Willis in Berlin

Virkelig lækkert autentisk mad. Vi havde to teenagere med, med (ganske) særlige ønsker til maden og da vi først forstod hinanden (de snakker lidt engelsk), var det intet problem for køkkenet at justere. Eneste minus var, at man ikke kunne betale med kort, så vi måtte over vejen og hæve penge 😅

Have been to Willis a few times so far and have been satisfied every time. The food is always fresh and tasty, although the portions could be slightly larger here and there. The last thing that was sensational was the tea in a really large glass. Great to look at and taste great.

The taste is slightly less localized than the famous rice noodles in Korea or Mitte, but it is delicious. The portions are not small and the food comes out quickly. The interior is spacious and clean compared to the exterior, so you can eat comfortably, but credit cards are not accepted.

Food is always very tasty. The service is really super nice. We always enjoy coming back. CASH ONLY

Great food and very friendly staff, they were very helpful in putting together a meal for my 86 year old mother, great. Toilets a bit old-fashioned, but clean. We'd love to come back.

The food was delicious, 100 points from us. What deducts a point is that only cash payment is possible, as is often the case in Vietnamese restaurants. There are definitely tax reasons for this. Hopefully this restaurateur also pays his taxes properly. This once again made us think a lot.

The staff is very nice, the food was inexpensive, freshly prepared but lacked spice.

We ordered through Wolt. So I can't give a rating for the ambience. We had: -4 spring rolls (Bun Nem) 5/5⭐️ - Noodles with chicken (Udon Xao) 3/5⭐️ because pork was delivered instead of chicken -Curry Massaman (with duck) 3/5⭐️, because on the one hand the meat was very fatty and on the other hand 90% of the curry coconut sauce was in the delivery bag. Of course the delivery was made via Wolt, but on the other hand you should pack the food in such a way that it survives transport as intact as possible. After all, the boys and girls from Wolt are just doing their job and trying to deliver the food quickly. The restaurant should make every effort to ensure that liquid dishes reach the customer undamaged. But we would like to eat there again to get a second impression, as all the other reviews are consistently more than positive.

The food was quite tasteless and the chicken in it had an unpleasant aftertaste. The same was said of the beef in another dish.

The food was delicious, we all left the store super happy and loved it! Always my pleasure :)

Das Essen ist sehr gut und frisch gekocht. Die hausgemachten Limonaden sind sehr zu Empfehlen. Wenn man draußen sitzt ist die Straße recht laut zu hören.

Unfortunately I didn't find it that tasty. It was ready within seconds and tasted just like that.

After a long day sightseeing around Berlin we didn't have the energy to travel far for something to eat so we thought we'd try here as it was next door to our Airbnb. We are so glad we did. None of us had had Vietnamese food before (but we will keep an eye out for it again) and it was delicious. The stand out was the duck dish although everything we had was amazing, in fact, it was so good we went the next night too. Just a note, they don't take cards, but there's a cash machine on the opposite side of the road.

My friend and I got severe food poisoning from eating here. The staff is great and maybe it was just a bad day for them but while the food tasted ok I spent the nights throwing up.

Very tasty food at fair prices. Large selection of vegetarian, vegan and meat dishes. The only not so good note: If you want to sit in the small outdoor area in summer, you have to put up with the relatively loud ambient noise from the street, so the indoor area was the better choice despite the summer temperatures.

Willis Restaurant may have an unusual name for a Vietnamese restaurant, but don't let that fool you. The quality of the food and the service are excellent. The staff are extremely friendly and the service is consistently good. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, perhaps even a little too much, but everyone will find something to their liking. I've been there several times and have never been disappointed. This restaurant is definitely worth recommending and I will definitely continue to come.

I had an amazing experience, the staff was very friendly and cooperative. The restaurant is perfectly wheelchair accessible. The food was authentic, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great dining experience around Schönhauser Allee!

We were staying right next door at our AirB&B and stopped in for dinner our first night in Berlin. We all thought the food was really delicious--4 clean plates when we were done. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. English isn't a problem. They have a nice selection of vegetarian dishes on their menu and many of their meat dishes have an option to substitute tofu.

