Beautiful food place I'd recommend as a hidden gem with authentic Viet food selection in a nice atmosphere.

Very nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. A little away from the hustle and bustle of Schönhauser Allee. The staff was very friendly. The food came quickly and was really delicious. I had the duck with chicken and beef. Excellent.

Twice at lunch at Bep of Meo, twice the same ritual: We walk in, are greeted with a smile. Before we can even say "hungry," water is already on the table. The service? Extremely friendly, attentive, and fast. For me, that's the kind of hospitality that makes lunch a break instead of a chore. Here, the food is freshly cooked, not just assembled. The presentation is so loving that I briefly consider whether to take a photo first or try it straight away. Spoiler alert: I try it. And it's always very good. What I particularly like: The timing is perfect. No waiting, no stress, just walk in, enjoy, and leave satisfied. In a neighborhood where people quickly grab "anything" at lunchtime, Bep of Meo is the "very conscious" option. A definite lunchtime recommendation; we'll be back today. Michael Geerdts.

Willis used to be an amazing restaurant with an unusual menu of authentic home cooked dishes- see below a photo of the amazing prawns dishes they offered two years ago! I used to be a true fan and brought friends and colleagues from all over Berlin, and international visitors. Everyone’s favorite! How sad to go back now and find that under new management all these wonderful dishes have been taken off the menu. Instead, offers now include mostly the usual range of sauces to which you add random proteins. I wish they would go back to their previous standard.

The food is world-class. I often eat Vietnamese food, but in this restaurant, you can tell the chef puts a lot of effort into it. All the dishes are served with first-class service. The menu features many amazing dishes that you won't find everywhere. The taste is unique; each dish has a wow factor. My group and I were blown away. The dining room is also very spacious, and in the summer, there's a lovely outdoor terrace.

The Vietnamese restaurant was once again delicious. The fresh herbs and spices gave the dishes an incredible variety of flavors. Furthermore, the service was, as always, very attentive and friendly. The authentic atmosphere made you feel like you were in Vietnam. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Unfortunately, that's no longer Willis. After having to get the menu myself, I went inside after a while to order. The only server was making drinks at the bar. Since he seemed a bit stressed, I asked if it would take a while. His somewhat too loud reply: "I'm making drinks right now and will be back as soon as I have time." That was a bit too vague for my lunch break, after I'd already been sitting outside for 10 minutes without seeing him. I'm always sympathetic to staffing shortages or special situations. But as with everything: it's the tone that makes the difference. What a shame...

Great Vietnamese cuisine, high quality, good prices. Good vegan options, nice cocktails, and non-alcoholic mixed drinks. Highly recommended.

We ordered several different dishes. The portions are large, and the presentation of the plates is amazing. The food comes out very fast and staff are professional and very polite. However, the food was too oily and at times, very salty. Some of the food didn't feel freshly prepared. Adding to it, the food was served so quickly that kind of hints at this speculation.

Unfortunately, really bold! I'm not one to write bad reviews. I ordered two soups from Wolt, which were unfortunately completely over salted and inedible. After Wolt's query and my own call, the restaurant was unable to send me a new soup or issue a refund. Really sad, I used to enjoy being a customer. Now never again 25 euros for nothing! Really sad!

I don't understand the hype about this restaurant. The food was average and the cheap wine was too expensive.

We wish the entire “Willis” team a healthy and happy New Year. Stay the way you are, because we always go home very satisfied with you. We go out to eat often and unfortunately the same cannot be said for some restaurants. The service and the food are great here! We would love to come back, even though we live a little further away. We keep coming back. The food is good and the owners are really welcoming. Our daughter was always welcome and when she was little we even asked what she liked to eat and prepared something special.

Willis is a pleasant surprise! The food is good, with generous portions at extremely reasonable prices. Perfect for a satisfying meal that won’t hurt your wallet. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for value and quality!

My favorite Vietnamese place in the area.

Virkelig lækkert autentisk mad. Vi havde to teenagere med, med (ganske) særlige ønsker til maden og da vi først forstod hinanden (de snakker lidt engelsk), var det intet problem for køkkenet at justere. Eneste minus var, at man ikke kunne betale med kort, så vi måtte over vejen og hæve penge 😅

Have been to Willis a few times so far and have been satisfied every time. The food is always fresh and tasty, although the portions could be slightly larger here and there. The last thing that was sensational was the tea in a really large glass. Great to look at and taste great.

The taste is slightly less localized than the famous rice noodles in Korea or Mitte, but it is delicious. The portions are not small and the food comes out quickly. The interior is spacious and clean compared to the exterior, so you can eat comfortably, but credit cards are not accepted.

