Great place right on the Baltic Sea. Attentive and friendly staff Prices are quite high, but relatively appropriate for the location and ambience

Many thanks to the very friendly and considerate team at Wolkenlos, who with a lot of commitment made our wedding celebration in the 'Captains Lounge' an enchanting and unforgettable day for all our guests and us at the end of April 2025. We felt absolutely comfortable and in good hands right from the planning stage, and our wishes were implemented excellently. We would like to express our special thanks to Mr. F. Lemke! :)

We were there today and, thanks to the waitress Alex, had a fantastic stay. He took great care of us and was very warm and super friendly. This made us feel very, very comfortable. Thank you Alex for this absolutely outstanding service!!! We're happy to give for that ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The atmosphere is really nice. Because it's on the water, it's a really great place where we really enjoyed eating. The food was delicious and we look forward to going to the Wolkenlos restaurant again on our next visit to Timmendorf.

I was extremely disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The best thing was the view. My food was cold and tasteless, mousse and chocolate mousse was liquid, toilets were very dirty, service seemed annoyed. I've eaten much better for these prices.

Location 10/10 Quality 10/10 Prices are of course accordingly, but it is definitely worth it. The currywurst is highly recommended.

I can't comment on the food, I don't have any! Enjoyed a glass of wine on the great pier with a great view. Price for the glass of wine is quite expensive. I decided on a small wheat beer, which was also very expensive. The food I saw on the neighboring plate looked good. Great place to unwind.

Unfortunately, the food was completely tasteless, so we had to add a lot of salt and pepper. In addition, the amount was very small. Pesto pasta with 5 shrimps for 24€ and I didn't get full... value for money so complete crap here... but the service was very friendly and accommodating. When I pointed out that I wasn't full, we got a hot drink on the house. That was really nice, but I still wasn't full and I didn't see the point of spending so much money on dessert again. The view is really nice and I think it's a good place to just have a drink in the sun. However, I cannot and would not recommend this restaurant.

Nice location with unfortunately far too few outdoor spaces. Instead, the staff constantly asks whether guests can sit down. The only focus here is on generating sales.

Great team, fast, super friendly, doesn't seem that way either put on. The food was very good and the price was completely reasonable given the location. In terms of decoration, a slightly more pleasant ambience could be created in the restaurant itself.

The two of us spontaneously had dinner at Wolkenlos on March 22nd. We were assigned the table right by the window, which was really nice and we really enjoyed it! We were treated very attentively and courteously from start to finish. The food was great, as was the service! We felt very comfortable and are already looking forward to September and hope to be there with our family (11 people) on September 18th. to be able to eat with you again! Thanks

A great café/restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. It feels like you're sitting right in the Baltic Sea. The floor is partially made of glass, allowing you to look directly into the water. We had a warm drink there. We can't comment on the food. The food served to the tables looked very delicious :-)

We registered for dinner with a group (12 people). Drinks order was delivered incomplete, food was even less complete. It was necessary to ask multiple times!! Men's toilet unclean, partially closed! Service friendly, but overwhelmed.

I don't think it's worth the 4.1 stars, we don't get tickets but have to get them ourselves, which is annoying, then most of the things don't taste that good. You have to talk to them yourself otherwise they won't come, most of them leave after a few minutes, it's also overpriced just because it's over water and so on, most customers are ignored. Very few employees who bring food and stuff, prefer to do it at home rather than in a restaurant that is really too expensive

The food and drinks are very good, but the portions are also very clear. The prices are not without value! The view is great! The windows are unfortunately a bit "dirty", but certainly not easy to keep clean. The service was very friendly and accommodating!

We were there with “5 people” and we all ordered something to eat. The waitress brought the food for four people but had forgotten an order. As an apology we were all given a drink of our choice 😊 GREAT

Very friendly staff. Previous online reservations were very easy and there was also a reminder email. The atmosphere was very pleasant, music wasn't too loud. The food was very good from the price to the portion size and the location over the water. For two people drinks and two main courses were €53. They knew about gluten free/celiac disease and I had no problems. Gluten-free vegetarian options are somewhat limited, but the curry was very tasty. If you eat fish/meat, you have more choice here. In my opinion, there is only enough choice here for vegetarian/vegan options. I would definitely come again.

