Special food for a lovely evening. And fantastic piscos...

Since I knew Perù has won the "World’s Best Culinary Destination" for the twelfth time, I was totally into it trying this unique cuisine everywhere and every time I could. My first time trying Peruvian cuisine in Hamburg was just the last Friday night at Ceviche, and my mind blown away because of this spectacular menu. A modern but respectful interpretation of the typical and traditional dishes as I never tasted before, everything in a quiet and elegant space, perfect for the hanseatic vibes of the city. But also the human aspect was great with a service always careful and with a smile. This was a unique experience tasting flavors from a culture so far from here, in a perfect context for HH. Gracia's Ceviche Bar! Great atmosphere and delicious modern Peruvian cuisine

Excellent modern Peruvian cuisine with Japanese influences of the highest level. Every dish is a taste explosion of very well balanced flavors, perfectly prepared with high-quality, local ingredients. For me personally one of the best Peruvian restaurants in Germany! The selection of drinks is also varied, the cocktails in particular are absolutely great. There is also warm service here, just like in Peru itself. If you want to take a little culinary trip to this beautiful country, you can do so at any time in this restaurant!

Five of us were there on a Saturday, we definitely recommend a reservation. We enjoyed the food, but sometimes (depending on the dish) we didn't get full from the starter and main course. But it was quite expensive. The atmosphere was fine. Service was nice but there was a significant language barrier. However, the taste was something special!

I can only recommend that anyone who wants to try something more unusual than the Italian restaurant around the corner will find it here. Dishes that are unusual for Germany and that I have never seen before on this level. Simply authentic and good, thank you for a nice evening :)

The food is delicious, but unfortunately it takes *MORE THAN 1 HOUR* to arrive. I was there 3 times, and it was always the same. I really cannot understand... Unfortunately I will not come back...

Very tasty cocktails, unfortunately we weren't impressed with the food.

It was a taste explosion! Wow, the food tasted sensational and was beautifully prepared. Everything was well explained to us by a very friendly service.

The location is comfortably furnished and some of the items can even be purchased as gifts/souvenirs. In the Ceviche bar, Peruvian cuisine is interpreted in a modern way and combined with Japanese cuisine / Nikkei. The presentation of all the dishes was not only beautiful but also extremely delicious. We both really enjoyed all the dishes. We were particularly impressed by “Mar Verde”. The service was also very warm and attentive.

The food was very, very fine, harmonious and special! The service was outstanding, I had made a reservation and was personally addressed by name and said goodbye. I felt very comfortable and ate really well.

Jede Speise und jedes Getränk waren einfach rundum gut. Frische Zutaten und excellent gewürzt, da muss man einfach mal vielen Dank sagen. Dazu auch qualitativ und geschmacklich sehr gute Cocktails, serviert von einem herzlichen Team. Klasse!

The food was really tasty and the service staff was friendly. Unfortunately, there were some organizational difficulties that somewhat spoiled the overall impression. We had to wait a very long time for our order to be taken and the order of the dishes was mixed up: the cold starters came after the warm main courses, even though we ordered the other way around. Such mistakes can of course happen, but it would have been nice if the waitress had acknowledged this beforehand instead of just reacting to our request... that was a bit of a shame for the price range. As I said, the food was very tasty, only the nacho chips weren't that special for the price and I wouldn't order them again.

Yesterday I spent a long time researching where in Hamburg we should go out to eat at the end of our trip to Lower Saxony, there are a lot of good locations in Hamburg. The choice fell on a Peruvian restaurant, we thought: try something new. And folks, we were not disappointed! It was delicious, fresh, extraordinary, playful, traditional. Peru meets Asia, fusion elements, great! The hostess and owner was so sweet and kind, very open-minded and easy to chat with, which made it so pleasant and familiar. Please do not change anything about your concept or products. We'll definitely be back!

