Nice little restaurant. Unfortunately, the portions are a bit small for the relatively high prices.

Faith is not personal to me. Portions too small and the food was really salty. Prices too high for the portion size. Faith is more of a cocktail shop. Food doesn't look that tasty either. Had duck with black corn chip.

Great restaurant with very distinct Peruvian dishes and local drinks! We had a table for 4 and very given great advice on starters, main dishes and desserts - and drinks. The chef takes pleasure in providing very special dishes - mouthwatering and definitely a reason to come back Great food with passion!

Upscale Latin American cuisine, with a very high quality at a more than moderate price. We've been guests several times now, as the menu changes every six months and even my Peruvian girlfriend was hooked.

I've been here for a few times and each time I'm very satisfied with the creativity, taste and the combination of flavours and textures of the food. Most importantly, the prices are reasonable and affordable especially for creative fusion food like this, it's rare! Highly recommended!

Always an absolute delight for the palate. The dishes are very interesting, delicious and well prepared and, thanks to the constantly changing menu, also very varied. Service is very warm and attentive and I'm really surprised that Yaku isn't bursting at the seams every weekend. I hardly know of any restaurant in Hamburg where you can get such great food at such fair prices. Always, always happy - keep it up!

We visited this place on Saturday 24th. It was a recommendation from a colleague at work. In general an amazing place with tasty food and great service. ☺️ We got 3 appetizers, two main dishes and some drinks. We were excited about the menu we saw online and it didn't disappoint us. About the food: We tried three different appetizers (please forgive me I don't remember the exact name of the dishes): Appetizers 1. Octopus Sopes: black corn tortilla with some beans and octopus on top. Great combination of flavors. I also added some cream on top from the dish of my partner and it was delicious. 2. Heart accompanied by cream and a purple potato. Also amazing. 3. Duck breast with a spicy sweet sauce and a black corn tortilla (we accompanied it with jalapenos bread and this coffee butter🥰). Main dishes: 1. I had a vegetarian dish that had Palmito and leek as the stars of the dish. I definitely recommend it. 2. My partner had a risotto with fish and shrimps. Both great dishes with a lot of flavor. Drinks They have amazing options for drinks. (Alcohol free and with alcohol). Definitely try the lemonade, the purple chicha, micheladas and a pisco cocktail. General: Service 10/10. Our waiter (sadly didn't get his name) provided great suggestions, was always attentive, spoke Spanish and German (which makes the experience extra special). They mentioned the menu changes every 4 months or so, which might be the reason why the current menu is not the one that is on the website. I loved the experience, I will definitely recommend it to people who appreciate good food and like to try new ingredients and flavors. And I will definitely come back. Finally, if you read my whole review and care about seats (I got to say the chairs were just a little bit hard) not a problem for me ☺️.

Yaku Restaurant offers delicious, simple and cultural Peruvian cuisine. It is recommended for a cozy evening with friends.

Ein kleines, nettes Restaurant in der Nähe zur U-Bahnstation Hallerstrasse. Ungewohnte Gerichte aus Peru und México stehen auf der übersichtlichen Speisekarte. Es gibt außerdem gute Coctails, frisches Bier und eine nette Weinkarte. Wer sich nicht vorstellen kann eine Limonade aus Mais zu trinken, ausprobieren! Wir durften sogar vorher probieren. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Gerichte schmeckten uns sehr gut, es lohnt sich unterschiedliche Speisen zu bestellen und zu probieren. Teilweise ist es recht spicy aber rechtlich lecker. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Sardinen und Jacobsmuscheln ganz fein abgeschmeckt. Eine ganz frische, schärfere Ceviche und die Entenkeule in Schokoladensauce (eher herber als süß) waren ein toller Hauptgang. Dazu Tortillas oder warmes Maisbrot. Sehr lecker. Die Preise fanden wir ok. Es ist ein kleines Restaurant daher wird es recht schnell laut, aber es ist gemütlich.

We ordered cauliflower and nachos as starters which really set the impressed tone for the rest of the meal. Delicious lamb taco and super fresh ceviche (tad bit too spicy for me). Nice relaxing atmosphere for dinner with friends or date night. Will definitely be back!

