We ate at the inn with a larger group and everyone was completely satisfied with the food and drinks. Plus the ambience, which made the evening very successful. A clear recommendation in Saarburg.

We were there for dinner and were completely satisfied. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our food was of very good quality and sufficient for us. Our dogs were welcome and water was even offered. We can definitely recommend the location. Only cash payment possible.

Yesterday after hiking we went there for dinner with 13 people. We had pre-ordered pork knuckles and a colleague had ordered a cordon blue. The food and the festival beer were great, the staff was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was very nice. We were completely satisfied and would love to come back!!

Stopped in for lunch today with 2 adults and 2 children. We felt warmly welcome from the start. There is currently a monthly ticket available - due to Oktoberfest. The dishes from the “normal” menu and the monthly menu were great and authentic. Everything from nuggets and schnitzel for the kids to dumplings and cheese spaetzle was made here - thank you for that. :-)

The food was very good, especially the schnitzel and the mushroom cream sauce was delicious. The junior manager was super nice and friendly and even had fun with the kids. We can only recommend it, the price is a bit higher but it's okay for the delicious food.

We were able to celebrate a 60th birthday with a “flying buffet” there. It was fun and delicious! The innkeepers and waiters were also very friendly, with ❤️ and super attentive 😀!! Thank you for the lovely evening and the delicious family dinner 2 days later where we were allowed to sit outside in the ❤️decorated “beer tent”! The kids were particularly excited about the brizzes!!

Went here for dinner yesterday. Very friendly staff/boss. Everything is clean, I like it when the salt/pepper cruet is clean and not stuffed with cardboard, that's the case here. Requests for changes (we prefer a slice more liver sausage instead of black pudding) are happy to be fulfilled. Super crunchy bread, tasty shrimp with homemade aioli. Pleasantly priced. If we lived here (we are on vacation) we would like to stop here regularly. Atmosphere quaintly cozy.

The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is also very friendly. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the food at all, even though I've heard a lot of good things. Schnitzel was neither pounded nor seasoned. But the worst part was the breading. We really enjoy eating schnitzel, especially my partner isn't really picky about schnitzel, but we agreed that we would never eat one again. Absolutely not tasty. The side dishes were very good. The fried potato chips are super crispy and well seasoned.

We ate here as a family before our planned boat tour. The food was ordered quickly and was on the table quickly. The blue cheese burger was delicious. Portions and taste were good and there was a bit of wind outside despite the strong sunlight. I enjoyed the stop there. I would happily recommend the restaurant.

Yesterday we went there spontaneously with 5 people without making a reservation, which was absolutely no problem. It was very pleasant to sit outside in the beer garden. The waiter is very accommodating and we felt very comfortable. The food was excellent. Highly recommended. If we are in Saarburg again, we will definitely come back. We liked it better than sitting squashed by the waterfall, if you can say so ;-) As they always say, the secret tips are never at the hotspot, but just down the street.

We've been here a few times and would love to go again. The service is always very friendly and accommodating. The food is high quality and tastes great. Everyone will find a treat here, even the kids. Even in rainy weather you can sit outside. The map is “small” but nice. Each season has a special card or motto.

The stuff is nice but basically this is all what you can say about the place. The service is slow. Bringing a salad and a schnitzel took over 1 hour. The price didn't correspond to the quality and the taste of the meal. We decided that we will not be back and will not recommend the place to anyone. There are definitely better places to have a meal.

Stopped there spontaneously yesterday on a bike tour. The Spanish atmosphere at the moment (due to the European Championship), mixed with a rustic German tavern flair, was very cheerful. The staff was also outstanding. The Brizza there cheered me up the first time I saw it and is definitely a taste experience.

We were there on Sunday. The restaurant does everything the previous reviews promise. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and there is a very family atmosphere. A really well-rounded thing that I can only recommend to every visitor to Saarburg. You have to look for a parking space in the area, but this is only natural in such a central location and is not a problem. I'm happy to walk a few meters for such a good restaurant 😎

We were here for the first time - but definitely not the last time. Fresh salads, crispy cordon bleu with fried potatoes. Plus a wine cheese sauce...very tasty😋 Highly recommended.

We went there for the first time on Wednesday and can only recommend the place. The service is very friendly and familiar, so we felt right at home. The food was also very good: children's burgers with crispy ones! Fried potatoes, cheese spaetzle, asparagus - Brizza! Everything was perfect, you can sit outside and inside. Everything is nice and rustic. We will be back definitely.

We were here on Friday evening. We were able to get a spot for two without a reservation. The restaurant was fully booked. Nevertheless, we received excellent service and ate fantastically. The Frankfurter Schlachtplatte left nothing to be desired and even a real man was satisfied with the delicious schnitzel with green sauce. We would be happy to come back at any time.

