We ordered from home. The food came 30 minutes late. In addition, some of the sushi was very bad. We ordered a salmon roll, what came was the black skin of the salmon with scales...

This restaurant is just incredibly good!😍 The atmosphere: The atmosphere is very, very cozy and nice. It is also festively decorated. Employees: The employees are super friendly, patient and helpful. Food: The food was just a dream! Very high quality, fresh and delicious ingredients. The chefs are very good at making sushi. The food was also specially served. We got platters as plates and a large wooden plate with the sushi on it. Prices: the prices were quite good for the fact that we finally ate fresh sushi. In Rewe 8 sushi costs exactly the same as at Yaki Sushi 18. So very reasonable price. The other difference is that you get the sushi fresh in Yaki Sushi. Quick summary: Everything exceeded our expectations. Very recommended.

Don't let the location and the somewhat unsightly view of the main street put you off. What awaits you in the restaurant is first-class sushi! There are several ways to put together your sushi or you can choose one of the delicious sushi menus. If you don't like sushi, you won't starve; there are curries, summer rolls and soups, for example. There's nothing to complain about in terms of price either. Reservations are recommended as the store is not that big.

I don't often write reviews but my nine year old insisted on it. His words...that fried sushi was excellent and what they call magic(dry ice) was very impressive. My husband and I enjoyed it every time too. We've been there several times now and we're trying our way through the menu. My husband really liked the sushi and I liked the salmon bowl best. Everything is beautifully presented or, as my son likes to say, everything is fancy. We always left feeling full.

That was so delicious! I've only recently become a sushi fan, and now I'm a "Yaki Sushi" fan too! We had a variety of nigiri and maki delivered and were not disappointed. It was very quick, everything was freshly prepared and tasted extremely delicious. We will definitely eat/order here again!

I come from the corner of Cologne/Bonn, but I often visit Bremen. The meal at Yaki Sushi is always planned and an absolute highlight. It tastes fantastic, the service is excellent, the restaurant is cozy. Delivery or collection is also on time, the packaging is great and the food always arrives fresh and warm.

Very special atmosphere, a bit kitsch, music from the charts, too chill, with beats that I wouldn't expect here, but... The sushi is super delicious, accompanied by an Asahi beer, perfect!!! The staff is friendly and very helpful. I have rarely eaten such delicious sushi. Highly Recommended!

Inconspicuous from the outside, but warm and traditionally furnished from the inside. Family run and very warm. From reception to service, we felt very well looked after. The food was great and very nicely prepared. Found it by chance on a city trip and would love to come back any time. Absolute recommendation. Thank you!

Eating out - ambience cannot be rated. The sushi generally didn't taste very fresh. The salmon nigiri was dry around the edges and chewy, the slices cut unevenly. There was a bone in the fish in one of the rolls. It can happen, but it's never happened to me with sushi... The whole thing was simply too expensive for that. I know much better sushi in Bremen. The service was friendly.

An incredibly good restaurant. Very nice atmosphere, you sit very comfortably, sometimes with a view of the chefs, who you can watch while they are preparing. The staff is very courteous and friendly, and also helps non-experts with explanations of what is contained in the respective dish. I haven't had sushi here yet because it's too expensive for me, but it always looks incredibly tasty. I'll do it again at some point. What I can highly recommend are the ramen noodles in all possible variations. Whether with pork, beef or prawns, the noodle soup is excellent. The portions are large and the price is also reasonable. The rice dishes are also highly recommended. It is also important to know that you should make a reservation here if you come here in the evening. On weekends anyway, but also during the week, the hut is regularly full here. It's great that there are restaurants like this in Bremen!

The record for two was just awesome! You really get more than full and get a good insight into what's on offer. One more service staff wouldn't have been bad, but maybe it was just that evening. Otherwise the service was very friendly and tried very hard. You can even watch it being prepared. It was exciting to see how well-coordinated the two chefs are and how they work so quickly in a small space. We will definitely be back and would be happy to recommend it!

Yaki Sushi offers a delicious and beautifully presented sushi experience! I especially loved the lachs avocado temaki, with its fresh salmon and avocado. The tokio roll with unagi was another highlight - the unagi was perfectly flavorful. The deluxe rolls were a feast for the eyes and the taste buds - generous portions and creative combinations. I truly recommend this Sushi Restaurant in Bremen!

