Mitho Cha! Neukölln in Berlin

We had the mixed momos (c. 10€) and one of the plates (ca. 20€). Everything we had was good and flavorful. However, it did not really blow my mind either. I feel like I could get more or less the same at other places for a better price. Overall solid.

It was the first time I had eaten with a Nepalese. It was really very good 🥰

One of the most beautiful places I’ve eaten, curated with so much love and attention to detail, an energetically sound place, nice music - atmospherically everything top notch. Really enjoyed the menu design as well. On top of that, great service. Felt like a five star restaurant. Very friendly waiting. Now to the food: Absolutely delicious, high-quality, authentic, and homemade taste. So good!! A warm hug around the heart. Now considering all this, the prices are amazing. Nothing I wouldn’t have paid for a meal and a drink in most other restaurants. Also would be just a great place to go and drink some homemade Sherpa with friends and talk. The on-the-house mango shot wasn’t even a factor when rating this place but in any case so appreciated, felt very welcoming. If I could give an extra star it would be for the opening times. I usually have a hard time finding a restaurant to eat at because I go out so late, so that’s how I ended up here and will know is usually going to be an option. All in all, one of the best places in all of Berlin. I felt like I was in Tibet for a moment there. The kind of place I will have to bring all my friends and family and recommend to anyone I know.

Very nice atmosphere and ambiance, super delicious food at reasonable prices! Highly recommend the tofu in peanut sauce and garlic naan bread, can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu

Went here for dinner in the evening and were not disappointed. Both the drinks and the food were very tasty. The dumplings in a wide variety of variations are particularly recommended. The staff was always friendly and responded quickly. There is a star deduction for the price/performance ratio of the duck. 17€ for so little meat is simply a lot in comparison. The price is ok for me because the quality is good, but I would like to get full of it. Definitely coming back, it was a nice evening.

The food was amazing - a very stylish mix of flavors in one bite - a composition. We enjoyed it very much. Thank you very much! And listen along Cha means “tasty” in Nepalese धेरै धेरै धन्यवाद , ཁྱེད་ལ་ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཆེ་ ཞུ And the Bavarian/Berliner beer goes well with it. Be careful with the chilli - as the boss said it is “extra hot”

Place was amazing. We try Nepalese/Himalayan food in all our travels, and this one is tops. This place would stand out in any city. Definitely try all the Momo here. Daal bhat set was enough for 2 people for sure. And test out a few different drinks, we had beer, whiskey, and the rice wine, and my wife loved the teas. The server (Nirvik I think was his name) was awesome, he explained things we hadn't seen before and was super friendly. Will definitely be going back before our vacation is over.

Real Nepali food, delicious flavours, fair prices and interesting menu you don’t see so often in Berlin. Waiters are lovely and wine was decent. Will be coming back again soon to try the Dal Bhat. Dhanyabaad!

We had “Mitho Cha Neukölln” on our list for a long time and were not disappointed. The vegan food (of course there is also non-vegan food) was really tasty, and the cocktails and the Nepalese beer were great. The service was super friendly and very accommodating. We felt really comfortable and will definitely come back. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for good and authentic Nepalese food in Berlin!

Uniquely good flavours and superb service. Pakora super tiny but really tasty with a peanut sauce and an exciting tomato-based sauce. Very good mains as well but small portions. I’d rather pay more and get a bit more!

Restaurant with many tables inside and a few outside in summer. We had very tasty vegetable balls as a starter and then a mixed vegetarian platter. Both looked great and the starter was also very tasty. At the I would have liked more flavor for the main course. Asian cuisine can do that better.

Very warm service.. The ribbon noodles were super good.. I tried the iced tea and was thrilled that it wasn't so sweet..

Really amazing food! It’s often hit or miss going to restaurants in Berlin claiming to be authentic, but it’s definitely the case here. And you can ask for „Nepalese spicy“ and it’ll actually have a nice kick. Also the waiter was super funny so extra points for that.

Decor and ambience was great. Spicy food was neither spicy nor authentic, tasted like regular Chinese food instead of Nepalese. Dumplings seemed to be prepared by someone who doesn't know how to steam dumplings because they packed too many dumplings in one tray, resulting in them sticking to each other and the dough not fully cooking. Service by male staff reflective of some Asian restaurants where they only look at the male diner when asking for input.

Excellent service, average food. Ordered the big Thali. I have traveled to Nepal before, and looking for something familiar. I find the flavors here on the mild side: lacking and one-note. Sauces taste out of a can, the peanut sauce in particular. Lamb was chewy and tough, although the spinach dish was good. Momos have the same filling as the side dishes, so they share a similar mid flavor profile. Mushy and overcooked. Kitchen staff: suggest to turn the flavors way, way up. Your audience might appreciate it. Also: why are the reviews here for the old Vietnamese restaurant in this location still up?