The food was delicious, 100 points from us. What deducts a point is that only cash payment is possible, as is often the case in Vietnamese restaurants. There are definitely tax reasons for this. Hopefully this restaurateur also pays his taxes properly. This once again made us think a lot.

We ordered through Wolt. So I can't give a rating for the ambience. We had: -4 spring rolls (Bun Nem) 5/5⭐️ - Noodles with chicken (Udon Xao) 3/5⭐️ because pork was delivered instead of chicken -Curry Massaman (with duck) 3/5⭐️, because on the one hand the meat was very fatty and on the other hand 90% of the curry coconut sauce was in the delivery bag. Of course the delivery was made via Wolt, but on the other hand you should pack the food in such a way that it survives transport as intact as possible. After all, the boys and girls from Wolt are just doing their job and trying to deliver the food quickly. The restaurant should make every effort to ensure that liquid dishes reach the customer undamaged. But we would like to eat there again to get a second impression, as all the other reviews are consistently more than positive.

The food was quite tasteless and the chicken in it had an unpleasant aftertaste. The same was said of the beef in another dish.

Das Essen ist sehr gut und frisch gekocht. Die hausgemachten Limonaden sind sehr zu Empfehlen. Wenn man draußen sitzt ist die Straße recht laut zu hören.

Unfortunately I didn't find it that tasty. It was ready within seconds and tasted just like that.

Después de un largo día de turismo por Berlín no tuvimos la energía para viajar lejos para algo de comer, así que pensamos en probar aquí, ya que estaba al lado de nuestro Airbnb. Estamos muy contentos. Ninguno de nosotros había probado comida vietnamita antes (pero nos mantendremos atentos a ella de nuevo) y estaba delicioso. Lo más destacado fue el plato de pato aunque todo lo que teníamos era increíble, de hecho, fue tan bueno que fuimos a la noche siguiente también. Sólo una nota, no aceptan tarjetas, pero hay un cajero automático al otro lado de la carretera.

My friend and I got severe food poisoning from eating here. The staff is great and maybe it was just a bad day for them but while the food tasted ok I spent the nights throwing up.

The only not so good note: If you want to sit in the small outdoor area in summer, you have to put up with the relatively loud ambient noise from the street, so the indoor area was the better choice despite the summer temperatures.

Willis Restaurant may have an unusual name for a Vietnamese restaurant, but don't let that fool you. The quality of the food and the service are excellent. The staff are extremely friendly and the service is consistently good. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, perhaps even a little too much, but everyone will find something to their liking. I've been there several times and have never been disappointed. This restaurant is definitely worth recommending and I will definitely continue to come.

I had an amazing experience, the staff was very friendly and cooperative. The restaurant is perfectly wheelchair accessible. The food was authentic, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We were staying right next door at our AirB&B and stopped in for dinner our first night in Berlin. We all thought the food was really delicious--4 clean plates when we were done. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. English isn't a problem. They have a nice selection of vegetarian dishes on their menu and many of their meat dishes have an option to substitute tofu.

We were staying right next door at an AirB&B apartment and were intrigued by the restaurant's high rating, so we thought we'd give it a try. It did not disappoint. The food was really delicious and reasonably priced. Service was very friendly, dare I even say delightful, although the wait staff was perhaps spread a bit too thin. English was not a problem. Highly recommended.

I visited the place after checking the google reviews. Staff is humble and welcoming. Price point is correct and the ambience is also lovely. We ordered dim-sum plus Thai curry and it was delicious. Bier would cost around 4€, one meal for single will be around 12-14€ Surely recommended place, I will keep visiting. Ps: Only Cash, Reservation during the weekend would help.

If I could give six stars, I would definitely give Willies more than five. Found it by chance and I was really surprised at how friendly, open and delicious everything is here. The service is 100% and I really appreciate it when the waitress knows what is in the recipes of the dishes. Only one dish contains a tiny amount of glutamate, everything else is without. Soup with coconut, very tasty, Masamann curry, really good and the fresh ginger tea with orange and mint was just right! Here I come again, only cash payment possible and probably also ordering from Wolt. Thank you very much 🙏

Really nice, friendly Vietnamese place. Service is really good which dosnt happen all the time in Berlin and it's very calm inside. The food comes fast and is well presented. A good spot if you want to grab a calm bit to eat alone.

Unfortunately I don't know the name, but the friendly young man who always serves is a reason to keep coming back. He always spreads a good mood and you just feel very welcome. The food is delicious and there is a lot to choose from.

Disgusting food. The PHO soup was missing half of the ingredients (no lime, no chili, almost no green vegetables). The meat had a GREY color and was almost dissolved and had a taste of goat, probably old meat. The broth was completely bland. There was not taste of cinnamon, anis or ginger. Just look at the picture, it tells it all!
