Haus Büning - Café & Restaurant in Marl

Ich habe heute einmal eine Gourmettüte über To good to go gekauft. Fleisch, Pommes, Spätzle und Gemüse. Es hat alles super gut geschmeckt und wir werden bald dort einmal Essen gehen.

Die Atmosphäre, das Essen sowie die Getränke sind immer Top. Im Büning fühle ich mich einfach wohl.

71,50 € – genau so viel hat uns diese Lebensmittelvergiftung am Muttertag gekostet. Am Muttertag besuchte ich gemeinsam mit meiner Mutter und meinem kleinen Sohn Ihr Restaurant, um diesen besonderen Tag in angenehmer Atmosphäre zu feiern. Wir bestellten zwei Steaks mit Pommes frites und nutzten zusätzlich Ihre Salatbar. Einige Stunden später wurde mir plötzlich sehr schlecht. In der Nacht entwickelte auch meine Mutter dieselben Symptome: starkes Erbrechen, Durchfall und Schüttelfrost. Um 3:30 Uhr morgens musste sie ihre Arbeit vorzeitig abbrechen und nach Hause kommen. Besonders belastend war, dass ich mich gleichzeitig um meinen kleinen Sohn kümmern musste, während es mir selbst sehr schlecht ging. Wir beide litten nach unserem Besuch in Ihrem Restaurant unter einer schweren Lebensmittelvergiftung. Der Muttertag, der ein schöner Familientag sein sollte, endete in einer schlaflosen Nacht voller Übelkeit und körperlicher Erschöpfung. Morgen werde ich Ihr Restaurant persönlich aufsuchen, um diesen Vorfall zu besprechen und eine angemessene Lösung zu verlangen. Ich erwarte die vollständige Rückerstattung unseres Rechnungsbetrags in Höhe von 71,50 € und behalte mir weitere Schritte ausdrücklich vor.

Also insgesamt ein netter Laden, nettes Personal. Jedoch der Preis für diese Portionen teilweise viel zu hoch gegriffen Dies wird aber getoppt von den ungenießbaren Pommes, also mit ungenießbar meine ich wirklich ungenießbar, 6 mal durch die Fritteuse = Stein hart .

Wir waren mit dem Gutscheinbuch da. Pfefferminztee steht in der Karte von Keo. Ist aber kein Keo Tee, sondern heißes Wasser mit 3 Blättern Pfefferminz drin, die aber keinen Geschmack abgaben. War also nur heißes Wasser. Der Bedienung haben wir das gemeldet. Es kam keinerlei Entschuldigung, sondern nur „ich geb es weiter“. Schnitzel war ok, allerdings frage ich mich wie klein ein Seniorenschnitzel sein soll wenn dieses schon Mini ist (Preis 23€ mit abgezählten 20 Pommesstäbchen). Melonenstück statt Zitrone zum Schnitzel hab ich so auch noch nicht gesehen. Auf den Bratkartoffeln beim Bauernschnitzel rohe Zwiebeln drauf auch etwas seltsam. Passend gab’s auf dem Klo chinesische Plastikdeko und ein Loch im Boden (Vorsicht!). Da müsste dringend an allen Ecken nachgebessert werden. Zum Glück saßen wir nicht an dem Tisch neben dem ein riesiger Monitor die Schlagzeilen der Marler Zetung im Wechsel anzeigt.

Wir waren mit der Kulinaris Card obwohl wir dies vorher erwähnt haben und die Card auf den Tisch lag, wurde uns im nicht netten Ton gesagt wir müssen diese vorher ankündigen. Was wir ja getan haben, aber bei dem anderen Kellner. Als Vorspeise Bruschetta Wir hatten 2 kleine zu lange gebratene Schweinemedaillons mit 7 Kroketten Das andere Essen war zwar gratis, aber weil ich gerne Bratkartoffeln ( die extrem trocken waren) anstatt Pommes wollte war eine Zuzahlung von 4 € nötig. 4 Bier Bezahlt haben wir 73€ Es ist lächerlich, das man für soviel Geld nicht satt wird. Wir haben ebenfalls to good to go für 10,99 € warenwert 33 €, der Chef sagte hier ist dein Gourmeteller, und für die Box geöffnet hatten waren wir sehr überrascht über die vielfältige Menge, das was wir bekommen haben war nichtmals 10 € Wert. Das ist eine Bereicherung für ihn. Einfach eine Frechheit

Tolles Konzept in Buffetform. Wechselnde Buffets. Wir wollten a la carte essen und haben uns letzendlich doch für das Buffet entschieden und nicht bereut. Mit Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und auch Nachspeise zu einem unschlagbaren Preis.

Wir haben Buffet gegessen und waren begeistert. Große Auswahl und schmackhaft zubereitet. Die Produkte haben eine gute Qualität und der Service ist aufmerksam. 👍🏻

Das Haus büning ist immer wieder einen Besuch wert. Generell ist das Essen dort super lecker, das Ambiente sehr angenehm und das Personal extrem zuvorkommend, lieb und gut gelaunt. Man fühlt sich einfach willkommen und geschätzt.

