Once again, delicious food at Timberjacks. We hadn't heard of Marl before. Very friendly, attentive service. Thanks to Philipp and his colleagues. All in all, always top-notch!

The ambiance is breathtaking, as is the food. It's beautifully decorated, and everything from the service to the food was excellent. It's definitely worth a visit.

Disappointment on Mother's Day - unfortunately never again I have eaten at Timberjacks Marl several times and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, today's visit for Mother's Day was a complete disappointment. The restaurant was not very busy, but the process was completely uncoordinated. We had ordered a tomahawk steak, which they said had a 40 minute wait - no problem, so we also ordered appetizers. However, these did not come in advance, but only together with the main course, i.e. after a wait of over an hour. Most of the starters were left behind because we were already full after the main course - completely unnecessary. In addition, the service was very poor: After the first drink order, no one asked about any further requests. In the two hours we were there, we were only asked once if everything was OK - and that was after we had already finished eating. In addition to the disappointing process, the quality of the food was unfortunately also poor: The other people at the table had ordered burgers - they were completely burnt, dry and barely edible. When asked about this, we only received a free cappuccino for one person as “compensation”. Absolutely disappointing for a restaurant in this price range. Conclusion: That was my last visit to Timberjacks Marl. Price-performance ratio is not right, service is inattentive, organization is chaotic - despite there being little activity. Poor quality food. No recommendation!

Unfortunately, we had a rather negative experience at Timberjacks yesterday, which was particularly due to the service. We came with 3 small children, one sleeping in our arms. We stood at the front of the reception for a while and when no one came and we were ignored, we went to the bar and asked if we could sit down. The employee said she didn't know, shortly afterwards a waitress came over and said "actually you have to wait at the front". This was not a nice greeting. Finally, we sat at the table at 5:45 p.m. as reserved, we ordered drinks at 6:15 p.m. - that's not possible and there was really little going on at that time. A few tables were occupied. I ordered a brie burger, which according to the menu was vegetarian. This one came with a large brie cheese and a meat patty. With the naked eye you could see that something wasn't right. I immediately asked if it was meat, to which the answer was yes. I said I was vegetarian. The waiter then left with the burger and 30 seconds later was there with the burger without meat. When asked, the meat was not simply taken down. I doubt that, however. There was no reasonable excuse either. Basically our waiter was super nice, everything else wasn't right. Sometimes there were 5 employees standing around us and we didn't manage to order something to drink for the children for 30 minutes because no one could take orders or we were simply ignored. The food was really tasty, so I'll give Timberjacks another try. Maybe we just had a bad day. Then I would also adjust this rating. The atmosphere is just really cool, and so is the menu!

Ten of us came and waited about 1.5 hours for the food and guests around us were already being served. We also waited a long time for drinks. I had the brisket ends and was quite disappointed, little flavor and very firm. I didn't actually know that. The service was generally nice, but in our opinion the very long waiting time didn't help. The fries and the other dishes were good, but quite expensive. We will most likely not come back. Maybe we were unlucky too.

Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful, even though he was left completely alone. But the rest? An imposition. Three waiters for the entire store on a Friday evening is not a challenge, it is simply incompetence in planning. The wait was absurd, and the food? A catastrophe. Loveless, lukewarm and disappointing in taste. During that time we could have played Monopoly with eight people and probably cooked better. Timberjacks Marl – never again.

We had dinner there today on our wedding anniversary, the greeting was very nice, we were shown to our table and a waitress named Jule, a very nice young woman, served us. The drinks came super quickly and we only waited 15 minutes for the food. My husband had a steak with rosemary potatoes and I had chicken strips with mashed potatoes. It was really tasty. And the ambience, I think it's so great. 5 stars are actually far too few, from me 10 stars for the ambience. We definitely weren't there for the last time.

Well, a year ago I really enjoyed coming, but lately it's been getting worse and worse... whether it's meat, burgers or cake... I have no idea what's going on. Actually, I always really enjoy coming. Really a shame

We are absolutely disappointed. The ambience is absolutely brilliant, but the service and the price-performance ratio are really subpar! The burger for €18.90 is not much bigger than a collapsed Big Mac and the highlight were the extra French fries!! A really small handful of fries for €5.90!!! What's more, we waited almost 50 minutes until we got something to drink and it wasn't crowded! We absolutely do not recommend it!!

