The service was abysmal, the concept desperately needs improvement, the tarte flambée was sparsely topped, dry, and overpriced! Never again!

The tarte flambées were large and very tasty. Unfortunately, we had to wait quite a while for one of them, and the drinks also took a long time. There was also a major problem with the bill. We paid as a couple, and three out of four bills were incorrect. An apology would have been appreciated. Otherwise, it's a cozy place and definitely recommendable. It's best to calculate the total bill beforehand...

...back here after a year, and twice with friends within a month! And the service—the food was just as good as a year ago—EXCELLENT! I can truly recommend the Gaston Flammkuchenhaus. Especially since we came early in the evening WITHOUT a reservation the second time, and even though the place was almost full, we received a very friendly welcome. After a quick "please wait," we were escorted to a table that had just become available and had been cleaned in the two minutes we waited! The 5 stars are truly deserved! Excellent service 😃 Huge selection of tarte flambée, and special requests are also catered for. We'll definitely be back.

We were a group of five and opted for the "all you can eat" option – a great decision! The tarte flambée selection is huge and diverse – from classic to international, to savory and sweet, there's everything. And the 13 tarte flambées we devoured were all incredibly delicious. We will definitely come back and try the other tarte flambées we didn't manage to finish last time!

The food is great, the staff is friendly, and you can also sit outside. Parking is a bit of an issue. There are paid parking spaces a little further on, and they're monitored. It's definitely worth the trip; we'll be back.

Delicious tarte flambée in the Überseestadt Bremen

A modern and cozy restaurant with delicious flammkuchen (tarte flambée). I was very impressed with the presentation, the toppings, the taste, and even the quantity of flammkuchen. There's a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options. The drinks are very well prepared. There's a diverse selection of homemade lemonades and iced teas, and of course, everything else you'd expect (lemonade, coffee, cocktails, wine, and beer). The service staff are very friendly and accommodating. I can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant.

This was my first time at Gaston, and I was absolutely thrilled. I had a tuna tarte flambée, and to present it like this... with onions, tuna (of course), peppers, and tomatoes in such vibrant colors, it was truly a joy to eat and enjoy. Thank you so much for this amazing quality on a tarte flambée.

One of our favorite restaurant. We have been here several times and each time we have been more than satisfied. We always took all you can eat, so you can try lots of tarte flambées and eat your fill. The staff is very nice and friendly. Large drinks menu, whether cocktails or wine, large selection of tarte flambées, there is something for everyone, whether with meat, vegetarian or vegan and the tarte flambées are incredibly tasty.

April 2024: A very nicely decorated restaurant, and the seating is very comfortable and a great place to spend some time. The menu actually only offers tarte flambée, and I have to say, they were perfectly baked. Exactly the right consistency: crispy, but still foldable. In terms of taste, we had very good tarte flambées, up to so-so. The four-cheese tarte flambée in particular was overloaded with cheese and lost its appeal after a few minutes. The apple-pear tarte flambée should have been flambéed, but that didn't really work and was instead laced with alcohol. Even for the very good tarte flambée, I can't really approve of the prices. To really fill you up, you need at least two tarte flambées. For larger groups, the all-you-can-eat offer might be worthwhile. Caution: There is a "smaller version" of tarte flambée for €2 less, but you only get half the size of a tarte flambée. Which is strange, because upon request, they couldn't make the tarte flambée half-and-half. This isn't a problem at other tarte flambée restaurants. So, the tarte flambée is certainly not bad, and it's a nice restaurant, but I wouldn't go there again; unfortunately, the price/performance ratio isn't right.

The all you can eat is mega! Absolutely recommended, tarte flambées are super tasty, super nice service, super relaxed atmosphere. If you want a relaxing evening, come along!

We made a reservation for the evening and wanted to go to Gaston's for an all-you-can-eat menu. Unfortunately, when we ordered, we were told that the kitchen was about to close and we couldn't have the special. If you accept reservations until 9 p.m., you should also keep the kitchen open until after 9 p.m. Our neighbor had the same experience.

Had dinner there with our knitting girls. The service was quick and friendly, the food came very quickly and was very good and the dessert was something different. The kitchen is open and you can also watch it being prepared.