Für einen gemeinsamen Abend mit Freunden hatten wir unseren Tisch schon Tage vorher reserviert. Das Ambiente ist schön und die Bedienung war gut. Das Essen und die Getränke waren teuer, aber bis auf eine der recht knapp bemessenen Speisen auch wirklich lecker. Als wir zu viert durch unsere Bestellungen bereits einen Umsatz von etwa €240,00 erreicht und gerade das Dessert bestellt hatten, wurden wir darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass uns der Tisch nur für 2 Stunden zustünde. (Dies sei angeblich bei der Onlinereservierung ersichtlich gewesen). Das Ganze wurde zu einer sehr unangenehmen Situation. Wir haben unser Dessert in entsprechender Stimmung gegessen, während offensichtlich ein anderes Paar gehen musste ist, dem unser Tisch schon zugestanden hätte. In einem hochpreisigen Restaurant möchte ich mich nicht innerhalb einer begrenzten Zeit satt essen können, sondern erwarte ich mein Essen in Ruhe mit Espresso etc. und einem guten Gespräch ausklingen lassen zu können. Eine sehr unschöne Erfahrung für viel Geld!

Overall, a nice experience to get to know this type of cuisine at the Ceviche Bar. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The dishes prepared were all very tasty. Only the cheesecake was frozen...which raised the question of whether it wasn't a good convenience product. However, it is of course our own fault if you choose such a dessert in a Peruvian restaurant, which is unlikely to be on the daily menu in that part of the world. Conclusion: It's worth visiting!

Wir - 2 Paare - verbrachten einen grandiosen Abend in der Ceviche Bar: Saßen bequem im Innenraum, aßen und tranken vorzüglich (u.a. Ceviche clasico, Octopus und viele Pisco Sour) und freuten uns über einen unaufdringlichen, aber äußerst aufmerksamen und zuvorkommenden Service.

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time, and the impressions were the warmest. The atmosphere here is simply wonderful - ideal for privacy and a romantic dinner. Everything is conducive to enjoying the evening in peace and quiet. The cocktails deserve special attention—exquisite, with original flavors, as do the dishes, which were a pleasant surprise. The food is beyond praise: all the ingredients are fresh and the presentation is aesthetically pleasing. We had an amazing evening and will definitely be back again!

Great Peruvian cuisine. The food tasted great with high quality products. The portions are rather small, so it's a good idea to order a side dish. The ceviche in the main course is very tasty and authentic, with a little too much acidity for my taste. Of course, the many cocktails based on Pisco are also worth highlighting. You could spend an evening here just for that. The service is super friendly and accommodating. We had no wait times on a Saturday evening.

It's great what you can do with the ingredients

Ich war schon öfter hier in größerer Runde, heute mal spontan allein nach einem stressigen Arbeitstag. Ambiente, Service, Essen: alles perfekt. Das Essen von der Tageskarte ( ich habe mir leider den Namen nicht gemerkt) aus frischen Zutaten zubereitet, geschmackvoll arrangiert. Als highlight ein köstlicher alkoholfreier Cocktail. Ich verließ das Restaurant gut gelaunt, entspannt und satt. Werde bestimmt bald wieder hier sein mit Familie und Freunden.

This restaurant has become one of my favorites in Hamburg. The food is amazing. Ceviche? Wow! Aji? Buf! Octopus? Oh my! And on top of it, the service is very good. They are all super kind! Worth the last dime, really!

We really wanted to eat ceviche during our visit to Hamburg and came across the ceviche bar during our research. And all I can say is – everything was done right. The ceviche (both the classic and the mixed version) is excellent; The fish quality is top and the taste is super balanced, not too spicy and not too sour. As a starter we had the nachos with guacamole - homemade, crispy and both very tasty - and the pulpo on mashed potatoes - this dish is probably one of the best starters I have ever eaten - a real joy as it tasted great and the consistency was flattering Tongue. And all the dishes were a feast for the eyes! The Pisco Sour was a fantastic accompaniment. The service was extremely professional, very friendly, available to provide advice at any time - what more could you wish for. We will definitely come back next time we are in Hamburg.

Basically a nice, small location on the quiet Löwenstrasse, where you can sit well inside and outside. Surprisingly well attended, which can't be due to the food or the service. The ceviche dishes on offer are quite tasty, but the portions are more suitable for a moderate diet. If, like me, you prefer to go for the “catch of the day”, you will be hugely disappointed. Neither sophisticatedly seasoned nor presented in any special way, the question arises as to how the ambitious price is justified. The service is nice, but you should have a lot of time and patience. All in all, our visit there wasn't cheap, but unfortunately nothing special. Too bad.