Hygiene bad!!! I ordered a hamburger, ate half of it and then found a hair in it. After my complaint I was asked if I wanted a new one and I agreed. Shortly after, the waiter came back and informed me that they couldn't make a new hamburger and that I could choose a dessert instead. I hadn't even finished my meal yet. Serving a hygienically unsatisfactory hamburger for a price of €17.90 and not offering a replacement is really a ridiculous and cheap approach.

Hello, we had dinner with you on Easter Sunday with 7 people. When the food was served we noticed that the specially ordered sauces were randomly distributed on the plates. The problem was that there were also hot sauces that couldn't be distinguished from the others. So some people reached into the wrong pot, which was very unpleasant for these people. What I discovered was that my Julienne Fries were already cold. In my other order, the Julienne Fries were completely missing. When asked, they were brought fresh from the kitchen but also cold. The filet mignon I ordered was only hand warm, so I just expected more for the price. Where did the service say what we complained about. Unfortunately the dishes were not exchanged for hot ones and the message was yes, I'll pass it on. Well, what can I say, I still have a voucher that I won't use and I hope that it will be a lot better on my next visit, otherwise unfortunately it was the last one. P.s. But the cake was great as always. We left a total of over €300 behind.

The ambience is great. The service was also very nice. Steak (we all had different ones) was very good. Now comes the unfortunately: The small mixed salad that we had chosen as a side dish was terrible, far too sour, as if it had been dressed with pickles or olive water. We also said that, and after 4 bites we left every salad completely. But as is unfortunately the case these days...we were neither offered to reduce the price by at least one salad, nor an espresso on the house or anything else - so you can see that they don't have the need to please a guest. I think that's a shame because it leaves an aftertaste of the "experience gastronomy". Given the prices quoted here, I think you can expect something like that as a service.

The waitress didn't pay any attention to us for most of the evening and so we were only able to order our food after a while and then had to wait, as I said, for over an hour. The food itself was very tasty, although the portions of fries were small for the price. The place is really nicely done. All in all, I think it's worth going there for more than just burgers.

Mega cool restaurant & location! The lighting, the ambience (live music but subtle and not so prominent), the service and also the food were really VERY good. There were six of us there and everyone was thrilled with the food. I can recommend it to everyone!

We ate here 14 days ago. My meat skewers were very tough and someone else's beef fillet, instead of medium rare, was completely bloody. One waiter wasn't in himself and didn't really bother with us after the food was served. The restaurant itself looks very good, I wouldn't come here again because of the food and service.

I reserved a table for the early afternoon lecture. Hassle-free online. When I arrived there, I was greeted warmly and brought to the table. After placing my order, with helpful comments from the very friendly staff, I was allowed to take a closer look at the location and also take photos. The food came promptly and exactly as ordered and expected. Was pleasantly surprised. Cooking levels perfectly met. All in all, it was a successful visit to Timberjacks Marl for me. I can recommend it. And will definitely visit again

It is always an experience to eat there. Delicious dishes and, above all, very friendly staff.

Actually a great concept, but the extremely small portions, a handful of uncounted fries and the very boring service ruin it. The reserved table was not ready and there were crumbs from the previous guests on the table and benches. It also took a while before we picked up the glasses and plates, so we saved ourselves the dessert and when it came to paying, the enthusiasm of the service staff wasn't very pleasant either. If USA then that's right, but that's service and unfortunately that's missing from you!

The visit to Timberjacks Marl was great all around! The service was great – our waitress was really friendly, attentive and gave really good recommendations. You immediately felt comfortable. The atmosphere was very pleasant - everything is decorated in a really great style that fits the American theme perfectly. You can tell that there is a lot of attention to detail. And the food? Simply incredibly delicious! Regardless of whether it was a burger, steak or side dishes – everything was prepared to perfection and tasted great. At the end, we even got a piece of cheesecake on the house for our 16th birthday - a really nice gesture! The total price for four people was €108.70 or €115, which is absolutely reasonable for the quality and service. We'll definitely be back!

