Das Essen war sehr einfallsreich und spannend. Der Service war leider wenig anwesend, sodass wir ewig mit leeren Tellern dasaßen und zum Zahlen einen Kellner suchen mussten. Das Ambiente im Keller muss man mögen, ich empfand es als gemütlich :)

Essen war sehr lecker aber extrem kleine Portionen. Dafür sind die Preise echt hoch.

Kleine Portionen zu hohen Preisen. Der Geschmack ist gut, und man tut genug, um ein einigermaßen authentisches peruanisches Gericht zuzubereiten. Ich hatte den Eindruck, ein Gourmetrestaurant zu besuchen, aber das ist es nicht. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich das Restaurant empfehlen würde, es sei denn, man hat wirklich großen Appetit auf peruanische Küche.

Das Essen war gut, aber für das Gebotene definitiv überteuert. Wir sind nach dem Restaurantbesuch tatsächlich noch woanders essen gegangen.

Es was ein super leckeres Essen, wir hatten 3 Kalte und 3 warme Gerichte zu viert. Eine Flasche Wein, plus 2 Gläse on top, Wasser und 3 Schorlen. Dazu 2x Dessert. Der Service war entzückend, das Ambiente sehr einfach,aber nett. Mit Trinkgeld haben wir fast 260€ da gelassen Uns war das im Nachhinein zu viel für 6 kleine Tellergerichte. Das mindert nicht die Qualität, die war super, aber die Portionen sind wirklich überschaubar und mir für den Preis zu wenig.

Meine Erfahrung war leider etwas enttäuschend. Das Essen, insbesondere das Ceviche, war in Ordnung, aber nicht außergewöhnlich. Was mich besonders gestört hat, waren die unverhältnismäßig hohen Preise im Vergleich zur winzigen Portionsgröße – es fühlte sich an, als hätte man nur ein paar Krümel auf dem Teller. Der Service war freundlich, aber insgesamt fehlte es an gehobener Küche, die den Preis rechtfertigen würde. Insgesamt war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für mich nicht stimmig, und ich würde eher nicht erneut dort essen. Ich verstehe natürlich, dass Gastronomiebetriebe heutzutage mit hohen Mietpreisen und anderen Kosten zu kämpfen haben. Letztlich landet diese Belastung jedoch bei den Gästen – und das hilft am Ende auch nicht, wenn das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis einfach nicht passt.

Tolles und sehr schmackhaftes Essen, allerdings könnten die Teller doch etwas besser gefüllt sein - wer für drei Menschen 6 Gerichte bestellt, wird trotzdem nicht satt. Die Räume sind frugal - es könnte etwas behagliches sein und auch weniger laut.

Mein Besuch bei Bodega Lima in Hamburg war hervorragend. Vom ersten Moment an habe ich mich sehr willkommen gefühlt. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und hat uns den ganzen Abend über perfekt begleitet. Das Essen war überragend – jedes Gericht war geschmacklich hervorragend und mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Dazu kommt das tolle Ambiente, das den Abend besonders angenehm gemacht hat. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Besuch mit großartigem Service von Anfang bis Ende. Eine volle Empfehlung – ich komme sehr gerne wieder!

Als leidenschaftlicher Peru-Food Experte mit vielen peruanischen Freunden hab ich recht viel erwartet. Das Essen war gut. Gehobene Peruanische Küche, aber auch nicht raffiniert. Doch der Service war gestern zum Valentinstag enttäuschend. Trotz Reservierung mit 2 Monaten Vorlauf wurden wir im Keller neben ein Abflussrohr gesetzt, kleiner Minitisch wie im Kiosk, nebendran die Toilette und der Cocktail Mixer. Erste Frage auf Platzwechsel wurde abgelehnt - wow! Für diese Preisregion, mit Reservierung zum Valentinstag schlicht eine Enttäuschung. Chicha zu viel Eis, Lomo Saltado leider ohne Reis. Pulpo war schnell kalt. Vielleicht wirds ein anderes Mal besser. Viva El Peru.

Das Essen war mal reichhaltiger und leckerer. 35€ für ¼ Entenbrust nenne ich Rip-Off. Sorry.

