Have been here at Wenzel's several times and have never had anything to complain about. I ordered my favorite beer goulash today and was disappointed. The quantity of goulash and sauce wasn't even half that of 2 months ago. Maybe 50g. Meat and hardly any sauce. The taste was very good but far too little for 20 euros. Was a little disappointed.

We had dinner with 6 people on January 26th. We had a reservation for 4 and happened to be 2 more people. We were immediately greeted with the words that the larger table was reserved 2 hours later and we couldn't stay any longer. Strange with 4 men we could have stayed. Unfortunately, on the information board at the entrance it said "no chilled beer today" - ok, it can happen that a cooling system breaks down and a mechanic can't be called in quickly on a Sunday. We each ordered a beer and cooled it down with an ice cube - not the best choice but ok, after we each had a beer we were told that there was no more beer and that it wasn't running due to the temperature. Also understandable, but there wasn't even a bottled beer except non-alcoholic, of course. And that at a BEER bar. The food was ok, but only ok. Probably everything pre-made in portion sachets and warmed up. Dumplings lukewarm and the whole plate not really lovingly prepared. No matter whether it was beer/beef/or deer goulash – it all looked the same. We didn't really feel that we had any understanding, especially when it came to the technical glitch with the beer. There was only a half-hearted “that’s just how it is” and of course we paid in full for the three rounds of slivovice. I think the waitress was happy that we left (not as a person) but as a guest. Our family origins come from Bratislava and we wanted to commemorate grandma and grandpa. Unfortunately it didn't quite work out that way. Next time we'll make our own family goulash and sit in the garden.

Found by chance. Amazingly delicious food, highly recommended. Very nice staff. Rooms to feel good. Prices were in the green. We were there two days in a row and rolled to the hotel. We were so full that we went straight to bed in the hotel.

We were at Wenzel for dinner with three people on January 29th, 2025 at around 5:00 p.m. The restaurant was not very busy and we were able to choose a table. We ordered a children's portion for the grandson and two "deer goulash". The children's portion for €6.50 looked good and tasted very good too. The problem was the goulash. The portions were very clearly arranged on large plates. As counted, there were nine pieces of meat per serving on the plates. Four of these pieces of meat were very stringy on one plate and three on the second plate. So they had nothing at all in common with the term “fine goulash”. But there was a lot of sauce on the plate. However, both meat and sauce lacked the typical gamey taste. But that could also have been because both portions were only served lukewarm. It just didn't taste good. The dumplings were good, but only lukewarm. The whole thing for €24.90 per serving. A complaint to the waiter was ignored at all and shrugged off. What I don't understand is that the restaurant offers such poor quality when there is so little activity. I think you can have a good beer there, but next time I'll be very cautious about the food.

Citizen wasn't really hot but still good but not for €21. The staff is friendly but not really specialists. Not beautifully presented! Price-performance is not justified

Today we had dinner with you again for a long time - super friendly staff and great food! On the recommendation of the employee, I took the burger with the dumpling fries - DELICIOUS! I will NEVER be able to eat normal fries again without wishing they were your dumpling fries 😩🫶🏻

The food is good and tasty... Anyone who likes traditional cuisine is in good hands here. The service is nice. The atmosphere is very rustic... The chairs are not suitable for a longer stay.

We were there on Christmas Day, unfortunately it has to be said. We had reserved a table for 8 people at 1:30 p.m. After waiting for half an hour, standing on the stairs/corridor, we got our table. The order (2.15 p.m.) went quickly and the drinks came immediately. After 80!!!! After waiting a few minutes, our food arrived, just after 4:30. The neighboring tables waited a similar amount of time. 10 minutes later a waiter came and told us that he wanted to take the last round of orders because the restaurant closes at 4 p.m. Hello, are you still okay? The food was all very good, but individual portions were a bit too small. The service staff was nice and did their best. However, the fact that the manager of this house fills up the hut on a day like this and then only serves a la carte and no buffet is really bad. As I said: getting the food 2 hours after the actual reservation and then trying to close immediately afterwards is not possible. Unfortunately we will have to avoid this restaurant in the future.

Service was super nice and unfortunately that was it. Unfortunately our food wasn't a hit. I hoped for more from my roast beef. Very clear portion for the price. The service person agreed with my feedback. My husband's burger was average. You can argue about taste. Unfortunately we won't be visiting again. After dinner, an “Italian” nearby saved our evening.

Oh my God ! We were there for the second time now and every dish is simply incredibly delicious! Fresh dishes, quickly prepared, nice service and all at an absolutely fair price. And can we please talk about how DELICIOUS these dumpling fries are? I already had a stomach ache but I couldn't stop eating... We'll definitely be back!!!

Nice, friendly and fast service. I really enjoyed the food. Large selection. Also vegetarian. View of the old stream. Restaurant on the 1st floor. Accessible via stairs, escalator or elevator at the back of the building. The only negative point for me: There are only unhygienic air hand dryers in the toilet.

After we were brought to the table by an employee, it took a good 30 minutes before we could place the order... and a good 30 minutes before the food came... the food itself was super... Nice atmosphere...all in all, we'll be happy to come back at the next opportunity

This is Super Standard Super because you can rely on the quality. So great 1 floor with a view inside or on the terrace. There is an escalator up! Nice service and we had the beer goulash very tasty as usual. And as always, good beer selection, thank you. Price was still ok. It used to be part of the dish. You now have to order it separately. Update beef goulash and roulade, highly recommended. Unfortunately, the prices have continued to rise and unfortunately the service doesn't always keep up. We visited the restaurant for lunch. The selection is good. The goulash was good. We had a very friendly and courteous waitress and so overall the stay was nice. My companions also loved the food.