We have been to Timberjacks in Marl several times. Today we ordered a portion of French fries for 5.40 each with the burger (18 and 19 euros each). When the food came, I asked the waiter whether the estimated 20 to 25 fries at 5.40 were a mistake - the waiter said that the chef had given the order to serve only 100g of fries as a portion at 5.40 euros - that makes a kilo price of 54 euros - respect for this margin...by the way, if we had ordered half an hour later (when the chef was out of the house) we would have gotten twice the amount for the same price (as ours). neighboring table) - Comment from the waitress: Bad luck - the chef was just there... In our opinion, that's not possible and it annoys customers - especially with a low-priced filling supplement... We won't be coming back (even if it's only 10 minutes away by bike)!

We reserved a "nice table" for a Saturday evening and got it. Walking into the restaurant, you're a bit overwhelmed. It's truly huge! But beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. The incredibly low noise level, despite the packed place, is worth mentioning! The wood seems to absorb a lot of noise, and we were able to have a pleasant conversation. The food and drinks were consistently good and fairly priced. Our waiter, Olli, was always present, and despite being incredibly busy, he did everything in his power. You'd wish you had waiters like that!

The food is not good. Prime Cut Steak Dry Age unfortunately burnt and extremely dry. Unfortunately, pulled chicken was also dry and not particularly warm. Sweet potato fries and cauliflower and feta with pirmentos were delicious warm. Finally, cheesecake, which was also very tasty. Our waitress was great. But no tables around us were cleared. The three of us were here on November 16th, 2024 (Saturday) to celebrate the birthday of my youngest daughter (21). Since I had been here before, my expectations were very high because I wanted to present my children with a great evening. Unfortunately, the shot backfired. Unfortunately, my review here is not so positive. Given the overwhelmed and unfriendly staff. I wrote really nicely and just described what we experienced. Now after three months I received an email from Google that my review had been deleted due to a complaint from the owner. Reason: defamation. Accusing us of something like that makes me angry. We actually wanted to give you another chance, but that means you're gone as guests.

To cut a long story short, the fifth star is given if the meal doesn't take over 80 minutes, so you urgently need to adapt your kitchen processes & the American shake needs to be given a maximum visual overhaul😅 A proper shake glass, instead of this tankard with a colorful sprinkle wreath🙏 Friends from the States come to your place in the summer for a delicious meal!

Plenty of parking in a central location with other well-known chain restaurants. The ambience was breathtaking both inside and out. Very authentic with attention to detail. The choice of dishes is overwhelming because there is such a large and good selection of food. Also suitable for vegetarians. Homemade lemonades and iced tea are also offered. The price-performance ratio is definitely right. There is something for every price range. The desserts have certain flavors in different versions on offer. It is definitely important to reserve a table early.

Went there with several people and unfortunately I have to say I was very disappointed. The burger meat was more like fried to death (all 5 of them), the quality of the meat was not good, we had to wait forever for drinks. What's more, it's very overpriced.

Very nice atmosphere! The food was, well, my steak was a bit overdone. Otherwise I'm at peace. Sales could have been higher if the waiters had been a little more attentive. Otherwise the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I give the restaurant another chance. I mean that in a positive way.

My steak was absolutely perfect, just the way I wanted it. Plus, the awesome American atmosphere.

The food was a huge disappointment. We ordered a mixed taco platter and a smash burger with fries. The tacos were swimming in oil. The burger bun was completely soggy. It wasn't even toasted. The patty was completely cooked. It was a shame. The atmosphere was very nice. However, the music was very loud. It was impossible to have a conversation.

Absolutely outrageous. There were two of us there. After they showed us to our tables, not a single person came to take our orders. After 45 minutes, I got up myself and asked the bar for someone to come, please?! After 15 minutes, still nothing. We then got up and left. The waitress at the exit said she was very sorry... thank you for nothing.

After a friendly inquiry about whether there was still a table available, 2x 5 people (with reservations) were asked to come to the table. We were left standing there like beggars. From a gastronomic perspective, you don't regulate things like that. But okay, you already know what you're doing.

I've been to a lot of awesome locations, but Timberjack amazes me. Huge, you feel like you're playing in the series Yellowstone. The food is good, just typical American cuisine. Lots of delicious sauces to choose from. Service very nice. That wasn't my last visit

Apart from the shouting in the kitchen and some poor service, everything was perfect. Ambience is fantastic. Very creatively designed. The food 10 out of 10.

The food was, as always, very tasty. Damn hot pans in which the food is prepared take some getting used to. The ambience is very harmonious, but it looked damn dusty, especially when you sit under the big bison head.