Wir waren am vergangenen Samstag zu viert in der Bodega Lima in Hamburg – und es war für uns eine ganz besondere Überraschung. Unsere Freundinnen hatten uns dorthin geführt, ohne dass wir wussten, was uns erwartet, und da wir zuvor noch nie peruanisch gegessen hatten, waren wir umso gespannter. Was sollen wir sagen: Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und sehr authentisch. Besonders schön fanden wir das Konzept, mehrere Gerichte und Portionen in die Mitte des Tisches zu stellen. So konnten wir gemeinsam probieren, teilen und eine große Vielfalt der peruanischen Küche kennenlernen. Der reich gedeckte Tisch mit den vielen verschiedenen Speisen hat nicht nur geschmacklich, sondern auch atmosphärisch unglaublich viel hergemacht und für eine tolle, lebendige Stimmung gesorgt. Auch die Getränke haben überzeugt – der Pisco Sour war hervorragend und definitiv ein Highlight für sich. Von Anfang an haben wir uns im Restaurant sehr willkommen gefühlt. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Besonders positiv in Erinnerung geblieben ist uns auch die Inhaberin selbst, die persönlich an unseren Tisch kam, uns begrüßt hat und sich erkundigte, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Dass sie unsere Freundin, die bereits zwei- bis dreimal dort war, direkt wiedererkannt hat, empfanden wir als sehr aufmerksam und persönlich. Für uns war dieses erste peruanische Essen eine wunderschöne Premiere, die uns absolut begeistert hat. Ein rundum gelungener Abend mit großartigem Essen, herzlicher Atmosphäre und viel Liebe zum Detail. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. ✨

Wir besuchten die Bodega Lima zu dritt und hatten insgesamt ein durchwachsenes Erlebnis, das an diesem Abend leider nicht dem Preisniveau entsprach. Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber nicht mehr. Positiv hervorzuheben ist das sehr gute Ceviche. Die warmen Hauptgerichte konnten uns jedoch nicht überzeugen: Sie waren eher mild gewürzt, viele Komponenten wirkten recht matschig und insgesamt fehlte es an Qualität und Innovation. Es wurde viel Wert darauf gelegt, bestimmte Kochtechniken zu erklären (zum Beispiel das sehr lange Garen bei niedriger Temperatur), aber das Ergebnis war kaum wahrnehmbar – beispielsweise war der Schweinebauch nicht besonders zart. Die Desserts hingegen waren sehr gut. Das Ambiente ist sehr einfach, aber im Allgemeinen angenehm. Die Pisco Sours schmeckten gut, waren aber insgesamt recht klein. Der Service wirkte an diesem Abend unaufmerksam und etwas hektisch – was natürlich situationsbedingt gewesen sein mag. Was uns letztendlich überzeugt hat, war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir teilten uns drei kalte und drei warme Gerichte (allesamt relativ kleine Portionen), dazu zwei Desserts und zwei Pisco Sours. Die Rechnung belief sich auf etwa 100 € pro Person. Angesichts der gebotenen Qualität erschien uns das deutlich überteuert und nicht gerechtfertigt. Vielleicht hatten wir einfach Pech – so etwas kann vorkommen. Zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt würden wir das Restaurant jedoch nicht empfehlen und hoffen, dass sich Qualität und Konstanz in Zukunft verbessern.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal in der Bodega Lima, und wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt. Der Service war sehr freundlich und hat uns sowohl das Konzept als auch verschiedene Gerichte der Speisekarte erläutert. Wir bestellten zu dritt 2 kalte und 3 warme Speisen aus der kleinen aber feinen Speisekarte. Das Ambiente war einfach aber nett gehalten. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen ist, dass es im Lokal relativ stark nach Fett riecht, was der offenen Küche geschuldet sein dürfte, sodass Kleidung & Haare nach dem Besuch ziemlich stark und nicht sehr angenehm danach rochen. Geschmacklich haben uns die Papitas Huancaina voll überzeugt, und auch das Lomo Saltado und die Anticucho Callejero waren lecker. Die Mango Ceviche war schon sehr scharf, deutlich schärfer als erwartet (und für 2 von uns 3 leider zu scharf). Das Lomo Saltado wurde mit Pommes serviert, die leider nicht sehr knusprig waren und durch das Servieren in der Schale mit der Sauce komplett durchweicht sind - hier wäre ein anderer Teller oder ein separates Schälchen sinnvoller gewesen. Das Fleisch war jedoch herrlich zart, wirklich lecker! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis fand ich durchwachsen, für die sehr übersichtliche Portion Mango Ceviche (vegan) finde ich 19,50 € deutlich überzogen, die Portion Papitas Huancaina war mit 15,- € auch nicht günstig, aber die Portion dafür recht üppig. Das Lomo Saltado wäre preislich ok, wenn die Pommes knusprig gewesen wären. Zu den Veggie-Spießen (Anticucho Callejero) für 17,50 € wäre eine kleine Beilage wie ein paar Platanas oder eine Kugel Reis für den Preis noch wünschenswert gewesen. Zusammenfassend würde ich sagen, der Service war wirklich sehr freundlich, das Essen authentisch und größtenteils sehr lecker, wenn auch stellenweise etwas zu teuer für die Portionsgröße, Ambiente / Geruch sind noch etwas ausbaufähig.

