We had a wonderful time at L'Osteria Marl today. Our daughter turned 11, and she wanted to go out for delicious pizza with her friends. The pizzas were fantastic as always, the service was amazing, and Dominik and his colleagues really spoiled us! It was a relaxing time. The weather was great, so we could even play outside. At the end, they even sang "Happy Birthday" to her! We were so happy about that, and also about the sweet little surprise! Thank you, thank you! ♡ We'll definitely be back! ☆Grazie di tutto from the Porst family.☆

They serve very, very large pizzas here, delicious and with a thin crust! The service is very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is okay. However, there's a draft in every nook and cranny. Unfortunately, it's quite unsuitable during the cold season.

We were here on an early Monday evening and it was quite busy. I've rarely experienced such attentive service. The friendly waiter drew our attention so well to the daily specials that we decided to order something from the menu instead of our usual dish. And he was right, it tasted fantastic! The service was quick and attentive. The ambiance was nice, but like all trendy restaurants, it was very noisy.

We moved from Schleswig-Holstein to Marl and were looking for a pizzeria. Today's visit to L'Osteria Marl was a real find, as there's plenty of parking and lots of comfortable seating both inside and out. The service team is very attentive and friendly. The friendliness of the two owners, with whom we chatted, was also remarkable. We ordered a 45 cm pizza, which we shared because of its size. The size of the pizza and the way it was prepared were new to us northerners, as the thin crust was reminiscent of a French tarte flambée. Our barbecue pizza tasted excellent. We're already looking forward to our next visit and have even booked a birthday brunch. UPDATE: Today, November 2nd, we went to L'Osteria for a birthday brunch with seven people: Grandma, children, and grandchild. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The food on offer was varied and delicious. The buffet was typically Italian, with pizza, pasta, and similar dishes, but there was also bread, rolls, croissants, cold cuts and cheese platters, a salad bar, cakes, and various desserts. Unlimited coffee was included in the price; other drinks were extra. We would especially like to thank the attentive and friendly service team. We would gladly return.

A portion of pasta simply isn't enough to fill a grown man up. We pointed this out and were told that the amount of pasta is fixed and nothing can be done about it. It's a shame to leave a restaurant still hungry.

I was there for the third time today, this time with my husband and our daughter. We had bruschetta, lasagna, zucchini spaghetti with shrimp, and BBQ pizza, and chocolate soufflé for dessert. The soufflé with mango sorbet is definitely our favorite. The rest was also delicious, good, down-to-earth Italian food. BBQ-style pizza isn't everyone's cup of tea, I think. My husband will also have the classic tonno next time. Service was super friendly. They apologized several times for the wait. But we found it perfectly acceptable. I think short breaks between courses are better than eating everything one after the other. That way, you can let each course sink in a bit and then enjoy the next one. Prices are, like everywhere else. We found them generally okay. I just found the price of the bottle of water and the glass of Coke a bit steep. The only distraction is the music. Although today, we were there at 3 p.m. on a Sunday, the volume was acceptable. The last time I was there with my girlfriend, it was a Friday night, and the music was a bit too loud. It was quite difficult to have a conversation. That's why we only gave it 3 stars for the ambiance. We'll definitely be back.

Everything was perfect. We felt sorry for the waiter. He was all alone. That's unacceptable! He handled it fantastically.

Today I went to Losteria with my daughter to carve pumpkins. We had booked in a week in advance. The description said each child gets apple spritzer and a goodie bag, including €15 for the carving. However, there weren't enough goodie bags. It's obviously not nice for a child when they see all the children have Halloween bags. There wasn't enough apple spritzer either. The employee then told me I could have spoken up. The table had already been cleared because it was only open until 3 p.m. My child was then given a bag of pizza rolls with a few gummy bears. The employee reacted rather angrily to my request and told me that €15 was already cheap and that they had staff costs. A little tip: as an adult, I don't cry over a bag of sweets. But in another shop, they might have given the child a scoop of ice cream as "consolation" or something similar. But you don't get outraged. Losteria's food tastes good, no question, but with "service" like that, no thank you.

Melli was our server tonight, and I have to say, she did a fantastic job! A dream! We'll be back—and it's definitely because of her!

We went to L'Osteria for an Italian brunch. Overall, it was delicious; they offer free filter coffee and a wide selection of food. The only downside is the food, as the breakfast selection was quite limited for my taste, and the scrambled eggs weren't kept warm enough. Otherwise, everything was excellent, and for the price, it was a great brunch!

Hello. The food was good, but unfortunately, the wait between starters, main courses, and dessert was far too long. We had to keep asking for our turn. Unfortunately, despite having a reservation, we were kept waiting in line for a long time; everyone kept walking past, and even then, we had to ask for our turn.

