnezeltes mit Eierspätzle und Hirschgulasch mit Rotkohl und Eierspätzle gegessen. Leider ohne Foto. Wir können das Restaurant sehr empfehlen, aber bitte immer einen Reservierung vornehmen

Sehr gutes Essen, gemütliche Atmosphäre direkt an der Chiemgau Arena Ruhpolding. Wir hatten (zu viert) den Schweinsbraten, das "Tris", den Backhendlsalat und das "Tiroler Drei-Länder-Gröstl" (siehe Bild). Sehr gute Drei Länder-Küche (Bayern, Österreich, Südtirol)...Wieninger Bier (aus Teisendorf an der A8).

Supper schönes Ambiente , schöne uhrige Skihütte , freundliches Personal gutes Essen , alles was das Herz begehrt.

Haben hier ein leckeres Schnitzel gegessen. Kleiner Geheimtipp die Cola, schmeckt super gut!

Wenn wir vom Urlaub nach Bayern zurück kommen, machen wir hier unseren obligatorischen Boxenstopp. Essen, Trinken, alles perfekt. Uriges Ambiente und freundlicher Service mit karierter Bluse. Vergeltsgott für das gute Essen!😋

Wir lieben diese tolle Alm, die Wirtsleut, dass Essen, die Freundlichkeit. Das Ambiente innen wie außen, heißt für uns einfach Urlaub. Hier gibt's den besten Kaiserschmarrn ever. Dieses Jahr waren wir wieder 4x in unserem Urlaub hier essen. Bis nächstes Jahr.

Wir hatten für Samstagabend reserviert und hatten wegen des Kinderwagens einen sehr großen Tisch. Obwohl das Lokal voll war wurden wir zügig bedient. Leider mussten wir über eine Stunde auf das Essen warten. Gäste, die weit nach uns bestellten waren bereits fertig mit essen als wir unseres bekamen. Hirschgulasch und Tafelspitz waren sehr lecker, die Ruhpoldinger Brotzeit hingegen war ein totales desaster. Alles unter Zwiebel begraben, schmeckte nach eben dieser, die Wurst war zum Teil ungenießbar, da vermutlich schon etwas älter. Das Gericht ging fast komplett zurück, die Reaktion der Servicekraft war ungenügend. Das Gericht stande ganz normal auf der Rechnung. Das hat mit Service nichts zu tun.

Die Tris- Knödel waren gut und lecker. Die Germknödel eine Katastrophe! Aldi Dreierpack TK, in der Mikrowelle gemacht,klein, hart. Das kann man sogar zuhause besser. Ich hatte auf einen großen fluffigen gehofft, schade!!So ist das nix!!

Zweimal waren wir da und zweimal wurden unser Erwartung übertroffen. Es ist gemütlich, authentisch, urig, supersauber und modern. Die Ausstattung ist ein geglückter Seiltanz zwischen älplerischem, rustikalem Flair und moderner Eleganz. Dem Service macht die Arbeit da Spaß, denn anders kann ich mir so einen von Grund auf ungestelzt, freundlichen Service nicht erklären, daran ändert auch ein im Weg stehender Rollator und ein winselnder Dackel nix. Ein Problem war, dass die Karte eine so vielfältig leckere Auswahl bietet, dass man sich schwer entscheiden kann. Da das was da aus der Küche kommt, durchwegs vorbehaltlos empfehlenswert ist, kommt man um mehrere Besuche nicht rum. Jederzeit wieder - Danke! 1. Besuch - Backhändlsalat/Leber Tiroler Art 2.
