Wirtshaus Eder in München

Bester Schweinsbraten, den ich seit Ewigkeiten, wenn nicht überhaupt einmal gegessen habe, ausreichend viel und mit knuspriger Kruste garniert. Vor allem nicht trocken. Ein Traum. Sehr guter Semmelknödel dazu. Sehr netter Service, allerdings auch sehr laut, mir klingelten noch für zwei Stunden nach Besuch die Ohren. Wer damit leben kann, bekommt auch vor dem Hintergrund des hervorragenden Bieres hier richtig was geboten.

Hervorragendes Essen, erstklassiger Service und eine exzellente Bierauswahl. Das Schonram Helles vom Fass war ein Genuss. Die kleine Außenterrasse lud zu einem gemütlichen Bier in der Sonne vor dem Abendessen ein.

Neugierig geworden durch die Lage in einem Wohngebiet und die guten Bewertungen, nahm ich die Straßenbahn von meinem Hotel und kam allein hierher. Obwohl es ein Wochentag war, war es brechend voll! Obwohl ich als japanische Alleinreisende unterwegs war, wurde ich unglaublich freundlich bedient. Es gibt eine Auswahl an etwas weniger bekannten Biersorten, und das Essen ist einfach köstlich. Es war so gut, dass ich wohl nie wieder ins berühmte Bräuhaus im Stadtzentrum gehen werde. Obwohl ich allein war, bestellte ich zwei Hauptgerichte und habe sie komplett aufgegessen – so gut war es! Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Sehr schönes kleines Wirtshaus. Die Speisen waren sehr gut. Der einzige Kritikpunkt wäre der Preis. Pro Person gibt man mit Trinken eigtl immer fast 50 Euro aus. Der Service war super aufmerksam. Man hat die Qualifikation der Mitarbeiter sehr positiv wahrgenommen. Großes Lob an Küche und Service an dieser Stelle!

Super angenehmes Wirtshaus mit leckersten Gerichten. Bayerische Küche par excellence, beste Biere, ein wunderbarer Abend. Sowohl das Rehgulasch, die Blut-/Leberwurst als auch die Kraftbrühen waren köstlich. On top: total freundliche, zuvorkommende und flinke Servicekräfte. Wenn wir nicht so weit weg wohnen würden, wäre das Wirtshaus Eder unser Stammlokal ❤️💪

Etwas abgelegen, dennoch gut erreichbar, liegt dieses schöne Gasthaus. Innen ist es urig. Das Service-Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen kam zügig und schmeckte richtig lecker: der Semmelknödel war außergewöhnlich gut und der zarte Schweinebraten ein Gedicht! Ich kann das Wirtshaus Eder uneingeschränkt empfehlen! Geht da hin und lasst euch kulinarisch verwöhnen!

Wir hatten vor Kurzem die Gelegenheit hier ein fantastisches Abendessen einzunehmen. Die Speicherkar folgt der bayrischen gutbürgerlichen Küche und ist super lecker! Der Service war freundlich, zuvorkommend und hat uns sehr gut beraten. Das Ambiente stammt noch von einem alten,typisch bayrischen Wirtshaus und macht die Atmosphäre damit sofort angenehm und urig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Genießt euren Aufenthalt hier und habt eine großartige Zeit! 👋

Das Essen war fantastisch; ich hatte Schweinefleisch, und es war unglaublich lecker und perfekt zubereitet. Die Mitarbeiter sind außerdem super nett und freundlich und sprechen sehr gut Englisch. Es gibt auch eine große Auswahl an Bieren; absolut empfehlenswert!

Ein wirklich tolles Wirtshaus mit überraschend gutem Essen. Wir hatten Gröstl, Spießbraten, Speckbrot und Griesschmarrn. Alle Gerichte ließen keine Wünsche offen. Die Getränkepreise für Fassbier waren mehr als günstig. 4,10 Eur für 0,5L Fassbier ist fast 2 Eur günstiger, als am Rhein. Und dabei sagt man, München sei teuer. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, wenn auch bei Getränken manchmal langsam. Dennoch kein Grund, die Bewertung anzupassen. Unser zweiter Besuch auf der Durchreise, aber sicher nicht unser letzter.

