Food: Plenty of choice and items were constantly replenished. Service: A very friendly and attentive server quickly cleared empty plates and promptly brought drinks to the table. Thank you, Sherry, for the excellent service! Atmosphere: Everything is well thought out; even though it was busy, there was no sense of rush. We felt comfortable and will recommend it!

We are regulars at Xiao in Münster and have always had very good experiences there. Unfortunately, our visit to the Xiao in Marl this time was very disappointing. We arrived around 8:25 p.m., aware of the opening hours and kitchen closing time, and just wanted to grab a quick bite after a long journey. The welcome was very unfriendly as soon as we entered the restaurant. The employee who greeted us was extremely rude and in a bad mood. He was a Black employee – I mention this without any racist intent, as I am Black myself. Throughout our entire visit, his looks and demeanor made us feel unwelcome. The employee at the bar also displayed a negative and unprofessional attitude. We ate very uncomfortably and couldn't really enjoy the food, even though we left well before closing time and there were still other guests in the restaurant. The only positive aspect was the server who brought us our drinks – she was very friendly and professional. I love Xiao, but after this experience, I won't be returning to the Marl location.

We had dinner at Xaio today with a group of 16. The service was excellent – ​​friendly, attentive, and very well organized despite the size of our group. Thank you for the great service, we'll definitely be back!

I can highly recommend XIAO. They replenish items immediately if they run out. They have a large sushi bar, salad bar, and many vegan options. Ice cream and cakes are also available – a huge selection. Plus, you can create your own dish and have it grilled... just insert the numbered chopsticks for the sauce... and you're done.

She was friendly, attentive, and pleasantly unobtrusive. The food was noticeably high-quality: fresh ingredients, excellent flavor, clean preparation, and perfectly timed – nothing was rushed or late. Add to that a pleasant atmosphere and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

I ate here again recently and was thoroughly satisfied. This time Vicky was our server. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, quick, and professional. She kept a watchful eye on our table without making me feel crowded. Thanks to her and Denise Desiree, the plates were cleared quickly and discreetly, ensuring there was never a shortage of space. Denise Desiree showed us to our tables at the beginning. I really appreciated her approachable yet experienced manner. I'm looking forward to seeing them both again next time!

We never went thirsty, and there was no piling up of plates – truly excellent! 👍🏻 We'll definitely be back! Delicious all-you-can-eat buffet. Very large and fresh selection. Unfortunately, I had some bad luck with the sauces; I personally didn't like them. However, the quality was excellent. The price is absolutely justified. The server (Krystina) was efficient, always friendly, and cheerful. Bravo!

We were there again today, January 10, 2026. A large cleaning machine drove through the aisles several times. It was very loud WHILE GUESTS WERE SITTING AND EATING. The Asian noodles repeatedly tasted of nothing. The food got cold quickly, even though it had been warm. How is that possible?? The sushi tastes completely average; it only looks good. Why isn't there beef or pork on the grill?? Why is there so much chicken at the buffet?? You could really tell today that there was no team leader or management present. The duck tasted very good, as did the baguette. The vegetable casserole was very tasty, as were other items. Why aren't there any large, regular spring rolls like you find elsewhere? For the price, it was very poor today; this is not what you expect from Xiao. Disappointing.

Krystina was very accommodating and always quickly collected our plates. The drinks delivery was also always prompt and absolutely reliable! She clearly enjoys her job, and it shows. We had a belated Christmas dinner and Kristina took wonderful care of us. Kristina does a fantastic job; she absolutely deserves the award. We would have taken her along for bull riding, too.

We were guests for my mother's birthday dinner and, thanks to our prior reservation, were greeted with a birthday serenade. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, the entire service team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The food was not only delicious, thanks to the constantly replenished buffet, but the lovely atmosphere also made for a pleasant dining experience.

We went to Xiao this Thursday evening with our two children. It was very pleasant – not too loud and not too crowded, just right for a relaxed family outing. We were warmly welcomed by two very friendly servers, Anita and Viki, who provided attentive service throughout our visit. A big thank you to them! The food was delicious overall and always served hot. I would give the food 4 out of 5 stars. The food was high quality and well-seasoned. My only minor criticism is the selection: I missed having grilled shrimp, and I would have liked a bit more variety in the grilled dishes. Also, some of the sushi fell apart, and the fried sushi was a bit jumbled and piled on top of each other. Nevertheless, we had a very enjoyable evening and would gladly return.

We were group of 12 people for birthdayparty of our grandmother ,we were here before 5 years and we must really say now is Better than before. Food really fresh ,always they fill the empty buffet very quickly,very clean floor ,tables ,chairs in short very clean and good standard . We really enjoyed and our waiter all time available for us ,very friendly really professional with long hair and Bart (sherry )❤️. Our waitress Krystina :) was very attentive and friendly, which definitely made our stay very pleasant. The food was okay; for an all-you-can-eat buffet, I'd even say it was on the higher end. I appreciated that many dishes were MSG-free. The atmosphere is very open and spacious, which can sometimes make it a bit noisy. But overall, it's cozy and perfectly fine.
