Worst shop ever, cheapest fries totally overpriced and incompetent staff

Located directly on the beach. Great view of the beach and the sea. The staff is very polite and competent. The ambiance is very stylish, especially indoors. It's cozy and inviting. The food is very good. Plentiful. Special requests are easily accommodated. A place, a restaurant, that you must see and visit.

I have to say, the food was delicious, absolutely worth the money, even if it was a bit pricey. But the view and the location overlooking the sea were fantastic. I highly recommend it; anyone on a short break here should definitely check it out.

The view is impressive. Eating with a view of the beach and the sea is something truly special. The selection of dishes is good, but the dishes themselves are nothing special. Everything tasted good. You can easily combine a visit to the Arche Noah restaurant with a walk on the beach.

The view is wonderful. We both had a large salad and the price was tremendous. Unfortunately, for the price we only received a “side salad”, nothing special that you could imagine for the price... The view combined with a cool drink is sensational.

We have enjoyed coming to Noah's Ark for many years and always feel completely at home there. When it came to finding a location for our wedding, it was immediately clear to us: It could only be Noah's Ark and we were not disappointed in any way. The preparation with Ms. Hartmann was uncomplicated, warm and absolutely professional. She was always courteous, solution-oriented and had an open ear for everything. Our wedding day itself couldn't have been more beautiful: the room was beautifully decorated, the ambience with the many fairy lights in the evening was simply magical. The food was excellent and the service was absolutely perfect – attentive, friendly and always present. We would like to thank the entire Noah's Ark team from the bottom of our hearts!

Spektakuläre Lage. Als der Apfelkuchen endlich serviert wurde, dachte ich: Vielleicht schmeckt er ja besser, als er aussieht. Tat er aber nicht. Beim Cappuccino kann man eigentlich nicht viel falsch machen. Eigentlich... aber war das denn für eine Milch?

The atmosphere is very nice, the staff is also nice, but unfortunately the ravioli and tortellini weren't that tasty. The sauce didn't seem freshly made, so we were a little disappointed.

Four of us came here for dinner and left completely satisfied. Many thanks to the entire Noah's Ark team for the delicious food, the attentive and very friendly service. It was a very successful evening for us. We'd love to come back!

Nice location to take a drink break after a walk on the beach, or just end the day with delicious food. The waitresses were attentive!

The ambience is really great, but the food is subpar. I've never eaten such bad fries for around €8 and gotten packaged mayo/ketchup with them. This restaurant wouldn't survive in any other place. Too bad!

Wir waren etwas verunsichert wegen der vielen schlechten Bewertungen. Aber die letzten waren gut, und so haben wir einen Tisch reserviert. Im Haus abends ist ausreichend Abstand zwischen den Tischen und der Blick auf das Meer perfekt. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich, aber sowohl die Vorspeisen als auch Seezunge und Lamm waren gut. Mit Mühe noch eine Creme brulee, lecker und alles ansprechend angerichtet. Nicht ganz billig, aber bei der Location gerechtfertigt.

Today we were at Noah's Ark in St. Peter-Ording. The location is really fantastic - there is hardly a better view, especially when it's sunny like today! To eat: We had a currywurst, a salad, garlic bread, a Wiener Schnitzel (Vienna style), two lemonades and two Spezis. The food was okay overall - nothing special, but solid. I would rate the schnitzel and currywurst with a 3, the salad was quite good. We particularly enjoyed the lemonades. The service was consistently friendly, attentive and warm - you really feel welcome. We paid 90 euros for everything - that's okay, even if there are certainly better restaurants in SPO. Nevertheless: I would go there again. It's not fine dining, but a nice place for a relaxed meal with a great view. 5 stars because nothing was seriously negative - and the overall impression was just right.

Perhaps the best restaurant among the three pile dwellings. It's worth it! Whether coffee, cake on the terrace or rack of lamb, fish indoors. All recommended. The service is also good 👍🏽 thank you. Keep it up!

Very good food at reasonable prices for the location. Rustic stilt house with covered and heated outdoor area. Friendly and attentive service. Easily accessible even with a wheelchair. And an incomparable view of the North Sea included...

