Big negative point: we were asked to leave after about 2 hours, even though we had reserved the table. In addition, the waiter independently asked for a tip - where are the manners? The food looked very appealing, but tasted rather bland. Painting sets came for the children, which I thought was really nice. :)

Actually everything was good. Tasty food and very reasonable price. Will definitely come back here again.

It was very crowded on a Saturday morning. Reservations make sense here! When you make a reservation, you will even receive an SMS with a link to change the reservation yourself. You can order breakfast individually. There is no such thing as all you can eat! There are also vegetarian and vegan breakfast options here. You can also order individual breakfast items such as croissants or scrambled eggs individually. However, the orange juice was identified as freshly squeezed bottled juice and was not freshly squeezed on site. Overall, moderate prices and delicious breakfast! We recommend!

It is an ok restaurant to have a brunch during the weekend. They always seen to have availability. Food is ok, but quality is not as it used to be. It is a little overpriced in my opinion. No gluten free options for people with gluten sensitivities; and almost all brunch options include some sort of ingredient with wheat, so my options where pretty limited.

Service doesn't work at all, I wait 15 minutes for a beer, I sit 2 meters away from the tap. Store wasn't full but had 6 people on staff. The service works in every country, except in Germany, and there is a STUPID answer to every question. Disaster at these prices.

The best beer I ever had with an absolutely lovely atmosphere .

Nice ambience with an exclusive claim, located in the middle of the city, unfortunately not particularly customer friendly. When our ordered cappuccino arrived after about 10 minutes, it was lukewarm. We kindly asked if it would be possible to get a warm cappuccino. After 2 minutes, our old cups, from which we had already taken a sip, were slapped onto the table just as cold, unappetizing to look at and without any milk foam with a fleeting comment "it was warmed up again". Since it was also not possible to trace who had already drunk from which cup and also licked the coffee spoon, it was also returned. It's a shame, I really can't recommend the shop for a leisurely afternoon coffee visit.

I was here for breakfast. The service is super nice all smiles and very fast. The coffee was also very delicious and the food was good. My only issue was that the croissant was way too soft which is personal preference of course. Would recommend in Düsseldorf

The food was really wonderful, regardless of whether it was fish or meat, I really recommend it. The service is good, but there is definitely still room for improvement. And the ambience, this time we sat outside, was also nice, only the noise level of the traffic was a little annoying because it was in the middle of the city, so only 4 stars for the ambience. We'd love to come back!

Insgesamt war unserer Besuch bei Wilma Wunder ein voller Erfolg. Ich würde das Restaurant jedem empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einem geschmackvollen Essen in einer entspannten Umgebung ist. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

I had a schnitzel and a desert and I enjoyed my meal a lot. The desert was not amazing but it was good and the schnitzel was great. The staff was very good and friendly, they assigned someone that spoke English and that made things easy.

The service staff are really nice and very flexible - all of our children's special requests (who are difficult guests :-)) are always fulfilled. We really enjoy coming to the Wilma Wunder. Addendum: We were there again yesterday for dinner and were unfortunately quite disappointed... In contrast to the last visits, the waiter was listless and annoyed, special requests were generally rejected ("the kitchen doesn't do that"). The food wasn't as good as usual. For dessert, instead of vanilla ice cream, there was suddenly oat-based ice cream - and that was no revelation in terms of both consistency and taste. Why are you forced to take the vegan version? It would be nice to have the choice. After ordering dessert, the waiter quickly disappeared; we would have liked to have ordered coffee with it. Then we drank the coffee somewhere else...

Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr familienfreundlich. Man ist direkt auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen (Brunch noch um 11:45 Uhr bestellbar) und sogar das übliche Personal wusste davon, Dass wir noch schnell vor 12:00 Uhr bestellen wollten, um das Lunch Angebot wahrzunehmen. Das Essen war lecker und der Eiscafe, ein großer Eisbecher mit einem kleinen Glas Kaffee, ideal. Die in Düsseldorf üblichen gehobenen Preise, waren aber im Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in Ordnung

Wow!!! We had a great meal and enjoyed a great atmosphere, but the service was simply unbeatable. We have rarely met so many positive and nice employees as here. Everyone was very accommodating and always tried to ensure our satisfaction. The food was also very good and varied, special requests were no problem. 🤩Unfortunately our poached eggs weren't as runny as we'd hoped, but that was just a small detail for the other delicious dishes. Great value is placed on sustainability and original products. 🫶🏻 We will be back!