Auch wenn unsere Bestellung durcheinander kam und wir erst klären mussten, tat dies keinen Abbruch - die Gerichte die kamen waren toll!! Da versteht jemand sein Handwerk und dieser Zauberer/in kann seine Leidenschaft auf dem Teller auf ästhetischste Weise ausdrücken! We randomly stumbled on this restaurant and it was amazing! The food was beautifully presented in a simple but gorgeous manner, and the taste was exceptional! The Pisco Passion was also a very delicious accompanyment. Mains were exceptionally well priced also!

4 von 5 Speisen waren hervorragend (ungewöhnlicher und/oder aufregender Geschmack), 1 von 5 war gut. Die Cocktails (Sours und Margaritas) waren ebenfalls von TOP Qualität und die peruanischen Biere lecker. Der Wein ist sehr günstig, aber die Weinkarte mit 5 Weinen für mich zu kurz. Der Service ist hervorragend (freundlich, kompetent, aufmerksam). Einzig wie schon von Gästen vor mir erwähnt: die Stühle sind wirklich nicht toll. Optisch eine Vollkatastrophe und bequem geht auch anders. In jedem Fall aber ein Restaurant, das man kennen sollte. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We went for lunch ok Sunday where they serve a small Bruch menu, however you can order from their main evening menu as well. The food is really authentic tasting Peruvian and Mexican dishes. Amazing flavours and presentation for fair prices. I can highly recommend this restaurant if you love south American food. The waiter was very nice and explained the dishes to us. We ordered from the Bruch menu which are very generous portions and one dish from the main menu. We were told that the menu changes every 3-4 month. So definitely worth going back to sample what new and tasty dishes will be presented in the future.

Eines der besten Restaurants in Hamburg. Jedes Gericht eine Geschmacksexplosion. Und zum Abschluss einen Pisco Sour. Sehr freundliches Personal, schneller Service.

Hervorragende Küche, ceviche ist das perfekte Essen für warme Tage. Service immer sehr nett. Auch die Getränke vom Barkeeper sind ein Genuss.

Sehr leckere und etwas außergewöhnliche Speisen. Ich hatte als Vorspeise "TOSTADA DEL CARMEN" (Gegarter Schwertfisch mit Mango-Hollandaisesauce, Forellenkaviar und Maistostada) für 10,50 EUR und als Hauptspeise "CULTIVO" (Chipotle-Kichererbsen mit Kaktusfeigen, Herzpalmen und knusprigem Reis, vegetarisch) für 14 EUR, siehe Fotos.

Ein sehr schönes Lokal, klein aber fein! Das Essen war unfassbar lecker und der Kellner war sehr freundlich und hat uns auch beim Bestellen gut beraten. Das Essen war auch sehr toll angerichtet, man hatte schon fast das Gefühl, man wäre in einem Sternerestaurant nur eben sättigenden Speisen.

Eine wirklich tolle, besondere Erfahrung! Wir kommen gerne wieder und freuen uns, die Karte durchzuprobieren :-)

Super nice restaurant to take a stroll into peruvian cuisine. We spent a super nice evening with four people there. The staff was very welcoming and charming. We enjoyed the food very much as it is quite different from the usual Asian or European dishes you are used to. Most of the dishes got a nice twist to them which made you feel like being on holiday for a few hours. The drinks (pisco sour) served are very good as well. Value for money is okay. Portions are not too big...

Es waren jetzt bestimmt 6-7 Abende, die wir im Yaku verbracht haben und wir haben keinen einzigen bereut! Wir gehen gerne gut essen und ich schätze es, wenn ein Küchenchef sein Handwerk versteht und sich stetig weiter entwickelt. Ich liebe die Tellersprache im Yaku (das Auge ist hier definitiv mit), die Liebe zum Detail, die nachhaltige Philosophie und Carlos, der Küchenchef ist ein toller Kollege und eine Seele von Mensch. Auch der Service ist supernett, fit und die Cocktails appetitanregend, süffig und spannend zu entdecken.Eines meiner absoluten Lieblingsrestaurants in Hamburg! Kategorie "da muss man hin!"