I'm honestly very disappointed. The online menu mentions a currywurst that my 8-year-old son was really looking forward to. We stopped in in the evening after a walk on the beach and the curry sausage wasn't on the dinner menu. When asked, it was impossible to prepare one, not even for a child, only fries with curry sauce would be possible. On the one hand the menu on the website needs to be changed/completed, on the other hand I find it very inflexible. The evening was nice but independent of the restaurant.

It was cold and the sun was shining, inviting us to have a delicious coffee and a great waffle. It was a pleasant stay with nice service and ambience. Highly recommended!!

The location is great, especially in the evening at sunset. The food borders on cafeteria quality, unseasoned and tasteless, and also overpriced. There are some friendly wait staff and some very unfriendly ones who take their frustrations out on the guests. I wouldn't recommend it; there are better restaurants in SPO with equally good locations.

It wasn't cheap, but the food (steak and fish) was excellent, and the service was also excellent. The atmosphere inside at sunset and afterwards is unique.

The food doesn't do justice to the location. The burger tastes like it came from a microwave and looks like it, too. The side dishes are poorly cooked and taste like frozen food. The salad was simply unwashed. The fish actually didn't taste bad at all, but it was exceptional. The smoking area is far too large (occupies the entire floor). Given the steep prices, I strongly advise against a visit. The surrounding restaurants are more dedicated to their work than this place.

We ordered from the daily specials. The prices here are quite reasonable, which is probably due to the location. You have a great view of the sea while eating. The drinks were brought very quickly, as was the food. The service was very friendly.

I wanted to sit down in the restaurant for coffee and cake, but was directed to a seat in the corner. Although there were free tables in the front area, I was refused one.

Man läuft sich zwar fast einen Wolf, aber das bringt die tolle Lage weit vorne auf dem Strand eben so mit sich. Zur besten Sende-(Essens)Zeit am Abend waren auch wir dort, jedoch ohne jede Einschränkung in der Qualität im Service, im Gegenteil der Kellner war pfiffig und ging auch auf kleine Sonderwünsche perfekt ein! Die Speisen waren sehr lecker und wie bestellt. Als wir zum Ende ein bestimmtes Getränk bestellen wollten, daß unsere Freunde vorschlugen, kam ein wunderbares Gegenvorschlag, den wir dann alle bestellten und von dem wir sehr angetan waren! Wir hatten einen perfekten Abend mit perfektem Essen und sehr guter Stimmung, seitens des Services. Daher unsere unbedingte Empfehlung für dieses Lokal!

I went on a day trip and drank coffee. Everything was really great when it came to self-service!! I love rustic restaurants or, like there, rustic terraces. I can only recommend it, I feel very comfortable there. And if you like shells, I picked up 4kg of shells for crafting in about 2 hours...really nice shells, nice size too!!

Very cozy and unique. The staff are friendly and helpful. We can't judge the food because we didn't eat anything. But on the next visit.

Great place-bad food. Had the slightly more expensive rack of lamb...the herb crust was poor, the sweet potato puree was dried out, as was the sauce. Probably just heated in the microwave. It's very embarrassing for a chef to go out and do something like that. The cheesecake was ice cold - something like that you take out of the fridge in time for guests. So guests are not as important as quick money. Unfortunately it's still a nice place and the Seribice is great - unfortunately the chef isn't.

We had a birthday dinner there. Reservation, service and also the food were perfect. The prices are okay. The service was very attentive and friendly. With the view of the sea it was a successful day. Gladly again!

Great location, especially during the day with a great view of the sea. The ambience in the evening is also really special. This is how I imagine a place on Long Island to be. The steak was terrific, an undisputed highlight of the holiday in terms of taste.

Great location to enjoy the last Glühwein of the year 2024, even when the wind is up to 33 kts! Their friendly service and wind barriers will protect you :)

We had salad, burgers, schnitzel and fish. Everything was good to very good! Beer is just Krombacher, oh well.

