Das Personal ist der freundlich und nett. Das Essen war nicht meins, ich habe mir Leber bestellt,die Leber war leider zu trocken.

Das Personal ist super freundlich ! Das Ambiente ist top . Und das Essen ist ein Traum und sehr reichhaltig . Ich persönlich kann nur dieses Lokal empfehlen 👍👍👍

Wir waren heute im Restaurant „Bei Ivan“ in Marl und kann es absolut weiterempfehlen. Schon beim Betreten fühlt man sich willkommen, die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und familiär. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und schnell, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Das Essen hat mich besonders überzeugt. Die Gerichte waren frisch zubereitet, geschmacklich hervorragend abgestimmt, ausreichend und schön angerichtet. Man merkt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gekocht wird. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist mehr als fair. Ob für ein entspanntes Abendessen, ein Treffen mit Freunden oder einen besonderen Anlass – „Bei Ivan“ ist definitiv eine gute Wahl. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Makedonci 😉

Sehr gepflegtes Balkan Restaurant mit sehr gutem Essen in ordentlichen bis großen Portionen zu fairen Preisen! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend aber nicht aufdringlich! Parkplätze sind am Haus vorhanden! Kommen garantiert und gerne wieder! Im Restaurant kann man in Bar oder mit EC (keine Visa) Karte bezahlen!

Ich gehe nun schon seid mehr als 30 Jahren in dieses Restaurant. Früher mit meinen Eltern und heute ,mit meiner eigenen Familie. Ich kann mit gutem Gewissen sagen, dass ich noch nie enttäuscht wurde!!! Der Empfang und Service ist immer top, professionell ja schon fast familiär. Die Speisen sind durchweg erstklassig 🤤. Preislich, kann man sich auch nicht beschweren! Das Ambiete ist urig und sehr gemütlich. Wir werden auch die nächsten 30 Jahre, diesem Restaurant die Treue halten. Bitte macht weiter so 👌 DANKE 🙂

Ein super Ivan Essen gut Bedienung gut alles gut

Die Kellnerin war sehr unfreundlich ,so als hätte sie keine Lust zum Arbeiten, nur ec Zahlungen möglich hätte man beim reservieren erwähnen sollen. Der Kellner hinterm Tresen war sehr nett und freundlich. Essen war in Ordnung.

Wir waren vor einigen Tagen mal wieder bei Ivan essen. Da wir zur Weihnachtszeit dort waren, war es sehr voll und beengt. Die Tische standen extrem nah beieinander, teilweise wurden an einen sehr engen Tisch sogar noch weitere Personen dazugesetzt. Wollte man seinen Platz verlassen, musste man sich an Gästen und Mitarbeitenden vorbeiquetschen. Der Ablauf des Essens war sehr hektisch. Wir hatten eine Vorspeise bestellt, doch noch bevor diese vollständig aufgegessen war, wurde bereits der Salat serviert. Kaum hatten wir mit dem Salat begonnen, kam auch schon die Hauptspeise an den Tisch. Dieses schnelle Servieren hat uns etwas überfordert und ließ kaum Zeit, die Vorspeise und den Salat in Ruhe zu genießen. Dadurch entstand der Eindruck, dass der Aufenthalt eher kurz gehalten werden sollte, damit schnell wieder Platz für neue Gäste geschaffen wird. Geschmacklich war das Essen insgesamt gut, allerdings waren die Teller teilweise sehr klein, sodass sich die Speisen darauf stapelten. Preislich war alles im Rahmen und absolut in Ordnung. Positiv hervorzuheben ist der Service: Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter waren durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und bemüht, trotz des hohen Gästeaufkommens einen guten Eindruck zu hinterlassen.

Wir waren am 28.10. seit etwas längerer Zeit mal wieder hier, weil wir eigentlich immer sehr gerne dort gegessen haben. Es war der 70.Geburtstag meines Mannes und wir dachten uns, gehen wir mal lecker essen. Leider muss ich sagen, das es für uns das letzte Mal war, das wir dort waren. Los ging es schon damit, das die Soße die sich mein Mann zu seiner Vorspeise bestellen wollte versucht wurde auszureden. Dann kamen die Hauptgerichte, die eine totale Enttäuschung waren. Das Fleisch war so durchgebraten, dass es so hart war wie Schuhsohlen, kalt war das Essen noch dazu und die Soßen hatten die Konsistenz von Tapetenkleister. Der Kellner hat sich die ganze Zeit versucht herauszureden und zahlen mussten wir natürlich den vollen Preis. So geht es leider nicht.

Leckeres Essen zu zivilen Preisen, freundliche und aufmerksame Mitarbeiter.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant und es hat eine sehr schöne und angenehme Atmosphäre, freundliches Personal, angemessene Preise und, was noch wichtiger ist, das Essen ist köstlich. Ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem wärmstens empfehlen.

Sehr lecker, und Preis Leistung super

Ich war heute wieder einmal bei Ivan, wo ich früher oft und gern gegessen habe. Das Essen sah zunächst gut aus, aber geschmacklich war es leider enttäuschend: Meine Soße war viel zu stark reduziert und dadurch extrem salzig – selbst als jemand, der Salz eigentlich mag, war das kaum essbar. Ich habe dann nur die Pommes gegessen. Meine Begleitung hatte einen Salat mit Rumpsteakstreifen – das Fleisch war leider komplett durchgebraten und dadurch trocken. Als wir am Ende gefragt wurden, wie es geschmeckt hat, habe ich ehrlich geantwortet. Darauf wurde ich hingewiesen, dass man solche Dinge sofort sagen müsse – was ich zwar nachvollziehen kann, aber am Ergebnis (überwürzte Soße, trockenes Fleisch) wohl nichts geändert hätte. Gefordert wurde trotzdem der volle Betrag. Nach schwierigen Verhandlung wurde er etwas reduziert. Woanders wäre die Pommes aber günstiger. Ich war früher oft zufrieden, aber die Qualität hat leider deutlich nachgelassen. Schade, denn das Lokal hat eigentlich Potenzial.