Einfach ein toller, uriger Laden, mit leckeren Bieren, tollem Schweinsbraten und herzlichen Personal

Auf Empfehlung bin ich in das Wirtshaus eingekehrt. Ich habe spontan noch einen Platz an der Bar bekommen. Sehr, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Die Kaspressknödel mit Sauerkraut waren geschmacklich der Hammer - super lecker und würzig. Das ausgewählte Bier vom Faß top ! Die Marillenknödel mit Keksbrösel und Eis als Nachspeise waren das i-Tüpfelchen !!! Das Wirtshaus selber ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet.

Mein sclechteste Erlebnis in einem restaurant hatte ich am samstag als ich 10€ trinkgeld gegeben habe, kamm eine Frau die vor alle Gäste mir erklärte das ich zu wenig geben habe. Ich dachte dad der kunde entscheidet. Mit 70 habe ich ein wenig erfahrung. Diese Frau war beim austeilen des anstandes nicht dabei. So eine frechheit habe ich noch nie gesehen. Ich kann nur denn zukünftigen gäste sagen das sie einen großen bogen um dieses writshaus machen sollen

Es ist nicht lecker. Ich bin nach dem Essen taub. Ich habe nicht viel Lust, nach dem Essen zu leben.Bu haochi，kuaipao！

Ein erstaunlicher Ort. Erstaunlich deswegen, weil mitten in München im Westend gelegen, und dann folgte dies: - Ein Gedicht von Schweinebraten mit einer echter Sauce, nichts Fertiges...der Braten hatte bei der Vorbereitung bereits seine Zeit! Da wurde offenbar mit einem Gutteil Weitblick gearbeitet. Resche Kruste und das ohne eigene extra Vorankündigung ;-) :) - Offenes, aufgeschlossenes und entspanntes Publikum sowie Personal. - Echt faires Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. - Abwechslungsreiche, ungewöhnliche Hintergrundmusik. - Wohltuend einfach eingerichtet...und das Ungewöhnliche versteckt sich im Detail, wirkt traditionell und dabei doch auf der Höhe der Zeit. Kurzum: ein Ort, urig ohne zuviel pompöses Plemplem. Ehrliches Küchenhandwerk, wo noch auf Inhalt statt maximaler Präsentation Wert gelegt wird. Was nicht heißt, dass nicht sauber gearbeitet bzw. präsentiert wird. Das ist heutzutage leider selten...und es scheint trotzdem möglich zu sein. Es gibt sie noch, diese kleinen kulinarischen Highlights. Dieser Ort gehört ab heute definitiv dazu. Bitte so weitermachen, heute wurden nicht nur mein Gaumen und Magen erfreut, sondern auch der Anteil in mir, der für Sympathie gegenüber einer geradlinigen bayrischen Kulinarikkultur steht. Ein herzliches Danke obendrein dafür! Und das z' Minga. Respekt.

Ein gutes bayerisches Restaurant, welches werktags am Abend aber sehr voll sein kann. Es scheint nicht ausreichend Platz für mehr als 30 Gäste zu geben. Das kann dann dazu führen, dass man relativ ungemütlich neben jemand anderen gedrängt sitzen muss. Zudem ist es relativ laut. Das Essen ist wie man es in einem bayerischen Restaurant erwarten kann, nichts wirklich Außergewöhnliches. Es gibt die bayerischen Klassiker, Käsespätzle, Schweinebraten, aber das ist es dann auch gewesen. Mit der Raffinesse und Kreativität anderer Küchen kann die bayerische einfach nicht mithalten. Das Bier ist von Tilmans und schmeckt gut. Service war ebenfalls sehr freundlich. Alles in allem also ein gutes Restaurant.

Hasan kauft den Fisch frisch am Markt und er kommt sofort auf den Tisch. Habe die ganze Woche nur Fisch gegessen und lecker.

Traditionelles Wirtshaus wie es Ur und Ururopa noch kannten. Allerdings rauchfrei und, für mich überraschend, ziemlich junges Publikum. Große Auswahl and Bier, etwas mehr Auswahl beim Essen wäre wünschenswert. Der Schweinsbraten war lecker. Sehr nette Bedienungen. Bin nicht mehr ganz jung, werde aber wieder kommen.

Trendiger und sicherer Ort für alle. Hunde sind willkommen. Gute Atmosphäre.

Original bayrisches Wirtshaus. Sehr leckeres Essen. Toller Service. Obwohl es am samstagabend sehr voll war, nahm sich der Kellner immer Zeit für uns wir wurden immer gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist, oder wir noch einfache habe. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!!!