Even without a reservation, you can always get a table here because the restaurant is very spacious. And in summer there are plenty of additional seats on the large terrace with a view of the river. The food is hearty, the Czech beer and the Becherovka for digestion always taste good after a day at the sea!

Unfortunately we didn't get anything to eat and the waiter was annoyed from the first moment we picked up the drink. Now he has to know what to eat too. I then said I would know when the beer was delivered because I was still reading the menu. Beer was delivered and immediately taken away again when I asked the waiter there was no response. After about 15 minutes the 0.5L glass was empty. I then went to the counter to pay and was again rudely asked by the waiter why that was. Then paid and waited another 5 minutes until there was a receipt. Unfortunately, it's a shame, but customer orientation is somehow different. Food could not be rated: ambience like a train station hall

The food at Wenzels is always without complaint. What I like are the little things with beer, I always find something to munch on. And if you like garlic you will also get your money's worth here. Gladly again and again! 👍🏼

A very busy restaurant with special beer specialties. The food, especially the solyanka, which is rarely found on menus, was excellent. It was also great that the different beers were available to try in 0.1l. First choice again on my next visit to Warnemünde.

You could say that it's a must to eat there when you're in Warnemünde... great service, always polite, and the price is also good.

Unfortunately, one star is still too many. We entered the restaurant and without saying hello we were asked if we had a reservation. We didn't have one, but we were still allowed to look for a place. A waiter came after a short time and we ordered drinks. These arrived relatively quickly and that was it. Waiters deliver and we were ignored. I would like to say that the store was maybe 30% full. After about 40 minutes we had really had enough. I wanted to pay at the counter and then had to wait for the waiter in charge. This was told to me rather bluntly by another waiter. When I replied, "I haven't seen it in ages and I'll pay immediately or leave," I was told very unkindly that the sound makes the music. This is once again an absolute example of how things shouldn't work and from now on this chain won't get a cent from me

We were greeted by the best waiter we have ever had. Very nice and humorous. The food was very tasty! Only the vegetable balls on the children's menu weren't so well received! The dessert was to die for! We would love to come back!

Everything was good. The food was delicious and more than enough to fill you up. There is also a good selection of vegetarian dishes. There is a wide selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. The service was relaxed and friendly. The toilets are clean. The restaurant has barrier-free access and also a barrier-free toilet. I couldn't see how well equipped this was.

The food tastes excellent. The service is quick and friendly. We weren't disappointed. The map offers a lot of choices. The view of the promenade is great. I'm not posting any pictures here, I've already done that at Wenzel in Halle.

Great location, beautifully located on the water (Alten Strom) in Warnemünde and friendly staff. However, my solyanka and the roast beef were only moderately tempered and in terms of taste they could only be placed in the canteen area, even though the price level was different. Lots of tables and quick serving suggest prepared food that lacks freshness and character. I know Prague cuisine differently. Too bad!

Just a typical brewery atmosphere. Lots of tables in a big room. In order to get a place at the festival you have to reserve in advance. Food was good BUT waiting 45 minutes for your food is not an option. There were very few waiters, but they were still polite and friendly.

When we came it was very crowded. We were advised that the meal might take a while, which we had no problem with. I found it very friendly and proactive that we were informed that there would be a longer waiting time. The service was sooooooo friendly. We felt very comfortable. Yes, we waited about 45 minutes from ordering to eating, but we knew that beforehand. Nevertheless, they politely apologized to us for the long waiting time and in the end acted in a very customer-oriented manner. We haven't been treated so politely and friendly in a restaurant for a long time. Thank you very much for that. We will definitely come back and recommend you to others. We felt very comfortable and valued. 🥰

Very tasty Bohemian-style food. We had the small and the large knuckle, very tender meat, with sauerkraut and Bohemian. dumplings. Highly recommended. Great service and chic ambience in a rustic style.

At the entrance there was a sign saying "they are being placed". None of the waiters who leisurely passed us felt able to offer us a seat or speak to us. After a long wait we were finally noticed by one of the cellars and we were able to find a place ourselves. Great service

Yesterday the three of us wanted to go out to eat with our little daughter around 4 p.m. We were turned away when the restaurant wasn't quite half full. The reason given at the entrance was that there weren't enough staff and the tables still had to be cleared away... Where have we gone?

Quaint location. Service very good. Always had a casual saying. Unfortunately, the kitchen performance is not that good. The starter came before the drinks and we had to wait almost 45 minutes for the main course, although unfortunately my burger and fries were also cold. Everything tasted okay. It's also a chain. The kitchen performance in Boltenhagen was significantly better

A dining restaurant that seems very focused on fast throughput. But it also offers space for a larger society.

Unfortunately, an absolute disappointment compared to the other restaurants... The reception was annoyed and bitchy. Our request for a table was immediately dismissed with rolling eyes and an aggressive tone. Alternative why... A bit arrogant and snooty... When asked to get separate tables (7 people), another employee took over and made confusing statements. Unfortunately we were annoyed and left... One restaurant further on we were happy to have more guests... Very unfortunate.

The restaurant was a third full in the evening because there was probably a lack of staff. The service was quick and friendly. The food...well. The goulash was clear... I wouldn't have been full. The knuckle was a little crispy, unfortunately most of it was rubbery. The same dumplings everywhere don't mean that anyone is thinking about what's on offer. The small knuckle is probably a so-called mini knuckle and at 20 euros is outside the acceptable range.
