Genuinely loved this place. We picked the floor seats which is a very cool experience. The food was amazing, very flavourful and varied. The service was great too, super quick, they accommodated our requests immediately and they were super friendly as well. Overall a five star experience.

Mitho - Cha Pberg is truly a hidden gem that brings the authentic Nepali experience right into the heart of the city. 📍 Location: Getting there is incredibly easy – just hop on the M2 or M10 tram, and you’re only a short walk away. Perfectly accessible, even if you’re exploring the area for the first time. 🍴 Food & Taste: The food here is an absolute 10/10. What makes it stand out is how well-balanced the flavors are – subtle on spices, which keeps the dishes light, healthy, and true to their Himalayan roots. The Thali is an absolute must-try, a wholesome spread that gives you a little taste of everything. And of course, the momos are not to be missed – soft, flavorful, and easily some of the best I’ve had in Berlin. A fun little tradition they have: if you finish your thali using your hands instead of cutlery (the traditional way), they reward you with a complimentary chai. It’s such a warm and thoughtful touch that really highlights the spirit of the place. 🏡 Ambience: The space is surprisingly spacious and well thought-out. They even have traditional Nepali floor seating arrangements, which makes the whole experience immersive and authentic. Sitting there, I honestly felt transported to a cozy Himalayan hut for the evening – it’s rare to find that kind of atmosphere in the city. 🙌 Service: The service deserves a special mention. Super tasty and great atmosphere!

The food was delicious. We chose the set menu for two. We'd be happy to come back the next time we visit the capital.

Nice restaurant with friendly service. The food came quickly and was freshly prepared. The taste was okay overall, but some parts were a bit bland and could have used more seasoning. We found the portions quite small for the price. There were two of us, and we had an appetizer, a portion of momos, and two main courses, and we weren't really full afterward. I'm generally happy to pay more for good food, but here the portion size and value for money unfortunately don't quite match up.

We sat outside and ordered the "Mitho Cha! Experience" for two. Each dish was explained to us, and everything tasted simply delicious. Definitely a recommendation.

Food was good - flavorful and unique. Lot of options on the menu. Ambiance was warm, with relaxing lights and music. But we had to wait for our food for over a hour…we ordered at around 7:05 and food didn’t come till 8:20. We ordered the set and naan which we thought would be quick too…the speed of service could definitely get better. We didn’t even order appetizers so waiting for a meal for over a hour on non peak day is not great.

It was soooo delicious, and the waiters were incredibly friendly and attentive. We rolled home afterwards. The chicken satay skewers and chili paneer were especially amazing!

Our friend is allergic to peanuts and after they have confirmed the order twice proactively with her, still brought the wrong dish, and tried to cover up their mistake instead of owning up to it. Also charged 3€ extra for paying with a debit card. Never experienced this in Germany.

Very delicious food. I ate the appetizer platter for 3-4 people by myself and was quite full. The only point deduction is that we had to wait a long time. First to order and then for the food. So you have to allow yourself some time.

Yesterday, we had lunch there with seven people. We were able to sit comfortably outside. The service was very friendly and readily accommodated our special requests. The food was of very good quality. Reasonable value for money. The ambiance inside was good, and the outside area was okay. The restrooms were clean. Overall, I can recommend Mitho Cha.

My absolute favorite restaurant here in Prenzlauer Berg. The food is excellent, the service is extremely friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I definitely recommend it!

The food was exceptionally good! I'm usually a very picky eater, but my tofu badam, a peanut curry with rice and salad, was truly delicious. 🤤 My companions had an orange salad and dumplings, and they were also very satisfied. Oh, and we sat outside and had a lovely atmosphere for dinner.

The food was absolutely delicious! We were absolutely impressed by both the Alu Bantha and the lamb goulash! The green momos could have had a bit more cheese filling. It almost tasted like spinach. The dips that came with them weren't really our taste. The peanut dip was very sweet, and the tomato salsa tasted strongly of coriander. For those who find coriander tastes like soap, it's unfortunately inedible. We really liked the atmosphere. The prices were absolutely reasonable. The service was very friendly, but we had to wait a long time for our food. 45 minutes for our main courses and an hour for the steamed dumplings. It was also very busy, even though it was a Wednesday night.

