Super friendly service. Staff explain the dishes and their origins. The food was exceptionally good.

Tried this place for lunch for the first time, and what a lovely surprise! I had never been here before, but it instantly felt like a hidden gem. Calm, cozy atmosphere, incredibly tasty food and drinks, and portions that were just perfectly balanced. The service was warm and attentive without ever hovering. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

We've been to the Prenzlauer Berg branch two or three times in the past, and it was delicious every time. Since I was looking for a place to have dinner with the family for my birthday this year, the idea of ​​going to Mitho Cha! came to me quite spontaneously. However, since I'm currently working in Tempelhof, this time I went to the branch near Hermannplatz, which I hadn't heard of before. What can I say? We weren't disappointed. The employees were both super friendly. The restaurant was very clean overall, and, of course, most importantly, the food was super delicious and not that expensive. The five of us paid around €135. That included five main courses, three starters, and at least one drink each. You really can't complain. We'll definitely be back. For getting there, I highly recommend using public transportation. There are parking spaces near the restaurant. However, this can involve a lengthy search, and as far as I can tell, all of these seem to be subject to a fee, requiring a ticket. The

The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully spiced with a unique Himalayan-Ayurvedic twist. The momos and curries are a must-try. Friendly staff and cozy vibes make it feel like home. Perfect spot for wholesome vegan and vegetarian meals.

The bartender Sudarshan was super friendly and polite he made us feel welcome and did an amazing job explaining the menu and always making sure we have everything we need. It was really good here. We ordered chicken curry and mixed dumplings. Both were really good, especially the dumplings, but the chicken curry was also excellent - it could have used a bit more sauce and rice :-) The music is great and complements the atmosphere/origin of the restaurant. The only downside: The chicken curry was surprisingly spicy. It would have been better if they made this clearer on the menu. I can eat it, but I would have ordered it without the spicy option :-)

We had the Experience Menu for two and EVERYTHING was fantastic. A true explosion of flavors. The service was also perfect. 👌🏽

Absolutely perfect! I got there a little bit late (after 9 pm) and I still got dinner and the service was super sweet! I was a bit overwhelmed with all the food options and the fact that I‘ve never had Nepalese food so I got the recommendation to try the plate with a bunch of national dishes to try. It was simply awesome! Everything tasted so good and even the pineapple juice I ordered is not just any supermaket juice - it was absolutely delicious! :)

We were thrilled! A very pleasant atmosphere and a super friendly team. We reserved a table online – very convenient! The food was delicious! We had four vegan dishes: dumplings, Tibetan-spiced vegan soy chunks with peanuts, and two Nepalese curries. It was a truly delicious evening! We highly recommend it and will definitely come back ourselves!

Nice place to hang out. It's a bit cramped outside, but okay. Since I had no expectations beforehand, I wasn't disappointed. The food was tasty, but it wasn't unique or overwhelming. We had a lovely evening, and that's all that matters.

We landed here spontaneously today and were totally thrilled! The service was super warm, really made you feel good. The food – Nepalese specialties and Asian cuisine – was exactly as described and really tasty. You can just tell that people cook with love here. We felt completely at home and will definitely come back!

Very nice food and service, but they charged us 3 euros for tap water telling us that it was moneral water which was not.

The first time I tasted Nepali food, I didn't expect it to be very delicious and rich. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff is very cute. What a memorable experience we had when we came to Berlin

While the servers were friendly enough and the reviews seemed so positive, we were extremely disappointed by our experience. The prices are higher than the typical restaurant, which the portion and flavours don’t match. My dish, the meagre portion of Tofu Badam, tasted really off.. so off that I had to ask the server to take it away and if possible give me even a small portion of something else so that at least I could eat something. Not sure if the food had been heated up repeatedly or if it was just old. To make matters worse, I spent that night with an upset stomach and woke up to diarrhea. It’s been a couple of days and I’m miserable with stomach pain that radiates to my back and / or other organs. Sadly due to this unpleasant experience and waste of money, I’ll have to rush to the hospital if it doesn’t get any better soon. I’d highly recommend the restaurant management to check the quality of the food they serve their customers. Especially for curries which cost around 5€ more than some other similar restaurants, it’s a huge shame to get food poisoning and have so much hassle.

