We have been visiting the inn regularly on vacation for a few years now. The food is always delicious and the service is great. So far we have always been able to get a table for late lunch and have never needed a reservation. Things look different in the evening. Card payment is possible.

We were there for dinner and the reception was already snippy. The table was carelessly decorated and covered in spices. Cardboard menus are on the table, as are cutlery, like in a bistro, so you don't have to hand them out. The food came after 10 to 15 minutes. I've never eaten so badly. The fried potatoes were old, warmed up, hard, rolled and lukewarm at that. A real disaster. A note to the waitress was only commented with: "I'll pass it on". The fries were also lukewarm and far from crispy. The water glass on the floor was dirty, like coffee grounds and brandy was served in the Ramazzotti glass. All in all, you can't beat the unappetizing quality ☹️. I will never eat here again and cannot recommend it to anyone.

We were in Ahlbeck and Heringsdorf today, October 7th, 2024, and wanted to have a coffee and eat ice cream at the end. On the way back we passed Leo's inn. At the entrance to the inn there was an advertising board with the message - coffee set - 1 coffee and 1 piece of cake for 5.25 euros. We liked that and decided to go for it. But unfortunately the coffee tasted more like warm water and the cheesecake tasted good, but it was sooooo small. If I were to estimate, it was at most 3cm x 7cm. We were very disappointed and will not return there.

Oh dear...the service reacted very poorly to criticism. Beer without a flower was slammed on the table the second time "better now?" and after the starter was served to the main course, people rolled their eyes when they asked that the dishes be cleared away due to the lack of space. The food itself was good, even if it was warmed up in the microwave or something similar (tomato sauce had a skin, mushrooms were warmed up, fried potatoes were lukewarm)...the portion sizes also left a lot to be desired, even the children were still hungry afterwards. All in all, there is potential, which is unfortunately very much wasted.

All in all the restaurant is really very good. Nice service and extremely delicious home-made food like from mom. There is something for everyone and we even got a table without a reservation on Friday evening at 8:15 p.m. and got our food after 15 minutes. I don't understand why the restaurant has so few good reviews, the ambience inside may not be that modern, but it's still clean and friendly. The toilets are also very clean. Absolute recommendation!

We were there today at 8:15 p.m. and wanted dinner, we were told the kitchen was already closed. We were able to enjoy our beer, which was quite tasty, with half a cigarette, and then the food came to the table. Herring with fried potatoes. The food was delicious. The tables were careless and the lights on them were already switched off. We ate our food in a rush and then paid and left. It was 8:55 p.m. We then read on the internet that the kitchen is open until 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. We didn't understand the rush, the waitress was unfriendly, she probably wanted to get off work and we were inconvenient. Too bad! Not again...

The three of us were there for the second time, the waffles were delicious, the service (lady) was very friendly and quick.. The second time I ate waffles, the waiter was absolutely incompetent and cheekily begged for a tip. We tip someone who deserves it because they didn't pay attention to us and had to wait a long time! Latte Maciato was almost cold because he couldn't take the waffle straight away. The waiter is visibly overwhelmed and rude. If the waiter serves us next time, we won't go there...it's a shame, but that's not possible.

We were there on schnitzel day and you had to look for the schnitzel on the plate. Just like the fries, which seemed counted out. Die Burger Buns waren definitiv nicht selbst gemacht und auch keine Buns, sondern einfach blöde Aufbackbrötchen. Die 3,50 für die Pommes sind das Geld auch nicht wert. Ketchup und Majo gibt es dazu. Man muss sie auch nehmen das sonst der Burger fürchterlich trocken ist. Der Service ist sehr schnell und zuvorkommend, aber das reißt es einfach nicht mehr raus.

I haven't felt so unwelcome in a long time. My husband and I went there in the evening to have a drink. It was just 9:15 p.m. The staff was already hard at work wiping tables, folding umbrellas,… When we wanted to sit down at a table, we were annoyed and asked not to sit there. So we chose a table she liked. Shortly afterwards, another couple arrived and were immediately sent away on the grounds that the restaurant was about to close (half an hour before closing time). We didn't stay there long and went to another location the next day. No kind word, no smile and short. We didn't feel like guests, more like a burden.