Super cute atmosphere. The food was absolutely amazing. I really went in without much expectations. I hadn't eaten ceviche that often before. Funnily enough, I saw and tested it everywhere in Portugal and Spain. Nothing comes close to the Ceviche Classico at the Ceviche Bar. So I'm definitely addicted and keep coming back. Many thanks to the kitchen and the nice staff. 🧡🧡🧡

I do not share the rave reviews about the food and service. Expectations were not met. The service is bad, the waiter hardly responded to us. We waited for our order for over an hour. There was no cola on the bar menu or anything to replace it with. Only some mint-pepper drinks. The food turned out to be very unpalatable. Cevichi sour. Sea food with a strange taste. Moreover, for such money the portion is extremely small. I would never come again.

Great restaurant with very high quality products. The different ceviche were a poem, as were all the other dishes we ordered. The Peruvian wine goes wonderfully with it. The service was also very friendly and helpful. This is exactly how a restaurant should be, which is why 10/10 stars. We had a great evening in the Ceviche Bar and would love to come back.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary in the Ceviche Bar and overall we were very satisfied. First of all, we ordered Yuquitas fritas huancaina and avocado. These are very tasty, but the price is definitely too high. I ordered a ceviche with rocoto as a main course, my daughter ate the ceviche clasico. Both ceviche were incredibly delicious! My husband ordered the lomo saltado and thought it was ok. He would have preferred fries instead of roasted potatoes, but that was still fine. What we both didn't like was the carrot pieces in the dish. A little less sauce would also have been nice, as it seemed a bit like a fusion of lomo saltado and goulash. For dessert there was suspiro lemeña, also very tasty. Our evening was accompanied by pisco sour and chicha morada. Overall it was a nice visit to the restaurant with very nice service. Half a star deducted good bread for the carrots in the lomo and the prices are a bit too high for the small portions. We would still come back for a special occasion.

We were there yesterday, the food is pretty good, but with the service we were very disappointed! We had to wait 40 minutes between courses, we asked for drinks and they didn't bring them to us, the dessert we wanted was supposed to be available 15 minutes later and they told us no... a shame!

Es war leider durchweg eine Enttäuschung. Wir wohnen in der Nachbarschaft und wollten dieses Restaurant ausprobieren und erlebten den Abend leider nicht wie erhofft. Neben dem etwas chaotischen Service, mussten wir schon 1,5h auf die Vorspeise warten. Trotz mehrmaliger Nachfrage, sowohl beim Kellner als auch bei der Inhaberin. Dennoch hat es nochmals über 1h gedauert, bis unsere Hauptgerichte kamen. Fazit hier: für 29-30€ waren die Portionen viel viel zu klein und leider auch geschmacklich nicht akzeptabel, der „Fang des Tages“ hat gemüffelt. Die Inhaberin hat sich leider wenig einsichtig gezeigt und versucht die Schuld ihrem Mitarbeiter zu geben, der seinen ersten Arbeitstag hatte. Insgesamt leider unter keinem Gesichtspunkt zu empfehlen.

Das Essen war bei mir zu scharf, bei meiner Frau, die das gleiche bestellt hatte, nicht. Für den Preis(29 €) waren die Portionen unangemessen klein. Die Bedienung wollte kurz nach der Geetränkeaufnahme die Speisekarten wieder einsammeln. Bei der Bestellung des Essens schließlich wwwurde ich angesprochen: "... und was möchte der junge Mann?" Ich sagte, dass ich kein junger Mann sei. Trotzdem wurde ich später noch einmal so angesprochen (ich bin über 70). Das Essen kam nach über einer Stunde, nachdem wir nachgefragt hatten.

World class “World class” is a big word, I know. However, as the partner of a woman who grew up in Peru, I have gotten to know Peruvian restaurants on many continents. The Ceviche Bar is one of the best I have ever encountered. The ceviche (classic or green), the pulpo or the yuquitas are of the highest quality, as is the obligatory pisco sour (which many bars simply can't do). The restaurant and the website seem very modest - but the food and service are great! Highly recommended.

It was delicious, really outstanding. However, the prices are ridiculously high. Small dishes for 30$ each is simply too much.