Best crispy duck I've ever had!

Super delicious food and nice service. I can definitely recommend the 3-course menu for 2 people. Especially for the main course, you get a great selection of many small dishes and can therefore try out a lot of Nepalese cuisine. We would be happy to come back next time we visit Berlin.

The food was very tasty but I would advise every guest to ask for a bill and check it, as the waiters sometimes suddenly charge more than what is on the bill.

We ordered momo ,chicken sekuwa and dal bhat. The momo were perfectly steamed, juicy, and so amazing sauce. The prise were reasonable. The staffs were very friendly. I will definitely be coming back and try more dishes.

Suraj Dai is literally the best and most talented person. Also loved the food so authentic and relevant to the Nepali palate.

Best potato eggplant curry ever!!

Everything we ordered was way too sweet, except for the momo. I have eaten Tibetan and Nepalese food in Tibet, so I never experienced this. Maybe it’s the unfortunate influence of global modernization because I notice this trend in many Asian cuisines. It sucks and I wonder how much we will pay for it in healthcare and disease. Leave the sweet stuff for dessert! Stop adding sugar and sweeteners in your entree, please, and I will come back. The service and food presentation was lovely at least.

I had a mango lassi, chai, lemon drink, along with their Chicken noodle soup off the lunch menu and their yogurt with gulab jamun. It was all really wonderful and just what I needed as I was sick, and the service was very attentive and friendly as well! Will def be back another time

We went back to the restaurant after an "Eat the World Tour" because we liked the vegan Sherpa Tea so much. This was again really tasty, but this was topped by the spicy and vegan momo and the peanut sauce. Really excellent! The two other dishes were also okay. Service was also really nice and accommodating. Also well organized, despite a busy Friday. But to be on the safe side, I would make a reservation next time. The atmosphere, with the candles and the music, was also great. Looking back, a very nice evening!

I had the Coco Chicken. The sauce was very tasty but the chicken was tough. And I got the wrong tea. The staff was very polite and the interior design was simple but pleasant. I like wood or wood-look floors.

We tested the Neukölln location through NeoTaste and were not disappointed. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. The service is super friendly and the food is very tasty. Also good for ordering different things and sharing them with friends.

Super tasty food, nice service. As a celiac, I was worried that the name for gluten wouldn't work, but it worked out great. Food was super tasty. I can recommend the Saag. We ate almost exclusively vegetarian food, but my friend's meat was also good.

The food was really great and a positive surprise! The lamb with potatoes was amazing! The only negative point: the portions are a bit small for the price. And I would have liked some bread with the soup (even just a simple piece). The service was friendly and professional.

I had a great Christmas party there with my colleagues beforehand and the owner of the restaurant helped me with the table decorations that I had brought with me. And after the meal we did the same thing with the 2 cakes, put the fountain in and lit it and that Sparklers were distributed which was very nice. My colleagues were also very enthusiastic about the food. Later the music was made louder so that we could dance. The mango lassi and Jogite tea with oat milk is highly recommended, my potato lamb was also very tasty Namaste to the staff as well as the chef I will definitely go there again with my girlfriend because she had duck with peanut sauce which tasted really good, this dish is highly recommended

The food is good, but very mildly seasoned. The service was friendly. The furnishings are pretty and invite you to linger.

Super nice local, very authentic atmosphere and attentive service. The food tastes very tasty and offers an interesting variety of flavors compared to similar restaurants. Not particularly cheap but very reasonably priced and really worth a visit. (The vegetarian option 53 was my favorite, along with the garlic naan)

Unfortunately, the menu promised a lot more than the food had to offer. It was good but not at all special. Everything is very lightly seasoned, perhaps something for people who don't like it spicy. Unfortunately it was too lax for us. The lamb was super tender, but that's the only thing we can really praise. The service was friendly but not very attentive. The ambience was pretty subtle.

