Great view, good food, and a prime location. We recommend making a reservation in advance.

Very nice view with good drinks and cake. Service was also very good! The fish soup was truly tasteless, more like tomato soup, chewy fish-like curls... nope! The sausage and fries were also very mediocre.

The Ark was always something to avoid due to overcrowding. Today, however, there was a storm, and there was hardly a soul around, so we were able to sit comfortably in the Ark between two hellish rain showers. Great atmosphere and delicious plaice fillet at St. Peter's usual prices, with a view of the storm-lashed North Sea. You couldn't have spent a worse evening :)

We recently visited the North Sea for the first time and ate here, and we can't complain. We placed our order quickly, and the food and drinks were served promptly. It was delicious, and we'd love to come back if we get the chance...

Unfortunately, there is no alternative locally, otherwise the store would probably go bankrupt.

Top location and view – that's about it, unfortunately. The restaurant lacks heart, food and drinks are of minimal quality, but the prices are upscale – fitting for the location, but not for the service.

The restaurant is highly recommended. Friendliness is a top priority. Helpful, and I think the prices are reasonable. The food is always delicious. There's also lovely music. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone. I would gladly go there again.

Unfortunately, the currywurst wasn't cooked well. It wasn't fried or grilled properly. The sauce was thin. A real shame! For €14.50, it's quite expensive. Smoking on the terrace was also very disturbing. A designated smoking area, rather than a non-smoking area, would have been very appropriate.

The ambiance and service were top-notch. We weren't pleased that the staff left their cigarette butts in the sand.

We've been lying on this stretch of beach for years, where you can either get something from Noah's Ark to put in your beach chair or eat it up there. I have to say, the produce is usually okay, but the prices have gotten out of hand. For a takeaway salad with maybe six lettuce leaves and eight small pieces of chicken for €19.50, even half the price would be too much! Admittedly, I think the salad dressing is good! But where is all this going to lead? Yesterday I picked up a currywurst and chips. Disaster, a soggy red sausage in one piece, the sauce not really that great. Whether you get chips or garlic bread with dip, everything is incredibly overpriced, half the price too much! I've only ever seen it like that on the islands, and there you can actually understand it to a certain extent since everything has to be brought there. I hope they don't want me to think that only top earners can afford it. We love ST. Peter-Ording, and we'll be coming back to this stretch of beach, but we'll just bring our own things with us, and that's a shame. We like to spend a bit, but too much is too much.

I got two fish sandwiches. Bismarck was okay. Salmon wasn't good at all. I ordered one fries and they took two. But I got my money back.

Great beach restaurant in one of St. Peter Ording's famous stilt houses. Dine with a sea view! Simply wonderful. It's like a vacation—even if it's "just" a day trip.

We went there for an afternoon coffee with the kids. The waiter was very friendly. The coffee was delicious, and the price was absolutely reasonable for the location. Wonderful location and beautiful setting.

A glorious end to the beach. I had a delicious schnitzel with fries, which was really good, and a generous and filling portion. The service was quick and attentive, which is a plus for this wonderful location. The ambiance, right on St. Peter-Ording beach, is beautiful and a lovely place to feast and indulge.

On August 7, 2025, I was served a slice of soggy cheesecake and a slice of soggy apple crumble cake (from the day before?). Super delicious/yuck.

I waited a good half hour for my jackfruit burger. What was served was very disappointing. The bun was dry, fell apart, and tasted, in my opinion, like cheap supermarket buns. The patty was crispy on the edges and mushy on the inside. The taste wasn't anything special either. I would expect a burger like that from a €6 takeaway, but not from a €15.90 restaurant. The fries were okay, but they reminded me more of a takeaway. When I paid, there was no question, like you'd expect from a restaurant, asking if everything was tasty.

A restaurant on stilts. A very pleasant place to sit, have a drink, and eat something! The view of the vast white sand and the North Sea is spectacular. This restaurant is no-frills. You sit wherever you're free, and someone will come and serve you promptly. They have a set menu and a daily menu! We were only given the daily menu, which I found quite limited, with simpler and cheaper dishes. The restaurant also offers takeout, if you prefer to eat sitting on the sand and enjoying the sea. Note: To get to the restaurant, you'll have to pay a €4 fee (per person) and walk almost 1 km along a pier over a protected area, but it's worth it.

Great food, great drinks, and a magnificent view. We had an absolutely fantastic time there with our children. We'd love to come back.

After a wonderful day at the beach, we stopped by "Arca di Noè" to enjoy the delicious penne all'arrabbiata (but the penne nord sea was also very good). Our compatriot Mirko served us: we felt right at home. THANK YOU!

As a single woman, I walked through the outdoor cafe and was "gently" bumped by a waiter. :-( The cake wasn't fresh, and the café crème was missing a few beans.

A pleasant sunset and friendly, attentive service. Even though I arrived late, I was served pleasantly. They asked the kitchen what they wanted and then pointed out what else could be ordered. A beautiful location where you can enjoy the sunset, with a nice glass in your hand and a delicious meal in your stomach.

I've been coming to SPO for 25 years and have been to Noah's Ark several times. Today I ordered crudo fillet of sea bass from the daily special. Since I don't speak Italian, I wasn't aware that the fish was raw. A note in German on the menu or from the waiter would have been helpful. When the food finally arrived... I got raw fish drenched in olive oil. Sorry - I've never eaten such bad fish... Our dog enjoyed it. It's also a smoking restaurant, so two chain smokers sat next to us. And cold raw fish drenched in olive oil with a pungent nicotine smell - the food almost wanted to come out again. So, in conclusion - if you want to eat good fish, there are better alternatives everywhere... So, unfortunately, only 3 stars, although it has a lot of potential...