Very nice shop, you immediately feel at home. We were thrilled with the tarte flambées. The Allyoucaneat for just under €25 per person is definitely worth it if you can eat more than 2 whole tarte flambées per person. The two of you share 1 tarte flambée in each round and can test your way through the map. We were thrilled! I just wish there were a few more appetizers.

Everything was great! We were there on Boxing Day and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The food was delicious, the service very friendly, and the ambiance was modern. The espresso tasted good, but only good. It was slightly over-extracted. I would adjust the grind a bit coarser. The cup was well preheated. All in all, we were very satisfied and can recommend this restaurant. See you next time.

The three of us went to Gaston Flammkuchen for all-you-can-eat tarte flambée. The price-performance ratio is great, the tarte flambées are delicious and there is also an attractive range of drinks. The location of Gaston Flammkuchen is also good, unfortunately the parking situation is a bit tense, but we found a parking space directly on the street behind the restaurant. If I'm in Bremen again, I would like to come back as a guest.

The food hasn't disappointed so far, there's a bit of a lack of seasoning every now and then, but nothing that couldn't be remedied with a little pepper and salt. Unfortunately, the service wasn't as great last time. We were there on a Sunday evening from 8 p.m., the number of guests was manageable and yet it was a struggle to get the waitresses' attention so that we could order more tarte flambées and drinks. Evil tongues would say: "you were ignored", but we don't want to accuse anyone of anything here. But it was annoying for us. Nevertheless, it was a nice evening with delicious food and the behavior of the employees was hopefully just an exception (because we didn't have this "problem" on previous visits).

Great service and atmosphere. We were 4 people and ordered 8 different types of Flammkuchen from the all you can eat. The quality and amount of ingredients were extremely poor and the flammkuchen dough appeared and tasted under cooked. It appears the oven used is not what a professional flammkuchen restaurant should utilise. I would not recommend this venue.

Unfortunately it didn't convince us. The tarte flambée was fresh and tasted quite good. But it was very carelessly made and wasn't in the oven long enough. (There were only 3 tables occupied. So there would have been enough time) The restaurant is nicely decorated but there is something missing there. An example: there are several boards for the tarte flambée and drink of the month but there was no corresponding recommendation. (The boards were blank). The price-performance ratio is therefore not suitable for us with tarte flambée for €15 and more.

Today every guest received a glass of champagne or orange juice on the house. Congratulations on your 2 year anniversary! Since we had never eaten tarte flambée before, we were very curious. We had the Alsatian leek, Hong Kong and the tarte flambée of the month “Teriyaki”. Every single tarte flambée was a real culinary delight. Thin, crispy base with plenty of toppings. The chicken and bacon are super tender, the vegetables are al dente and the spring onions are crunchy. The tarte flambées all came to the table at the same time, were hot and we didn't have to wait long for our tarte flambée to be able to enjoy them. My cocktail “Virgin Solero” was very tasty and refreshing with a slight hint of vanilla. For dessert there was a sweet tarte flambée “Oreo”. This one was with sweet cream, Oreo pieces, strawberries and a vanilla cream. The highlight of the evening and a successful conclusion. The ambience invites you to linger comfortably, simple but still timeless. The service was absolutely attentive, friendly and accommodating. The toilets very clean. For such excellent quality and freshness, the prices are completely justified. For us it will remain an unforgettable taste experience!

We had a lovely evening in a wonderful restaurant. Admittedly, it's not the most beautiful corner of Bremen, but the restaurant itself does its best to make you forget that. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was incredibly friendly and accommodating. You can either order individual dishes or all-you-can-eat. Good selection of drinks and dishes (mainly tarte flambée of course, but there are also salads). As for the drinks, we were really surprised by the large selection. Especially the cocktails. It's worth a visit just for that. A very good price-performance ratio. Also suitable for vegetarians and vegans. We are already planning our next visit.