Speisen alle hervorragend und lecker. Für alle die gerne mal etwas anderes ausprobieren.

Aus der (recht mageren) Auswahl, haben wir zwei Hauptgerichte bestellt. Mein Blumenkohl war gut zubereitet und hat super geschmeckt! Um das volle kulinarische Erlebnis zu haben, bestellten wir auch die von Haus aus empfohlene Vorspeise - übrigens die teuerste auf der Karte. Es wurde leider nicht erwähnt, dass die Vorspeise überaus scharf ist. Deshalb konnten wir sie nur kosten und mussten es dann stehen lassen. Ein Entgegenkommen gab es leider nicht. Deshalb reicht es nicht für einen zweiten Besuch.

Das Essen war MEGA! Uns wurde empfohlen, 2-3 Gerichte pro Person zu bestellen... aber um ehrlich zu sein, von den warmen Gerichten hätte (bei normalen Hunger) eins absolut ausgereicht. Von den kalten Gerichten, z.B. das Ceviche, könnte man locker zwei bis drei bestellen, da hier die Portionen schon sehr klein sind.

Went for dinner with two of my friends who never had Peruvian food before. I myself have lived in Peru and was happy to see this restaurant so close by our hotel. All three of us were simply blown away by the food, such beautiful presentation and what fantastic flavour!! We had the ceviche, causa veggie, anticucho veggie (which we ordered twice) and the coliflor, all delicious. Pisco’s were great too. Would absolutely recommend and visit again!

Wow…. We popped in for a Pisco Sour & shared a Cerviche Mixto Verde ❤️❤️ so excited, we cancelled our other rest for the next night & returned. We were truly not disappointed. For us as Australians living in Germany for 5 years, this is the absolutely best food we have eaten in Germany. The flavour profiles, produce, heart of this delicious Peruvian food is clear. We ate the vibrant Cerviche again, the Polpo was earthy goodness, Pork Belly absolutely is s must, cooked for 48 hrs 🙏 & the lomo Saltado was just the perfect finish. Alec crafted a delicious but now sweet Macchu Piccu dessert. The lovely owner Monica started this business from her home kitchen cooking 45 covers x 2 times per night. 3 years since opening Bodega Lima & now has the lovely & talented Alec cheffing, & a special thank you to gorgeous Aniko 💓for your great wait service & enthusiastic welcome. Thank you all … We are planning our trip back to Hamburg now for 2026 & will be back to Bodega Lima. Thank you for what you give to the food scene in Hamburg. 🙏 Pisco Sours are also authentically excellent. Cannot even imagine why this amazingly good restaurant is not on a Michelin list….

Delicious Peruvian food in a sharing style. Highly recommended: the pork belly, the octopus, all the cevi ever, basically everything! And a very nice hostess who's traveled the world quite a bit...

