We were there on Sunday at 4:30 pm. Very friendly service, delicious and fast food, great prices... We'll be back next Sunday...

Yes! ...but... Visually beautiful and clean restaurant with extremely friendly service. I was there on a Saturday. Therefore, I was hoping for sushi that wasn't so dry, as if—at least the rice—was from Thursday evening. So, I was incredibly disappointed despite the beautiful presentation on the plate and the very fair price. The freshly cooked food, however, was really great, and the mango curry even came with fresh mango strips, which is rare. Unfortunately, I didn't even take half of the sushi with me—the part I couldn't finish—because it was already completely dry. So, steer clear of the sushi on Saturday evening at 5 p.m. and order something warm instead; that was good.

A great hidden gem on a side street off Schönhauser Straße! Lovely atmosphere, friendly and fast service, and above all, very good, fresh food and drinks at a good price. The food selection and soft drinks/teas include both standard options and special creations. However, it's cash only – which always leaves a slightly bitter taste.

Fast and friendly service, understated yet stylish decor, and generally smooth operations. And of course, good food!

Dear Vietnamaroma team, you make really good food, the staff is very friendly, everything is excellent. We are a group of friends who eat with you often. Everyone likes you, but one thing stands out: why do you use celery in your food? It always tastes like a German chicken soup, which is so untypical, and I honestly think very few people like it. Or has anyone ever praised the celery?

Despite the large selection, the food is consistently excellent: whether appetizers, soups, rice or noodle dishes – the entire menu is impressive. (Admittedly, I haven't tried everything yet, but I've tried quite a few.) As for drinks, the selection of homemade lemonade and lassi variations is unique. They also offer two unusual and highly recommended alcoholic cocktails. The service is always friendly and attentive. Excellent value for money!

Now also serving lunch. Good food, cozy decor, and friendly staff. Outdoor seating is also popular in the summer.

I came to Vietnam Aroma because I wanted to eat in. Unfortunately, the first waitress asked me five times if I wanted to take the food away. Each time, I clearly stated that I wanted to eat in. After the fifth time, I finally gave up in frustration and said I'd just take it away – even though it was soup, which isn't really a pleasant option for takeout. Right after that, a second waitress came to take my money. My meal cost €13.80, and I handed over a €50 bill. She asked me how much she should take – I replied, "The cost of the meal." Then she asked, irritatingly, "€15?" I said, "No, €13.80." Her response to that was "Why?" – a disrespectful and rude question, as if I had to explain why I didn't want to tip. Nevertheless, I calmly explained that I had said several times that I wanted to eat in, but wasn't taken seriously – hence no tip. Then things got even more brazen: She only gave me back €35 and was about to close my wallet. I had to point out to her that I wanted the correct amount back. And that wasn't enough: After she had probably spoken to the first waitress, she came back to me and suddenly said I could eat inside. I had to explain three more times that I didn't want to argue – I was just so annoyed. I can't comment on the food itself, as I haven't tried it yet. But the service was by far some of the worst I've ever experienced: pushy, disrespectful, and disorganized. I felt completely unwelcome as a guest. Very disappointing!

Went there spontaneously for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. Can't comment on the atmosphere as we sat outside but even that setup was nice and not cramped and blocking the path like some places have setup. Staff were very polite and attentive and both food and drinks were tasty and good value for money. Will definitely visit again. They only accept cash which is a bit annoying, but there is a few banks near by if you need to withdraw some.

Reserved a table for eight people at short notice - no problem. We were served quickly and politely. The food is very tasty, aromatic and the portions are large. Both the bowls and the sushi are recommended. The homemade lemonades are refreshing and fruity. We cannot recommend the cocktail with rum. You don't taste the alcohol and only the coconut milk. NEGATIVE: as so often in Berlin, CASH PAYMENT ONLY IS POSSIBLE! A NO GO for a European capital!

The staff is extraordinary nice and polite. The food is really good, there is literally no mediocre sauce, they all taste great. Especially notable is that they prepare everything fresh. The house made drinks are amazing. I just order there.

The food was very tasty and came quickly. The only problem was the waitress with the leopard jacket who was extremely rude. No hello, please, thank you, not even a smile – we were greeted with an unfriendly “Yes?” and immediately felt unwelcome. We weren't served anymore either and had to run over and ask at the counter to order and pay again. The male waitress was very nice.

10/10! One of our favorite regular restaurants. The menu offers an incredible amount of choice, so you'll never get bored. Everything I've tried so far has been so delicious. The staff is very friendly and the price-performance ratio is something you won't find anywhere else in Berlin. When you're there you should definitely try the appetizer platter☺️

This used to be one of my favourite vietnamese eateries in Pberg for years but as of late the quality of ingredients has dropped. Chicken with gristle, watered sauce and small rice portions. I am very dissapointed.

Essen war gut und auch die Portionsgröße passend. Man sitz hier angenehm und der Abstand zwischen den Tischen ist ok. Wir wurden am Anfang schnell bedient, nachdem wir unser Essen hatten, hat sich die Bedienung leider nicht mehr oft blicken lassen.

