Das Banana Beach ist eine kleine Strandbar, die auch Strandkörbe zur Vermietung anbietet. Ich war hier schon mehrmals und meine Erfahrung hing immer recht stark vom Anlass ab, warum ich hier war. Wenn es darum geht, einfach nur einen Strandkorb zu mieten, dann finde ich den Laden top. Die Preise sind absolut fair, der Service freundlich, die Abwicklung unkompliziert und die Strandkörbe allesamt modern und in einem guten Zustand. Würde ich jedem, der einen Strandkorb auf Usedom mieten will, direkt empfehlen. Die Bar selbst ist etwas speziell. Man bekommt hier wirklich ganz basale Drinks, aber die Auswahl ist schon ziemlich klein. Euch reicht ein Aperol Spritz in durchschnittlicher Qualität zu einem normalen Preis? Dann werdet ihr hier kein Problem haben. Ansonsten gibt es aber auch nur sehr wenige Cocktails oder Longdrinks und auch die Auswahl an Bieren ist hier leider nicht sehr gut. Gegessen habe ich hier noch nie, weil es nicht ein einziges vegetarisches Gericht auf der Karte gibt. Immerhin gibt es Fischbrötchen, die aber recht unspektakulär aussehen, was ungünstig ist, wenn ein paar Meter entfernt eine Bude ist, die auf Fischbrötchen spezialisiert ist. Daneben gibt es halt dieses typische deutsche Boomer-Essen wie Bockwurst oder Boulette im Brötchen, das gefühlt für Leute gedacht ist, die Essen als reine Kcal-Aufnahme betrachten. Wenn man wenigstens sowas wie Mini-Pizza, Finger Food, Burger oder ähnliches im Sortiment hätte, könnte man sich ein wenig von der Konkurrenz abheben. Dazu kommt dann noch die Beschallung mit wirklich schlechter Schlagermusik, mit der man scheinbar wirklich alle U-60 Gäste verscheuchen möchte. Für mich definitiv kein Ort zum Sitzen und verweilen, aber gleichzeitig eine super Adresse für Strandkörbe.

Schön zum Sitzen aber.... Als der scheinbare Chef kam und rumpöbelte, dass die Kinder auf den Trampolinen gefälligst zu zahlen haben um dort zu springen, war die gute Laune dahin. Es waren wohlgemerkt Kinder von anderen zahlenden Gästen. Kindern den Spaß zu verderben weil fürs Trampolin nicht bezahlt wurde ist unter aller Sau. Da ist man wohl sehr Geld-fixiert und wenig freundlich. Da reißt die Ambiente auch nichts mehr raus.

Echt, nur Barzahlung ? Seltsam...

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne. Preise sind angemessen, Personal freundlich und das Ambiente auch nett hergerichtet.

Schönes Ambiente, direkt am Strand. Jedoch leider unfreundliche Bedienung. Leider gibt's keine Snacks.

Sehr schöner Ort zum verweilen und war zu trinken. Schöner Blick aufs Meer. Ein Stern Abzug gibt es für die ältere Dame beim Verkauf. Unfreundlich und lustlos. Das junge Mädel war sehr nett und freundlich. Preise sind ok und Getränke haben geschmeckt.

Most beautiful location on the beach of Ahlbeck

One star is still too many. Unfriendly staff, incredibly stuffy. For an Aperol after 4 p.m., you have to listen to silly comments because the staff is too lazy to make it. Not even 100 meters away is a highly recommended beach bar, well worth the trip.

Banana Beach 2 is definitely a top pick! Great staff and a worthwhile visit. It's a great place to relax on vacation.

Perfect for a short break/to relax and unwind. The atmosphere is great, with swings and seating, and a delicious drink to go with it. Unfortunately, we missed the snack selection there.

Okay for a drink, but there are better options. The location on the beach is great for chilling, though.

We rented a beach chair yesterday, for today. Today, however, we weren't feeling so well. So I returned the key before opening hours. Not a friendly word; in fact, I was yelled at and told not to make a fuss, even though I hadn't even said anything. I just stood there and waited. The money for the beach chair, €14, wasn't returned either. The beach chair will definitely be rented out twice today. Earning €14 twice, that's how you do business.

End the sunny afternoon here...with delicious drinks, good conversation and very friendly staff...what more could you want...top!

Beautiful place with a beautiful view of the sea and beach.

The fire bowl is really nice, the cocoa is okay. Unfortunately, the service in the kiosk is hard to beat in terms of unfriendliness.

Stopped in for a mulled wine after a long walk on the beach. The seats were all occupied at the time, but the tree trunks converted into bar tables were also great. Fast and friendly service during our visit.

Even 1 star is still too much. We have been in Ahlbeck for several weeks throughout the year for many years. So again this October for two weeks. And every time we rent a beach chair from Banana Beach, we regret it immensely. At the beginning of October we rented two beach chairs next to each other for a week (cost 150 euros for one week). After two days, one of the beach chairs was at the top of the dunes and the XL beach chair was still on the beach. Since some beach chairs had already been removed, we carried the one we had rented by hand to the other beach chair further down the beach (maybe 20 m) so that it would not accidentally be taken away with us. The lady from Banana Beach saw this and then started shouting at us from 200 meters away, asking if we didn't have them all anymore and that we were crazy about carrying the beach chair away. We then went up to her and tried to explain this to her, but she continued to insult us. All explanations on our part were completely ignored. She couldn't even tell us where exactly the problem was. And this isn't the first time we've had problems with this employee. I can give many other examples. It's hard to beat this in terms of unfriendliness. We actually wanted to rent the beach chairs for the second week of our vacation, but we decided not to. We will no longer rent there in the future either.

Unfortunately, we can't say anything about the food because the lady at the counter was so unfriendly and didn't feel like picking out the ingredients for a boulelette. But since our son has an allergy, we rely on it. They probably haven't heard anything about the requirement to declare the allergen, which can/must lead to a report if you don't declare it. With such arrogance, I'll think about further steps.

Service rather unfriendly. Even in a beach chair that is quite far away, when the wind is offshore, you can often smell the "scent" of the fried curry sausages wafting over from the beach chair rental/bistro.

Very unfriendly service, prices and services at other beach accesses are just as expensive but much friendlier and more competent.

We were there twice. During the second visit we wanted to rent a beach chair and were brushed off in a very unfriendly manner.