I was absolutely blown away by the flavors and textures of the delicious food at bodega Lima. The dishes are best enjoyed family style/shared because you will want to try everything on the table. Would especially recommend the chicharrón chalaco - the fluffiest and most tender pork belly cooked to perfection - and the papitas huancaina - they should bottle this spicy, cheesy sauce for sale, it’s addictive! As for the wine selection, although the Peruvian tinto was sold out during our visit, the Chilean tinto was an excellent choice - sweet but bold and jammy. I found the prices to be surprisingly high for each of the dishes, however based on the quality of the ingredients and the impressive tastes, I can fully justify it. Hoping this newer bodega will become a staple in Hamburg. Impresionante!

Went their twice. Once during lunch and once during dinner. Lunch was some kind of a stew and it was delicious and very fair priced. Went again the next time we were at Hamburg. This time for dinner and it was different but in a good way. The food was more sophisticated and tasted incredible. Highly recommend

I came here because of a discount through "The Fork." The food is quite decent, but the prices are, in my opinion, excessive. Added to that is the owner, who is a bit too present and doesn't really accept criticism—instead, she tries to explain the concept or the dishes. Unfortunately, we didn't feel particularly comfortable here. Edit: Yes, we did come on March 20, 2024, at 7:30 PM with a 50% discount offer. The restaurant's passive-aggressive response only confirms my previous point.

Very exciting and interesting place

i was there today for the very first time, even though the place wasn't full the waitresses took their time to take our orders which was kinda odd. The restaurant itself is precious and is located in a very chill and central area in Hamburg. The food was delicious but unfortunately the portions are ridiculously small, the chicha morada (national Peruvian drink) had way too much lime juice. You can't add the "tapas" concept to the Peruvian Cousine, it just doesn't work, if you're a tourist and want to try Peruvian food for the first time then this is the right place because the food flavours are "rescaled" for the European palate, but me as a Peruvian i would NEVER recommend it.

The food is very good, authentic, and specially prepared. I ordered the mixed ceviche for €22, a lomo saltado for €28.50, and a veggie anticucho for €17.50. All three dishes had a unique flavor, and you can tell the preparation is professional. I also recommend the passion fruit pisco for €12. However, it's important to keep in mind that to eat well, you'd have to spend between €50 and €60 instead of the €20 to €30 indicated in the review. I think this should be clearly stated to avoid false expectations about the quality-quantity ratio and price.

Amazing place to have authentic Peruvian food. Went with a Peruvian friend that enjoyed every dish as well as we did, recommend 100%. The servers were attentive and very polite, looking forward to my next meal here!

I liked the food a lot, but it is extremely expensive for such a small portion, really a pity unfortunately. I went to Peru for a trip and the portions were enormous. I know we are in Germany and that’s life, but such a pity cause the food war really really good.

Eigentlich eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants. Gestern allerdings waren wir nicht so happy. Die Portionen werden immer kleiner & dann fühlten wir uns auch relativ schnell „rausgeworfen“. Obwohl noch einige Tische besetzt waren, wurde um uns rum saubergemacht etc. Für den Preis sind wir leider etwas unzufrieden rausgegangen:(

I do not get some of the bad reviews: the food was incredible, my girlfriend had recently been to Peru and fell in love with Nikkei cuisine - she fully approved of the flavors and combinations. Staff was friendly and the furniture is clearly meant to add to the casual, living-room like vibe - which it does perfectly. As for the price, it’s very well communicated that portions are sharing sizes and 2 pp are recommended. If you want high quality food, you will have to pay for it - go somewhere else if not. We are very excited to return soon.

This place is an absolute gem: -the atmosphere and homeyness is absolutely inviting -the service is beyond friendly, funny and attentive -and the food... If you ever want to eat mushroom ceviche that somehow outshines the most tender octopus and pork belly ever... Go here. Oh, and the deserts made my brothers who don't like sweet things absolutely devour them. Just saying.

The decor is somewhat rustic but cozy. The food was exceptionally good. A variety of aromas and flavors, and very attractively presented. As recommended, we ordered several dishes to share. This was great for trying as much as possible.

Place is great. Been here before. Will not disappoint. But be aware, this is not a low budget-restaurant. Ceviche Lima and Pulpo are extraordinary! The Chicharon did not have a crust like I know it from other parts of the world.

