Gaststätte Weiss in Marl

We had dinner at Xaio today with a group of 16. The service was excellent – ​​friendly, attentive, and very well organized despite the size of our group. Thank you for the great service, we'll definitely be back!

After reading all the other reviews, I could have sworn I went to a different restaurant... We met up with friends there for the goose buffet for the third time, as it had been excellent the last two years. Yesterday was our last visit. Almost all the dishes were so oversalted that we couldn't eat them. They only replenished the food upon request, and even then, not for half an hour. The oversalted side dishes were still there an hour later, so if you wanted to feel full, you had to fill up on dessert. We will never eat there again, especially not for €46 per person – outrageous!

Sometimes the music is way too loud. So loud, in fact, that you practically have to shout to hear each other.

I'd say this is the best gyros, so deliciously seasoned.