Wir waren zum Abendessen an einem Sonntag hier, das Restaurant war gut besucht Pro : - interessant Karte mit Gerichten die man eher selten in Hamburg erhält (Ceviche & Manjok frittiert) - nette Bedienung - schöner Aussenbereich - Ceviche war lecker Kontra : - schon sehr teuer, Ceviche 30 € mit ca. 150 gramm Fisch. Unser 2 tes Gericht mit 20 € Fleisch und sonst nur Kartoffeln und Zwiebeln 25 € ..... - Bedienung leider etwas überfordert, für 2 Gänge insgesamt 2 Stunden gebraucht ... Aufgrund der hohen Preise würden wir nicht wieder herkommen, da müsste mehr geboten werden.

We looked forward to the visit for more than half a year and were not disappointed. The food was great, the furnishings and decoration were very attractive and the service was also good. With ceviche as a starter and a main course, we were both comfortably full and the pisco sour is highly recommended.

Great CEVICHE with great ambience and warmth

Unfortunately, absolutely disproportionate! First of all, the dishes generally tasted very good and still offer a certain exclusivity in Hamburg, although I found it slightly too sour even for ceviche due to the generous amount of sauce. However, the very small portion sizes of a main course do not justify the prices charged. There are certainly no special moon prices for this restaurant when shopping at the market. I also asked whether I should perhaps order additional side dishes. This was clearly denied on the grounds that we still had a cause as a starter, which was only suitable for trying. For me this is also a question of service, after a main course you should be full according to the name. I didn't really feel the overwhelming friendliness of the lady of the house, which isn't crucial, but despite having a reservation we had to wait quite a long time outside and then between the starter and the main course, considering that the ceviche doesn't require a lot of preparation time and the number of guests is manageable is. In any case, we didn't leave fully satisfied, but we did deposit almost €100. With this price constellation, you could have included a portion of rice with the main course, for example, the costs for this are marginal and the guest goes home much more satisfied. Then just a kebab afterwards... Even though I love ceviche so much. But unfortunately no longer here, but rather authentically again on the Pacific coast. Regarding the ambience, it should be mentioned that the restaurant does not stand out in any way, there is a standard interior and the toilet situation directly in the hallway to the kitchen is also rather unfortunate. The lighting is generally too dark. I like to see what I have on my plate and how I wash my hands. Unfortunately, I can't even begin to share the overall assessment so far and it probably has to be justified by the typical Eppendorf decadence. Too bad!

It was a very nice evening and one of the best ceviche I have eaten in Germany. Everything was homemade, the nachos arrived at the table steaming with the fantastic guacamole. The Pisco sour is also highly recommended. The service was great and there was really nothing to complain about. The quality is worth the price. We'll definitely be back. 🫶🏽

Very hospitable staff, first class service! divine desserts! cozy for a few cocktails or dinner. I can definitely recommend it! Finally a higher quality Peruvian restaurant in Hamburg. We ate there twice, both times everything was great. Ceviche, Lomo Saltado, the Chicken, Maracuya Pisco, all very tasty and the main courses are really good portions. The mint tea doesn't come as a small coffee cup either, where you'll be negatively surprised in some restaurants. Service is always very nice :)

Well then! The food was relatively ok. The unbeatable Lima causa, definitely delicious, creamy, balanced, beautiful. Rocoto ceviche was also delicious, I simply lacked a little more sweet potato on the plate, considering that the protein was generous, having 3 pieces of sweet potato was somewhat sad. To close, I ordered one of my favorite and Peruvian classics: lomo saltado, triste sad sad. 4 pieces of meat, white potato that was not cooked, more vegetables than everything else and eating on this plate was somewhat uncomfortable, I couldn't use the cutlery, I had to eat with a spoon :/. It wasn't a bad experience, just some small details that would even make it better. :)

Ceviche is great. Service is weird. Portion sizes are way too small. After two courses, I went to another restaurant for more. Update after second attempt: This time it took over 100 minutes for our main courses to arrive. Some of my meat was raw. When sending feedback to restaurant, I received a rude response.

Great little restaurant! We were only there for a few drinks in the evening and were warmly welcomed and served. The drinks were all great and the Peruvian purple corn drink in particular was really tasty! 🍹 Next time we would love to come over for dinner.

El ambiente muy bueno y el servicio de primera. Trato cordial y la decoración del lugar excelente. Lo que no nos gustó fue la comida: al ceviche le habían puesto unas gotas de aceite que daban mal sabor, y el pescado estaba salado. La causa a la limeña tampoco nos sorprendió la verdad.