Ich war heute bei Ivan und habe mir dort ein Hacksteak bestellt, die Nummer 131 von der Speisekarte, dazu ein Malzbier. Als ich hereinkam, war das Restaurant schon relativ voll besetzt, aber der nette Restaurantleiter hat mir einen Tisch zugewiesen. Das Essen war vorzüglich, inklusive Salat.

I went there because someone told me, that she went there with her parents when she was little, and had good memories of it, after watching all the positive reviews, I thought why not. It is the first time that I didn't finished my steak, not even half of it, the texture was completely of, more like it was blended and realy dry, when I told them it was baked to much, they answered that I didn't tell them how I liked my steak, but they never asked, since I had an appetizer first, I thought, they would ask it later, and then it slipped my mind, till they brought it, and it was well done. I thought accidents happen, but then I heart complaints from 2 other tables... so I don't know how they had so good reviews, but, they shouldn't have, there are better ones close by. Also the menu had no prices, you had to ask, they had a good stake on sale for 25 euro black agnus, so I thought the normal ones would be around the same range or a bit more, but they asked 38,5 euro for that piece I couldn't finish. The person who came along, tried it also, and didn't like it all either, I didn't dare to take much pictures, since they were a bit aggressive about it.... you can see the almost completely left over steak nicely black in the plate when I gave it to another person to try...

Today we had to pick up something because we couldn't go due to illness. Always amazing, both the quality of the food and the quantity. Of course, eating in a restaurant is much nicer, but in a pinch...?

Very nice restaurant. Just found it looking for a place with a varied menu. Very happy with this one. The servixe was fantastic, it was fast. Clean, clean bathrooms, good athmosphere. They made changes as i wanted to the dish, due to restrictions i have. The food was 4 out of 5 because for me everything was salty as i am sensitive. My husband gives 5 stars:-) he had a balkan dish, meat stuffed with cheese. Exciting, tasteful. He was amazed by the super peppersauce, it actually tasted pepper. Very happy we decided to come. We dont speak german, but it was fine due to an understanding waiter, google and the guests next to us. Recommend you to try this restaurant.

Not much going on for a motorcycle meeting on Sunday with great weather. Nice seating outside. Food average chip shop, prices in the upper range.

As always, super tasty and very plentiful! :-) Waiters are always very friendly and happy to joke sometimes. Furnishings are a little dated but still very comfortable. Always happy to come here!

We reserved a table on Sunday evening and were greeted warmly by the staff. The atmosphere was very friendly and the food was simply great. We had a lovely evening and weren't here for the last time.

Even though we were there spontaneously and it was quite full, a place was organized for us. The food was really excellent the meat was spicy and special. I thought the prices were very good, 65 for 3 people including drinks. I can only recommend it and will now come regularly.

The food is delicious. The service is top notch! The atmosphere is outdated. The hygiene in the toilet was not up to par.

We celebrated my mother's 90th birthday there yesterday. Everything was great!!! As always, the food tasted very good, the portions are generous, and you can have the leftovers packed up. The operation and service are very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the toilet rooms are a bit small for wheelchairs and walkers. The atmosphere is very cozy and clean. We'd love to come back!! We love this restaurant... unfortunately too far away to visit it more regularly. Prices are completely okay, we check on a regular basis and we have everything. Unfortunately, according to the staff, there was no dessert because it was too crowded; hence a star deduction. We always like to come back, the owners are super nice and hospitable

Ordered food there again for a long time. In the past, I was actually always satisfied in both the old and the current location. Ivan was always a good point of contact for us. However, we were quite disappointed with this order. The meat was relatively tasteless and very tough. You had the feeling that you were served poor quality pieces of meat. In addition, the fries were fried far too short and were correspondingly soggy. With all the dishes we received, we had a lot on our plates. So we would have been full. The quality was more of a problem. So it's better not to eat it. 🤷‍♂️ All in all, we probably won't order there again. Too bad! 😢 Greetings to the team. Please bring the old quality back to the plate. Then we'll come back. P.S. I gave the atmosphere 4 stars because I know it's really nice there.

Just what you expect in Germany!

We visited Ivan for the second time today and were 120% satisfied again. Not only is the food super tasty and plentiful. The prices are more than reasonable, the atmosphere is very cozy, and the service is second to none. We had someone with walking difficulties with us and everything was done to make them feel comfortable. We will definitely come back and can only recommend a visit.

Immer kommt die Köchin (die Frau von Ivan und erzählen blöde Sachen und beleidigt uns persönlich mit ihre Art und Weise. Ich persönlich komme ich nicht wieder. Ich möchte in Ruhe essen und nicht gestört werden.

We ate outside, large portions, hot food (this is important to us but unfortunately not common everywhere) which was just as perfect for our taste as the temperature of the drinks. Fast service, relaxed, friendly approach although it was really good to do for an early Tuesday evening. We will be back and can recommend with a clear conscience.

Good Balkan cuisine at fair prices. Of course the menu also includes starters, but the portions of the main courses are so generous that you have to be really hungry to finish them. The price/performance ratio is right here!