Given the prices, I’d have expected better quality. The dishes weren’t super tasty and they were quite heavy on the stomach. I’ve tried way better nepalese food in other restaurants.

I love Nepalese food and this was disappointing. All dishes were similar in flavor and they were not cheap either for the quality. Momos were edible but not anywhere close to what I expected for a great mono. If I wanted to listen to top 40 music for atmosphere, I’d go to a mall. Will not come back.

Wow just wow I'm really at a loss for words

Unfortunately we didn't eat well. The momos were overcooked and stuck, the worst we have ever eaten. The small portion, salty chicken curry gave me heartburn. For the quality of the food definitely expensive. Perfect for people who don't have high expectations.

Super delicious food (veg. Chau chau and green mo mos, soya sate) and friendly service

Got two chili chicken to take away. It was really good. Pity the portion was really not worth the 16€.

The atmosphere is really nice, you sit well and have space. The service is okay, but could really be friendlier. My partner had a curry with chicken and the chicken was just cold inside. It was then warmed up by the kitchen, but the waiter didn't look happy when there was a correspondingly small tip. However, the dumplings with the sauces were delicious. Therefore 3 stars.

Delicious Nepalese, sauces each have their unique flavor, teas are tasty too. Meat was crispy and tender. There’s an offer of Ayurvedic meals as well. clean and pretty space

The restaurant is an absolute recommendation! We each had the hot plates and dumplings 🥟. Both dishes were very tasty. Our waitress was extremely friendly and personable and took great care of us. 👍👍👍 Therefore ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Place nice, nice staff, but if you know anything about food and in particular south Asian food then avoid, it really is one of the worst and not cheap either

War vor kurzem zum ersten Mal dort. Schönes Ambiente, Personal sehr freundlich. Essen war lecker und würzig. Hatten scharfes Essen bestellt :) Mir persönlich war es zu wenig Soße im Essen.

Nach meiner Nepal-Reise war ich begeistert, im Mitho Cha in Neukölln echte nepalesische Aromen wiederzufinden. Jedes Gericht, besonders das Dal Bhat, schmeckte authentisch und erinnerte mich an meine Erlebnisse im Himalaya. Ein kulinarischer Geheimtipp mit herzlichem Service. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Sehr entspanntes Restaurant, in dem man ruhig essen und auch etwas länger sitzen kann. Der Service war sehr nett und das Essen lecker.

Very happy to discover this great restaurant in the neighborhood! I came in with low expectations after previous bad experiences with Nepalese food in Berlin, but everything I ate last night was cooked skillfully and the service was very friendly. Lamb can be a tricky meat to cook properly, and I was particularly impressed by how well they prepared several different lamb dishes.

Tolles Essen, leckerer nepalesischer Tee

Wir waren bereits am anderen Standort in Prenzelberg hier hat es uns schon sehr gefallen. Nun auch in Neukölln, dass Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und die Mitarbeiter enorm zuvorkommend und freundlich. Durch euch konnten wir uns für die nepalesische Küche begeistern. Super lecker und Preisleistung sehr angemessen. Hier findet jeder seinen Geschmack ob Vegan, Vegetarisch oder Fleischliebhaber. Jedes mal wieder ein Vergnügung. Danke für den tollen Service und das leckere Essen.

Sehr lecker, sehr freundliche Bedienung, etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit für die quasi um die Ecken sitzenden Gäste wäre sicherlich wünschenswert. Wir kommen wieder!

One of the best thukpas I've ever had

By maintaining the tenderness and crispness when the duck even when half submerged in sauce, this chef demonstrates great skill and control. One of the best duck dishes I had, and the prices are very affordable as well.

Sehr schönes Restaurant und wirklich leckeres Essen. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und das Essen kam zügig, vollständig und heiß zum Tisch. Preislich vollkommen angemessen. Absolute Weiterempfehlung für ein Kulinarisches Erlebnis. Meine Wahl viel auf das Lamm Fry in der Sizzler Platte für ca 17€. Zusammen mit dem White Monkey Tee und einem Glas Wasser lag der Besuch bei rund 23€.

This new place is absolutely fantastic! Excellent service and the food tastes like home cooked food. You can ask for the Nepali menu if you want some special dishes that are not on the regular menu.

Leckere deftige Curries mit super zartem Fleisch oder Soja. Super netter Laden und für Vegetarier und Veganer auch eine Menge Auswahl.

Super netter Service (habe einen veganen Chai-Tee bekommen während ich auf meine To-go Bestellung gewartet habe). Veganes Pad Thai war auch sehr lecker, wenn auch der Tofu mir persönlich ein wenig zu sehr nach nichts geschmeckt hat, kann aber an mir liegen.

