Complaint about unfriendly behavior and inappropriate treatment in a restaurant Despite having previously requested a table and being assigned a table, it was taken away from us without consultation or any comprehensible reason and given to another group of four. The reason: My mother had initially sat at a neighboring table, which obviously led to misunderstandings – but in no way justified such a rude and dismissive reaction. The staff were neither solution-oriented nor friendly in this situation. Instead, we were informed in an inappropriate tone that the table had been given to someone else, without considering our explanations. As paying guests, we felt unwelcome and in no way valued. I request an explanation for this behavior and expect an apology and measures to ensure that other guests are treated more respectfully in the future.

In the restaurant: You can't come in here!!! The guest gets this feeling every time they visit. Everything is full of red caution tape. “No, you can’t sit here.” From one of the elevators you first have to fight your way through the obstacles set up. A no-go for families with strollers! Eating is a matter of happiness. Sometimes delicious, sometimes without any taste. Service mostly unfriendly. Overall, it's a shame because it was beautifully renovated a few years ago, but you don't feel comfortable due to the circumstances described above. Then prefer the self-service basis and everyone has a free choice of seats!!!

You can sometimes seem unfriendly, it's okay, but the older, slim lady is strict and can't speak politely at all. As a guest you ask her the question "what else is there for cake" when what you would like was out and she answered "everything that is there" I said that I can't see everything and she answered "yes then go and have a look" I said that I was asking about that and finally she mentioned cake as if forced but we have decided to go somewhere else at the moment, I told her that and she said very provocatively with a fake smile "why are you asking if you don't want any" I asked because of that in order to know what there is and if I don't like it, I don't necessarily have to order and she, as a waitress, is not allowed to provoke and ask the question why I'm asking what cakes are available. I recommend her work without customer discussions.

While the restaurant at Hiendl used to be a real attraction, where you could eat comfortably, well and at reasonable prices, the restaurant has increasingly deteriorated since it was taken over by xxxlutz. It is now the case that there is bad food with unfriendly service and a terrible atmosphere at completely overpriced prices. There is no reason to go there anymore. The drinks are also completely overpriced. What a shame!

Larger than small portions but below-average food quality. We come mainly for the children's area where the kids have their fun and we get some peace. The sliding door is somewhat dangerous, and I've seen more than one case where children get their fingers caught. The management has never done anything about it (blocking during opening time). There is everything, but in general, the waiters/waitresses are not too friendly, and if you come with children to the play area, they have sometimes even forgotten to serve us what we had ordered. They imply that you must order a minimum amount to be treated well. Today we had an incident (which prompted me to write this) where we were taken to a table for two people (while already seated at another with two small benches) even though we said we were with two children (but it didn't bother me too much). When we ordered a portion of fries (and nothing else), they said that we didn't need such a large table anyway, boasting in front of the surrounding diners. When we were served, they forgot the ketchup and gave us two empty bottles of it. Some fries fell while serving, and they picked them up with their hand to put them inside again. The napkin they served with was stained with residues that didn't belong to the food. We felt very badly treated and with very little respect. The surrounding diners commented on what happened and even told us that they found it very unprofessional and disrespectful. The waitress should the team. There are other staff members who are polite, but in general, the experience is not very positive (and we have come many times since 2022, also to shop).

Service? Friendliness? ☹️ We have enjoyed going to your restaurant for many years. Whether for breakfast, lunch or a coffee with cake in the afternoon. We always understood if it took a little longer due to increasing customer frequency. The waitresses were always friendly and accommodating. For a few weeks now, however, there has been an increasing sense of tension among the staff, which unfortunately is passed on to the guests. What, despite all understanding, is not possible at all happened as follows: Although we were stopped several times by the waitress on our last visit, we had to wait 35 minutes until it was our turn! The service staff served, served and collected the food in blocks. During this time we have seen a lot of customers come but also leave upset. It's just a good thing that there is Mömax opposite. There you can still find the friendliness and warmth that (in my opinion) the XXXL restaurant has unfortunately lost at the moment. ... too bad...

Our visit to the XXXLutz Restaurant in Passau was an absolute disappointment. As soon as we entered we were greeted extremely unpleasantly. The waitress made unpleasant comments in front of all the guests about how she was “not in the mood anymore” and had “had enough” – even though it wasn’t particularly crowded or stressful. After being ignored for what felt like an eternity, our unfriendly waitress finally came to the table and took our order: two drinks and two dishes. The drinks came very quickly, but the food took forever to arrive. After more than an hour, the waitress came to our table again - not with our food, but with the question of what we had actually ordered. At this point it was clear to us: due to time constraints, we would forego the meal and just want to pay for the drinks. We specifically told the waitress this. But instead of responding to this, she simply disappeared and was no longer seen at our table. We then decided to pay for our drinks ourselves, put €8 on the table and left. The joke about it? The drinks only cost €7.40, which means that we even involuntarily left a tip of €0.60 for this disastrous “service”. Unfortunately we can't rate the food because we simply didn't get any. But what we can rate is the incredibly poor service: disrespectful, chaotic and completely unprofessional. We will definitely not be coming back and will only leave with another negative experience. Thanks for nothing!