The service was good, the food was delicious, but the value for money is unfortunately not right. You could eat here for 60 euros alone and still not feel full. The portions are significantly smaller than the prices suggest. Edit: Unfortunately, I have no capacity for criticism. My Peruvian friend and I have eaten larger portions of ceviche for less money several times, and it tasted much more authentic. And the vegetarian dishes are expensive too. The manager's aggressive and incomplete argumentation should have shown you what you're dealing with here. More than embarrassing.

Fantastische Küche mit authentischer Bedienung in rustikalem und angemessen Ambiente

Das Essen schmeckte wirklich lecker. 7,50€ für eine Flasche Wasser, welche uns lieblos auf den Tisch gestellt wurde und wir uns diese alleine einschenken mussten allerdings nicht schön und sollte so nicht sein. Die Räumlichkeiten leider extrem laut, man versteht sein Wort kaum. Und ein großes Manko: die Klamotten riechen danach leider sehr nach Frittenfett. Das Lomo Soltado allerdings wirklich sehr lecker. Perfekter Garpunkt, sehr gut abgeschmeckt.

Wow! Comida increíble y anfitriones. Increíbles sabores y presentación, nuestros platos podrían haber sido en un restaurante con estrella Michelin. El pulpo, el vientre de cerdo y Causa Pollo fueron increíbles. Recomiendo a fondo.

Despite the limited menu, this Peruvian restaurant has very strong points (the ceviche and the causa stuffed have nothing to envy of other Peruvian restaurants in Madrid). However, it was a big surprise to learn that they do not sell Peruvian beer.

We’ve eaten here five times so far and will definitely come again. Really delicious food, different to anything we’ve had before. The tapas style is much more fun when eating with friends. Love the pisco sour cocktails too. The lovely lady who runs the place always stops by to check everything is okay with the order and to explain things or just have a brief friendly chat. We are locals and highly recommend! The prices are quite high but it’s really worth it in our opinion The cauliflower and beetroot dishes are amazing and recommended

Vorweg: das Essen war ausgezeichnet! Aber: wir hatten den Tisch an einem Samst ag Abend für 21h00 bestellt. Bereits um 22h00 kam die Bedienung an unseren Tisch (wir hatten gerade den letzten Bissen der Hauptspeise gegessen) und forderte uns auf, zu zahlen und das Restaurant zu verlassen, „weil wir jetzt schließen“. Keine Chance auf ein Dessert oder einen Café! Und das an einem Samstag Abend?! Also wenn ich eine Tischreservierung für 21h00 akzeptiere kann ich nicht, bereits um 22h00 die Gäste auffordern zu gehen. Nein, das geht gar nicht und hat uns sozusagen den ganzen Abend verdorben. Es ist ja immer der letzte Eindruck, der langfristig hängen bleibt. Schade eigentlich!

What a lovely discovery in Hamburg! Great food, amazing flavours, kind service, cozy vibes and a great option for meat eaters and vegetarians alike (no one will be missing out😌). The owner is such a nice person, explained every dish on the menu throughly and gave great suggestions. Overall top experience 💜 Must try: Ceviche Tradicional, Papitas a la Huancaina, Pescado a la Chorrillana and Anticucho Callejero.

It's a shame I can only give one star. The food itself was very tasty, but on the menu they're listed as main courses (and even main courses are very expensive), but in the end they're a kind of tapas; you're not satisfied with just one dish. You'd have to order two dishes and pay €35-€50 for one person just to eat! You pay prices like you'd pay in a luxury restaurant, but the atmosphere is very family-friendly and simple (which is fine, but why luxury prices?). The boss wants to sell a lot and almost pressures you to buy more things. The chicha morada costs almost €7!!! I'd like to go back, but only if the prices go down or the dishes get bigger ;) We ordered one dish and then bought more food on the street because we were still hungry!

