Great place-bad food. Had the slightly more expensive rack of lamb...the herb crust was poor, the sweet potato puree was dried out, as was the sauce. Probably just heated in the microwave. It's very embarrassing for a chef to go out and do something like that. The cheesecake was ice cold - something like that you take out of the fridge in time for guests. So guests are not as important as quick money. Unfortunately it's still a nice place and the Seribice is great - unfortunately the chef isn't.

We had a birthday dinner there. Reservation, service and also the food were perfect. The prices are okay. The service was very attentive and friendly. With the view of the sea it was a successful day. Gladly again!

Great location, especially during the day with a great view of the sea. The ambience in the evening is also really special. This is how I imagine a place on Long Island to be. The steak was terrific, an undisputed highlight of the holiday in terms of taste.

We had salad, burgers, schnitzel and fish. Everything was good to very good! Beer is just Krombacher, oh well.

The food was bad and so was the service Heinz ketchup in plastic bags was available with the burger fries for 50 cents The burger was terrible, ok on the outside and completely soggy on the inside The taste in general is simply terrible. My friend's fish fillet was also mushy in places and the rosemary potatoes were actually just super small, unseasoned jacket potatoes. Unfortunately, a minute after ordering the food, you couldn't change anything about the order, at most you could just order it. Nevertheless, the food took over 20 minutes even though about 15 were announced Time doesn't matter but everything is very unfriendly The chef doesn't seem to have any talent and all in all he's just not as famous as my grandpa would say Prices are absolutely outrageous for these subterranean services and food When the food came and I asked if there was no ketchup or mayo with the fries on the burger, I was completely ignored three times until I got the answer that this was fine dining and there was nothing for free. I laughed heartily and at the same time was so upset at this impudence! Simply bad. It is also worth noting that the owner never responds to bad reviews but only to good ones Don't go there

We left the food because the evening menu didn't quite suit our needs! Unfortunately the waiter was a bit annoying because we hadn't made a reservation and therefore had a rather abrupt seating assignment. After looking at the map, which didn't correspond to the map down at the beach, we moved on again. Prices were ok and justified, but unfortunately our dishes weren't on the menu at all! Location absolutely awesome! Restaurant is built on stilts on the huge beach, great views of the sea and the beach. Unfortunately only accessible on foot (located at the end of the pier), but definitely worth a walk.

Ambience is clear! It's great to sit here with a view of the North Sea and the furnishings fit and are comfortable. Had dinner here for the first time and it was also delicious. I had the fish platter with 3 game fish, for me the salmon should have been glassy, ​​but it was still good. Price/performance is consistent. The price here is €25 - €33 per nose.

Great location, nice view. But far too expensive for the rather below-average spaghetti aglio olio (with onions and peppers from a jar) - when you're surprised that the parmesan with the pasta shows up unannounced on the bill for an additional €2, you only get a greasy "There is something in life nothing for free, my friend” - well then.

We visited Noah's Ark for dinner. The pre-Christmas ambience and atmosphere in the restaurant were super cozy. So the location itself is good. However, the food was disappointing. Even a simple currywurst was served carelessly. What was most disappointing was that more tips were deducted than agreed.

The view is magnificent and the cake was delicious, even though there are only two types. However, you look in vain for decaffeinated coffee or a milk substitute, which is simply no longer appropriate these days. A big annoyance is dealing with guests who want to sit outside on the terrace. You have to be prepared for the fact that you will only get cake outside. You are not allowed to take savory foods or other dishes sold in the restaurant outside, even if you pick them up yourself. This is really incomprehensible and I have never experienced this in any other restaurant. Amazingly, however, another customer was allowed to take fries outside. Are customers treated differently here? This leaves a very bad impression. One can only hope that the operators don't complain about a lack of sales, because with such rules and this service they are actively preventing them. There are two stars solely for the great view, the open business and the delicious cake. The rest? Unfortunately disappointing (because not full) and absolutely not recommended.

Everything was very tasty and, despite the unique location, relatively reasonable prices. The crème brulée is amazing... The staff is very friendly. We'll come back anytime!!

The 3 of us spontaneously ate there. I had fish, which was very tasty. The other two had a vegetarian burger. It was pretty bland and didn't taste great either. But service was good and the atmosphere was very nice. Unfortunately, the way back to the city was only half lit in the evening/night.

The Arche Noah restaurant is in an excellent location at the end of the pier and on the beach of the North Sea. From here you have a fascinating view of the North Sea.

If you want to have more than one snack and would like a table in the restaurant, you will be turned away very unfriendly - gastronomically it is very unfortunate to treat guests who want more than one Aperol Spritz in such an unfriendly way!