I've been to this restaurant several times now, and each visit has been a complete success! A huge compliment goes to Marco and Daniel – they served us superbly, were consistently friendly, attentive, and very polite. They make you feel welcome and in good hands. The service is quick and courteous, without being intrusive. This is exactly what you'd expect from a perfect restaurant visit. Thank you so much – I'll be back!

I'm truly disappointed with the service and everything else except the food. I specifically wrote in the description that we'd get a comfortable and adequate seat, but then we got a very cramped spot where there wasn't even enough room to eat properly. And this isn't the first time it's happened, but the third time. It's just no fun going back.

We always enjoy coming here. Everyone gets their money's worth here.

I would have liked a pizza, but the waitress just kept grinning at us without taking our order. After about half an hour, we left the restaurant without eating anything. It's a shame, so it only gets one star.

Amazing food here. We were here today, like we are almost every week. But I have to say, no matter how bad a mood you're in or what kind of day you've had, when Marco serves you, all your worries are forgotten. Sure, the other cellars also have very good facilities and make you laugh, but Marco lives and breathes L'Osteria. Thanks for the lovely evening and here's to many more visits.

The two of us went out to eat: two pizzas (one "Cesare Pollo" and one "degli Artisti") and two appetizers, along with two large Cokes and a small San Pellegrino. We ended up paying almost €80 – completely disproportionate. The quality was disappointing, more reminiscent of a fast-food restaurant. The "Cesare Pollo" pizza was 90% salad, barely any chicken, and almost no sauce – I've never seen anything like it. The appetizers were also unconvincing. Plus, we had to wait almost 20 minutes for just two pizzas. The ambiance is nice and the waitress was very friendly, but the quality is disproportionate to the price. Truly unacceptable. And if you're going to play Italian music, please play it in Italian – not Spanish versions of Eros Ramazzotti.

We went to L'Osteria today and had a really good experience. The food was delicious, and our waiter, Marco, was incredibly friendly and attentive. You can tell he enjoys his job. We'll be back. 🍕😊

We got a seat quickly and our order was also quick. First, the almost cold pizza arrived, after a maximum of 5 minutes. Our special request for toppings wasn't really implemented. When we asked, we were told that one more topping per quarter was the special request. Next came the bruschetta, followed by the drinks. We finished faster than charging the car next door.

We were there today to celebrate our daughter passing her driving test. In short, a warm welcome, a great atmosphere, and truly wonderful staff who go above and beyond to serve their guests. Our server, Marco, went above and beyond. The pizza wasn't quite my cup of tea because it was simply too dry and too doughy for me. But that's probably a matter of taste, like everything in life. All in all, we had a great time!

We were greeted warmly, but somehow you could tell that it was about to be a shift change and the day must have been very long so far. Unfortunately, we weren't given the special menu with the new seasonal dishes; we only found out later that there were new dishes. A colleague took over, and from then on, everything changed. You can tell when someone takes their job seriously and is dedicated to their job. This person was a host, not a server. It didn't feel like a restaurant, but rather like being at a good friend's house. I wish the colleague had greeted us too; then everything would have been perfect. Thank you so much! A very pleasant evening with good food. The service was excellent, and we felt very welcome. They go the extra mile here. The only downside was that they only had Krombacher and Erdinger Hefeweizen on tap. Other locations also offer Helles. But at least they have Peroni, albeit only in bottles.

The restaurant and the pizza are already familiar. We went for brunch today for the first time and were absolutely thrilled. A fantastic selection, with constantly restocked dishes and ever-changing variations. I took a step back with the photos today, so I'll just share a few snapshots of part of the buffet. Everything from cold to hot, sweet to savory is there. At just under €15, including filter coffee, the value is outstanding.

A restaurant where you feel very comfortable. Our waiter introduced himself as Marco, and he served us very attentively throughout the evening. In addition to excellent service, there was always something to laugh about, and the staff were also very joking, which made the evening even better. It was our first time there. Everything was perfect. It won't be our last. The pizza was huge, wafer-thin, and fabulously flavorful. The pasta was also delicious! The service from Marco was very pleasant, friendly, and fun!

At the beginning (from 4:30 p.m.), the service was pleasant and varied. At our final stop, around 6:30/6:45 p.m., and after repeated requests, we waited in vain for the opportunity to order dessert. Negative! We paid €190 and left L'Osteria Marl without dessert.

It was simply fantastic. The pasta with fresh peppercorns was very good. The portion was too large for me because of my gastric bypass, but I packed up the leftovers. And they were still delicious on the second day.

I celebrated my 66th birthday with guests in July. My guests and I were very pleased with the selection of dishes and the service was very friendly and attentive. There was even a piece of tiramisu with a candle. I would do it again. Otherwise, we enjoy eating there often anyway. Keep up the good work.
