L´Osteria Marl in Marl

We were there on October 3rd. Spontaneously eat at L'Osteria late in the evening. Despite the fact that it was just before 10 p.m., we received the best service in a long time. The service employee really had fun at work and rounded off a great evening for us. As is typical for L’Osteria, the food was really, really tasty. We were there until closing time and we were still not made to feel unwelcome or pressured to leave. We would love to come back again. The evening couldn't have been better.

The food is good, but as soon as it gets a little busier the service can't keep up. Unfortunately, too much of the brunch ran out way too early and couldn't be replenished.

Complaining at a high level... nevertheless, the white pomodori on my 14 euro salad were soggy. Mi dispiace, ma something like that can be avoided. Otherwise fine. grace

We were at L’Osteria in Marl yesterday and I have to say, I was very positively surprised! The kitchen did a great job. But our waitress (Lenie) also made our evening better. Her attentive and cheerful nature often made us smile. We look forward to next time and would love to come back!

Very tasty food and super nice staff! Everything depends on the staff. Happy to come back! Update 10/8/24 Unfortunately, the dish (pasta with crayfish) is different every time. This time the carrots, zucchini and rosemary were completely missing. After complaining, 3 small carrots and a strip of zucchini were placed in the same noodles, there was still no trace of rosemary and the food was cold. When paying by card, the tip is immediately set aside at 10%, 15% etc. instead of offering the guest all the options. So I don't like coming back anymore. Were there with 6 girls, everyone's pizza was absolutely cold, hardly any toppings, very long waiting time when spoken to, no response, comment was..... I only deliver! What else can you say? Not again......

We had a really nice evening yesterday! My best friend and I are used to good service from L'Osteria, but our visit last night topped everything! Although it was very busy, we were warmly welcomed, our orders were taken very quickly and served quickly despite the high number of guests. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, the atmosphere was cozy. However, I would like to highlight the service team, especially Patrick and Henning, a masterpiece in terms of service. Friendly, warm with the right amount of humor and passion for the job! Effort is being made here! Keep it up, we'll be back! :)

If you want to enjoy L’Osteria, go to this location. My best friend and I spontaneously drove here yesterday and it was a wonderful evening. Despite the high volume, the employees were very warm and professional and the atmosphere in the store was relaxed. The drinks came quickly and the food tasted great. The pumpkin soup from the seasonal menu was my culinary highlight. I would particularly like to highlight the great service on the day. A big thank you and praise to Henning & Patrick who gave us such a great evening including the spider rescue :D We felt very comfortable and will definitely stop by more often.

We are making our way from Münsterland especially for the delicious food. Much more space in summer than in winter. The two tables are a little too narrow for the giant pizzas. And 10 stars to Ailine !!!!!************

We are regular guests and always super satisfied 😊. The pizza is just great 🍕, and the coffee tastes really good ☕! Henning in particular ensures that everything runs perfectly every time, thank you for that. He is friendly, attentive and even always takes loving care of our dog 🐕😁

Table reserved for 2 at 7:30 p.m., was there 5 minutes earlier and immediately assigned to the table, looked at the menu and after about 2 minutes made a selection and put it aside. Waited a total of 50 minutes without any service, neither drinks nor food, no one asked if everything was OK. Tables next door, some of which arrived later, were already served with food, and after a 50 minute wait they simply got up and left. Very disappointing.

Delicious pizza, good service, everything great.

The highlight: going to the toilet. You walk up a very nice wooden staircase in a tower, then over a bridge to reach the toilet. When you get to the toilet you learn Italian at the same time. Only the water jet at the sink is a little too strong. Otherwise everything was tip top. Even the small child behind us at the table couldn't be heard.

Jihad always asked if we wanted anything else, but not too pushily. I recommend it to everyone

Given the chance 5 times and disappointed 5 times. Extremely long waiting times of 45 minutes are standard. Help! Then the pizzas are hard and the salads are mushy. Staff is hectic and scheduled.

We were there for lunch and it is typical L’Osteria, Italian charm, nice ambience, very large parking lot and typically good to very good Italian food. The pizzas are huge and everything is reasonably priced. The service staff was very friendly and repeatedly asked about our well-being.

We came spontaneously around 10:30 p.m., the staff was very nice and gave us a table straight away. What struck us most was Marco, with his very friendly and warm manner, from start to finish. So I asked him what his name was and how I could rate him. Apart from the very warm service and the very nice staff, the food was also very, very good. I ordered a tuna pizza, the pizza was about 5 times the size of my head, and the price was more than reasonable. We were all fed up and were more than happy with the food and service, hence the well-deserved 5 out of 5 star rating. Highly recommended, gladly again!