The food was bad and so was the service Heinz ketchup in plastic bags was available with the burger fries for 50 cents The burger was terrible, ok on the outside and completely soggy on the inside The taste in general is simply terrible. My friend's fish fillet was also mushy in places and the rosemary potatoes were actually just super small, unseasoned jacket potatoes. Unfortunately, a minute after ordering the food, you couldn't change anything about the order, at most you could just order it. Nevertheless, the food took over 20 minutes even though about 15 were announced Time doesn't matter but everything is very unfriendly The chef doesn't seem to have any talent and all in all he's just not as famous as my grandpa would say Prices are absolutely outrageous for these subterranean services and food When the food came and I asked if there was no ketchup or mayo with the fries on the burger, I was completely ignored three times until I got the answer that this was fine dining and there was nothing for free. I laughed heartily and at the same time was so upset at this impudence! Simply bad. It is also worth noting that the owner never responds to bad reviews but only to good ones Don't go there

We left the food because the evening menu didn't quite suit our needs! Unfortunately the waiter was a bit annoying because we hadn't made a reservation and therefore had a rather abrupt seating assignment. After looking at the map, which didn't correspond to the map down at the beach, we moved on again. Prices were ok and justified, but unfortunately our dishes weren't on the menu at all! Location absolutely awesome! Restaurant is built on stilts on the huge beach, great views of the sea and the beach. Unfortunately only accessible on foot (located at the end of the pier), but definitely worth a walk.

Ambience is clear! It's great to sit here with a view of the North Sea and the furnishings fit and are comfortable. Had dinner here for the first time and it was also delicious. I had the fish platter with 3 game fish, for me the salmon should have been glassy, ​​but it was still good. Price/performance is consistent. The price here is €25 - €33 per nose.

Great location, nice view. But far too expensive for the rather below-average spaghetti aglio olio (with onions and peppers from a jar) - when you're surprised that the parmesan with the pasta shows up unannounced on the bill for an additional €2, you only get a greasy "There is something in life nothing for free, my friend” - well then.

We visited Noah's Ark for dinner. The pre-Christmas ambience and atmosphere in the restaurant were super cozy. So the location itself is good. However, the food was disappointing. Even a simple currywurst was served carelessly. What was most disappointing was that more tips were deducted than agreed.

The view is magnificent and the cake was delicious, even though there are only two types. However, you look in vain for decaffeinated coffee or a milk substitute, which is simply no longer appropriate these days. A big annoyance is dealing with guests who want to sit outside on the terrace. You have to be prepared for the fact that you will only get cake outside. You are not allowed to take savory foods or other dishes sold in the restaurant outside, even if you pick them up yourself. This is really incomprehensible and I have never experienced this in any other restaurant. Amazingly, however, another customer was allowed to take fries outside. Are customers treated differently here? This leaves a very bad impression. One can only hope that the operators don't complain about a lack of sales, because with such rules and this service they are actively preventing them. There are two stars solely for the great view, the open business and the delicious cake. The rest? Unfortunately disappointing (because not full) and absolutely not recommended.

Everything was very tasty and, despite the unique location, relatively reasonable prices. The crème brulée is amazing... The staff is very friendly. We'll come back anytime!!

The 3 of us spontaneously ate there. I had fish, which was very tasty. The other two had a vegetarian burger. It was pretty bland and didn't taste great either. But service was good and the atmosphere was very nice. Unfortunately, the way back to the city was only half lit in the evening/night.

The Arche Noah restaurant is in an excellent location at the end of the pier and on the beach of the North Sea. From here you have a fascinating view of the North Sea.

If you want to have more than one snack and would like a table in the restaurant, you will be turned away very unfriendly - gastronomically it is very unfortunate to treat guests who want more than one Aperol Spritz in such an unfriendly way!

If you get a spot, you should enjoy it. No problem at all now in the off-season. Great view of the sea and you can unwind.

Nice atmosphere Unfortunately incompetent or overwhelmed staff. After the drinks we weren't able to order anything else to eat, even though we asked several times we were ignored... Not even cashing in worked without errors... It's a shame but we won't let it ruin our day.

Great place, very tasty food - whether fish plate, baked potato or schnitzel. Not exactly cheap, but that's how it is in the place. Relaxed atmosphere outside, for a coffee or a meal - clear recommendation!

Everything is really nice! Great view! Great music! The garlic bread and the truffle fries are particularly recommended… the small salad for €6 also offers much more than you would expect from a small salad (equivalent to a large salad in other restaurants). Very nice restaurant in the middle of the beach. Since the building is built as a stilt house, you are beautifully elevated and have a great view over the beach and the North Sea. Depending on how long you sit, you can easily watch the tides. The restaurant is cozy and decorated in a maritime style. The food was very tasty and the portions were reasonable. The staff was friendly and happy to accommodate the children's special requests. A visit is worth it.