Local restaurant. Very nice local atmosphere and great service. If more than 1 person need to reserve. Had the beef cheeks. Only tool given is a spoon, as sooo tender. Complimented with a weiss bier makes a fab dinner. Will be back !

The food was very good. The service was friendly, but could have been a bit more attentive to the customers. They seemed rather reserved to me. Otherwise, everything was fine.

We really liked this restaurant. It is off the beaten track and almost exclusively used g by locals. It was really busy, noisy as hell but overflowing with atmosphere. The service was a little slow but given how busy it was more than acceptable. The food was beautifully cooked and served pipping hot. Good selection of beers. We tried to book for another night but not surprisingly, it was not possible

I highly recommend it! We had to wait a bit even though we had a reservation. But we were able to have a beer and were offered a homemade schnapps. The food was excellent, and the service couldn't have been better! The atmosphere was also great!

Absolutely the best food we’ve had, everything was absolutely fantastic! Phillip was such an amazing bartender and he definitely made our trip to Munich that much more amazing! The atmosphere was warm and inviting! If you want a table you’ll most likely need a reservation but we got lucky and there was room to sit at the bar. The beer was delicious and so were the Schnapps.

The food was excellent! If you go near opening time, you can be serenaded with old Jazz music while sipping an excellent tasting craft beer. We are visiting from the US and wanted to try authentic Bavarian food.

Munich-style restaurant with Bavarian cuisine. We spent a lovely evening here with nine people after making a table reservation. The restaurant was busy, but a few seats were still available. The food and drinks were delicious and plentiful. We felt very comfortable here. This was partly due to the friendly and attentive service. We'd love to come back and are already looking forward to delicious food and freshly tapped drinks!

The food was truly delicious—traditional and typically Bavarian, of course. We sat outside, which was really pleasant given the quiet street. The service was friendly and came out regularly to clear away food or take new orders. Prices are typical for Munich.

We decided to visit at short notice and are still absolutely thrilled. The food was absolutely delicious (roast pork), the beer was excellent, and the rosé was also very good. The service was absolutely excellent, and the surroundings, even on the street, were very quiet and without the noisy brewery atmosphere. Highly recommended.

WOW!! There is an authentic German restaurant back in Phoenix, Arizona but that can't touch this place. Not only was the best German food I've ever had in my life, it was truly one of the best overall meals I've ever had. I've been to a couple of Michelin stared restaurants in Ireland and I would choose this place over those any day. I'm impressed with the service as well, the guys were super nice and accommodating to me being an English only speaker. Thank you all so much.

The food is great, not cheap, but fair. It can get quite loud inside, but the outside is great! Unfortunately, our service was not good; he never asked if we wanted anything, and he had to ask for two out of four drink orders again.

Not a typical pub atmosphere. Our snack platter for two was amazing. The Kaiserschmarrn for our daughter was only available as an adult version and cost €17.90. We had previously spent a week on vacation in Austria. This was the most expensive thing we've ever had. Otherwise, the service was exceptionally friendly.

As a "single eater," you're used to suffering. I made a reservation for two because the app doesn't allow reservations for one person. Still, I got a nice table in the beer garden. Thank you for that! That's not a given these days. The roast pork is perfect. Mine isn't any better. Thank you so much, and I look forward to my next visit! Hopefully, I won't be alone.

I had a side salad for starters and the Bavarian Gröstel for my main course. Both were really tasty and of good quality. However, the Gröstel had a bit too much gravy for my taste. The service was a little late to our table, but otherwise very friendly and helpful. It can get a bit noisy inside when there are a lot of customers, but the seating is still nice. You can also sit outside with a view of the street. Overall, a pleasant experience and definitely recommended!

June 2025. Good restaurant, good food, good beer. Service was friendly, young... and at times overwhelmed. Indoors, 3 meters from the bar, bringing drinks between 20 and 30 minutes after ordering is suboptimal. Recommended.

Very nice place with a good range of food and drinks on the menu and all of it tasted really good. Nice staff, fluent in both German and English. We got four meals between five people and it was a good amount of food. Really nice location with lots of outdoor seating in a quiet street.

A great insider tip – we found the food there to be of significantly higher quality and therefore better than in the larger, more well-known restaurants. The service was absolutely first-class; it couldn't be friendlier or better, and the prices are good! We're looking forward to our next trip to Munich and will definitely eat here again.

Traditional and a bit hip, definitely not stuffy. A good mix of Bavarian cuisine with a touch of lightness. Friendly and cool service, good food, tasty and filling. Everything's good!
