Gaststätte Weiss in Marl

I finally made it to the Dorfkrug and I'm very impressed.. Location and food really good.. Gladly again..

Absolutely outrageous. There were two of us there. After they showed us to our tables, not a single person came to take our orders. After 45 minutes, I got up myself and asked the bar for someone to come, please?! After 15 minutes, still nothing. We then got up and left. The waitress at the exit said she was very sorry... thank you for nothing.

Hospitable, the food was good, the service was very friendly and attentive.

I was there on Wednesday last week. It wasn't that busy. It was clean and the staff is very friendly. What I don't like at all is the food. There were dumplings, but only one type and without meat. Very unfortunate. The worst thing, however, is the fact that far too much glutamate is used there. A good cook doesn't need one. Please leave it out and ban something like that. It's not healthy. I'm not coming back.

Very nice operator and makes a lot himself. Delicious sauces for example.
