A bit older hotel, but very well maintained and top service. I was able to charge my electric car AC overnight - perfect!

Great hotel for an overnight stay. Luckily I had to get up on time because at 830 am the cleaning lady was already banging on the door and then chatting with her colleagues in the hallway.

Staff very friendly. Price/performance fits. Rooms with good facilities, clean and well maintained.

They were so nice and helpful to me. I really feel them like my friends. I thank you all the staff. I suggest the hotel for everyone.

Easily accessible and friendly staff

The staff are polite and courteous, the hotel has enough parking space and the rooms are absolutely satisfactory. It's actually pretty good to sleep in the beds. The shower and exit function perfectly and cleanliness is ensured. The Wi-Fi reception is good, and in principle this is an absolutely suitable hotel for the run-of-the-mill business traveler. The only negative points that stand out are the old-fashioned 1990s interior design and the presence of thick, heavy keys as an opening mechanism for the doors. A shockingly large proportion of our fellow human beings don't seem to have the idea to open and close the doors quietly out of consideration for other guests, even at 11:30 p.m. Other hotels have switched to cards and that would also make sense here given the noisy room doors. Otherwise, I think the solution with the intermediate doors in the hallways, which close very slowly and quietly, is very successful. I don't find the restaurant in the hotel convincing in terms of price/performance, but at least it's nice that there is the option to eat something on site. Otherwise there are some good restaurants in the area. In summary, I would come again, but I would hope that I have normal people as my roommates and not some Neanderthals who have to slam the doors in the middle of the night.

A small but very lovingly run hotel, suitable for groups. Restaurant and breakfast very good.

There are great shopping opportunities in the center, where you can also visit very beautiful buildings and museums. The Botanical garden is highly recommended, but you need to have good legs because the garden is laid out on a slope with steep paths and many stairs.

Neat hotel, good rooms, sufficient breakfast, friendly service. Good public connection to the city. In short, nothing to complain about and highly recommended for a visit to Bielefeld.

You shouldn't be guided by the first impression when you see the hotel from the outside. It's getting a little old. But when you come in, this thought quickly disappears. The furnishings are very tasteful and modern. Apart from the hallway, there is air conditioning everywhere, including in the rooms, which was very beneficial given the temperatures. The rooms are large and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was very rich and was filled up. In the evening we ate in the restaurant and the food was also very good. The hotel is located at an intersection and there is normal street noise. I was very satisfied with my stay.

Decent hotel room clean staff very friendly

Perfect hotel at a reasonable price. We have nothing to delay. Air conditioning, both stationary and mobile. TV with all the channels you could want. Free parking. Nice bathroom and fridge. Straßenbahn close by. We did not try the restaurant, so we cannot comment on it.

Sometimes the service is so great, that all other things don’t matter. I don’t think the rooms are the best (they are fine) or the locations is fantastic (it was on our route) but i would chose it again, just because of the great service we got. A note. There is only 1 ev charger.

This hotel is good for a basic overnight stay on the way south. Restaurant and breakfast are quite ok. Super value for money, so therefore good recommendation - I would like to come again 👍

First I was supposed to go into a room where there was only a small corner table, no room for a laptop, with a mouse it would fall down the side. With luck, I got a different room with a table. (great service). But then the internet kept crashing. I went towards the hallway with the laptop. It got better there and at least stayed there, but after a while it tore down again. I rearranged the furniture and got through the week with Netflix in the evenings. The room: has a lot to offer: refrigerator, dessert, an air conditioning unit (really great thing), bedside table, a cupboard, an armchair and a chair but the room is simply too small for this amount of furniture + bed. Especially if you are forced to move the furniture because of the internet. The bathroom is modern, clean but narrow. Chubby people could have problems between the sink and the wall. In the shower there is no plate on the wall where you can put shower gels. The breakfast in the hotel costs €13 but also has something to offer: delicious.

Large, clean rooms. Top service. Cheap, extensive breakfast. Convenient location, free parking at the house. The city center can be reached on foot in 20-30 minutes. Restaurant with good selection of dishes. The staff is super friendly.

Had no (hot) water all days because they were replacing the pipes. Compensated with free drinks during dinner. So not worth repeating.

The room was ok, but I've stayed in many better hotels. Cleanliness was also relatively ok. Unfortunately there was no warm water coming out of the shower. Judging by the conversations at the neighboring tables, I wasn't alone with the problem. The breakfast was also OK. The staff was friendly. The parking spaces are not that good. And the location is Bielefeld.

