Small and fine. We ate very well and felt completely comfortable. Price-performance top. Reservation recommended.

Nina is a saint. Waltzed in here at 10 during Oktoberfest and she hooked us up. This place is authentic with locals and very warm and friendly. Don't even need to go to the city. Love this place.

The best food I've had in all of Germany! It was very cosy and felt like a genuine Bavarian inn. The staff were wonderful also, I don't speak a word of German and the hostess took the time to read through and explain the entire menu for me. A restaurant you need to visit if you're ever in Munich and want to try to authentic German/Bavarian cuisine!

Super cute place! The atmosphere is rustic and very cozy, you feel like you are in a cabin in the mountains. The service was super friendly and the food is very freshly prepared - we even heard our schnitzel being pounded :-) You can also choose the meat for all schnitzel dishes, which I think is particularly good.

We were warmly welcomed and given a table straight away. The food is to die for and highly recommended. All dishes were freshly made and we felt very comfortable. Thank you very much and we will come back next time we visit Munich

Good home-style food in a very German atmosphere that lives up to the name Hüttenwirt. It's a shame that card payments are not accepted - apparently for ideological reasons.

At Naumann’s Hüttenwirt it always tastes very good. Isarschnitzel, Kasspätzle are all delicious - but especially the Healthy Gickerl. Portions are very large, everything is great in terms of quality and taste. You get more than enough for your money. Very nice service!

Naumann's Hüttenwirt is by far one of the best places to eat schnitzel and other Bavarian dishes. I love the meat patties, they are really damn good! The chef has really learned his craft. Here you can still cook like you would at home. The service is very friendly.

Hut keeper is brilliant. Unfortunately, the last time I was there was 12 years ago with my late Spetz'l. Afterwards I didn't have much time to go out to eat. But I'm going to attack that this year. The blonde boss and her husband (brilliant cook and motorcycle enthusiast) are so loving and cool. Simply insane. I have been a chef myself for 30 years. Especially the sausage salad and the schnitzel with Jöger sauce or the unique Hüttenpfander'l. Gigantic. Just come by and see for yourself. We always enjoy going to Munich's Schnitzel King. The schnitzels are available in many variations and an absolute recommendation. But all other dishes are also a real culinary delight. You can tell that the cooking here is done with a lot of love and passion. The ambience is rustic and harmonious and the service is quick and extremely friendly.

Very nice place lovely food and wonderful service

Antje is the heart and soul of this wonderful, small and very personal restaurant and Christian is unique as a cook and boss. The food is great and the beer is excellent. Switching from Augustiner to Tegernsee beer wasn't a deterioration 😊 And I would particularly like to recommend the Bergsteigerschnitzel.

Was already or only the second time at the Hüttnwirt. Both times it was simply wonderful...the warm welcome from Astrid already suggests a great evening. The food is incredibly good and plentiful. I hope that I will have the opportunity to stop at the Hüttnwirt again soon. :-)

The only thing I can "complain" about is that we didn't notice this gem sooner. But that's our mistake ;) Excellent food, good standard menu and mostly (seasonal) additional dishes, it always tasted very good and the service leaves nothing to be desired. But please don't everyone come now, otherwise the few places will be gone more often (fun!). Oasis of well-being!

I visited for the first time with a friend in December last year. The police officer was also eating and I felt relieved. The fact that there are regular customers means that it is a popular and relaxing restaurant. Of course, we can also eat slowly and deliciously. The interior has a warm, homely atmosphere, and the German cuisine is delicious and satisfying.

A perfect place to be there with colleagues. Very good hut feeling. If you want to taste good liquor (Schnaps) this is the place for you. If you want tasty burger, this is the right place for you.

Reservations are strongly recommended / needed. Call ahead. The place is small and cozy. Hospitality (owner?) kindly recommended other places along with directions to get there, when I arrived without a reservation. After mentioning that I just wanted a beer and a curry wurst, they made room for me and I was seated and provided with a lovely and quick meal at a reasonable price - despite not having a reservation. The pear schnapps was lovely.

We celebrated our 40th birthday and I can only recommend everyone to celebrate here. Antje and Christian did such a great job. The food and service was excellent 😀. Eine kleines Lokal mit treuer Stammkundschaft. Sehr hübsches Ambiente mit herzlicher Bedienung. Leckere Schnitzel vor Ort und eventuelle Tagesspezialitäten wie Fleischpflanzerl! Es ist besser vorher immer anzurufen und zu reservieren. !!! Wichtig: Nur Barzahlung möglich !!!

Das Essen ist sehr gut man merkt, dass alles selber gemacht ist. Der Service auch ist auch sehr nett und freundlich. Ich werde ab sofort immer mal wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend

Enjoyed the cozy mountain cabin vibe. We tried the schnitzel and dessert—both amazing! After requesting an English menu the hostess translate the entire menu for me. The menu struck the perfect balance, neither overwhelming nor too short. Also, loved the schnapps served on a cool wooden block. Reserving a table is a good idea for a smooth visit. Cash only

Was für ein wunderschöner uriger Laden. Klein aber fein und das in jeder Hinsicht. Man sollte unbedingt reservieren! Die Inhaber sind einfach nur herzlich, das Ambiente urig bayrisch/österreichisch. Das Essen ist sensationell lecker! Der Aperol Spritz haut richtig rein und auch die Schnäpse und Desserts am Schluss – ein Traum. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Preislich für München tip top, zumal die Portionen echt gross sind. Unbedingt die Apfelküchle am Schluß essen – da möchte man sich reinlegen. Wir waren hin und weg und verzaubert und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Auch die Gäste rechts und links neben uns – alle samt nett und man kommt ins Gespräch. Wichtig: unbedingt Bargeld mitnehmen. Denn Bargeld ist Freiheit! Wie wahr! Großes Kompliment an die beiden Gastgeber!!! Ihr seid großartig. DANKE!!!!!!‘ Und eine schöne Adventszeit.

We're visiting Munich and wanted a traditional Bavarian dinner. Came here on recommendations from a friend and were not disappointed. Small location that's usually busy, so come here early or expect to have to make a reservation. Service is great. Very friendly. Food is amazing as well. Large portions, great flavors, and exactly what we wanted. This time we got the pork schnitzel, but we also had the curry wurst and the potato soup, both of which were amazing. Bring cash as well, no cards.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und an einen gemütlichen Tisch drinnen platziert, weil draußen alles voll war. Die Stimmung war angenehm, lebhaft und familiär. Die Bedienung äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war frisch und köstlich. Preise Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Ich empfehle es uneingeschränkt.

Gemütliche Kneipe "an der Ecke". Rustikale Einrichtung, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Der Lauterbacher Schnapps ist sehr speziell, muß man aber mal probiert haben :-D

I'm the brother of the family, but living abroad. I just want to make a review from a neutral perspective. This is a absolute unique place. Authentic bavarian ( and more ) specialities in highest quality, made from Munich born hands in rustical, alpine interior and atmosphere. The service ( female owner ) is extremely friendly and super skilled, which is hardly to find. Sitting inside or the beautiful outdoor area, is a round joy to feel MUNICHIAN lifestyle. It isn't a secret place anymore.... Reservation is absolutely required.