Perhaps insufficient staff to serve the number of visitors, but it is worth the wait because the food is very good, very healthy and in an adequate portion for the price. It is not junk food, but dishes designed for the client's good digestion. Don't expect plenty of fat or low-quality ingredients. The place is worth what it offers, which is not much variety, but you will surely find something for your taste. As for drinks, it has everything.

Tips are added directly to card payments. It doesn't work at all! Either the service staff should be paid more or care should be taken to ensure that customers are not ripped off. You give a tip if the service was good. (we are not in the USA where tips are required for the staff)

A very nice restaurant, we felt very comfortable and had a super nice and friendly service person in Anette. A somewhat unusual menu, but where everyone can find something for themselves. Apart from that, our food was very tasty and delicious. A visit to Wilma Wunder is definitely worth it.

Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert und warteten auf weitere Gäste. In der Zeit kam niemand um schon mal Getränke aufzunehmen. Wir haben dann fast eine halbe Stunde auf Service gewartet, bis jemand kam, um Getränke und Bestellung aufzunehmen. Der Laden war überschaubar besetzt. Offensichtlich zu wenig Personal. Die Musik sehr merkwürdig und zu laut.

Unkompliziertes, modernes Restaurant mit sehr aufmerksamem Service, leckerem Essen und auch einer guten Auswahl an schmackhaften vegetarischen und veganen Speisen sowie einem leckerem Bier vom Fass. Einfach mal hingehen und sich verwöhnen lassen :-)

Waitress brings the wrong order and tries to persuade you to take it anyway instead of owning up to her mistake and correcting it.

I am Italian and I have never found such good coffee and cappuccino abroad. Chapeau! The cakes, simply fantastic. The welcome was good and non-invasive. Very clean bathrooms. And I repeat, perfect coffee and cappuccino!

We come here regularly with our group of girls and have always been very satisfied. The menu offers something for every taste and the drinks and spritz cocktails are also very tasty and exceptional. We'd love to come back ☺️

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war top, die Bedienung freundlich, die Atmosphäre angenehm. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Mein Salat war teilweise welk und etwas Zuwenig , für den Preis echt was besseres erwartet. Pommes waren aber lecker der Spargel auch. Der Service war aber auch sehr gut und nett ! Und ich werde euch nochmal eine Chance geben !

Portionen für die Preise zu klein und nachdem wir das Personal auf eine Fehler, der das Frühstück deutlich verschlechterte hat, hingewiesen haben, wurde sich nicht einmal für den Fehler entschuldigt, sondern nur schnippisch und mit Ausreden reagiert. Insgesamt leider kein positiver Aufenthalt.

Ich hatte an meinem Besuchstag Geburtstag und dies auch vorher angegeben. Mir wurde sehr nett gratuliert und sogar der Tisch war geschmückt.

Very nice atmosphere, good food

One of a few cafes that opens early and has big enough space to accommodate large groups. The interior is decorated with natural wood and greenery providing a lovely inviting atmosphere while you enjoy your breakfast. I ordered the hot chocolate and the big and hearty breakfast. The hot chocolate was a total let down. It was basically hot milk with a bag of chocolate chips which you have to mix it to create your hot chocolate. I reckoned any instant bag of hot chocolate from any super market tastes the same if not better. The big and hearty breakfast was your standard affair of bread, ham, cheese, bacon, salad and eggs. (I added an egg) nothing to rave about. Again with a little effort, this is something you can easily put together from decent supermarket ingredients. Finally, the service staff were impeccable, they were all attentive and provided excellent service. Coupled with the warm and inviting interior, you could sit and relax in this cafe for a long time.

What a great place to sit! As a Dutchman, I have never seen so many people in the service! Immediately helped even though it was super busy and super cheap! Paid a buck for a beer 🥳 beautiful view of a park with a church and a terrace in the sun or in the shade with parasols. That has been thought about. RECOMMENDED to go there once!! 5 STARS!

We were ignored as guests! After a stroll through the city with our family visiting from Hanover, we wanted to have lunch on the terrace in pleasant temperatures. Full of anticipation for a cozy get-together, the four of us sat down at a free table. The restaurant was moderately busy and the service staff chatted at the entrance area. Unfortunately, we were unable to make eye contact with any of the service staff. Tables around us were cleared, wiped etc. We were ignored and looked over us. After waiting for some time and no one responded, we left the terrace and went to the restaurant opposite. There we received prompt, friendly and competent service. We will no longer visit “Wilma Wunder”.

Ich war oft bei Ihnen seit der Eröffnung und es hat mir alles gut gefallen. Aber bei meinem letzten Besuch ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Portion (z.B. beim Pancake) fast halbiert wurde. Somit wird man nicht satt und es ist nicht das Geld wert!
