The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The service was very friendly and fast. However, a curtain between the entrance area and the restaurant would be helpful, as cold air often came in during the winter.

Bültmannshof 1802 is an excellent restaurant. The owner, Ali, is a wonderful host – he takes time for his guests and is always available. The entire staff is also consistently attentive and helpful. Yesterday, on Christmas Day, we once again enjoyed the fantastic buffet with the whole family. It truly left nothing to be desired: roast beef, venison, wild boar roast, goose – the selection was incredible. This was our second time there for the Christmas buffet, and we've already made a reservation for next year. But we also love going to 1802 outside of the Christmas season. They always have great specials like schnitzel buffets, roulade buffets, or hot stone buffets. The regular menu also offers many highlights – besides the hot stone buffets, I especially recommend the original Wiener Schnitzel. We always enjoy being guests here!

A large restaurant in an old half-timbered house. Some dishes, like the liver and the boiled beef, are highly recommended. The service is attentive and efficient. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. A seat by the crackling fireplace on a cold winter evening or outside by the pond on a balmy summer evening is not to be missed. We have always felt comfortable here. The prices are absolutely reasonable for what is offered.

The pasta with chicken, the roast pork, and the Bavarian appetizer were delicious 😋. The knuckle of pork, on the other hand, was only okay. We always enjoy coming to Ali's. We've known this restaurant for over 50 years, and with his friendly staff and excellent menu (always something for every taste), Ali has once again made it a place worth visiting.

The nicest service and the nicest manager I've ever experienced in a restaurant. The beer garden is simply beautiful with a view of the pond. My meal was delicious but very simple. They responded very well to my comments. I'm not that experienced either.

We drove there today from Hövelhof for dinner, and it was simply fantastic. Everything was superb. The food, the service, the atmosphere. It's top notch, and well worth it.

The service and staff are always very friendly and do their best. However, the quality of the schnitzel has declined significantly recently, and the side salad often leaves something to be desired and is sometimes not very fresh, which is a shame. On the other hand, the steakhouse fries are always delicious, as is the dip plate with homemade bread, which is a highlight for me. A clear recommendation for both gourmets who value a beautiful location and lovers of traditional home cooking.

My father and I live near Göttingen and were watching the Terra Wortmann Open. We stayed overnight in Bielefeld and, based on the reviews, went to eat at Wirtshaus 1802. Not only were we thrilled by the delicious food and the great atmosphere, but we also met two absolutely lovely people. Our (Lower Saxon) waiter and the manager were simply super nice. We've already bought our tickets for the 2026 tennis tournament. Where we'll be going for dinner next is out of the question. The promised calf bladder will definitely be in our luggage. I expected more from the Bültmannshof. Since many guests ate from the "hot stone," there was a lot of smoke throughout the restaurant. I ordered beef roulard, sorry, I'm not a professional, but I can do better with that. The schnitzel was also more of a snack bar standard.

There are many delicious dishes and drinks here, also for vegetarians. The beer garden invites you to linger. I feel comfortable inside because the old farmhouse has been converted and offers plenty of space. There is a playroom for the little ones. The inn is barrier-free and there is a wheelchair-accessible toilet on the ground floor. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We have been guests at Wirtshaus 1802 for many years and always enjoy coming back. Whether for dining a la carte, for the hot stone buffet or for the large Easter buffet, the food and service are simply great. The highlight was a magnificent wedding celebration last year. The team put in a lot of effort and made it possible for us to have an unforgettable wedding celebration. This is also thanks to the very good preliminary discussions and the responsiveness to our wishes. The outdoor wedding ceremony on the terrace with the pond in the background is simply fantastic. The large hall for eating and dancing as well as various niches for counters, buffers, gift tables and children's playrooms is brilliant. All the guests raved about the great wedding menu for a long time. Many thanks again to the entire team around Ali, Ellen and Chris!!! See you soon ;)

We ate here today and awarded 5 stars rounded up for the delicious food (the salad had little to no of the specially ordered sauce) as well as a full 5 stars for the absolutely first-class service and the friendliness of the entire staff. In our opinion, the interior itself should be renovated, the various wallpapers and paintwork look a bit old, partly worn and not harmonious. The children's playroom seems a bit loveless and tired. The decoration such as pictures etc. could also be made a little more valuable and harmonious. All in all, it's great, you can eat delicious food here and that's what it's all about. We'd love to come back!

I ordered the kale dish. Unfortunately I was very disappointed, the kale tasted like it came from a frozen bag, not dressed, not seasoned, tasted of nothing. Really a shame. Sorry, but I can't recommend this dish.

I went there for dinner with my family on Christmas Day. Unfortunately, due to a scheduling error that can happen anywhere, we had to wait a little longer for our table. However, to compensate for the inconvenience caused, the manager made us a more than acceptable offer, which we gratefully accepted. We were then able to enjoy a gourmet buffet at its best, which can only be described as excellent in terms of both quantity and quality. Overall I can say: Kitchen: TOP! Ambiance: TOP! Service: TOP! Boiled eggs were in short supply; for almost an hour there were none. A salt and pepper shaker for 30 people. The outdoor area is shabby, not for smokers.

Today we had breakfast at 1802 with four people and we were absolutely thrilled! Super nice and relaxed staff, the buffet was plentiful and lovingly prepared. Coffee was brought directly to the table in thermoses. My gluten-free rolls were so delicious that I immediately ordered more. Scrambled eggs and other ice cream dishes are freshly prepared and therefore taste really good. The fruit salad is made from fresh fruit, together with the quark, yoghurt or pudding on offer, a great ending! A great atmosphere in the half-timbered house, we would love to come back!

If you're hungry, it's better to go somewhere else.