We ate there as a vacationing family (with 2 children, 9 and 6) and found a restaurant that was well attended, especially by locals, which is a good sign. The hosts are really very warm and authentic, you can tell that they both put their heart, soul and heart into it and want to serve their guests in the best possible way. The service staff employed was also totally on the ball. The atmosphere in the vaults is very cozy, without appearing dusty or antiquated. Regarding the physical: It's very nice that you can drink wines from local winemakers at really affordable prices. So we got a bottle of Riesling there for 16.50 euros, for which private buyers pay just under 10 euros from the winemaker. This is fair! The whole family ate burgers, great! I would particularly like to highlight the Gorgonzola Burger with cranberries, absolutely delicious and special. So if you're ever in Saarburg, be sure to go to the tavern with a heart!

We had a great lunch this afternoon at the Wirtshaus mit Herz. The building didn't look particularly inviting from the outside, but we liked it even better inside. The nice hosts and the tasty food were great. Our six-year-old daughter completely ate the burger, which is a rarity 🙂 Guests were informed before sitting down if it would take longer. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely come back!

War das ein schöner Abend! Vielen Dank an den Wirt, an das freundliche Personal und auch an das Team in der Küche. Man kommt im Grunde als Fremder vorbei und wird sofort aufgenommen, freundlich bedient und geht als guter Gast des Hauses. Die Haxen waren einfach fantastisch! Es war ein wunderschöner Abend in einem tollen Ambiente, mit echt engagierten Personal! Ich kann allen nur empfehlen: reservieren – reingehen – wohlfühlen!

Wir waren schon im letzten Jahr einmal hier und wollten jetzt, wo wir nochmal in der Gegend waren, unbedingt wiederkommen, da wir uns beim letzten Mal schon sehr wohlgefühlt haben und das Essen super geschmeckt hat. Für mich sind Restaurants mit einer kleinen Speisekarte ein Zeichen, das hier frisch gekocht wird. Das ist hier der Fall und das auch noch richtig lecker. Sehr gute Wirthausküche zu fairen Preisen. Dafür gebe ich gerne 5 Sterne.

Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt, und so lecker gegessen, dass wir gleich alle verfügbaren Abende im Wirtshaus mit Herz verbracht haben. Egal welches Gericht, alles hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Haxe war genau so, wie man sie sich wünscht und der hausgemachte Leberkäse ein Traum. Locker und genau unser Humor, das Personal und die Inhaber machen alles richtig. Es gab sogar an unserem Geburtstag einen liebevoll angerichteten Nachtisch mit Ständchen aufs Haus. Was will man mehr...

Waren heute zur Mittagszeit dort Gast. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und ist sehr schmackhaft. Die Servicekraft war sehr freundlich und ging auf seine Gäste ein. Der Außenbereich war oktoberfestlich gestaltet und auch die Speisekarte entsprechend. Ein Besuch der sich gelohnt hat und sehr weiterzuempfehlen ist. Fam. Hermann

Wij hebben tijdens onze vakantie hier twee keer gegeten. Zeer vriendelijke bediening, heerlijk eten voor een goede prijs. Een echte aanrader! Even reserveren is wel aan te raden omdat het (buiten) snel vol zit.

Me and my family absolutely LOVED this place! This is for sure THE place to eat in Saarburg! The staff is so incredibly friendly and helpful, we loved our experience! The food is also very good and of very high quality without a doubt! I had the schnitzel, the chicken burger, fries and ofcourse the beer! All you can see on the pictures that are included. 100% recommend! :)

Before we left Belgium for our summer vacation, which we weren't even sure we would get to have with the pandemic, we were already dreaming of a hearty German meal. Thankfully, we did make it to Saarburg and wonder of wonders, restaurants were a go again! If you're looking for simple, heart-warming German cooking, this is definitely a place worth stopping. My husband had the game sausage with saurkraut and cheese mash, which was absolutely delicious. My youngest and I both went for the käsespätzle, which I confess is some of the best I've ever had. Be warned though, the adult portion of this is huge. As tasty as it was, I couldn't finish mine. ;-) My eldest, recently gone vegetarian, had the veggie burger with fries. It was tasty and had a nice slightly spicy kick. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Our waiter was incredibly personable and had a nice sense of humor. There's outdoor and indoor seating here. Before you come, make sure to stop by an ATM. Bizarrely enough, it's cash only. Highly recommended!

Had a schnitzel with mushroom sauce and chips as a main course and Kaiserscharrn for desert. The main course was just not good, it had the crisp in the crust, the chips were perfectly fine, but taste wise, it just wasn’t there, and the sauce was just terrible. The dessert was good, in retrospect I wish I just had the dessert. It’s made up of fried squares a mix between pancakes and cake with a serving of applesauce. Great walk up to the restaurant tho, with great view and local wine. Would visit again with the knowledge from the first visit.