We have been going to Ahlbeck for years and always look forward to going to Leo. This year too we are there on the first evening. This time the service was really sooooo unfriendly, we had to ask a second waitress if we could get a table for 7 people because the first one didn't want to see us. We were ignored for a long time and then the food and drinks were put on the table from the front because Madame didn't want to walk around. We could also hear from the tables next to us that the tip must have been very poor that day. I hope next year things will be better again... as we usually know them. This year was a complete disappointment.

We spontaneously went to this restaurant today after visiting the beach, which we could have saved on food. The service was good and courteous, a children's chair was provided to us immediately. The food, on the other hand, was an absolute failure, we had the currywurst with fries. The sausage tasted like it had been reheated twice and the fries felt like the deep fryer hadn't seen any new oil in a long time. The pasta with tomato sauce for the little one was swimming in water rather than in sauce. And the vegetarian penne had a freshness that no longer needed words. So we won't be going back again, but everyone should form their own opinion.

So ice cream away from home is a lot to smile about. You have to ask yourself where you can get such small ice tongs to sell such small balls for 1.80 euros. It's a shame, but the taste is very good.

The portions were quite small for the price and didn't quite fill us up. I would not visit this restaurant again and unfortunately I was very annoyed.

The waffle with ice cream (ice cream scoop costs €2.50 at the place) was delicious but the ice cream was extremely small and quite bland. For €2.50, the scoop of ice cream can be more than just a mini children's portion. According to the waitress, we're not the first to complain about it, but the boss ordered small balls to be made and we had to stick to that.

I also ordered cucumber salad which was inedible as it was only served with vinegar and salt ...chicken breast with baked potatoes didn't work at all..chicken was completely dry. Completely salt the herb butter... the baked potato was lukewarm... This is not a pub...if we had known that they didn't cook their own food there, we would have driven straight to the gas station and eaten a sausage there. Another note...all in all we waited almost 30 minutes for the drinks and then another half hour for the food...if there are no staff there to provide service you have to arrange everything differently...but this is important money comes in...we definitely won't be coming back

Salad (mostly iceberg lettuce, a slice of cucumber and a tomato wedge) not fresh but already dried out at the cut edges, drizzled with a few blobs of ready-made dressing. 2. Dry-fried chicken breast and the accompanying baked potato just lukewarm (probably not fresh from the oven but warmed up somehow or kept warm) with dip straight from the refrigerated shelf. 3. Kristallweizen and other types of beer not cooled properly. 4. Tables are not wiped down after previous guests have left, a no go. We sat outside and there was smoking all around, so we had to endure the smell of cigarettes while we ate. We won't be coming back here any time soon.

Dreimal Schnitzel -Champignon Zwiebelsauce naja hoffentlich war sie nur vom Vortag -Paprikasauce gibt’s von Onkel Bens bessere -beim Wiener Schnitzel kann man nicht falsch machen außer es Pulver-trocken zuzubereiten. Liebloser Salat mit bisschen Dressing Und der Kellner setzt allem die Krone auf. Vergisst die Hälfte richtig an den Tisch zu bringen und beschwert sich dann wenn man nach dem bezahlen Geld zurück fordert weil jetzt kommt es Die Rechnung bekommt man natürlich erst nachdem man bezahlt hat und zum Trinkgeld aufgefordert wurde. Naja Ein Erlebnis war es wert um wenigstens mal ein Kommentar schreiben zu können.

We were there recently. I ordered a chocolate with rum without cream and a waffle with cherries. The chocolate came with cream. The waffle was tasty but wasn't anything special like at home. Wir waren am Donnerstag zum Schnitzeltag da. Das Essen war für den Preis ok, die Bratkartoffeln heiß und das Schnitzel gut, nicht trocken. Was uns aber gar nicht gefiel, war, dass das Personal eindeutig verheizt wird. Es war erwartungsgemäß voll am Schnitzeltag. Ein einzelner, älterer Kellner war alleine für den gesamten Außenbereich zuständig. Bestellungen aufnehmen, servieren, abräumen und kassieren. Das dieser dabei noch so freundlich blieb ist wirklich bewundernswert. Daran lässt sich die Kompetenz dieses Herren erkennen. Ich glaube er heißt Jörg. Wirklich „Hut ab“ vor so viel Berufsehre. Auf dem Weg zur Toilette konnten wir den Innenbereich ansehen. Besonders die Ecken gehören mal aufgeräumt , hier stapelt sich allerhand unnützes Zeug. Die Deko auf den Fensterbänken müsste auch mal entstaubt werden. Nichtsdestotrotz werden wir wiederkommen.