We were staying right next door at an AirB&B apartment and were intrigued by the restaurant's high rating, so we thought we'd give it a try. It did not disappoint. The food was really delicious and reasonably priced. Service was very friendly, dare I even say delightful, although the wait staff was perhaps spread a bit too thin. English was not a problem. Highly recommended.

I visited the place after checking the google reviews. Staff is humble and welcoming. Price point is correct and the ambience is also lovely. We ordered dim-sum plus Thai curry and it was delicious. Bier would cost around 4€, one meal for single will be around 12-14€ Surely recommended place, I will keep visiting. Ps: Only Cash, Reservation during the weekend would help.

If I could give six stars, I would definitely give Willies more than five. Found it by chance and I was really surprised at how friendly, open and delicious everything is here. The service is 100% and I really appreciate it when the waitress knows what is in the recipes of the dishes. Only one dish contains a tiny amount of glutamate, everything else is without. Soup with coconut, very tasty, Masamann curry, really good and the fresh ginger tea with orange and mint was just right! Here I come again, only cash payment possible and probably also ordering from Wolt. Thank you very much 🙏

Really nice, friendly Vietnamese place. Service is really good which dosnt happen all the time in Berlin and it's very calm inside. The food comes fast and is well presented. A good spot if you want to grab a calm bit to eat alone.

Disgusting food. The PHO soup was missing half of the ingredients (no lime, no chili, almost no green vegetables). The meat had a GREY color and was almost dissolved and had a taste of goat, probably old meat. The broth was completely bland. There was not taste of cinnamon, anis or ginger. Just look at the picture, it tells it all!

Zwei mal Pho bestellt als ich in Berlin war, beste Pho die ich jemals gegessen habe. Sehr sehr natürliche und leckere Brühe, Fleisch, Nudeln perfekt !

Das Essen war wirklich lecker, sowohl die Vorspeisen als auch die Hauptspeisen. Die Besitzer des Restaurants waren sehr höflich und zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Einzig die hausgemachten Limonaden waren etwas wässrig, da hatte ich mehr erwartet. Und ein wenig nervig, dass man nur bar zahlen kann, das ist leider oft so in Berlin. Daher Essen 5 Sterne, wegen Getränke und Bar-Zahlung allerdings nur 4 insgesamt.

Willis is our Asian food benchmark, very few places are on paar, not sure if we had better quality food ever.

Wir waren das erste Mal dort, haben nichts Besonderes erwartet und wurden positiv überrascht. Das Essen war durchweg frisch, der Geschmack richtig gut. Die Speisen wurden liebevoll präsentiert und serviert. Als Vorspeise hatten wir die Sommerrollen. Zweimal mit Garnelen und einmal mit Tofu. Richtig Klasse war die dazu gereichte Sauce. Hätte gerne mehr sein dürfen. Willis Vit Chao Nong (knusprige Ente auf einer heissen Platte) konnte geschmacklich ebenso überzeugen wie der Bun Bo Nam Bo (Reisnudelsalat mit Huhn). Auch ein Gericht mit Tofu und eins mit veganer Ente (Saitan) (Chat Sot Lac) waren geschmacklich richtig Klasse. Als Nachtisch gab es Banh Ran (frittierte Sesamkugeln mit süßer Mungobohnenfüllung und Mochi Eis). Traumhaft! Lecker war auch Willis Grün-Orange Eistee und der alkoholfreie Moquito. Die Bedienung war ebenfalls super nett. Ein wirklich schönes Abendessen. Klare Weiterempfehlung.

Die Bewertungen lügen nicht! Es gibt eine große und abwechslungsreiche Auswahl an Essen sowie Getränken. Es war schwer sich für nur ein Essen und ein Getränk zu entscheiden. Es hat wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt und was auch ein Highlight war: wir wurden sehr zuvorkommend und wirklich sehr höflich bedient. Diese Kombination erlebt man selten, bei der eigentlich alles passt. Eindeutige Weiterempfehlung!

Die Kellner sind immer unfassbar freundlich und das Essen super lecker insbesondere die vegane Ente mit Curry!! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist außerdem unschlagbar!