We've been there a lot now and have been thrilled every time...the food is amazing and the spices give the restaurant a fascinating, fragrant atmosphere as soon as you arrive! The dishes are all fresh and lovingly prepared! You can tell that the owner brings original Nepalese cuisine to Berlin. The price/performance ratio is absolutely fine and cheap for the great food! Everything is just right, including the service, the drinks and the bar. It is advisable to make a reservation... for me it is always a pleasure because the vegetarian dishes are also extremely tasty! Freddy

We ordered through Wolt, it came damaged and barely warm but that's only partly the fault if the restaurant. The taste however was disappointing if you look at all the reviews here. The spinach and paneer dish was so bland - no salt no seasoning at all same with the rice just tasteless. Was really looking forward to it.

Worst food that I ate in Berlin so far.

The food there is excellent. The traditional Nepalese cuisine has been spiced up in a very innovative way without losing its character. Vegans and vegetarians also get their money's worth. There are also good wines and cocktails.

Just as! Delicacies in a pleasant atmosphere

Highly recommend! From the tee over the dumplings to the curry and naan. For peanut lovers I’d recommend the peanut curry with Tofu - an absolute dream. On top of this you can expect welcoming and kind staff und a very cosy atmosphere!

I’m from Nepal and a foodie. Finally found a Nepali place in Berlin where I came home satisfied after 3 different kinds of Momos. The vibe of the place was great. Very attentive service. Right now I see little competition for Nepali food in Berlin. Jhol Momos ( Momos in soup) is recommended.

It’s surprising how a racist restaurant is still operating in Berlin. Based on recommendation from a friend, we asked them for their special Nepali menu, and we were denied the menu because we were not Nepali. After insisting for the menu, we were further grilled about our name and simply denied. Not recommended.

It was the first time I had eaten with a Nepalese. It was really very good 🥰

We had the mixed momos (c. 10€) and one of the plates (ca. 20€). Everything we had was good and flavorful. However, it did not really blow my mind either. I feel like I could get more or less the same at other places for a better price. Overall solid.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve eaten, curated with so much love and attention to detail, an energetically sound place, nice music - atmospherically everything top notch. Really enjoyed the menu design as well. On top of that, great service. Felt like a five star restaurant. Very friendly waiting. Now to the food: Absolutely delicious, high-quality, authentic, and homemade taste. So good!! A warm hug around the heart. Now considering all this, the prices are amazing. Nothing I wouldn’t have paid for a meal and a drink in most other restaurants. Also would be just a great place to go and drink some homemade Sherpa with friends and talk. The on-the-house mango shot wasn’t even a factor when rating this place but in any case so appreciated, felt very welcoming. If I could give an extra star it would be for the opening times. I usually have a hard time finding a restaurant to eat at because I go out so late, so that’s how I ended up here and will know is usually going to be an option. All in all, one of the best places in all of Berlin. I felt like I was in Tibet for a moment there. The kind of place I will have to bring all my friends and family and recommend to anyone I know.

Went here for dinner in the evening and were not disappointed. Both the drinks and the food were very tasty. The dumplings in a wide variety of variations are particularly recommended. The staff was always friendly and responded quickly. There is a star deduction for the price/performance ratio of the duck. 17€ for so little meat is simply a lot in comparison. The price is ok for me because the quality is good, but I would like to get full of it. Definitely coming back, it was a nice evening.

And listen along Cha means “tasty” in Nepalese धेरै धेरै धन्यवाद , ཁྱེད་ལ་ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཆེ་ ཞུ And the Bavarian/Berliner beer goes well with it. Be careful with the chilli - as the boss said it is “extra hot”