Rooms...sometimes a little less is more... unfortunately located on the street

Very friendly and helpful staff, rooms with everything you need. Good and plentiful breakfast buffet. The charging station for electric cars was a real plus. Since the reception is usually no longer staffed on Sunday afternoons, the charging card was left in the room. Everything worked perfectly.

We held our wedding celebration at the Brenner Hotel with 40 guests and everything went great! It is very close to Bielefeld city center and the guests got to the location within 10 minutes after the registry office. Parking spaces were plentiful. The food was delicious and our wishes were taken into account when choosing and expanding the premises. The service was very courteous and all guests were happily looked after. I highly recommend it.

Very neat and modern furnished rooms. Good beds, but very disappointing pillows (much too thin). Pleasant staff in the service, but the manager gave too obvious instructions on how staff should act. As guests of the hotel, this is very uncomfortable. When asked whether our children could use the bowling alley, she often emphasized that no more than 12 people were allowed to be present.

It was a really nice hotel, the outside is currently being renovated so at first we thought it was nothing. But when we came in it was beautiful, nice friendly staff. Rooms have everything you need, the pillows are feather pillows too soft for me but that doesn't mean anything. Food was so delicious. Nice hotel, good location, very friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and clean, as is the bathroom. The gastronomy in the hotel was very good, which I liked, very nice menu not too thick so you can assume that all the dishes are fresh. You can dine in the restaurant or in the beer garden, which is very nice when the sun is shining. Conclusion: Very nice hotel price/performance 👍 Gladly again. The only negative point In my room the towels were outdated and no longer terrycloth.

Hotel corresponds to the price-performance ratio. Nice rooms with mobile air conditioning and a small, brightly lit external refrigerator. Room staff could be more careful. There is a bar in the restaurant, but it has the same opening hours as the restaurant and closes between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. A pity. The breakfast buffet is not overloaded and there is something for every taste. However, questions about what is not available are not welcome. In my case it was lactose-free milk (vegetable milk substitute is available, but I don't like it in the muesli) and green tea (green tea with yasmin was available). A paradise for coffee drinkers, fully automatic and filter coffee in cans available for breakfast. The restaurant is highly recommended, you prepare your own meat/fish on a hot stone at the table. The drinks menu also includes something for every connoisseur. I recommend the long drinks with local gin

The staff at reception and in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The room service left a lot to be desired. Making beds wasn't her forte.

Were there for 2 nights with children. Booked perfectly over the phone because booking couldn't book the right room. Fresh towels and a small bottle of water every day. Room without balcony but super spacious and clean. Beautiful blankets and pillows sooo soft. Parking right in front of the door. Bar and kitchen impeccable downstairs in the hotel. They were super nice and responded to our every wish. Small beer garden. So small but the hotel leaves nothing to be desired! From 6.30 a.m. breakfast buffet!!!! This definitely needs to be mentioned. We were super satisfied and can only recommend the hotel!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I recommend this hotel we had a good stay

I stayed at the Hotel Brenner for 5 days as part of a tour group. From the friendly welcome, to the modernly equipped rooms, to the always friendly service staff, to the flexibility with regard to special wishes and requirements that a larger group brings with it, I would also like to thank our guests. The food was attractive, of good quality and selection, served as a buffet and at the table. The breakfast buffet also offered a large selection. Thanks to the entire team.

Arrived Parking was easy, huge carpark to the rear of the hotel, free as well! Room was exceptionally clean and lovely beds were great and I had an amazing night's sleep, I also ate in the restraint and had the filet steak it was wonderful. Will stay again.

The house looks a bit dusty from the outside, but work is currently underway on that. The rooms are clean and available at acceptable prices. The service leaves nothing to be desired! The breakfast is rich, there is something for everyone. I had to wait a bit for dinner in the cozy restaurant, which was due to the number of orders placed at the same time. But it was worth the wait - very tasty! And to end the day with a cozy nightcap at the bar. Gladly again 👌

Central location, room size great. Very friendly reception. Night check-in super easy. Beds very comfortable. Clean. Breakfast good. Only thing was that the wooden doors and windows were getting old, but I was very happy with the hotel. I can recommend it.

The staff is very nice. The food so-so. Definitely ready-made sauces, the dishes are not seasoned, even maggi has more seasoning.

My hotel rating: An all-round successful stay. My stay at the Brenner Hotel was absolutely fantastic and I am completely satisfied! My room was spotlessly clean, new and modernly decorated - exactly what I was hoping for. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, which made my stay particularly pleasant. The hotel's kitchen deserves special recognition as it treated me to delicious meals. The beer in particular was simply delicious and complemented my meals perfectly. I absolutely loved my stay, but there is one small criticism I would like to mention. There was a sentence on the menu in English that made me smile: "they roast themselves...". This sentence is not entirely grammatically correct and could cause confusion or even a laugh. It would be nice if this little bug could be fixed. Overall, however, I was totally satisfied and would highly recommend the Brenner Hotel to everyone!

Stayed with family, overall basic hotel so reasonable value for money and on good transport link to city centre via tram network. Stay would have been better if given advance notice of building works were taking place during the stay, with drilling starting at 8am each morning. Also disappointed that the larger limited seating area in the bar was reserved but not used meaning unable to sit in bar On a positive note the al a carte menu was good and portion size very good

Small but nice. I stayed at the hotel for two weeks on business and was consistently happy there. The hotel room was fine, the volume on a main road is also audible to a certain extent (usual for a hotel in a big city). The reason why I make the effort to write a novel in addition to a positive review is because of the lovely staff, who in my opinion are very competent, communicative, friendly and helpful. You feel welcome here and the warm atmosphere infects you. If you are looking for a hotel room where you spend most of your time away from home, to explore Bielefeld or if you need accommodation for business purposes, then you have come to the right place. P.S. If you stay there overnight and something doesn't suit you, just speak to the staff so that the dissatisfaction/unrest can be resolved immediately and you feel comfortable for the rest of your stay! We had a wonderful weekend. This time because of the cold, motorcycling alternated with a city trip. Beautiful area for touring. Nice city to view.

Rooms large, modern, very clean, coffee machine very practical for the first coffee of the day. Staff extremely friendly, both in the restaurant and at the reception and at the very tasty breakfast buffet. Dinner was also very good! All in all perfect!

There are reasons why free earplugs are available at reception. Rooms although renovated, but very noisy. The neighbor's snoring, the loud slamming of the doors at night until midnight and in the morning from 5 a.m. and the loud conversation of the guests in the hallway prevent a pleasant sleep.

We are really happy that we chose Brenner Hotel. Even though our stay was short, we found it really good with free parking and well maintained rooms. Receptionists were really supportive, we wanted to work during the day and that was also possible without any issue.

Very convenient for an overnight stay (close to the A2). Decent hotel, a bit dated but it does provide parking and is pet-friendly. Small bathroom, but room was spacious and breakfast buffet nice. Kettle provided in the room (only tea supplied). Only German tv channels (not even world news/Eurosport)

Gutes Hotel in zentraler Lage mit guter Küche

The rooms and the hotel in general are totally fine. I was there for work so I don't know about prices. Breakfast was fine. Nothing bad, classic hotel breakfast. We did have dinner once and I don't think they quite know what Ratatouille is. They served me fried veggies on very oily deep fried potatoes. Not bad, but please get your names right.

Zimmer sind okay, Bad ist schön. Die Straße ist etwas laut, aber man kann die Fenster schließen. Parkmöglichkeiten zur Genüge gegeben.

Das Hotel ist zentral an einer stark befahrenen Straße gelegen. Die Parkplatzsituation ist bei voller Auslastung des Hotels nicht gut. Wir Kollegen haben uns gegenseitig zuparken müssen, anders hätte es nicht funktioniert. Das Hotel an sich scheint schon älter zu sein, die Zimmer sind allerdings relativ neu und modern eingerichtet und werden täglich gereinigt. Leider riecht man das Restaurant bereits wenn man aus dem Auto steigt und das ändert sich innerhalb des Hauses leider auch nicht. Hat man ein Zimmer zur Straße ist es Nachts sehr laut. Vermutlich ist die gegenüberliegende Seite ruhiger, allerdings dann über der Küche. Das Frühstück ist für den aktuellen Preis von 11,50€ in Ordnung. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

De locatie ten opzichte van het openbaar vervoer is prima, maar het hotel ligt aan een drukke weg. Ook 's avonds en 's nachts is het niet rustig. Met de ramen dicht hoor je niets. Dus slapen met de ramen dicht. Restaurant is prima, ontbijtbuffet is erg uitgebreid. Personeel is erg vriendelijk.

Warum dafür bezahlen, dass das Fleisch in der Küche fertig wird?! Der Koch arbeitet daran, ein Gericht fertigzustellen! Es ist absurd, 5 Euro extra zu zahlen, um Ihre Bestellung abzuschließen!

Sehr gut geführtes Hotel mit Restaurant. Ausgesprochen gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Prima Lage, Stadtbahnhaltestelle praktisch vor der Türe. Sie kommt alle zehn Minuten und führt in knapp zehn Minuten in die Altstadt. Frühstück reichhaltig und ausgesprochen freundliches Personal. Bin sehr zufrieden.

Hilfsbereites freundliches Personal

Zimmer ist schön und geräumig. Allerdings sind die Zimmer hellhörig wie sonst etwas. Man sitzt auf Toilette und hört den Typ im Nebenzimmer über seinen Fußpilz reden. Das fanden wir nicht schön. Schade das das Bett kein durchgängiges war, sondern zwei Matratzen.

Sehr gutes Ambiente, gepflegte, schöne, geräumige Zimmer. Hervorragende Speisen und ein freundliches, kompetentes Personal machen den Aufenthalt komplett. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder wenn im "JAZZCLUB BIELEFELD" wieder Musik nach unserem Geschmack ist.

Ich verbrachte, zum 1. Mal, im Hotel Brenner 3 Nächte und kann es vorbehaltlos empfehlen. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb der City, eine Straßenbahn sowie Bus-Haltestelle sind vielleicht 200 M entfernt, so dass es gar kein Problem ist, es mit öffentlichen Mitteln zu erreichen. Das Hotel hat einen großen Parkplatz direkt neben dem Gebäude. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr zuvorkommend. Das Einzel-Zimmer war sehr sauber, mit einem bequemen Bett (sehr gute Matratze), einem Mini-Kühlschrank, einem Luft-Filter-Reiniger und, was super ist, einem kleinen Tablet ausgestattet. Das Bad war etwas klein, aber mit einer hervorragenden Dusche ausgestattet. Alles in allem: hat mir sehr gut gefallen, ich komme sicher wieder😊

Zimmer hat gepasst. Etwas warm durch Sonneneinstrahlung aber das ließ sich durch Lüften korrigieren. Falls man das Fenster offen lässt, muss man Nachts mit den üblichen Stadtgeräuschen an einer größeren Ampelkreuzung rechnen. Parkplätze sind auf dem Hotelgelände verfügbar. WLAN kostenlos. Frühstücksbuffet mit guter Auswahl. Preis/Leistung im Restaurant ist absolut in Ordnung. Personal durchweg sehr freundlich.

Old but good. It looks like they haven’t changed the furniture since 1985 but everything is clean and well maintained. They can’t lively up the sadness of a German single room though…

Alles war perfekt. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Alles ist gut mit den Öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar.

Rene og fine værelser i god størrelse. Vi havde et 4 mands værelse og det var virkelig fint. Det eneste der kunne være var at der var lidt lydt, så vi kunne høre gæster på gangen og sådan noget. Hotellet var gode til at skilte med at der skulle være ro når man kom ind på værelsesgangen.

Wir waren zu einem 80. Geburtstag eingeladen mit ca. 80 anderen Gästen im großen Saal. Das Essen war hervorragend - ganz besonders das Prime Beef. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ein sehr gelungener Abend. Ein Lob an das Team vom Hotel. 👏👏👏👏

Ich war nur eine Nacht dort, hätte mich aber auch länger dort wohl gefühlt. Der Empfang sehr freundlich und professionell. Das Zimmer schön geräumig und sauber. Ja, es gab so etwas wie Flecken auf dem Teppich, aber das wäre meckern auf höchstem Niveau. Es gab ein schönes Bett, einen Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und eine Lüfter für kühle Luft. Ebenso ein sauberes und modernes Bad. Beim Frühstück habe ich nichts vermisst. Alles war frisch und wurde immer wieder aufgefüllt. Hier und allgemein war das gesamte Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. 5 Sterne auf jeden… 👍

Gutes Hotel. Zimmer war sauber. Kleiner Kühlschrank vorhanden. Tablet im Zimmer mit Infos zu Hotel und Umgebung und zum Surfen. Frühstück war von der Auswahl ausreichend. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ca. 500 m von einer Strassenbahn Haltestelle alles locker erreichbar. Supermarkt auch fussläufig erreichbar. Sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis.

Fantastic dog friendly hotel. Lovely breakfast

Wir sind ja beruflich jedes Jahr im Hotel für über eine Woche. Man fühlt sich wirklich wohl. Nicht nur das die Zimmer wirklich schön und riesig sind, auch das komplette Personal ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und versucht immer auf unsere Wünsche einzugehen. Da ist es wie so eine Art Urlaub, wenn es für uns wieder heißt das es nach Bielefeld geht. Und so kommen wir immer gerne wieder!!