Heute waren wir das erste Mal im Haus Büning 🙂 zum Menükarussell Ich kann nur sagen, es lohnt sich😉 Vom Gruß aus der Küche, der Vorspeise, Zwischengang, Hauptspeise und Nachtisch, hat alles total lecker geschmeckt und wurde zeitgleich zum Tisch gebracht. Bei einen 4 Gänge Menü verbringt man schon etwas länger im Lokal, doch auch der zeitliche Ablauf passte. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder😋 Super Service und super freundlich, weiter so🤩

Wir waren zum Abendessen dort. Die hausgemachten Limonaden wirkten meiner Meinung nach nicht wirklich selbstgemacht, sondern eher wie fertige Getränke. Auch das Essen war den Preis leider nicht wert. Wir haben Steak bestellt, es gab jedoch sehr zähe Stücke, die schwer zu kauen waren. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Salatbar – eine gute Idee, da man sich den Salat nach Wunsch selbst zusammenstellen kann.

Vorweg, wir brauchen uns nicht über das Essen unterhalten, das ist wirklich gut. Wir waren schon häufig dort, aber diesmal definitiv das letzte Mal! Als wir bestellen wollten, wurde uns schon mitgeteilt, dass nicht mehr alles zubereitet werden kann, das hätte man uns aber schon am Telefon sagen können. Das Salatbuffet wurde bereits abgebaut, weshalb wir zwar einen Salat bekommen haben, diesen uns aber nicht mehr selbst zusammen stellen konnten. Zu guter Letzt wurden wir gefragt, ob es noch ein Absacker sein darf, für uns war es natürlich selbstverständlich, dass dieser aufs Haus geht, wegen der Unannehmlichkeiten. Dem war allerdings nicht so. Berechnet wurde der Schnaps mit jeweils 5,40€ was nicht nur maßlos übertrieben ist, sondern für uns auch einfach völlig untergejubelt wirkte. Darauf angesprochen, war die Verwunderung beim Chef groß, er wolle ja auch was verkaufen, und natürlich gibt es den nicht umsonst! Das ist einfach nicht in Ordnung und für diesen Preis auch absolut dreist!

Essen lieblose angerichtet und geschmacklich enttäuscht.(Geschmackssache) Service lange Wartezeit. Lokal muß dringend mal renoviert werden.

Sehr lecker. Das Schnitzel wie auch Roastbeef waren sehr gut. Beilagen sind üppig vertreten.

Der Besitzer: Kritik über Schnitzelqualtität nicht erwünscht!!! Preis für ein Schnitzel ,das so hauchdünn und aromatötend platt geklopft wurde ,war zu hoch. Tische für 4 Personen wurden für 6 Personen genutzt.Viel zu eng.👎👎

Wir waren das erste Mal hier, werden aber sicherlich wiederkommen. Sehr netter Service und schnelle Bedienung, obwohl es Sonntag Abend recht voll war. Das Essen würde ich als „Gut bürgerlich“ beschreiben und alle klassischen Fleischgerichte werden hier angeboten. Gutes Salat Buffet mit Selbstbedienung gehört zu fast allen Gerichten. Ambiente „rustikal“ aber sehr gepflegt und sauber.

Neue Bedienung, das Essen war sehr lecker, nur die Preise sind sehr hoch.

We were a group of three couples for the steak and fish buffet. The steaks were freshly grilled, and everything else was available at the buffet. Simply delicious, and you definitely won't go hungry. We'd love to come back.

I was here today with my girlfriend for the all-you-can-eat buffet. It was fantastic, and a charming and entertaining waiter named Sebo guided us through the evening. The food was delicious, and the steaks were cooked to perfection. We'll be back.

Sorry, please cancel your delivery partnership with Lieferando. The dishes were cold, soggy, unsightly, and truly inedible. The price/performance ratio is completely out of whack. Any chip shop could have done a better job. Disappointing for around €120.

I was there for the first time today for all-you-can-eat schnitzel. I brought my family (5 people). We arrived at 6 p.m., and by 7:15 p.m. we still hadn't had any schnitzel. But neighboring tables got seconds, or tables that were occupied later got their fill. So they forgot about us. The hunter's sauce was delicious, but too cold, only lukewarm. There was no broccoli at all, and they didn't refill it either. (During my time there.) What I also didn't like were the toilets. They smelled strong. And they only flushed a trickle. In need of renovation! It was probably our first and last time there. A shame.

I can't recommend eating here, because the wait times are so long that you could almost starve to death! Waiting over 1.5 hours for food is simply not normal...