Disappointing Experience – Never Again! I've rarely had such a bad experience in a restaurant as I did at Bodega Lima. We had high expectations, but were completely disappointed. Ambience – Untidy and Noisy Upon entering, it was immediately apparent that the restaurant wasn't particularly inviting. The decor was carelessly arranged, and the tables were far too close together, leaving us with barely any room. It was also incredibly loud – not just from the guests, but also from the staff, who were chatting loudly and clattering plates. The atmosphere was definitely not pleasant. Service – Unfriendly and Slow We had to wait forever before anyone even noticed us. When a waitress finally came, she was rude and seemed as if she would rather ignore us. Questions about the menu were answered with an annoyed tone, and it took far too long for our order to be taken. Drinks didn't arrive for 20 minutes – and that was only because we asked several times. Food – A Disaster The menu sounded promising, but what was served was a disgrace. My starter was cold and tasted bland, the main course arrived after over an hour (!) and was inedible. The meat was dry, and the side dishes were carelessly slapped onto the plate. My companion ordered pasta that was completely overcooked and swimming in a watery sauce. Absolutely disappointing! Hygiene – Questionable One look in the restroom was the last straw for me: dirty sinks, no toilet paper, and an unpleasant smell. If it looks like that in there, I don't even want to know what the kitchen looks like. Value for Money – A Disgrace The prices are absolutely unjustified for what's offered here. Far too expensive for inferior quality and poor service. Conclusion – Never Again! I will definitely not visit this restaurant again. Bad service, lousy food, unsanitary conditions – a complete disappointment! I can only advise everyone not to spend their money here.

Einfach sehr leckeres Essen, es mag nicht ganz günstig sein aber es ist sein Geld wert. Sehr liebe Chefin die die Gerichte auf Nachfrage gerne erklärt und Empfehlungen gibt. Immer wieder würde ich dort hingehen

Es war ein toller Abend. Die Beratung war super. Alles wurde super erklärt,worum es sich handelt und über die Zubereitung.Man stellt sein Essen aus mehreren Teilen der Karte zusammen und kann es dann am Tisch so zusammenatellen und essen wie man möchte. Alles war top vom Geschmack aber auch von der Optik. Das Bodega Lima ist wirklich sehr empfehlenswert. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall noch mal wieder.

Uns hat der Abend gut gefallen. Eine kleine übersichtliche Karre. Die Einzelnen Komponenten der Gerichte werden einem vor der Bestellung erklärt, das bei der Auswahl hilft. Geschmacklich hat es uns sehr gut gefallen, ob es und wie authentisch es ist können wir nicht beurteilen. Die Gerichte sind mit frischen Komponenten zubereitet und liebevoll angerichtet. Preislich schon etwas gehoben jedoch voll im Rahmen. Gerne wieder!

Fantastic experience! The food was excellent, with perfectly balanced flavors and textures in every dish. The Pulpo and meat were incredibly tender and flavorful. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who passionately shared the story behind the restaurant and her vision. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be back!

Super tasty and great quality, unfortunately some of the dishes have become 1/4 more expensive and the large draft beer for €7 is more expensive than at Oktoberfest. We won't be able to come as often anymore, which is a shame.

I haven't had such a delicious meal with fantastic flavors in a long time. Thank you very much, dear Monica & team, for the incredibly delicious dishes that you prepared entirely plant-based. It was fireworks on my palate. I would order every single dish exactly the same again. A great evening, with great people, brilliant food and at the same time a little trip to Peru. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

We got a table in the basement with the sewage pipes running along the wall next to us. The individual rations tasted good but were expensive and they cannot replace a complete menu. If you can, it's better to eat a curry sausage somewhere else beforehand to stave off hunger. The boss said that Peruvian cuisine is number one in the world - a view that I, as a well-traveled globetrotter, do not share. Conclusion: you can go there, but it's not worth the money!

We were there on New Year's Eve. The staff and the owner were very friendly and the room was authentically furnished. The menu is small but completely sufficient. The prices are not low but it is also a small experience to eat there and enjoy it. We had one cold dish and two warm dishes, which was completely sufficient for us (2 people). Conclusion: It was a very nice visit and the staff radiated a warmth that you no longer find in many restaurants.

I love this place! Very good quality, awesome combination of Latin America flavors!! I highly recommend to order one of the ceviches! It’s clear that the owner puts a lot of attention to the restaurant and this is reflected in the good service and guidance from the waiters.

Everything was excellent. Delicious food, accommodating service and an inviting atmosphere. We will definitely visit again.