The complete opposite of “Lotti am Südstrand” Even though it was really busy, the staff acted professionally, politely and always with a certain respect towards the guests. The food and drinks were quickly ordered and delivered. If you wanted to ask something, there was always a friendly answer. The prices are really moderate and not as high as at "Lotti". Very commendable and recommended. There is a big ➕ behind every ⭐

Right on the beach & worth a visit even in a storm. The food has always been good. Unfortunately, there are no lactose-free alternatives to milk (not even oat milk).

Currywurst and fries were served surprisingly quickly. Both unfortunately cold. The worst currywurst I've ever tasted, but also the most expensive. The service was very good!

Bearing: Great. Food: you can't complain. Service: The waiters ignore us. Several tables that came after us got drinks before us. We then had to actively speak to the staff in order to be able to order.

Beautiful restaurant with a fantastic view, we were "unfortunately" there one day during the storm flood on August 24th, 24, so everything was a bit gray. It was still great though. The atmosphere is fantastic and highly recommended. I think the food is a bit expensive and at least the currywurst wasn't a highlight. The staff was very friendly. Dogs are welcome.

After a pleasant walk along the beach, this restaurant invites you to relax while enjoying the wonderful view of the sparkling sea. The atmosphere is enriched by the always friendly and motivated waiters who are passionate about their work. When I asked to change the music, the waiter responded immediately and courteously, which made the experience even more pleasant. The service was consistently excellent and left nothing to be desired. The food was also a highlight: the cheeseburger was generous and the portion of fries that came with it was more than enough. The fries were a bit cool at first, but the taste quickly made up for it. All in all, I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit!

We had schnitzel and cheeseburgers. The food was ok, nothing more. Fair prices for the day ticket. The view and ambience were wonderful. Rarely have I had such a nice waiter.

Compared to the Dutch beach pavilions, the ambience and gastronomy leave a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy staying here. We don't even need to talk about the prices, as they are simply outrageous everywhere these days. This no longer has anything to do with compensating for inflation.

Pictures say more than 1,000 words. The burger is way below average. Buns way too dry, patty too dry (is that really 250 grams?) and the sauce used is a barbecue sauce - way too smoky taste. A juicy and delicious burger is not difficult, unfortunately you can't do it here. Due to the lack of an alternative here directly on the beach, I was forced to eat. It's really not a treat.

Nice view and nice service. That was the positive. Food for the price is unreasonable and not recommended at all. Just walk a few minutes on the beach to Strandbar 54. They do everything right!

The view is breathtaking, the staff tried hard and friendly, the food was okay, we loved the kiosk for the beach, you can get everything you need to enjoy the beach and the staff are very friendly and attentive.

Ordered grilled gambas. They were NOT grilled, they were boiled, and overcooked at that, tough and tasteless. Besides that, they were covered in a sauce (no sauce was listed on the menu) that could have auditioned for a salt mine. The waiter reported that the cook said it was prepared correctly 😳, so they refused to give me anything else. One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had.

The location and the view is the ark. Noah are of course excellent. However, charging ten euros for a cocktail in a 0.2 liter water glass, half filled with ice, is clearly not cheap. My recommendation: stay away from cocktails, especially since it was still warm at the beginning and was only cooled down by the ice in the glass.

Unfortunately, I can't understand the many positive reviews here. The restaurant itself seems very old. The Wheel of Time has already been hard at work on the interior. The panoramic windows are also quite dirty. The food didn't live up to the price. The fish plate, lower standard side dish, rosemary potato floating in oil. Not really recommended.

Wie bei jedem anderen Pfahlbau-Restaurant in St. Peter-Ording ist die Lage und die Aussicht das Beste! Wir wurden freundlich begrüsst, die Wartezeit war okay, die Speisen lecker und eine angemessene Portion. Schade ist, dass auf der Terrasse geraucht werden darf - bedingt durch den Wind, sitzt man leider manchmal voll in der Rauchwolke, was gerade beim Essen nicht besonders lecker ist. Das Restaurant innen ist sehr schön eingerichtet - man fühlt sich gleich wohl.

The currywurst is the most disgusting piece of pressed meat from the day before yesterday that I have ever bought for 12.90 euros.