Hello everyone! I've lived in Marl for about 8 years now and have driven past Haus Büning many times... and was always curious. What gave me the proverbial kick in the butt was a sign on the street advertising the all-you-can-eat schnitzel. Unfortunately, I got the day wrong, so we had to order something from the menu. The food was really, really good. We all had schnitzels, which cost more than you would at a chip shop... but they're worth the price. You can taste not only the quality of the products, but also the preparation. It's unbelievable that I've gone out to eat again and have nothing to complain about. What's also really important to me, and something many people have already mentioned: the staff are excellent. The two men at the entrance and the woman in the kitchen... everyone smiled and made you feel welcome. They also asked regularly if everything was okay, if you had any requests, or if the dessert special on offer at the end was enough. The food was incredibly good and we all enjoyed it! Next week we're going for the all-you-can-eat (I'm not really a big fan of it, but I've always wanted to try the schnitzel, especially since it's served in a restaurant... I can't resist!), and we'll definitely be back after that. Sure, if we could afford it, we'd go daily. But maybe once a month, just to treat ourselves. You only live once. Thanks to the team at Haus Büning! You're doing an outstanding job!! :-)

Fourteen of us sat outside in the covered beer garden. Since it had rained and was getting colder that day, we were able to close the glass side windows and avoid freezing. Sometimes we ate à la carte or ordered all-you-can-eat schnitzel, which was no problem at all. Schnitzel was available with pork or chicken. All very tasty. I highly recommend the restaurant.

Wir kamen um 19.30 an: das Salatbuffet war leergefegt, wir mussten um Nachlieferung bitten ... und warten -Tomaten und Gurken wurden ergänzt, Brot gab es nicht mehr. Das vegetarische Gericht war eine Katastrophe: Zucchini- Randstücke mit dicker Schale in Panade fritiert und kaum gewürzt, dazu weiche Pommes. Das Essen und der Service dieses Restaurants ist nicht mehr mit dem vor der Pandemie zu vergleichen - einen Platz unter den besten Restaurants hat es nicht verdient.

Two weeks ago we had Haus Büning cook our catering for our wedding. Everything was great, there was more than enough food and the taste was simply delicious. The food came on time, all agreements were adhered to, all around great and we would order there again at any time!

A culinary experience in a class of its own! As soon as I took the first bite, I thought, "Wow! This is so good, I would hug my mother-in-law for it!" But the real adventure began when I visited the toilet. This toilet is not just a quiet place, it is a temple of enlightenment after eating. I went in with a slight feeling of pressure and came out as a new person with a vision for life and clear goals. Great food, great loo, great service, I'll definitely be back. And this time I'm bringing toilet paper as a gift!

We are often in the Büning restaurant, The menu is extensive and the price-performance ratio is balanced. For the quality of the food and the good service, the price is more than justified. If you choose a dish that is served with salad, you can put it together yourself at the salad buffet, including dressings, baguette with dip or herb butter. Most recently we took part in the menu carousel with wine accompaniment. The menu was fresh, very tasty and prepared and presented with care and love. The wines offered were aromatic and more than sufficient. We are already looking forward to our next visit PS: The beer garden and cocktails are worth mentioning ;-)

As a long-time regular at Restaurant Büning, I can say with full confidence that it is a very special place for our family. My wife and I visit the restaurant regularly and are always impressed by the excellent service. The staff is not only friendly and attentive, but they also know us personally, which makes the experience even more pleasant. The taste of the food is simply incomparable. The dishes are fresh, creative and full of flavors - you can tell that a lot of dedication is put into cooking here. We are particularly proud that our wedding buffet was organized by Büning. It was a dream! The selection and presentation of the food was perfect and made our big day even more memorable. The price-performance ratio is also remarkable. For the quality of the food and the first-class service, the price is more than justified. We always feel comfortable and in good hands, and that makes Restaurant Büning one of our favorite places. We are already looking forward to our next visit and can warmly recommend Restaurant Büning to everyone!

Haus Büning is a very lovingly furnished family restaurant; It is very comfortable to sit and the food is always very fresh and delicious. Children are also always welcome 🤗 We've been eating there for several years and have even held a larger celebration there, so it's definitely worth a visit.

Now I have to vent my dissatisfaction. We reserved a table on Christmas Eve (we didn't receive any information on the phone that there was only a buffet). The price per person was 42.90 euros, it would have been very important to receive this information in advance. There was no drinks menu on the table and the table was not decorated for Christmas (red napkins with a knife and fork? Wow. The air was very stuffy and going to the buffet was unpleasant. My niece said it was the most expensive schnitzel she had ever eaten had. You didn't get any schnapps after your meal like you usually get from various restaurants. The pudding for dessert was very lumpy. Conclusion: never again Haus Büning. We were all dissatisfied.

On Christmas Day we had dinner with the family (13 people) and were horrified to find that only a buffet was offered, i.e. 42.90 euros per person. When making the reservation over the phone, this important information was not communicated because the focus was on the menu in advance. In our opinion, the table was not set for Christmas because it was only set when we got there, so there was no cozy atmosphere at the table. There was no drinks menu on the table, so you could find out in advance what was on offer. The air was “cutting” and the walk to the buffet was quite long. In our opinion the price of 42.90 euros per person was far too high. We won't be entering this restaurant again!