Absolutely perfect place! So nice and friendly people, good service, delicious food. You can sit at the table and on the floor which is more relaxing. I was planning to take half the portion at home, but ate all.

We tried their chicken dumplings( better to order them timely as they take 20 minutes to steam) and really enjoyed them as our starter with some really good home made fresh drinks 🍷 For main courses we had lamb sizzler, chicken chilli🌶️ , and chicken chow mein. The food is really good, but the portions are a bit small. In my opinion, you won't get full without an appetizer. The service also leaves a lot to be desired. While it's friendly, everything takes a long time. Things are often forgotten, and others are brought incorrectly.

The three of us were here and had a lovely evening with delicious food and drinks. We'll definitely come back next time we're in Berlin.

Very tasty food and drinks. I had the Kung Pao Soya - full of flavor and spices. Goes well with the naan or rice on the side. Recommend Basil Spritz if you like to try something else for drinms

The food was a bit bland and only gained flavor after we seasoned it ourselves with seasoning pastes and salt. We had to specifically ask for this, though. And while the food was already in front of us, we had to wait for the pastes because an order was being taken at another table, another was being brought, and yet another table was being cleared. The two Spritz drinks were far too acidic, and the Riesling was very good. We had several starters and two main courses. Everything was, as I said, very bland and completely ordinary Asian food, which we've had much fresher and more flavorful elsewhere.

I ordered two meals and some small dishes through Wolt. Unfortunately, only half of the order was delivered. The vegetarian dish was extremely bland—easily the worst I’ve ever had. The cheese in particular was unpleasant and inedible. We couldn’t finish it.

We were waiting for more than an hour! And nobody even warned about such waiting time. The food was mediocre - not something you expect from the restaurant. It's much better in the Indian or Vietnamese restaurants nearby. I don't recommend this place.

The taste was simply delicious! Everything was perfectly seasoned, and the consistency of the individual ingredients was maintained. The chai was spicy and sweet. They have many vegetarian and vegan dishes and a good lunch menu.

Cannot say much about the food yet, because we are waiting for ages. And we are not the only ones waiting. At least for one hour. Staff seems overwhelmed, might be understaffed. Kitchen might be understaffed as well. Friday evening, arrived around 20:30.

It's been a long time since I felt truly satisfied with a meal. I had the Mito Daal Bhat and the Sherpa tea with it. It was incredibly delicious. Very spicy but not hot. I was full afterward, but not overeaten. 11/10, I'll definitely be back.

Excellent food. I enjoyed different variety of Nepalese momo and authentic nepali daal bhat. The ambiance is so good and well maintained area. Reflects Nepalese culture and great hospitality and vibe. I recommend trying momo and daal bhat.

We had the best dinner here! It was so fun to sit on the floor. We got the sampler platter menu for 2 and it was a ton of food and everything was absolutely delicious. Healthy and flavorful. The service was great too. So happy we came in!

Unfortunately found it extremely overrated. The veggie dumplings were all gooey and lacked any flavour (not even salt). The quantity of starters was very small (the eggplant one), nor did it have any flavour. There's better options within Berlin and wouldn't recommend a visit at all.

First time we went here was for dinner and the food was outstanding, this time we went for lunch and had basically the same dishes, but the rice was cold (Very cold on one of the dishes) and the food a little lackluster, so perhaps best enjoyed only for dinner, or better still would be to see the lunch service improve

Food was excellent - I wish we would have tried more. We were just super hungry. We had Paneer and Chicken Sizzler - Paneer was out of this world. It was quite full and service was a bit weak, just taking the order and bringing the food. We enjoyed sitting on the floor.