So Location 10/10 Service also super friendly young mouse from Asia hasn't been served so friendly in a long time. We had cocoa for two and a Belgian waffle to warm up because it was icy outside. Cocoa like from the hospital vending machine is horrible so really terrible how can you offer something like that these days and the waffle with ice cream and a bit of cherries for 12 euros is way too overpriced the waffle is so tiny and the ice cream felt like it was thawed and re-frozen 20 times. Really a shame

The menu was manageable, but the quality was really very good. The service was friendly and quick. It tasted excellent and we will definitely come back. The location is of course a dream.

Great pier, great restaurant and the weather was fantastic - we wanted coffee and cake at 3 p.m., but that wasn't available! Okay 👌, took apple strudel with cream and a scoop of ice cream 🍦! Unfortunately it was a children's portion for €10 each (!!!) and wasn't really tasty: we won't be going there again!

We wanted to on February 9th. drink a mulled wine. Unfortunately, the winter time was over at 0 degrees and mulled wine, although on the menu, was no longer available. Too bad.

We had a wonderful birthday meal there and our sick dog Nala was also well looked after. Yuni accompanied the evening magically with her friendliness and perfect service (e.g. new straw was brought to the table on a napkin!) and was always there immediately when you needed something. Despite the full house, the food came very quickly, warm and excellently prepared. Overall, a very great evening and worth a visit just for the view. There weren't many photos because there was too much focus on the birthday, the view, the drinks and the food.

Lots of free places for a weekend, but very slow service. I ordered baked potatoes with chicken breast, they arrived cold... sad. The view is beautiful but the glass is dirty 🙃

No recommendation. Nice view, nothing more. Potatoes were served raw and cold, after note the same potatoes came back exactly in a bowl. Expensive lemonades taste strange halfway through and it was so cold that we left just as wet as we arrived. When we asked for a blanket or something similar, this was denied with a grin.

Despite the stormy weather, a nice atmosphere. The food came quickly, but my potatoes were still raw on the inside. When I asked if I could get new ones, they were brought to me shortly later, but still raw. Otherwise delicious. A good selection of dishes and drinks.

The food is really an disgrace - loveless, not fresh, burnt and sometimes in tiny portions. The price-performance ratio is completely inadequate. Typical tourist trap! I wouldn't advise anyone to dine here. The two of us left €75 here and didn't get full.

The "Wolkenlos" has a fantastic view of the Baltic Sea. Here you are not ON THE sea, but ON the sea. The sushi and the Asian burger were great!

As a wedding photographer, I have seen many locations, but this one is really special! The bright rooms directly above the sea with a perfect view of the sunset are a dream. I look forward to many more weddings at this location.

Women's toilets were shockingly unclean, with a thick layer of smear on the sinks and brown-colored toilet bowls. The waiter rounded up the bill without asking when he gave change - not the end of the world, but extremely cheeky. Otherwise the ambience is really nice, but very dark. From a distance we thought the shop was closed. The coffee was very good, Kaiserschmarren was quite dry but tasty. 👍 In general, everything is really extremely expensive.

This pier pavilion with its restaurants invites you to linger in a pleasant atmosphere. In two places, glass floor elements allow a view of the Baltic Sea below, where it is flat and clear down to the ground. The oysters and Kaiserschmarn were solid, and there was warm cheese bread with the oysters. But both dishes lacked something for the fifth star. The Pinot Gris does not suit the higher price level. The biggest flaw is the lack of cleanliness of the toilets. This results in a significant reduction in points for the ambience.

So... an "apple strudel with vanilla sauce and vanilla ice cream": 10€ for a very narrow piece of lukewarm apple strudel, quite watery ice cream and a hint of a zigzag pattern in thin lines over it as "vanilla sauce" is more of a joke. She was so thin you couldn't even pick her up. My companion's plate looked no different. We had to ask for a napkin, which wasn't in the repertoire. A thin sheet of promotional napkin arrived. Latte macchiatto for €5 came in a small glass that was only 2/3 full. When the young man obligatory asked if it was tasty while he was clearing away, we wanted to or objected. He put it away with a meaningless grin and didn't respond to it at all, just walked away. The women's toilets were very unclean and unkempt. Hair in both sinks, paper on the floor, the Dyson hand dryer so calcified and greasy that you don't want to use it. And the store wasn't overcrowded to be a possible explanation for such a situation. All in all - we don't want to come back. Price-performance ratio is zero. It seems as if you are just resting on your laurels there. Very unfortunate.