After we had been to the Gaston in Oldenburg several times and were always very satisfied there, the four of us wanted to test the Gaston in Bremen today. Unfortunately, the stay did not meet our expectations. We ordered the "all you can eat" option. Unfortunately the waiting time for the first two tarte flambées was an hour. This may be fine with other restaurant concepts, but we expect a shorter waiting time when preparing a tarte flambée. We were also disappointed by the reaction of the staff after we raised our concerns. Instead of an apology or an offer to find a constructive solution, we were made aware that we showed up earlier than the reservation we had made. The two tarte flambées that we received were clearly too short in the oven and unfortunately tasted below our expectations. So we decided to leave the restaurant after the first round. The staff was clearly understaffed this evening, which we understand. However, there should still be time to deal professionally with guests' dissatisfaction; we missed that today.

Went there as a group and everyone enjoyed it very, very much. Only some tarte flambées had a little too much topping (for our taste) which made them a bit soggy and no longer as crispy. A great restaurant. The menu is fine. The service is attentive and very friendly. The chairs are very comfortable. The tarte flambées are just the finest. They come served on a wooden board and cut into four. I estimate the dimensions to be 40x30 cm. The cutlery is good for this. The taste is just very good. The dough is nice and thin and not too heavily topped. All components are perfectly coordinated. All right. The time from ordering to delivery was approximately 15 minutes. Also very good. The prices are good for what is on offer. Conclusion: Recommend.

Four of us were there with the City for two. The furnishings are modern and comfortable, the staff is very nice and always available for a chat. The tarte flambées were delicious, the dough was crispy and well topped. We were happy with the food and left full. (Had all you can eat)

You get the feeling that things aren't going so well anymore. It takes longer to get your food, the service is okay but not great, and you get the feeling that everything is happening a little slower so that you don't eat as much can with the All You Can Eat option. What bothered me the most, however, was that we ordered a tarte flambée with shrimp, but these were replaced by North Sea crabs for cost reasons. This is simply customer fraud. And yet, I recognize the difference between shrimp and crabs, and a year ago there were shrimps on them too, only now they were the typical small North Sea crabs :) Edit: During my most recent visit, the replenishment went much faster and all in all everything felt like it was running more smoothly. That's why there are currently 4 stars instead of 3.

The restaurant is stylishly decorated and offers a nice atmosphere. The drinks and the tarte flambées were super tasty and were reasonably priced. There were also 7 vegan tarte flambée options! Now to the essentials Eat : large selection of tarte flambées from savory to sweet The Flammk. could have been cruisers and were partly overloaded Just the sweet one with chocolate, it was delicious, but it was delicious. There's no other way to say that, but in the price range we serve, we look more and more closely at what it delivers, those are the rules :-) At 7-8 tarte flambées, msn looks over it. The homemade spritzers are delicious and creative, unfortunately not a bargain either. When you go out to eat, you want to be full, if I have to eat two it's just under €30 without drinks There were four of us and we left €150 there with a tip. 2 drinks each, 1.5 tarte flambées What I missed was homemade bread with a little home-made dip or a few olives or something like that. I would recommend this in this price range. I have to say, I bake tarte flambée myself and it's not bad. It was also clear that the flatbreads were not homemade and one was similar to the other. Nevertheless, it was a nice evening with you. I would definitely come again

A shop like this was missing in Bremen. Taste 1A and stands out from the 0815 pizza, burger shop. Top owner who always looks after the needs of customers and makes sure everything runs smoothly. I will gladly come again!

Tarte flambée was ok, but it only tasted like the “rancid board”. In my opinion, wooden boards just don't work that well. At some point they start to stink.

The atmosphere is cozy and stylish. Located on a large, busy street, I can't really imagine sitting outside. The service staff was very nice and friendly. The menu impresses with a variety of different tarte flambée variations, all of which sound delicious. There are also vegan tarte flambées. However, the waiting times to order, have drinks and food delivered felt a bit long. The tarte flambées were generally very tasty. However, the bottom of my tarte flambée was not crispy. A pity. Otherwise it was good though. We ordered a sweet tarte flambée for dessert. This one came with Oreo cookies, strawberries and custard. The taste here is also great, but the base is not crispy. I'll be back and hope that the tarte flambées come to the table with a crispy base. Then there are also 5 stars.

I found service friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, tarte flambée (all you can eat) doesn’t taste particularly good. I think of the few types of tarte flambée, 11 were with pork. Maybe we could bring more diversity into it. It would also be super cool if you could order half-half so you can try more varieties. Maybe we could add more variety :)