If you get a spot, you should enjoy it. No problem at all now in the off-season. Great view of the sea and you can unwind.

Nice atmosphere Unfortunately incompetent or overwhelmed staff. After the drinks we weren't able to order anything else to eat, even though we asked several times we were ignored... Not even cashing in worked without errors... It's a shame but we won't let it ruin our day.

Great place, very tasty food - whether fish plate, baked potato or schnitzel. Not exactly cheap, but that's how it is in the place. Relaxed atmosphere outside, for a coffee or a meal - clear recommendation!

Everything is really nice! Great view! Great music! The garlic bread and the truffle fries are particularly recommended… the small salad for €6 also offers much more than you would expect from a small salad (equivalent to a large salad in other restaurants). Very nice restaurant in the middle of the beach. Since the building is built as a stilt house, you are beautifully elevated and have a great view over the beach and the North Sea. Depending on how long you sit, you can easily watch the tides. The restaurant is cozy and decorated in a maritime style. The food was very tasty and the portions were reasonable. The staff was friendly and happy to accommodate the children's special requests. A visit is worth it.

The complete opposite of “Lotti am Südstrand” Even though it was really busy, the staff acted professionally, politely and always with a certain respect towards the guests. The food and drinks were quickly ordered and delivered. If you wanted to ask something, there was always a friendly answer. The prices are really moderate and not as high as at "Lotti". Very commendable and recommended. There is a big ➕ behind every ⭐

Right on the beach & worth a visit even in a storm. The food has always been good. Unfortunately, there are no lactose-free alternatives to milk (not even oat milk).

Currywurst and fries were served surprisingly quickly. Both unfortunately cold. The worst currywurst I've ever tasted, but also the most expensive. The service was very good!

Bearing: Great. Food: you can't complain. Service: The waiters ignore us. Several tables that came after us got drinks before us. We then had to actively speak to the staff in order to be able to order.

Beautiful restaurant with a fantastic view, we were "unfortunately" there one day during the storm flood on August 24th, 24, so everything was a bit gray. It was still great though. The atmosphere is fantastic and highly recommended. I think the food is a bit expensive and at least the currywurst wasn't a highlight. The staff was very friendly. Dogs are welcome.

After a pleasant walk along the beach, this restaurant invites you to relax while enjoying the wonderful view of the sparkling sea. The atmosphere is enriched by the always friendly and motivated waiters who are passionate about their work. When I asked to change the music, the waiter responded immediately and courteously, which made the experience even more pleasant. The service was consistently excellent and left nothing to be desired. The food was also a highlight: the cheeseburger was generous and the portion of fries that came with it was more than enough. The fries were a bit cool at first, but the taste quickly made up for it. All in all, I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit!

We had schnitzel and cheeseburgers. The food was ok, nothing more. Fair prices for the day ticket. The view and ambience were wonderful. Rarely have I had such a nice waiter.

Compared to the Dutch beach pavilions, the ambience and gastronomy leave a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy staying here. We don't even need to talk about the prices, as they are simply outrageous everywhere these days. This no longer has anything to do with compensating for inflation.

Pictures say more than 1,000 words. The burger is way below average. Buns way too dry, patty too dry (is that really 250 grams?) and the sauce used is a barbecue sauce - way too smoky taste. A juicy and delicious burger is not difficult, unfortunately you can't do it here. Due to the lack of an alternative here directly on the beach, I was forced to eat. It's really not a treat.

Nice view and nice service. That was the positive. Food for the price is unreasonable and not recommended at all. Just walk a few minutes on the beach to Strandbar 54. They do everything right!

The view is breathtaking, the staff tried hard and friendly, the food was okay, we loved the kiosk for the beach, you can get everything you need to enjoy the beach and the staff are very friendly and attentive.

Ordered grilled gambas. They were NOT grilled, they were boiled, and overcooked at that, tough and tasteless. Besides that, they were covered in a sauce (no sauce was listed on the menu) that could have auditioned for a salt mine. The waiter reported that the cook said it was prepared correctly 😳, so they refused to give me anything else. One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.

The location and the view is the ark. Noah are of course excellent. However, charging ten euros for a cocktail in a 0.2 liter water glass, half filled with ice, is clearly not cheap. My recommendation: stay away from cocktails, especially since it was still warm at the beginning and was only cooled down by the ice in the glass.

Fantastic location in SPO right on the beach - our food was good and not overpriced - recommended!