Five of us had dinner there last night. We sat outside and then unfortunately discovered that there was a problem with rats. The beasts were cavorting behind us in the hedge. A guest at the next table kept trying to scare the animals away because the women at his table had now put their legs up on the chair. The rats didn't feel disturbed at all by our dogs either. When a rat came out of the bushes and ran over our feet, we were fed up and we quickly left our table and paid at the front of the restaurant. We've eaten there several times and have to say that we won't be coming back again because the waitress also told us that she had passed this on to a supervisor and no one came to take care of the problem. Guests cannot have to try to scare away the rats.

Really good for a franchise system restaurateur. A must for all XXL pizza lovers. The size of a wagon wheel, crispy and very tasty. Price/performance is totally right.

Sorry, but the tables could really be cleaned before the next guest. Addendum: We visited the Losteria today (September 1st). Unfortunately, we were attacked by so many flies, horseflies and wasps in the restaurant that we had to sit down with our food at another table in the "winter garden". After a while the awning was retracted, so that we felt like we were in an incubator. Even when asked, the awning could not be extended again. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the pizza (which was actually a bit oily). Therefore we will no longer visit the store.

Today I went to Losteria Marl for dinner and we received a friendly welcome. The food arrived promptly and everything tasted very good. We were served by an extremely friendly and attentive waitress. She was in a good mood and quick, which made our visit even better. Thank you for the great service!

L’Osteria - A culinary highlight with excellent service I recently had the pleasure of dining at L’Osteria and I must say it was an outstanding experience. I would particularly like to highlight the fantastic service provided by Mr. Henning. His kindness, professionalism and attentiveness made the evening very special. Mr Henning made sure we felt welcome from the start. He was always there to accommodate our needs and impressed us with his charming manner and extensive knowledge of the menu. His recommendations were excellent and enriched our evening culinary.

We had not made a reservation (2 people) and we were treated accordingly. The very nice lady saw us at the door, picked us up and accompanied us to a nice place. Everything was great!... before we could sit down, the waiter with black hair and a piercing in his ear came and asked us nicely if we already had a seat. yes... Then he wanted to know who gave us this place and went to the nice waitress to discuss (swearing) with her that she should give us another simple place... We have the not so nice discussion with us.. and we couldn't sit down, we still didn't really have a place... After he was done with his unpleasant discussion, he came to us and said literally... You can still sit down... we'd better go Herne you will be treated better there.

Nice restaurant with extremely large and delicious pizzas. You shouldn't expect a Neapolitan pizza, but it's still delicious. Longer waiting times do occur, but are justifiable given the number of visitors. The workforce deserves particular mention. Such a good mood and humorous service is really rare

Pizza was delicious, unfortunately a bit greasy but still crispy. Service was also completely satisfactory. You could have a good chat with the waitress Caro and get good advice. Overall a very pleasant visit, I'd love to come back!

Today I ordered a pizza to be picked up by phone at 1:15 p.m. I was there to pick it up at 1 p.m. to avoid the pizza being ready a little earlier and then only being lukewarm or even cold. After I gave my name and the order, the waitress went into the kitchen, which you can see from the side of the counter. I could see that my pizza was already baked and packed in a pizza box in the pizza oven and kept warm there. When asked about this (especially what would have happened if I had only come to pick it up at 1:15 p.m. as ordered), the service person only said that the pizza would have been baked for half an hour, complete with the box, in the pizza oven. I still accepted the pizza (even though it was only lukewarm) because otherwise it would have been thrown away, which shouldn't happen these days. No apology or anything like that from the service staff. At home (the journey took approx. 3 minutes) the pizza was cold and tough... oh yes: the prices on pizza day were increased by approx. 33% (Wednesdays)!

If I could give minus stars, I would. So I consciously choose the store here for my birthday and what happens? The food doesn't come because we were forgotten! Then at some point the waitress came and seriously asked us if we would like to order anything else! We told her we would like our food. It then turned out that our order hadn't even arrived in the kitchen yet. After almost 2 hours our food arrived and to make matters worse, it was wrong! Pizzas that we didn't order. Great birthday evening! Thanks for that! Never again!!

I have no idea what was going on tonight. First of all, you wait about 45 minutes until the pizzas you ordered (quickly) come to the table - and the restaurant was maybe 40% full - and then half of the pizza is wrong. It was then returned and was immediately ordered again, but then I had to wait another 45 minutes for the other half - no thanks! In fact, while we were there, at least 2 other tables also had their orders incorrectly delivered. The later billing at our table was also incorrect, so we had to pay too much and then everything had to be booked again. Unfortunately, the free reparation pizza cannot achieve a better rating. Phew, all in all, today was a waste of life.