The duck leg was soft and not dry, which was a positive. The portion size was reasonable and the overall taste of the food was okay. However, the presentation could be made a little more appealing. The onion soup impressed us in terms of taste, and the Čevapčići dish was very good value for money. A small negative point: Unfortunately, the fries were a bit cold. The waiting times were also a bit long. But for a furniture store restaurant it was absolutely fine!

Today we went to the restaurant for lunch again after a long time. Unfortunately, we discovered that the portions had become extremely small. My Cordon Bleu was smaller than my daughter's Kinderschnitzel. Fries only a handful. My son ordered a Bolognese and my husband ordered a schnitzel bowl. Unfortunately, each of us's food was really bad and didn't taste good at all. We also noticed that at the next table a drink was being served with someone else's lipstick on the glass. The prices are far too high for such extremely poor food and service. Was the last time we ate there.

The food was actually good, but the prices for the drinks are overpriced (water €6.50). Extra ketchup up is way too expensive. The service was nice, but only came to pay after the third request. You are lured in with meal vouchers and then ripped off with drinks and extras.

Wij konden om half 6 nog eten, was alleen nog snitzel werd ons gezegd. Na 20 minuten wachten ineens de mededeling dat ze dicht waren. Daarop gezegd dat wij nog snitzel konden eren maar nee ze waren dicht.... Dit betreft een "luxe" meubelzaak maar het restaurant wat er bij inzit is ver beneden peil. Geen service, zeer klantonvriendelijk! Er liepen meerdere gasten na ons weg omdat zij ook niet bediend werden!

Mit den Gutscheinen war es für uns ein Anlass das Restaurant zu besuchen. Trotz sehr hohen Besucher im Restaurant war das Personal freundlich. Unsere Bedienung, Fr. Sperlich hatte alles im Griff und die Übersicht. Tolles Personal im ganzen Restaurant. Das Essen war perfekt.

Essen war gut, Punktabzug gab es jedoch aufgrund einiger Aspekte. Die Wartezeit, um zu bestellen, war verhältnismäßig lange. Kaum einer der Anwesenden hat sich für unseren Tisch für 3 Personen verantwortlich gefühlt - bis die Aufgaben zwischendurch neu verteilt wurden. Im Besteckkasten lagen keine Gabeln und sie wurden auch nicht nachgereicht, weshalb wir sie vom Nebentisch holen mussten. Positiv jedoch war, dass einige Sonderwünsche bezüglich des Essens erfüllt wurden.

Ich habe eine Glutenunverträglichkeit und habe in dem Restaurant gefragt, ob es etwas gibt, was ich trotzdem essen kann. Die Dame mit der ich gesprochen habe, war so unfassbar nett und hat extra in der Küche ein glutenfreies Gericht für mich organisiert, das so gar nicht auf der Karte stand. Ich bin selten in einem Restaurant so hilfsbereit und freundlich bedient worden.

Waren heute beim Mittag essen da, mussten mehr wie 1 Stunde auf unser Essen warten. Wurden zudem unfreundlich bedient. Mein Essen war nicht durch gegart obwohl ich es nicht Medium wollte bekam ich es mehr als Medium! Als Ersatz wurde mir ein Cappuccino angeboten. Bei meiner Begleitung war kein Ketchup beim Schnitzel dabei ebenso wurde das Eis vergessen. Hätten liebend gerne noch eine Nachspeise bestellt allerdings kam keine Bedienung her und fragte uns ob wir noch was brauchten. Sind dann verärgert nach 2 Stunden gegangen. Unfreundlich hoch zehn der Mann der uns bedient hat! Wenn es ein nächstes mal geben sollte gehen wir zu der netten Dame bei der wir owei waren und zufrieden waren aber heute das war ein Reinfall!

Very few employees, they can't speak German well and you can't understand what they're saying, everything is expensive, and the selection of food is very small, uncomfortable to eat in and there's a bad smell but otherwise delicious

I attempted to enjoy an after work beer here with a colleague. She had frequented the restaurant over the years and only had pleasent things to say. As we tried to sit at the empty bar and order a beer, an elderly gentleman looking rather incensed approached us and asked what we were doing. We explained that we would like to have a beer and chat and would happily be on our way. The man only grew angrier and told us that this was impossible and that the restaurant was hosting a private event that evening. We remained calm and asked if there really was no way that we could sit quietly for half an hour. This put him over the edge and he threatened to call the police! Not shaken by his threat, I politely informed him that his rude and over-the-top behavior had lost our business and that we would never be returning. Upon inspection, a very small sign was taped to the outside window from the other direction that we had entered the restaurant. Having legitimately not seen the sign, we were taken back by his aggressive and abhorrent behavior. I can rightly say that I met an echte bayerische Grantler. Not only did he lose our patronage, I have made it a mission of mine to point tourists to other restaurants in the area. I also just learned that he and his wife are closing down the place after 20 some years in operation. Time to leave the stress behind I hope.

the food is ok, I always enjoy going with my family. But the waiter who works there is a terrible one. I don't know why they let him work with people if he's unfriendly. When you ask something he comments all the time. I don't have a word.