Unfortunately, I can't understand the many positive reviews here. The restaurant itself seems very old. The Wheel of Time has already been hard at work on the interior. The panoramic windows are also quite dirty. The food didn't live up to the price. The fish plate, lower standard side dish, rosemary potato floating in oil. Not really recommended.

Wie bei jedem anderen Pfahlbau-Restaurant in St. Peter-Ording ist die Lage und die Aussicht das Beste! Wir wurden freundlich begrüsst, die Wartezeit war okay, die Speisen lecker und eine angemessene Portion. Schade ist, dass auf der Terrasse geraucht werden darf - bedingt durch den Wind, sitzt man leider manchmal voll in der Rauchwolke, was gerade beim Essen nicht besonders lecker ist. Das Restaurant innen ist sehr schön eingerichtet - man fühlt sich gleich wohl.

The currywurst is the most disgusting piece of pressed meat from the day before yesterday that I have ever bought for 12.90 euros.

Tourist trap! Even more expensive than on the mainland. The scope of the dishes on the evening menu (from 6 p.m.) is very limited. There's more to eat at lunchtime... The mashed potatoes with the Wiener Schnitzel were like wallpaper paste, pure industrial goods! And that for 32.50 euros. After my complaint there was no response or goodwill. We don't go there anymore because the quality isn't convincing at all and the price-performance ratio is nowhere near right.

Fast service, delicious food and a magnificent view.

The currywurst is an insult and an absolute presumption. Serving up something like that for €12.90 is a bit of audacity. The Meica from the jar actually outperforms this sausage and the fries can only compete with microwave fries. The whole thing was rounded off by a fried wasp in the chip bowl, but it still fits into the overall picture. Unfortunately, the monopoly on the beach is shamelessly exploited here and poor quality is offered at the highest prices.

Were there for a Kaiserschmarren. Super tasty and friendly, courteous service

20€ for a lukewarm pasta dish that is actually served almost cold is amazing. Not to mention the manageable quantity. 3 pieces of beef and a few strips of pasta that felt like they were only warmed up briefly in the microwave?! The waiter obviously expects a tip. But for what? Was the guest once asked if everything was okay? No! Don't expect a tip with so little effort. Cocktails were okay. Food underwhelming for the price.

Great restaurant with a small but good menu

Today we decided to go on a day trip to St Peter Ording. What a paradise at the North Sea it is! At the Arche Noah restaurant we enjoyed cold Fanta, a beautiful homemade style Lime, Mint and Basil Lemonade for drinks. The food is stellar. The loaded potato with chicken, sour cream and salad Devine. The Schnitzel is so thin and flavourful that all you need is a bit of lemon and the Currywurst is very tasty and huge! A must visit!

Food came quickly and was good. However, the waiter was endlessly unfriendly. I was probably unlucky with that person, the other waiters seemed friendly!

Very good food with a very good view, the day menu is ok in terms of price, the evening menu is expensive but justified by the quality of the food and the view. Unfortunately, the service is characterized by a complete lack of interest, so that you almost feel unwanted.

We spontaneously came to Noah's Ark at lunchtime. I can only agree with the previous reviews: the view and the location are of course incredible. We really liked that. We sat outside, but on the way to the toilet (very clean) I went through the interior, which I thought was really nice. We ate plaice with rosemary potatoes and a cheeseburger. The plaice was fresh and excellent, the potatoes were okay. The cheeseburger was particularly disappointing; we had to wait a long time for it, but it was also cold and unfortunately didn't taste particularly good. We just expected something different, it wasn't anything special. They probably specialize in fish dishes. But what was really great was the service. We had an attentive, nice waiter who really went out of his way to look after us. Maybe we'll come back again for cake and coffee - probably not for food.

In terms of price, it was fine dining, the food was very good and you were full. The atmosphere is very nice and you must have been there just for that reason.

For me it is by far the best beach pavilion in SPO. The price and performance are just right here. Service is top and fast, prices are absolutely okay for the location, especially compared to other beach restaurants in SPO, some of which charge significantly more. The view is beautiful and the wheat from the barrel for 5.90 is always chilled and fresh. Food is worth the money. Conclusion: If SPO beach, then Noah's Ark!

The visit to the restaurant can be described as disappointing. I was here 3 years ago and was amazed at how great everything was and how good the food tasted. Unfortunately I can't say that now. We were welcomed halfway and were allowed to choose our place. A man walked from the next table who obviously didn't like the cake because he didn't finish it and left it standing. That was a sign we didn't want to heed. The waiters took their time until our order was taken. With above average prices we got different quality. The pasta wasn't salted enough, we had to ask for salt and then I found a hair on the shrimp that was fried with the shrimp... When we paid we pointed the hair at the waiter. From him: Pause and then “Sorry” (that seemed completely dishonest), “How would you like to pay, cash or card?” ridiculous, there’s no other way to call it. I was firmly convinced that the restaurant was good and I continue to recommend it. Now it will be quite the opposite. The view is worth it, the food isn't :( When we left, the remains of the cake were still there at the next table.

