Went there with a party of 5 people. Had a shared starter and a main. The momos were quite unique, kind of like a dumpling but not exactly. Chilies of different intensity were provided alongside. The Sherpa-Teller was great. The dal was sweet and the meat was savory so they go together quite nicely (and the vegetables). The staffs also provided complementary drinks after we got the bill.

We would particularly like to highlight the exceptionally friendly service, which was always attentive and helpful. Despite the high quality, the dishes arrived in a flash, which is always a plus for hungry guests! Another highlight is the delicious beer, which pairs perfectly with the aromatic dishes. But the real stars of the menu are undoubtedly the butter chicken and the honey duck – absolute explosions of flavor that should not be missed! And there's particularly good news for families: Yak & Yeti is extremely child-friendly, making the visit a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone. In short: If you're looking for authentic, delicious cuisine at fair prices and in a warm atmosphere in Berlin, you have to visit Yak & Yeti. A highly recommended restaurant that we'd love to visit again!

Very good quality and extremely attentive service. All dishes, whether with or without meat, are very well seasoned and well-balanced. You don't have to wait long for your food, even when the restaurant is busy. I could list everything we had. But try it for yourself; you certainly won't be disappointed. A real recommendation! This was our first time at Yak and Yeti – and it was absolutely amazing! The many positive reviews made us curious and we were definitely not disappointed. The food was extremely delicious! We had a meat dish, a vegetarian dish, two starters and different breads - everything was great. Super flavorful, fresh and just really good. The staff was very nice - no matter who was at our table, everyone was friendly, attentive and really hospitable. We mentioned that we had something special to celebrate that day - and a little later there was a wonderful surprise from the kitchen: a lovingly prepared dessert with a personal message. A truly thoughtful and generous gesture that made our day. :) We sat outside, which we can only recommend - very cozy and a really pleasant place. We also found the prices to be very fair - the drinks in particular are rather cheap compared to many other restaurants. Conclusion: An all-round great visit – we will definitely be back!

There is no better service. There is no better food. There is no better price.

Anyone who comes by car is out of luck. There are no parking spaces anywhere. The employees pay more attention to the boss than to the guests. Unfortunately, the boss is very hectic and that rubs off on the employees and also on me. After we spent an hour After we had spent our meal and finished eating, the boss frantically cleared away our plates. When the second round of drinks were almost empty, the boss came to the table with the bill and said "You definitely want to pay". This reduced well-being even further. The food was ok. I asked for a slightly spicier sauce. The boss lectured me that you have to say that when ordering. There are nicer and cozier restaurants with good food. Lg

The food is delicious and obviously made with care. We have ordered take-out from here several times but never dined in until today. There is a much larger range of fare to choose from with dine-in, so we chose dishes we have never tried. Every dish was seasoned perfectly and came out hot. The lamb takari was so tender and the curries were all so different and obviously made with fresh ingredients. I mostly wanted to write a review though because the service was so pleasant and set the tone for a really nice atmosphere. We will make this a regular destination.

If I could more than 5 stars I would have. The food was so tasty, my mouth starts watering only thinking about it. Price was very decent. Service was so good. We came on a Friday evening and got a place straight away without a reservation. Our waiter was super friendly, the food came very quickly and was very tasty! At the end we got a schnapps on the house from our great waiter! The portions were reasonable and not too expensive. We'll definitely be back :)

Was good. Had the duck with vegetables. Meat was ok, sauce too. Just like you know a duck is crispy. Wasn't an absolute high-flyer either, just like you know a duck is crispy. The salad had a little too much dressing on it. Otherwise friendly service, nice atmosphere. There wasn't much going on when we were there, but the food came very quickly. Less than 10 minutes waiting time. You can't complain about that.

I have been to Nepal several times and can say: Very authentic cuisine, Dal Bhat and Momos at their best, and the other Indian dishes that I always order are really tasty and of high quality. For me the best "Indian" in Berlin! Also delicious: the typical masala tea. Adorably friendly service and courteous service. Nice beer garden to sit outside, you always sit in very pleasant company.

Today we wanted to try out an alternative to the usual Indian meal. That's how we came across Yak and Yeti. It's actually a Nepalese who comes across as pretty authentic. The interior is adapted to Friedenau, but exudes a certain authenticity. What is remarkable is the food. Whether it is the sweet and sour soup, which always represents the level of quality in Asian cuisine, here it was completely rethought and very tasty. The art of cooking lamb is well mastered. We were able to test this in several versions. In short, you don't expect something like that in Friedenau. If you want to eat something exciting in a cozy atmosphere, then you are a welcome guest here. As a bon mot, there are extremely moderate prices here that are well below the local level.