Im Bremer Ortsteil Ostertor ist das Angebot an asiatischen Einkehradressen groß. Die indonesischen Frühlingsrollen des „Surajaya Tabo“ genießen einen guten Ruf und das „ANI House“ gilt als vietnamesische Institution in Sachen Bao-Burger. Im „Ori Ori“ soll es angeblich die beste Ramen von Bremen geben und über das „Tokyo Streets“ habe ich gerade erst berichtet. Dort wo sich die Schwachhauser Heerstraße und die Bismarckstraße treffen, befindet das Yaki Sushi, ein von außen recht unscheinbarer „Japaner“, der mit sehr guten Bewertungen im Internet aufhorchen ließ. Man arbeitet hier gerne mit flüssigem Stickstoff, was mir prinzipiell zu „nebulös“ ist, aber die Geschmäcker sind da natürlich verschieden. Zumindest scheint man sich sehr viel Mühe beim Aufbau der abwechslungsreichen Sushi-Platten zu geben, wie die Bilder im Netz beweisen. Also raus aus dem Bremer Nieselregen und rein in das gut besuchte Sushi-Lokal, das mich mit roten und weißen Lampions und einem Urwald aus Kunstblumen in der Fensterfront fast schon überfolkloristisch willkommen hieß. Drinnen war es dank angenehmer Beleuchtung dann doch nicht ganz so ungemütlich wie befürchtet. Aber die vielen Plastikgewächse hätten nun wirklich nicht sein müssen. Nun gut, ich wurde trotz der trubeligen Atmosphäre recht schnell von der wuselnden Servicebrigade wahrgenommen und an den letzten freien Bistrotisch verfrachtet. Der stand recht eng zu seinen Nachbarn, was mir aber in dem Moment egal war. Hauptsache es saß sich hier warm und trocken. Zu meiner Linken erstreckte sich die lange, von Dekoplunder reich „verzierte“ Theke, an deren Ende der Sushi-Meister die rohen Fischpreziosen stoisch zubereitete. Die Speisenkarte lag bereits auf dem Tisch. Gleich auf der ersten Seite ein mutmachendes Zitat von Herrn Matsuhisa, dem Gründer der mehrfach besternten Restaurantkette „Nobu“. „Making sushi is an art and experience is everything.“ Ich fragte mich, ob da nicht jemand die Rohfischhäppchen zu hoch stapeln würde. Von hochwertigen Zutaten und dem in der japanischen Küche anscheinend so beliebten „Yaki-Stil“ war auch die Rede. Das erklärte zumindest den Namen des Lokals. Ich blätterte mich durch das nicht gerade schmale Rohfischkompendium, das auch ein paar knusprig frittierte Starter bereithielt. Vom eher mauen „Karaage-Erlebnis“ im „Tokyo Streets“ abgeschreckt, wählte ich nun die mit Garnelen und Lachs gefüllten Seafood-Gyoza (5,90 Euro), von denen mir nach angenehmer Wartezeit eine Handvoll serviert wurden. In die kleine Schale mit Sojasauce aus dem Kikkoman-Fläschchen getunkt, war das ein würzig-krosser Auftakt in Sachen Asia-Mauldäschle, deren saftiger Meeresinhalt vollends überzeugte. Dazu passte das kühle Asahi-Bier aus der Flasche (0,33l für 4,50 Euro) mit seiner weichen Maisnote ganz gut. Für eine in vier Teile geschnittene „Yaki Deluxe Roll“ war noch Platz. Für 7 Euronen wählte ich die mit Lachs und Avocado gefüllte und von flambiertem Thunfisch ummantelte „Burning Sakana Roll“, die leider mit zu viel eingedickter Teriyaki-Tunke und mayonnaisiger Sesamsauce verziert wurde. Avocado und Lachs starben den vorhersehbaren Saucen-Tod. Der leicht angeflämmte Thunfisch wehrte sich noch nach Meereskräften, ehe die Herren Gari und Wasabi mit Säure und Schärfe konterten und die von fluffig-körnigem Klebereis ummantelten „Schätze“ im Soja-See fachmännisch versenkt wurden. Trotz des Beinahe-Saucen-Overkills war das kein Rohfisch-Reinfall. Mit mehr Hunger im Gepäck hätte ich mir sicherlich noch ein paar zusätzliche „California Rolls“ gegönnt. Denn wie sang Schönling Ricky Martin 1999 in seiner Latin-Dance-Pop-Hymne: „Upside inside out – livin‘ la vida loca…“ - nicht nur beim Japaner in Bremen das richtige Motto!

Superb! Very good quality, visually very nicely presented. But the best thing is the ratio between rice and filling/fish. Here you can really taste the contents of the Maki, large and fresh. With nigiri, too, the ratio of rice to toppings is 50:50 and not, like elsewhere, a giant ball of rice with a thin topping. Conclusion: Fresh topping of the best quality and very good sushi rice. For me the best sushi in Bremen.

Sehr gute Qualität, optisch sehr schön präsentiert. Das beste ist aber das Verhältnis zwischen Reis und Füllung/Fisch. Hier schmeckt man im Maki wirklich den Inhalt, groß und frisch. Auch beim Nigiri ist das Verhältnis von Reis und Belag 50:50 und nicht wie anderswo ein Riesenball Reis mit einem dünnen Belag. Fazit: Frischer Belag in bester Qualität und sehr guter Sushireis. Für mich das beste Sushi in Bremen.

Unfortunately, the tables for two were in the middle of the room. They didn't have gluten-free soy sauce and there were gluten-free dishes on the menu that weren't gluten-free. The staff was very nice but unfortunately I had to ask several times to get wasabi. Otherwise the sushi tasted quite good.

At first I thought I had found an insider tip. But as crowded as it always is, it's probably no longer an insider tip. Relatively inconspicuous restaurant from the outside. Cozy on the inside, not too posh, but definitely cozy and original. The food is incredibly good. Excellent cocktails and homemade iced teas that are sensationally delicious. Plus incredibly good food. A wide selection of Asian dishes, not just sushi, although that is the focus. I've been there three times now and I'll definitely be there more often. Everything so far has been extremely good, very appetizingly prepared on the plate (which I find very important / no matter how good it tastes and is good, if it doesn't look good it's bad) and incredibly tasty. I find the service very friendly and accommodating.