Nepalese cuisine impresses with a large selection of delicious meat and vegan dishes. The food is really very tasty. The prices are very fair and the portions are pleasantly filling. Particularly noteworthy is the extremely friendly and helpful staff, which makes the visit even more pleasant.

I'm just sitting here with my beloved better half in a cosy corner of the Mitho Cha! Right now, moving is a bit strenuous, because my belly is so full of really excellent food. We had the three-course menu for two and I loved absolutely every single dish they served. Nothing was under a 7/10, most a 9/10 or 10/10. Desert arrived just this moment and it is... lovely as well. Sitting in the floor-seating area, we even feel a little bit like not being in Berlin anymore. All in all a wonderful experience and highly recommended!

We spontaneously got a table here on a Friday evening where we could sit with 8 people. We chose the table where you sit on the floor and everyone really loved the experience, it had a really good charm and was very comfortable. The service was great, we were served quickly and the food came quickly. The food was really delicious, tasted really great and the quality was also top. Will definitely come back here soon!

First time trying this cousin and became one of my favourites already, lovely food, service, decent vegan and veggie options. The teas are something else. They could improve the dust on some of the statues and things hanging but not a big deal. I love it!

Delicious traditional dishes with plenty of vegan/vegetarian options. The ambiance is also very inviting and well-designed. There's even the option to sit on the floor while eating, as is culturally appropriate. The server was also very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Perfect location in Prenzlauer Berg and therefore easy to reach. The service is friendly, helpful and quick. I decided on a floor spot. I sat at the table, lying on several cushions, and enjoyed the simple, beautiful ambience. The delicious tea and the mixed momos (3 different types of dumplings with two different chutneys) were great. I'll be back!

Very tasty food, attentive service. The restaurant is relatively small, but nicely done. A negative point for me was the music selection. It had nothing to do with the experience and was rather counterproductive for the atmosphere, as they obviously put a lot of effort into creating the ambience. Reservation is recommended.

We ordered the chana masala here and it was an absolute total failure. The food was unseasoned, bland and arrived cold. It was basically just rice with chickpeas. Salt and pepper were missing. The sauce was watery. I feel like no salt was used at all. Sorry, but I can cook it much better myself here at home. The naan bread tastes like nothing and is also missing salt. So overall it was probably the worst dish we have ever ordered.

Authentic food with great taste and good options on their menu. The cocktails were brilliant and on point (we had the Annapurna sunset and lychee drink with basil) The atmosphere of the place is really nice, welcoming and has a positive upbeat energy. We got some of our food packed since we couldn’t finish it all, the quality of the boxes for takeaway was amazing. The service was really nice, welcoming and smiling staff (not too common here in Berlin) The prices are on the higher end for certain top selling dishes. Overall would definitely recommend visiting this really amazing restaurant

Great restaurant! The food is very good, a large part of the menu is vegetarian/vegan. There is an area with regular tables and one with floor tables and cushions. At peak times and for more than 2 people, I recommend making a reservation.

Amazing experience. The best Nepalese restaurant in Europe imo. Make sure to reserve cos this place is in high demand. The aesthetics are perfect for the place and the food is value for money. The momos are yummm and the sauces are lip smacking. The fried rice was nothing like I've had before. But make sure to take the tea can. It's just 5 euros and they give you so much tea which we can have in these small cut glasses. It's absolutely worth every cent. Service was great too, very sweet people. Loved it so much.

Compared to other restaurants, the veg ones were. Momos not as expected for this price. The dessert is highly recommended. Overall, the feel-good aspect of our stay only had one star.

Food quality was not that great usual nepalese food is very fresh this menu has more of Indian gravy options. The quantity was very good though but quality was not that great. The dal was blah not the usual nepalese pahaadi dal u get in other nepalese restaurants all over the world this was just basic yellow dal. The palak gravy was very good in the veg thali and the paneer sabji we ordered separately was not very good along with the mix veg sabji we had ordered was just filled with dry fruits unlike nepalese style. Overall not satisfied. Thakali was way better restaurant in terms of service and freshness of food quality.