Very tasty and great for family dinners

I've been ordering there regularly since the beginning of 2023 and so far I can't complain about any "taste" slip-ups. Sometimes several dishes including drinks, but sometimes just a quick little Asian bite in between...if you don't have the time or inclination to cook while you're working. Sufficient portions so far and what matters to me - well seasoned. Not with what feels like 50+ spices a la Pseudo Asia all around. No, if it's Vietnamese cuisine, then it's identical and to the point. And therefore easy to digest 👌😋😚. In addition to really "spicy Thai cuisine" 😌😅 I often treat myself to something from this restaurant on Wichertstr. And God forbid it's "hopefully" not one of those oh-so-hip and woke shops like 2 blocks further from Stagarder via Helmholtzplatz..Kollwitzplatz and those extremely annoying chestnuts..uh sorry Touri German Castingallee. Where everything is so terribly vain...self-absorbed...150% correctly sailing along on the colorful rainbow and crying like an elf after the sunset in the Prater. One can only hope that the store stays true to its current ego and doesn't go along with every pseudo-hype. But somehow I didn’t really like the peanut butter chicken that much, I think the tights were a little too fried for me from the outside or maybe it’s just me not used to having tights in chicken peanut sauce. The food tasted very good, but there is always a bad aftertaste for me when a restaurant doesn't accept card payment and you don't get a bill but are just shown a cell phone display. I always have a bad gut feeling about taxes.

Great food! I especially enjoyed the spring rolls and a soup with salmon. Advice: you could increase your gluten-free offer by using gluten free-free soya-sauce (I.e. available in Asia Market across the street).

A small but fine restaurant serving Vietnamese cuisine. It is only cooked fresh and without flavor enhancers. The sushi is always fresh and prepared with love. The staff is extremely friendly and quick. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant.

Our favourite local Vietnamese restaurant. Love the place. Nothing too fancy, good prices and nice staff and good vegetarian options. Food is consistently delicious, maybe a bit on the saltier side. Only downside is the weird cash-only situation. Please fix this. Edit: reduced rating because of bad experience with a fish dish, also cash only is not acceptable at all

Wir waren heute (4.1.2024) hier spontan Mittagessen. Wir haben uns für Sushi entschieden. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und es ging wirklich sehr schnell (max. 10 Minuten Wartezeit). Das Restaurant ist relativ klein, was es aber wiederum sehr gemütlich macht. Wir können einen Besuch dort uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen gern wieder.

Die Speisen haben wirklich gut geschmeckt und auf Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Das Restaurant ist recht klein, daher wurde es leider schnell recht laut, sobald es voller war. Den Service hätte ich mir etwas aufmerksamer und freundlicher gewünscht. Ambiente war ansprechend und bequeme Sitzmöglichkeiten. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war gut.

Sehr freundliches und schnelles Personal. Das Restaurant ist hübsch eingerichtet und sauber. Wir hatten Sushi zum nebenhersnacken und die Nr. 65 mit Tofu & die Nr. 67 mit Huhn. Alles war sehr lecker, frisch und würzig. Die Nr. 67 war angenehm scharf. Auch die hausgemachte Limonade kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Come often here for take away or a quick and yummy dinner. Glass noodle salad is my favorite.

Ein rundum gelungener Besuch im 'Vietnam Aroma'! Der Service war sowohl nett als auch schnell, trotz des vollen Lokals. Die Gerichte werden mit frischem Gemüse zubereitet und sind ausreichend und köstlich. Besonders positiv ist die offene und tolerante Kultur im Kiez, die es ermöglicht, mit den Tischnachbarn ins Gespräch zu kommen und die positive Lebensausstrahlung der Menschen zu spüren.

Per Zufall an dieses Restaurant gelaufen und es war ein echter Glücksgriff! Das Essen war mega lecker, und vom Preis her alles im Rahmen! Die Fischsuppe war genial Gewürz, und es war auch tatsächlich einiges an Fisch in der Bowl. Die Sommerrollen waren ebenfalls sehr köstlich! Ich war während meines Berlin Aufenthaltes zweimal in diesem Restaurant, und alles hat super geschmeckt! Freundlicher Service, auch spät in der Nacht

Essen ist hier wirklich lecker sowie auch der hausgemachte Eistee sehr zu empfehlen ist. Eine Vielfalt vietnamesischen Essens wie auch Sushi erwarten ein hier. Es wird in der Regel fix serviert von freundlich Servicekräften. Eine klare Empfehlung wenn man übrigens auch noch nach 22 Uhr was essen möchte. Kann es nur empfehlen.

Tasty food from quality ingredients for a reasonable price.

Essen geht so. Man kann das Essen auf dem Teller auch anders/schöner präsentieren. Kühle Bedienung, leider etwas unaufmerksam. Keine Nachfrage, ob es geschmeckt hat. Kein gezapftes Bier, das Bier kommt per Flasche auf den Tisch, bei Nachfrage nach einem Glas, ein Limonaden Glas bekommen. Nur Bargeld, keine Kartenzahlung möglich. Ich glaube, ein Besuch reicht mir.
