Great inn! Gladly again and again!

Absolutely gay from the toilet to the bar - that's why the prices are too high for little and boring food. Really a bit too much for the state capital. HH

I went there for dinner today with an old college friend and we had a really nice seat right at the counter. The staff is super friendly, we had a nice chat with them and the food was great too. Thanks for the lovely evening!

If I lived in the Westend, this would be my favorite bar. Tradition served up young. Best of all, several types of beer to choose from.

A small but comfortable Babaro restaurant with excellent cuisine and very pleasant service, highly recommended for those who want to try the typical food of Babaria and have a pleasant time.

Very nice staff! We didn't have a reservation, but they tried to find a place for two. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. All in all highly recommended!!! Thank you again at this point.

Good economy with nice service. When I visit a Bavarian restaurant for the first time, I always order the roast pork. The service was quick and attentive, the meat was tender and both the crust and the potato dumplings were very good. The sauce could be spicier and thicker. So much for food. It should be emphasized that they always have changing beers on tap. I like that kind of thing.

Friendly inn in Munich Laim. I got a seat at the counter without a reservation; the inn was very busy on Wednesday during the week. My Bavarian Kröstel was good and the beer was very good. Very friendly team!

Went to the Eder Wirtshaus in Westend for the first time yesterday. I'm thrilled. Modern interpretation of a Bavarian inn. Clear menu, good food, nice service and - very surprisingly - a very international audience. For people from Munich it's more of an insider tip, but it probably has a good reputation internationally - rightly so ;-)

The food was phenomenal! Started with beef broth with roasted cheese and bread with bacon and horseradish. Both spot on with balance of flavor, nothing overpowering. Entrees were spinach spatzle and roast beef with potatoes gratin. Both were exceptional. So much so that I kissed the chef on the way out. Jan was a superb server and we enjoyed his conversation while taking care of us. Got in about 1830 and soon the place was full. Disregard the online reservations that claim nothing available until certain times, those apps really have no idea. Do not miss out on great meals like ours because of an app....

We easily got a table on Friday evening without a reservation, which was clearly due to the goodwill of the staff, because it was very full. The staff is very friendly without being intrusive. Unfortunately it was very loud and the tables for two were a bit too narrow for my taste. We both had the beef goulash with bread dumplings. That tasted good.

Service was charming. Obviously an establishment frequented by locals. A bit off the beaten path but worth the trip. Good value, great food, awesome people.

Really nice meal. Very welcoming and good menu recommendations given. We had the roasted pork and schnitzel special, both were really nice. Lovely Wirsthaus slightly further out of the city centre but worth the trip. Our server was really nice. Would definitely recommend a visit. Even though it was midweek, the restaurant was busy with other diners, providing a lovely atmosphere in the outdoor terrace.

Gasthaus Eder is a great address in Munich to enjoy traditional cuisine with a slightly modern touch. Good food, very nice service and a nice afternoon with my family.

The roast pork with potato dumplings and cabbage is top class! Tender, crusty, big soft dumpling, great sauce. Rarely have I eaten so well. Actually never 🤪 And: friendly service, friendly atmosphere. We'll be back to discover more.

Very good selection of different dishes from Bavarian cuisine 👌🏼 The meatballs were plentiful and tasted very good. There are enough seats in the dining room with wooden furniture, but on some days it may be advisable to reserve in advance🍀 Very friendly staff and fast service ☀️

Rustic yet modernly furnished inn with traditional Bavarian dishes. Roast pork was very good, crust was crispy. Enough sauce and big dumpling. Overall very good value for money. Service very friendly.

We ate here while on vacation and absolutely loved this place! The food was delicious. It was located in a quiet side street, and they have beautiful outdoor patio seating. We would highly recommend this place to others!

Great food and service! I liked that the restaurant wasn't overcrowded with tourists. It's a bit hidden in a residential area. We were able to sit outside when the weather was good. I had Obazda as a starter and then the Käsespätzle. The portion looks small in the photos. But that's deceptive, the plates are just big. The spaetzle also came with a side salad. :)

Great food, great service and very nice service. Unfortunately, it couldn't really be explained why children's chairs are only available on Sundays. There may be reasons, but they need to be communicated better.

A super cozy restaurant with first-class cuisine. The service staff remains calm even under the greatest stress and creates a very pleasant atmosphere. This inn is just a disgrace!!! We reserved a table by phone some time ago. When we got there yesterday, we were told that they had a closed company and therefore our reservation was no longer valid. However, since we hadn't been canceled, they would serve us outside. Since it was just before a rain shower, we politely declined. We definitely won't be coming back!

Greatly renovated inn, with an extremely friendly persona and great beer (Schönramer Hell), which you can't find everywhere. The food was also really tasty and plentiful. If you are looking for an alternative location next to the younger (well booked) and newly furnished inns (e.g. Xavers, ...), you will absolutely find it here!

Spontaneous find, would probably generally recommend reserving but we got a table without wait. The food was exactly what we were hoping for and the place looks really nice. Two very young servers who did their job well. LGBTQ+ friendly.