We went to Timber Jacks yesterday with a pre-booking. It took 10-15 minutes until we were brought to our table because there were so many people in front of us. OK…. No problem, the lady was quite “friendly”. Then we sat and were told that the young woman would be there soon. This happened 30 minutes later, we then ordered drinks and food! We had to wait 30 minutes for the drinks, which I find quite cheeky! And I mean, at least the catering industry makes its money from drinks... The food came 1 hour later! It wasn't exactly a burner... we were actually expecting a really great burger given the atmosphere... My husband ordered one that had 2 🌶️🌶️ on the menu, far from it it was nowhere near spicy. Fries and burgers were lukewarm. Well, I'm not surprised either, because if you forget to bring the drinks, why not bring the food? 🙄 Well then we ordered drinks as soon as the food came, it had been an hour after all... these drinks didn't come until we saw the lady again and she said "oh I forgot them, the drinks are at the counter" Well, it wouldn't be a problem at all if the service staff had been really stressed, but the staff could really wear their shoes while walking! We weren't the only ones who had to wait! I have never seen such unmotivated staff! Very bad service and no matter how nice the atmosphere there may be, you won't see us there again!

I was pretty disappointed and didn't feel full either. 1. When making a reservation on the Timberjack website, it wasn't a reservation, just an inquiry. The team wanted to report, but the next morning there was still no sign from the Timberjack team. 2. I made a reservation via Google directly on the search page. I was shown straight away when a table was available (unfortunately not at Timberjack). The time was chosen, reserved and confirmed. Then it worked on site. 3. A huge menu to choose from, it all sounds spectacular, but unfortunately it isn't. So the starters were okay in terms of price. The vegetable side dishes were also okay for the price. However, I was very disappointed with the meat dishes. My friend had a dish that we had to Google how to prepare because unfortunately there was no description, but it didn't come up with what we were looking for. A skewer for €29 without any side dishes is already expensive. I had a 400g steak for 49 euros even without any side dishes. I can understand if it is special meat from special animals. But unfortunately this was not explained on the menu or anywhere else. I couldn't find anything about the origin or type of animal. I could have asked, but I think for a restaurant like this it should be explained on the menu. The waitress already had more than enough to do. So I definitely wasn't full. 4. I then wanted to order another dish that might have filled me up. Unfortunately the waitress told us that the kitchen had already been open for 30 minutes. to have. Thanks to the reservation chaos, we weren't there until 8 p.m. even though we had requested a table for 7:30 p.m., but unfortunately we didn't hear anything from Timberjack, so I had to reserve again via Google. Unfortunately, neither the staff nor the menu or anywhere else mentioned how long the kitchen was open. So in other restaurants it is pointed out that the kitchen, for example. Only open until 9 p.m. if someone comes late. Of course, when it's full, there's a lot to do. Very nice restaurant with many small and large details. We didn't have to wait more than 15 minutes for the food and the prices were good too. We'll definitely be back!

I'm sorry for giving a bad rating for the food. We ordered churrascos and brisket. The Churrascos says great. Especially when the waiter lit it with alcohol. But the meat was completely raw. The brisket was so dry. The name briquettes would suit the food better. The staff was super nice and took the criticism into account. As an apology we received two pieces of cake on the house. We would love to come back again. But I wouldn't order these dishes again and try something else.

Been there for breakfast for the 3rd time today and we'll be there a fourth time too. Great atmosphere, waiters super nice and food super good. 100% recommended, we all felt very comfortable and the food was very tasty.

Excellent quality, nice staff and very short waiting times! The whole restaurant was full and we waited between 5 and 10 minutes until we received the food (4 dishes). The Snickers cake is definitely worth its price (€5.30). We will definitely come back, thank you for the lovely evening!🙏🥳

Great atmosphere inside and outside. I would recommend a reservation on the weekend. Nice service, waitress always present. The order was placed very quickly and the offer was already large. The dishes were beautifully prepared and tasted completely convincing. The only downside is the portion size, which can be a bit poor depending on what you order. In my opinion, fries or coleslaw with the burger could have been larger. This isn't a problem anywhere else, But otherwise it was a nice evening. And if you want, you can stock up on the in-house merch after your meal.

If you want a breathtaking ambience you have to go there. Service was very slow even though there wasn't much going on at the time. Drinks were brought very slowly. A colleague ordered medium rare and it was bloody. Service offered that we could fry it longer instead of preparing a new one. My rip eye 400 grams for €45 wasn't great in terms of taste, maybe I was just unlucky. I ordered sweet potatoes for €6.80, sorry the quantity was a disgrace for me. Unfortunately, my conclusion is rather sobering. I'm sorry. With about 10 people on site, 8 out of 10 weren't thrilled.

We had dinner there on a Saturday with 7 people. The restaurant is totally understaffed, so we had to wait 3/4 hours for our drinks, and in general all orders simply took too long. The burgers and steak we ordered were good. You should take the Juillien fries off the menu, they taste like soggy potato sticks. The children's portion of mac & cheese was inedible and has absolutely nothing to do with mac & chesse as we know it. In general, it is not a cheese sauce that you should use for a dish like this. The chicken skewers were dry. The basic sauce selection was pretty cool. If the right ones are delivered. Coffee came without milk and with ice cream for dessert, they forgot to write on the menu that the lemon ice cream was not fruit ice cream. But milk lemon ice cream and then it's vegan. It just tastes like shit and wasn't well tolerated. The other flavors like vanilla and banana weren't really tasty either. Conclusion: poor service, sometimes incorrect deliveries or forgotten items and the food and dessert were not convincing. Worst American restaurant I've eaten at.

The two of us were there on a Friday evening. All places were occupied. We had reserved. If I was lucky I wouldn't go there on the weekend. It's better to reserve in advance. Based on the various reviews, we were very excited about the food. Our waitress, Bianka, was very nice and gave us good advice. We had rib eye and fillet, onion blossom, fries and ice cream (Oreo cup) for dessert. The food came reasonably in half an hour. The meat was exactly as we ordered it (medium rare), the fries were sufficient and tasty. The ice cream was great. All in all a successful evening. The prices were on the upper limit (for us), but in my opinion you can pay these prices for this quality. As already mentioned, the service was very friendly and accommodating, despite the large number of guests. Smells like repetition. We're glad we didn't let the negative reviews put us off.

Have been there several times and will come again

The ambience alone makes it worth a visit. Large selection of food and drinks. What we ate was very good and the staff was friendly. Perfect.

Was at Timberjacks yesterday for the Super Bowl. The furnishings are super cozy, you immediately feel at home. Due to the event there was a smaller menu, but the food was very tasty. The staff was friendly and well organized. All in all, a successful evening – I’d love to come back!

Were there for the 3rd time now, unfortunately there are a lot of things to complain about, first of all the service was terribly bad on all 3 visits, the first time the waitress spread the drinks all over the table and also over a friend's clothes... there was no apology just an oops then I get new drinks and then we went to another table... later we had a drink 4!! Ordered 4 times, "I'll bring it straight away" but unfortunately the drink never arrived. The second time we were there on business....also there was poor, lame service.....well and the third time we were invited.....10 people, 2 steaks for 45€+ not the desired cooking level....one steak was about 2-2.5 cm thick on one half, the other half was only 1-1.5 cm... something like that shouldn't come out of the kitchen at a steakhouse, because you certainly don't have the right cooking level I can't manage with such a piece of meat...impossible...for a steakhouse it's a disgrace and finally the food was brought to the 10 people by just one service person...first all the main courses and the side dishes for the steak came when I had already eaten half of the steak (so that the meat didn't have to be eaten cold...two employees have to bring the food to the table...one of me brought the meat, the other the accompanying side dishes... 3 chances, fell in 3 times...in the future we'll go to a good steakhouse again...It's a shame, because the location itself is great, but what's the point if the service and quality aren't ok.

Great location and great ambience, the service was again first class. I can only recommend the restaurant if you are in the area... and of course the food is also very good and not the standard selection like everywhere else.

Good meat and friendly service.

The corporate design is admittedly sensational for Germany, but the fact that merchandise is also sold there is a smart move from a marketing perspective. The look reminds me of a mix between Texas Roadhouse and Outdoor World. The reception and service during our visit was quite good, although the food was not to our liking. The dishes have the quality of system catering. I didn't see the origin of the steaks; I can't imagine that this is meat with the USDA seal of quality, otherwise it would certainly have been declared as such. I would definitely come back for the atmosphere but not to eat there.