In einem verzauberten Ambiente entführt dieses nepalesische Juwel die Sinne auf eine kulinarische Reise. Die Aromen sind eine Hommage an das ferne Himalaya-Land : Nepal ein wahrer Genuss für die Sinne. Ein authentischer Gaumenschmaus! Einfach Spitze!

Da ich ein riesengroßer Fan vom Mitho Cha! im Prenzlauer Berg bin, konnte ich es mir natürlich nicht entgehen lassen, auch hier mein Glück auf der Suche nach köstlichen Speisen zu versuchen. Und wie erhofft, wurden meine Erwartungen mal wieder übertroffen. Nicht nur die Authentische Atmosphäre, sondern auch das wie gewohnte, überaus freundliche Personal und hervorragende Essen hat dort auf mich gewartet! Friendly staff and food is just super delecious

Wer wirklich mal gut essen gehen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Ein Vielfalt von guten Gerichten. Von der Vorspeise über die Hauptspeise ist es hier absolut zu empfehlen. Hier zaubert der Koch dir ein wunderschönes Lächeln in dein Gesicht. Preis Leistung ist super. Die Absolute Wohlfühlen Atmosphäre und der Service ist wirklich sehr gut. Danke an das gesamte Team 😉

Ich bin heute mit meiner Familie zufällig an dem Restaurant vorbei gelaufen und spontan ausprobiert. Komplette Begeisterung! Für jeden Geschmack was dabei, sei es von vegan bis zu einigen Fleischgerichten. Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Personal freundlich 😊 Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Vielen Dank 🤩

It was alright. Big portion, nice vegetables and duck meat. The dish was missing any interesting spices though.

Das Restaurant ist super. Das Essen war super lecker und die Bedingung war sehr nett und schnell. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und schön dekoriert. Ich würde auf jeden Fall nochmal hin.

Via Wolt bestellt. Schnell zubereitet und geliefert. Gericht mit "gewürfeltem Rib-Eye" klang interessant, daher bestellt, auch wenn's 16€ ein stolzer Preis sind. War schlussendlich das super dünn geschnittene Asia Beef, dass man überall anders für 10€ bekommt, nichts zu sehen von Rib-Eye oder Würfeln. Rotes Curry war ok. Verpackungen für Lieferungen allerdings relativ ungeeignet, sodass die Saucen auch ausgelaufen waren.

Leider ewig gewartet, essen war nicht besonders gut und Bedienung war eig ganz freundlich

Essen mit gutem/okayem Preis - Leistungsverhältnis (9,90€ für Udon mit Gemüse), freundlicher Service (an Feedback interessiert), gemütlich Overall gut, nur gab's leider Champignons im Udon-Gericht statt wie beschrieben Shitake

Das war die kleinste Portion von Wan tan Chien Vegan, wobei es eigentlich mit Champignon und Chiitake sein sollte, die aber definitiv nicht drin waren. Lachs-Suppe kam in einer annehmbaren Portion, jedoch im ganzen Pott waren gerade mal ungelogen drei Stück Lachs drin, der Rest bereits vergangenesGemüse; das hat man an dem Paprikagesehen, das schon dunkle Flecken hatte. Definitiv das erste und das letzte mal bestellt. Fotos wären sehr hilfreich gewesen, wäre es mir vorher eingefallen.

On était un peu hésitant à aller dans ce restaurant car la salle était quasiment vide mais on a tout de même tenté le coup et ce n'était pas trop mal. La serveuse était sympathique, l'avantage à Berlin c'est que la population locale parle facilement l'anglais avec les touristes. La nourriture était bonne. Les prix très bon marché ! On est sorti avec une note de moins de 60€ pour des cocktails, entrées, plats et vin !

Outstanding Vietnamese food. Great value for money.

Wir sind schon häufig im Cocoon gewesen und bestellen immer die gleichen Speisen. Nun war es gestern das letzte Mal. : ( Die Servicekraft ist sehr nett, dafür den Stern. Der Virgin Moquito mit GingerAle war Zuckerwasser mit etwas Limette und Minze drin -für 4,20€. Udon know me hatte so gut wie keine braune Sosse, weniger Gemüse und die Portion war kleiner als früher. Auch Nutty Peanut hatte weniger Gemüse. Zudem konnte von Peanut keine Rede sein, denn die Sosse schmeckte ausschliesslich nach Cocosmilch. Offensichtlich muss das Restaurant sparen. Es tut mir sehr leid für Euch. Auf bessere Zeiten!

The atmosphere is nice and the service is great! The employees are attentive and friendly. The food is prepared with great care and the presentation is very nice. The sauces are especially delicious and have the right amount of spices and consistency. I recommend ordering the spring roll, you'll eat 6 and want to order more!