Yesterday we had a larger family celebration at Wolkenlos. Everything was harmonious, the location on the jetty directly above the Baltic Sea is uniquely beautiful. There are also outdoor spaces. The staff was well trained and incredibly friendly and the food was really tasty.

Price performance does not match here. We have a baked potato with falafel and fried fish with parsley potatoes. Ordered 2 large cokes. In the end we paid just under €52, which wouldn't have been a problem if the quality and quantity had been right. The fried fish came with 5 small potatoes and the rest of the plate was filled with salad. The baked potato came with 5 mini falafel balls. In any case, no one here will be full. In addition, the ambience is not particularly appealing. We have reserved a table for two people. We got the popular super great exotic in the last corner. Of course there is a lake view, but if you offer tables like this you should at least pay attention to cleanliness and, as you can see in the picture, that's not really the case here. We absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant. The service was very nice and friendly, but the rest leaves a lot to be desired.

We went to Wolkenlos twice in October. The first time to treat yourself to coffee. Chocolate cakes, waffles and soup were excellent. The second time spontaneously around 5 p.m. to eat. Baked fish, truffle burgers and potatoes with turkey strips - all delicious!! Since we still knew the dessert, we repeated it again. In the complete package, it is certainly a little more expensive due to the excellent location, but also surprising. I pay €5.00 for a latte at the local bakery - if I eat it there. 5.20€ in the location almost seems like a gift! I especially have to mention the friendly and attentive staff at every stage. Everything was made possible for our youngest (9 months). Hats off!

Where should I start and stop with the criticism? This location would actually be suitable for a nice stop, but the staff at the reception and entrance were quite unfriendly. After some time, the drinks and food came unsorted and the food was anything but tasty. I'd rather keep quiet about the price, it's a complete rip-off. Conclusion: once and never again.

Went there with my girlfriend 2 weeks ago. It's a really nice location, it's just a shame that you're only served directly in front of the restaurant.

Today we're guests at Wolkenlos on the pier on Timmendorfer Strand. A nice atmosphere, especially in the evening hours. But also a great view of the Baltic Sea during the day. I can only recommend everyone to take a detour there. Very tasty food. The service is very good. Very accommodating. All in all, 5 stars 🌟 deserved.

Great location on the pier and therefore directly above the water. Last night with the sunset behind us and the view of the sea from a seat at the window, it was a very nice atmosphere. Thanks to Mr. Kriesbach for the nice hospitality. The food was very good, high quality. We'd love to come back.

Only been there for coffee and cake! There is also something about a tea house and cafe at the entrance. You can totally forget about coffee and hot chocolate. Had to wait 10 minutes for the menu. The warmed apple strudel for €10 came half an hour after the coffee. At least they didn't charge for the undrinkable Alfredo coffee. All in all very expensive. The hot meals on the neighboring tables looked quite appealing. You pay a 50% surcharge for the Baltic Sea view.

We dined at this restaurant on business. First the positive: The view was a dream and you could look out over the water. Unfortunately the service and food were not to my liking. We had to wait a very long time for drinks and our food, although I wouldn't say the restaurant was full. The food is very expensive and I was very disappointed with the fried fish. Unfortunately it was a frozen fish and at 20 euros it is clearly too expensive.

An absolute dream. Food top. Service top. Great location. I have rarely been so surprised by a restaurant. Of course the prices are slightly higher. But these are still in a cozy setting. With an absolutely clear conscience, I'm happy to pay more if it's "worth it" and that's definitely what it is here. Can only say something about the curry with chicken breast, the burger and the fries and the in-house lemonade/ice tea. Absolute. Fantastic. That's about it. We will eat there every time we are there from now on.