I was kidnapped here by my family on Mother's Day and was skeptical when we got here. When I took a look at the menu I was surprised that there wasn't the typical tavern food here. So if you end up here you have to try the absolutely delicious salmon. The other dishes (Kaspressknödel, Spinachkässpatzn and the Gröstl) were also excellent. One drawback is that like many Munich restaurants, the place is too small and crowded. Second, the decoration is a bit like a bathroom and doesn't seem too friendly. The restaurant also does not offer a wide selection of wines, making it not suitable for a date. But despite its flaws, I will still consider visiting this restaurant many times because the taste and value for money are both good and worth visiting again and again. Standard German flavors, generous portions, a paradise for meat lovers, with warm and friendly service. One drawback is, like many restaurants in Munich, the space is too small and crowded. Secondly, the décor resembles a restroom, lacking a bit in warmth . The restaurant also does not offer a wide selection of wines, making it less suitable for a romantic date. Despite these minor flaws, I would still consider visiting this restaurant multiple times, as the taste and value for money are commendable and worth revisiting.

Great atmosphere and food! The Schweinshaxe (Pork knuckle) is delicious, especially the Knödel it came with. Waiters could be a little more attentive as it was hard to get their attention, but since it is very busy it is understandable. If you come with a lot of people you should reserve but if you are just 1-3 I’d say you can walk in and find a table (you sit on long tables with others).

Best roast pork (Schweinebraten) in MUC. The meat and the sauce had the perfect consistency and the piece of pork crust on top was simply amazing. The potato dumpling was topped with melted breadcrumbs, simply delicious. Only the coleslaw tasted like store-bought. It's a shame, because it's really easy to make and tastes so much better. The beer was also very tasty. The service was always friendly and on the ball. It was a lovely evening and we'll definitely be back. Recommendation!

Das ist das kulinarische und gastfreundliche Bayern, wie ich es liebe! Schweinebraten der unglaublich zart ist + ein Streifen der knusprigen Kruste. Tolle Knödel, sehr würzige Fleischpflanzerl. Der Nachtisch: ein Traum! Der Schokokuchen mit dem Pflaumenkompott und die Joghurt Mascarpone Creme. Zum Niederknien! Das Beste: die sagenhaft freundliche Bedienung! Beide Damen wirklich super nett und witzig. Hier kommen wir gerne wieder her! Absolute Empfehlung!

Had a family dinner there a week ago, and just want to say a special Gracias!/Thank you to our waitress Clara! (None of us spoke German) and we're a bit of a disaster and she was very sweet!

Gute bürgerliche Küche in der die Kaasspatzen auch wirklich nach Emmentaler schmecken, das Gröstl knusprig ist, und das Kartoffelpüree nach Kartoffeln schmeckt. Keine haute cuisine, aber wirklich zu empfehlen. Außerdem ist das Wirtshaus nicht Brauerei-gebunden - das heißt, es gibt neben Augustiner auch eine Auswahl an interessanten, oft lokalen Bieren, zum Beispiel Tilmans Helles.

Kleine, aber ausreichende Karte, auch für Veggies genug Auswahl, es war so lecker! Wir hatten (So am Abend) zum Glück reserviert, es war voll, aber trotzdem gemütlich und nicht überladen. Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Wir waren nun schon mehrfach im Wirtshaus Eder. Dana und ihr Team machen das super. Ganz tolle Service Truppe , bodenständiger Koch! Es ist wirklich sehr gute bayerische Küche, ordentliche Portionen, überschaubare Karte aber alles was drauf steht wird von der Küche bestens an den Gast gebracht. Man kann alle Portionen auch klein bekommen. Der Schweinsbraten mit zwei Scheiben und riesen Knödel ist wahrlich nicht, klein inklusive Beilagensalat. Wir hatten gestern Blut und Leberwurst mit Kartoffelstampf und Sauerkraut. Sehr gut!!! Was auch besonders erwähnenswert ist, die Abwechslung bei den Bieren. Hier haben hier unser neues Lieblingsbier entdeckt. Schönramer Helles. Wir kommen schon nächsten Sonntag wieder. Schwiegervater im Schlepp. 😂 Der will auch endlich mit und den Schweinebraten essen . Macht weiter so!

Selten einen so guten Schweinebraten und Semmelknödel gegessen. Die hausgemachten Zimtnudeln waren ein Gedicht. Für Rollstuhlfahrer separater Eingang (fragen). Leider keine behinderten Toilette. Waren rundum sehr zufrieden.

Die Musikauswahl war sehr fragwürdig! Da kam so Ballermann-Musik. Von meinem Essen war ich leider enttäuscht. Für einen Flammlachs für 23,50€ erwarte ich schon etwas. Leider war es geschmacklich nicht wirklich gut. Da ist ein Flammlachsbrötchen auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt besser. Außerdem finde ich es nicht gut, auf harten Holz-Barhockern ohne Lehne Abend essen zu müssen. Und wir hatten einen normalen Tisch. Konnte dann echt nicht mehr sitzen. Was aber gut war war der Service. Ansonsten habe ich mich leider nicht so wohlgefühlt.

Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal und sehr leckeres Essen. Irgendwie original bayrisch und trotzdem innovativ. Es gibt original bayrischen Schweinebraten mit richtig krosser Kruste, aber auch Salat mit feinem Dressing. Der Saibling mit Kartoffelstampf war ebenfalls lecker. Rundum empfehlenswert. Für uns eine gelungene Mischung aus original und innovativ eben. Schön eingerichteter Gastraum und bei schönem Wetter auch schön zum draußen sitzen. Wir waren nun drei Mal da, haben uns immer sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder
