Very neat hotel with good price quality ratio. Very friendly staff also for the dog. Location was a bit boring but ideal to visit the Teutenborgerwoud. Breakfast was also very neat for the price. Recommended!

Hotel is located on a main road and far from the center

First, the positive: the staff isn't the problem; everyone was very friendly and helpful. Hence, four stars for the service. The problem: Upon entering the room, there was an unpleasant smell of drains. It was also very warm, which suggests that the windows, etc., aren't very well insulated. Upon further inspection of the room, I noticed that it had probably only been superficially cleaned. There were cobwebs in the corners and a lot of dust under a side table. The curtains weren't in order, weren't hanging on all the hooks, and couldn't be closed completely because the rail was jammed. The toilet brush holder wasn't cleaned either, which might have been the cause of the smell. The mattress is generally very firm, which is fine for me, but there was already a significant dip in the middle. It was very noisy at night. While free earplugs were available at reception, it would have been nice if the hotel had invested in new windows and doors to minimize traffic and hallway noise. Unfortunately, the air conditioning system doesn't disguise the glaring deficiencies. Although it worked, it was noisy. I would have liked to use the provided tea set, but I didn't dare due to the state of cleanliness of the room. I was staying there for a training course and didn't pay for the room myself; otherwise, I would have left. I will also inform my employer about this. However, I won't consider this hotel for another trip. The hotel parking lot is large, but the parking spaces aren't clearly marked. The location is quite good, but not in the city center. At least there is a tram stop nearby. I can't comment on the hotel's restaurant.

I can only warmly recommend this hotel. The reception was extremely polite and a parking space was immediately reserved for my coach in the hotel parking lot. FLAWLESS!! I expected a room with a bed and got a suite, mega big. From the bathroom you can access the balcony. Everything is Pikobello clean, very well maintained.🥇 The staff is extremely attentive and remembers small details that make the stay extremely pleasant. I would almost say it feels like you come home and someone is waiting for you. Thank you for everything!!!

Good and affordable hotel. Breakfast is excellent. Staff very friendly. Pillows are soft. But you can ask for extra pillows. Air conditioning works well. Eating in the restaurant is definitely worth it. And the beer tasting is highly recommended. It is very nice that you can park for free. And you can reach the city in no time by public transport. You don't need the car anymore.

Simple hotel, but ideal for visiting Bielefeld. The tram into the city is a few minutes' walk away and then the tram takes you to the center in ten minutes. The staff is friendly, the hotel clean and tidy. The restaurant was tasty and the breakfast sufficient. Free parking in front of the door.

Location is oké just out of the city centre. Rooms are oké but no more then that. Breakfast is very simple but oké. Nice that you can have lunchbag instead of breakfast. Parking back of the hotel is free

We were rebooked into this hotel and we were very surprised. At first we were a bit surprised because the frames were missing a bit of paint, but the room was great Nice and big, clean and everything you needed. The staff was very friendly and helped us with any questions. It was a pleasant stay, would happily return.

A very service-oriented hotel. I had advised late check-in in advance, no problem. Use of the restaurant for a short time in the evening, no problem. Service staff at their best, very friendly and helpful. The consultation was very pleasant. The room is spacious and everything is there. There are sufficient parking spaces available. Despite two events in the back area, the kitchen was perfectly organized. No waiting times and the portions were very large. The breakfast buffet is also adapted to the Easter weekend. I felt very comfortable and can highly recommend this hotel.

It was my first time at the Brenner Hotel Bielefeld and I really enjoyed it there at a family celebration. There are good parking options at the hotel and the hall is beautifully and modernly furnished for small to medium-sized events. The in-house kitchen is excellent! The buffet was very tasty and the food (meat, fish and side dishes) was high quality and healthy. For dessert there was homemade ice cream, which was presented with sparklers to create a visual highlight for all guests. Top! I also liked the communication with the boss and the good interaction between the service team. It was a successful and beautiful celebration. I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

Overall a good hotel. Friendly receptionist. Comfortable beds, air conditioning, free parking. Near Kaufland and 30 minutes to the center. on foot, 8 minutes by car. Always again!

Rooms are fine and clean, breakfast is very good, food in the hotel restaurant is also very good. Staff very friendly. The location at the crossroads made the nights very restless, maybe ok for 1-2 days, but very tiring for 1 week.

Very nice, modern and clean rooms. The service was great and all the employees were very friendly. The food was also delicious. I am very satisfied and can absolutely recommend the hotel. The immediate surroundings aren't particularly nice, but you rarely stay in the immediate vicinity of a hotel.

Overall I was happy with my stay at this charming little hotel. There were initially difficulties checking in using the machine at the hotel entrance because my booking could not be found. However, thanks to the support via the emergency number, I was finally able to move into my room. The interior of the hotel gives the impression that it is aimed at tradesmen. However, the room itself was spacious and had all the amenities you would expect from a good hotel room. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the hotel's own restaurant, which serves delicious dishes. I would even come back just for the food from the Ruhr area! A real insider tip and highly recommended, especially for dinner.

We are very pleased to have an overnight stay in your hotel. The only (small) point of criticism would be that breakfast is rather meager.

This was our fourth time in Bielefeld at the Brenner Hotel. Nice, courteous staff. We had a comfortable room that was large with a window facing the inner courtyard. Bathroom and room were clean. The breakfast buffet offered something for everyone. Particularly worth mentioning is the very friendly staff, whether at reception, housekeeping or in the breakfast room. Thank you very much, gladly again.

Super parking lot. Very friendly staff. Nice room. Tram stop nearby so we quickly got to the center. Small minus: we found 2 used towels in our room and the room was not cleaned during our 2-day stay. The manager very graciously apologized and provided a bottle of wine in compensation. Excellent service.

The hotel is conveniently located for reaching the city center or the Teutoburg Forest. It's easy to reach by car thanks to its location on the main road and there are plenty of parking spaces available. The staff, whether at breakfast, in the restaurant or at check-in, are always in a good mood and friendly. The quality of the food in the restaurant is excellent and the price is not too expensive. Seasonal offerings such as kale can also be found on the menu. Small drawback, the rooms are a bit noisy and the music from the bowling alley penetrates into the room. Overall, highly recommended.

The hotel was booked via a platform. The single room was large and well furnished. The bed was very comfortable. I had booked breakfast. This was very rich. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful from the reception to the restaurant. I would come back and book this hotel the next time I had to stay in Bielefeld again. Great hotel for an overnight stay. Luckily I had to get up on time because at 830 am the cleaning lady was already banging on the door and then chatting with her colleagues in the hallway.

Easily accessible and friendly staff

The staff are polite and courteous, the hotel has enough parking space and the rooms are absolutely satisfactory. It's actually pretty good to sleep in the beds. The shower and exit function perfectly and cleanliness is ensured. The Wi-Fi reception is good, and in principle this is an absolutely suitable hotel for the run-of-the-mill business traveler. The only negative points that stand out are the old-fashioned 1990s interior design and the presence of thick, heavy keys as an opening mechanism for the doors. A shockingly large proportion of our fellow human beings don't seem to have the idea to open and close the doors quietly out of consideration for other guests, even at 11:30 p.m. Other hotels have switched to cards and that would also make sense here given the noisy room doors. Otherwise, I think the solution with the intermediate doors in the hallways, which close very slowly and quietly, is very successful. I don't find the restaurant in the hotel convincing in terms of price/performance, but at least it's nice that there is the option to eat something on site. Otherwise there are some good restaurants in the area. In summary, I would come again, but I would hope that I have normal people as my roommates and not some Neanderthals who have to slam the doors in the middle of the night.

A small but very lovingly run hotel, suitable for groups. Restaurant and breakfast very good.

There are great shopping opportunities in the center, where you can also visit very beautiful buildings and museums. The Botanical garden is highly recommended, but you need to have good legs because the garden is laid out on a slope with steep paths and many stairs.

You shouldn't be guided by the first impression when you see the hotel from the outside. It's getting a little old. But when you come in, this thought quickly disappears. The furnishings are very tasteful and modern. Apart from the hallway, there is air conditioning everywhere, including in the rooms, which was very beneficial given the temperatures. The rooms are large and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was very rich and was filled up. In the evening we ate in the restaurant and the food was also very good. The hotel is located at an intersection and there is normal street noise. I was very satisfied with my stay.

Perfect hotel at a reasonable price. We have nothing to delay. Air conditioning, both stationary and mobile. TV with all the channels you could want. Free parking. Nice bathroom and fridge. Straßenbahn close by. We did not try the restaurant, so we cannot comment on it.

Sometimes the service is so great, that all other things don’t matter. I don’t think the rooms are the best (they are fine) or the locations is fantastic (it was on our route) but i would chose it again, just because of the great service we got. A note. There is only 1 ev charger.

This hotel is good for a basic overnight stay on the way south. Restaurant and breakfast are quite ok. Super value for money, so therefore good recommendation - I would like to come again 👍

First I was supposed to go into a room where there was only a small corner table, no room for a laptop, with a mouse it would fall down the side. With luck, I got a different room with a table. (great service). But then the internet kept crashing. I went towards the hallway with the laptop. It got better there and at least stayed there, but after a while it tore down again. I rearranged the furniture and got through the week with Netflix in the evenings. The room: has a lot to offer: refrigerator, dessert, an air conditioning unit (really great thing), bedside table, a cupboard, an armchair and a chair but the room is simply too small for this amount of furniture + bed. Especially if you are forced to move the furniture because of the internet. The bathroom is modern, clean but narrow. Chubby people could have problems between the sink and the wall. In the shower there is no plate on the wall where you can put shower gels. The breakfast in the hotel costs €13 but also has something to offer: delicious.

The room was ok, but I've stayed in many better hotels. Cleanliness was also relatively ok. Unfortunately there was no warm water coming out of the shower. Judging by the conversations at the neighboring tables, I wasn't alone with the problem. The breakfast was also OK. The staff was friendly. The parking spaces are not that good. And the location is Bielefeld.

Very friendly and helpful staff, rooms with everything you need. Good and plentiful breakfast buffet. The charging station for electric cars was a real plus. Since the reception is usually no longer staffed on Sunday afternoons, the charging card was left in the room. Everything worked perfectly.

We held our wedding celebration at the Brenner Hotel with 40 guests and everything went great! It is very close to Bielefeld city center and the guests got to the location within 10 minutes after the registry office. Parking spaces were plentiful. The food was delicious and our wishes were taken into account when choosing and expanding the premises. The service was very courteous and all guests were happily looked after. I highly recommend it.

Very neat and modern furnished rooms. Good beds, but very disappointing pillows (much too thin). Pleasant staff in the service, but the manager gave too obvious instructions on how staff should act. As guests of the hotel, this is very uncomfortable. When asked whether our children could use the bowling alley, she often emphasized that no more than 12 people were allowed to be present.

It was a really nice hotel, the outside is currently being renovated so at first we thought it was nothing. But when we came in it was beautiful, nice friendly staff. Rooms have everything you need, the pillows are feather pillows too soft for me but that doesn't mean anything. Food was so delicious. The gastronomy in the hotel was very good, which I liked, very nice menu not too thick so you can assume that all the dishes are fresh. You can dine in the restaurant or in the beer garden, which is very nice when the sun is shining. Conclusion: Very nice hotel price/performance 👍 Gladly again. The only negative point In my room the towels were outdated and no longer terrycloth.

Hotel corresponds to the price-performance ratio. Nice rooms with mobile air conditioning and a small, brightly lit external refrigerator. Room staff could be more careful. There is a bar in the restaurant, but it has the same opening hours as the restaurant and closes between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. A pity. The breakfast buffet is not overloaded and there is something for every taste. However, questions about what is not available are not welcome. In my case it was lactose-free milk (vegetable milk substitute is available, but I don't like it in the muesli) and green tea (green tea with yasmin was available). A paradise for coffee drinkers, fully automatic and filter coffee in cans available for breakfast. The restaurant is highly recommended, you prepare your own meat/fish on a hot stone at the table. The drinks menu also includes something for every connoisseur. I recommend the long drinks with local gin

The staff at reception and in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The room service left a lot to be desired. Making beds wasn't her forte.

Were there for 2 nights with children. Booked perfectly over the phone because booking couldn't book the right room. Fresh towels and a small bottle of water every day. Room without balcony but super spacious and clean. Beautiful blankets and pillows sooo soft. Parking right in front of the door. Bar and kitchen impeccable downstairs in the hotel. They were super nice and responded to our every wish. Small beer garden. So small but the hotel leaves nothing to be desired! From 6.30 a.m. breakfast buffet!!!! This definitely needs to be mentioned. We were super satisfied and can only recommend the hotel!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I recommend this hotel we had a good stay

I stayed at the Hotel Brenner for 5 days as part of a tour group. From the friendly welcome, to the modernly equipped rooms, to the always friendly service staff, to the flexibility with regard to special wishes and requirements that a larger group brings with it, I would also like to thank our guests. The food was attractive, of good quality and selection, served as a buffet and at the table. The breakfast buffet also offered a large selection. Thanks to the entire team.

Arrived Parking was easy, huge carpark to the rear of the hotel, free as well! Room was exceptionally clean and lovely beds were great and I had an amazing night's sleep, I also ate in the restraint and had the filet steak it was wonderful. Will stay again.

The house looks a bit dusty from the outside, but work is currently underway on that. The rooms are clean and available at acceptable prices. The service leaves nothing to be desired! The breakfast is rich, there is something for everyone. I had to wait a bit for dinner in the cozy restaurant, which was due to the number of orders placed at the same time. But it was worth the wait - very tasty! And to end the day with a cozy nightcap at the bar. Gladly again 👌

Stayed with family, overall basic hotel so reasonable value for money and on good transport link to city centre via tram network. Stay would have been better if given advance notice of building works were taking place during the stay, with drilling starting at 8am each morning. Also disappointed that the larger limited seating area in the bar was reserved but not used meaning unable to sit in bar On a positive note the al a carte menu was good and portion size very good

My hotel rating: An all-round successful stay. My stay at the Brenner Hotel was absolutely fantastic and I am completely satisfied! My room was spotlessly clean, new and modernly decorated - exactly what I was hoping for. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, which made my stay particularly pleasant. The hotel's kitchen deserves special recognition as it treated me to delicious meals. The beer in particular was simply delicious and complemented my meals perfectly. I absolutely loved my stay, but there is one small criticism I would like to mention. There was a sentence on the menu in English that made me smile: "they roast themselves...". This sentence is not entirely grammatically correct and could cause confusion or even a laugh. It would be nice if this little bug could be fixed. Overall, however, I was totally satisfied and would highly recommend the Brenner Hotel to everyone!

Small but nice. I stayed at the hotel for two weeks on business and was consistently happy there. The hotel room was fine, the volume on a main road is also audible to a certain extent (usual for a hotel in a big city). The reason why I make the effort to write a novel in addition to a positive review is because of the lovely staff, who in my opinion are very competent, communicative, friendly and helpful. You feel welcome here and the warm atmosphere infects you. If you are looking for a hotel room where you spend most of your time away from home, to explore Bielefeld or if you need accommodation for business purposes, then you have come to the right place. P.S. If you stay there overnight and something doesn't suit you, just speak to the staff so that the dissatisfaction/unrest can be resolved immediately and you feel comfortable for the rest of your stay!