Nice restaurant on the beach in St. Peter-Ording right at the end of the long wooden jetty. Even though it was still quite empty, it took quite a long time before you could order. However, the view of the beach, which was empty due to the weather, made up for it. The food from the daily menu was good for the price. The facilities are decent, but simple and aimed at beach visitors. Emphasis was placed on a clear view and decorations were largely avoided.

If you accept substandard service, mediocre food and above-average prices even for a holiday destination, this is the place for you. The view was good and the hair in the food was free.

I can't rate the food and didn't get any! Were there on June 13th, the place wasn't even half full (7:40 p.m.). We were told we could sit wherever we wanted, so we did and chose our food! Then we wait and wait for a waiter, who cleared away to our right and chatted at the table to our left, but we weren't asked what we wanted to eat or drink! A whole 20 minutes of radio silence, we then left and the waiter saw this but said nothing! No go! Would have easily made 100€ in sales!

We were there with 10 ladies and felt completely at home! Very nice service and excellent food! We'd love to come back!

At the end of the pier in Bad you come directly to Noah's Ark. You can either sit completely inside on the upper floor or sit outside on the lower floor, but it is covered and also protected from the weather. A visit is definitely worth it because you have a beautiful view of the North Sea. Prices within the local range, staff friendly and food is good. Can you go more than once 😉.

I ordered a crab soup. What arrived was a gelatin-thickened soup packet into which someone had thrown half a handful of crabs. This works better at Gosch next door. My neighbor at the table had her “potato soup” returned, which was just as transparent and thickened. She was right! No, this is not a recommendation for a second visit.

The sun sets, the view on the beach is incredible. With a good glass of … and gods food you will enjoy this great location. We wil be back!

The food is simply terrible and extremely expensive. Our eyes were directed directly at the toilet. The Salt and Silver are similarly located with a great view. The food isn't cheap either, but at least it tastes good there.

As always, thrilled. There's no better place to enjoy a drink and a snack on the beach. No matter whether you come with a jacket or swimming trunks.

We have been guests at Noah's Ark off and on for many years. The ambience and view remain fantastic, but unfortunately the attention and service have significantly decreased. The food is okay, but the portion sizes in particular do not justify the now very high prices. After dinner you want to be full. A pity!

Unfortunately, I have to rate my experience at the Arche Noah restaurant by the sea as extremely disappointing. The staff was extremely unfriendly and unaccommodating. When the food came, we discovered that the quality was far below our expectations. It has to be said that the day before we visited a restaurant from the same owner in Büsum and it was a lot better. The food was tasteless and seemed carelessly prepared. When the waiter received a tip despite the disappointing service, it seemed as if it wasn't enough for him because he didn't even say "thank you". All in all, a disappointing experience that I don't want to repeat.

Great location with a box seat on the North Sea. The ambience is of course typical of a pile dwelling. But that's bearable given the prospect.

Reservation at 6pm is okay, no one is there yet, the many high-priced champagne and wine bottles in double magnum format are overwhelming or should Sylt be imitated here. The entrance service was OK, but why not leave the guest a paper dinner menu at their seat so that they have something to hand for subsequent orders? The starter (goat cheese) was delicious and so was the aperitif. During the subsequent wine consultation for the main course, there were only misunderstandings due to the white wine category with the corresponding winemakers (is the Pinot Blanc from Dreißigacker or from Schneider? Please declare all wines better here!!) then the main course came and only then the wine... I think the experienced reader will notice where the catch was... (when ordering, ask whether the guest would like a different drink than the aperitif with the main course and time it according to the kitchen. Unfortunately, the crème brulle wasn't completely burned off for the dessert. Not everyone likes sugar... because of all these things the evening was simply less relaxed and unfortunately it wasn't good value for money! Especially in terms of service the highlight was the pappardele!! Otherwise, we left partly with the feeling, do you have to wear branded clothing to order a bottle of wine? The looks were delicious!! I was wearing a polo shirt from an English amplifier manufacturer. This was confirmed 2 days later when a waiter said to me that when I wanted to order a coffee (in a Wacken shirt) you are welcome if you can afford it. I was speechless for a moment, objected briefly and left