We had a very good meal late at night. The staff is friendly, charming and funny. The menu is very extensive. Food is also seasoned as desired. The poultry meat practically melted in your mouth. Everything makes a very well-kept impression. Finding a parking space is difficult. But that's the case almost everywhere in Berlin.

Wow, we just ate at Yak and Yeti. Everything was delicious, especially the momos, the biryani and curry dishes. The different levels of spiciness and the freshness of the dishes were particularly noteworthy. The service is great, humorous and extremely friendly. We recommend.

Das Essen ist ein Gedicht! Ich hab natürlich nur ein Gericht bestellt plus Vorspeise, aber die anderen in meiner Gesellschaft waren auch sehr erfreut von ihrem Essen. Den Preis empfand ich als angemessen.

Heute Essen über Wolt bestellt und mich auf die positiven Bewertungen verlassen! Was geliefert wurde für 25 Euro war eine absolute Frechheit! So ein trockenes, altes und versalzenes Huhn habe ich im Leben noch nicht gesehen. Einfach ungenießbar! Wo die ganzen positiven Bewertungen herkommen ist mir ein Rätsel! Beim Anruf im Restaurant sagte mir der verantwortliche, wahrscheinlich Chef, dass das Fleisch vom Grill immer trocken ist 😡 . Sorry, aber ich glaube die ganzen positiven Bewertungen sind reiner Fake! Das Gericht was ich erhalten habe wird mit dem zweiten Bild bei Wolt beworben.. und dann was mir geliefert wurde …

Wir kommen seit Jahren ins Yak und Yeti. Manchmal sind wir Monate lang nicht da, werden aber trotzdem wiederkannt‘ und nach unseren Vorlieben bedient und platziert. Dieser Mann hat ein unfassbares Gedächtnis! Er hat aber auch tolle Leute in der Küche und eine wirklich große Auswahl vegetarischer Gerichte. Alles wirkt frisch und ist sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wer Service und sehr gutes Essen erwartet, wird hier in jeder Hinsicht belohnt. Man ist sehr aufmerksam gegenüber den Gästen, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Der Service ist einfach nur beispielhaft. Es ist keine affektierte Freundlichkeit, sondern man bekommt zu spüren, dass das Personal voll hinter dem steht, was man anbietet und tut. Vielen lieben Dank dafür, dass wir das erleben und genießen durften.

I didn't like it when the waitresses only inquired with the local guests and not with us, whether the food was tasty or not. It seems like they don't like Indian guests. Glad that I just ordered Momos which was really spicy anyways. Not going back again. Would rather visit Dalbhat, that is just round the corner. Es gefiel mir überhaupt nicht, wenn die Kellnerinnen nur die einheimischen Gäste danach erkundigt haben, ob das Essen köstlich war oder nicht. Ich erwartete, dass sie auch bei mir nach dem Geschmack des Essens fragen würden, aber vergeblich. Weil die Momos immerhin sehr würzig waren. Es kann durchaus möglich sein, dass indische und nepalische Gäste hier nicht willkommen sind. Aber, es spielt mir keine Rolle, weil ich niemals sie erneuert besuchen würde.

Sehr leckeres Essen zu angemessenen Preisen, super freundliche und aufmerksame, gleichwohl unaufdringliche Bedienung. Die eine oder andere Speise (Sherpa-Teller, Dessert) wird quasi im Blechnapf serviert und muss aus dem Blechnapf gegessen werden - mit einem zusätzlichen Schälchen aus Porzellan oder ähnlichem wäre schön abgeholfen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wir hatten Plätze auf der recht großen Terrasse vor dem Restaurant. Hier kann man angenehm unter großem Sonnenschirmen sitzen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und half bei der Speisenauswahl. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Als Vorspeise haben wir uns einen Teller Momos (Dumplings) geteilt. Da sind 10 Stück drauf. Das war unseres Erachtens zu viel für eine Vorspeise für eine Person und zu wenig für eine Hauptspeise. Wir hatten dann eine gemischte Platte für 2 Personen und das war genau richtig. Als Hauptspeise habe ich mir ein mittelscharfes Gericht ausgesucht und das passte auch gut so. Es war gut gewürzt aber nicht zu scharf. Die Preise sind vollkommen in Ordnung. Wir können auf jeden Fall wieder.

Super tasty food! The food that you expect from a good restaurant. The waiters were kind, good service. The atmosphere was calm and nice. We were two persons and we had two starters, one main dish and three drinks. In total it was 34,5€. Everything was really tasty and high quality. The only thing I’d say it could be better, is the portions could be a bit bigger. But we were happy and we want to come back and try different things next time cause it seems they have a lot of dishes. Five stars! Highly recommended ⭐️