I was there at the end of May with my son and daughter-in-law. Maybe it was okay just to have a drink, but I had redfish fillet with rosemary potatoes and three lettuce leaves. I really shouldn't have eaten it. I spent the whole night on the toilet with fish poisoning. 🤑🤑 Well, they probably don't care because we were just tourists, but I would be careful in Noah's Ark.

The location is perfect. But that's about it. The food and drinks are absolutely overpriced and of poor quality. The Spezi for €4.50 tasted more like water than anything else. The burger meat was lukewarm to cold, and the fries were hard – all for €16.50. The service seemed lackluster, and it took forever for someone to come. Overall, this was our last time here.

Very good cuisine in a great location

From here, you have a beautiful view of the beach. The selection is good. We drank the homemade mint basil lemonade. It was just what we needed in this beautiful weather.

We only used the bar, but it was really good. Very friendly, and you could take everything downstairs and eat it in the hotel's own beach chairs for free. They could use a bit more maintenance, though. Overall, we were very satisfied.

We've only ever been there for a drink, as the view is simply beautiful. The staff was always fine—not particularly friendly, but not rude either. Average. Today we ordered a currywurst with fries each with our drinks. You can't really go wrong with that. For over €13, you can expect a bit of quality. But we were wrong. We've rarely encountered something so dreary and wobbly. The mini packet of mayo for the fries also added another €1 per packet. A disgrace. Conclusion: If you want a drink, it's a nice place. Otherwise, it's better to head for the numerous restaurants in the area that offer good quality and regional products, and don't just focus on fobbing off tourists at high prices...

Supposedly open until 10 p.m., we were greeted at 8:45 p.m. with the words that they were about to close. Reluctantly, we were then brought the cocktail menu. At 9:15 p.m., we were rudely billed. Simply overpriced for the quality and the lousy service. Two stars only for the magnificent view.

We spent two weeks in St. Peter Ording in June. At the end of our trip (unfortunately, we didn't return more often), we went there for dinner one evening. A lovely restaurant, everything was delicious, and the staff was really friendly. We'll be back more often on our next vacation.👍😃

Great view, almost impossible to beat, food was good but service could be better and more attentive to guests. But worth a visit

A very inviting restaurant with a great view under the stilt-built roof, and friendly staff. It's a shame the meat and, for example, the water (Italy) aren't locally sourced. Lamb from New Zealand, beef from Australia/USA, considering there are so many sheep and cows here... The vegan burger should be removed from the menu, or the ingredients should be more interesting. In general, the main courses weren't prepared with much love, which wasn't a problem with the appetizers. Overall, though, we enjoyed the evening. :-)

07/2025 Well...I gave the stars for the top location and the friendly staff. The view of the North Sea is sensational. But that's about it. The prices for the food are completely exorbitant. Even though people keep saying that everything has gotten more expensive. Yes, I agree with that, but the quality has to be right for the price. Well, I didn't have anything special. Since I wasn't particularly hungry, I treated myself to the "Currywurst." I'm always amazed at what's sold as a "Currywurst." What I got reminded me of a warmed-up kind of Bockwurst. With the "homemade curry sauce," I missed the fruity curry flavor with a touch of spice. That was nothing. The side fries were hard and from a packet. Overall, everything was served lukewarm. I wouldn't go here again. The staff was quite friendly. I'm giving the 👎 and ⭐️⭐️, but only for the great view. During my short vacation in St. Peter-Ording, I discovered many "good" restaurants and snack bars that are worth stopping at. For example, "Fisch&Mee(h)r👨‍🍳🍽🍻. Simple and good👍, to name just one, and that's not even a restaurant🤔

Latte macchiato for €4.90...not exactly cheap, but the view over the beach makes up for it...very friendly staff.

Arche Noha is a house on stilts in Sankt Peter Ording. A short walk across the beach is about a 10-minute walk from Gosch. The food and cocktails here are delicious. The view of the sea and the beach takes care of the rest. Highly recommended. Also ideal for special occasions.

Eine tolle Location direkt am Strand von SPO…dazu auf Pfahlbauten - dafür lohnt ein Besuch schon. Wir hatten eine Fl Grauburgunder, Seewolf und Wiener Schnitzel. Die Speisen waren ok, der Service auch… Lage ist top…

The view is very nice, but the food is overpriced and tastes of cheap ingredients. There are other restaurants along the water with much better food!

Summer solstice. Chilled atmosphere, lounge music on the terrace, attentive service, fresh fish, and a stunning sunset were all included for free. Highly recommended, we'll be back.

The view from the terrace of the beach and the North Sea is beautiful. The cappuccino is excellent, and the rice pudding is a real treat. The value for money is commensurate with the location. The atmosphere invites you to linger, especially in nice weather. The staff is friendly and attentive, and wait times are pleasantly short. A perfect place to unwind.

Wir haben einen langen Spaziergang am Strand gemacht und hatten großen Durst und Lust auf eine Kleinigkeit zum Essen. Wir haben schnell einen schönen Platz im Außenbereich gefunden. Wir versuchten mehrfach den Kellner auf uns aufmerksam zu machen. Leider ist uns das nicht gelungen, trotz Anfrage an einen Kollegen. Da liegt nahe zu denken, dass die Herrschaften es nicht nötig haben. Schade! Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder.

Located directly on the beach. Great view of the beach and the sea. The staff is very polite and competent. The ambiance is very stylish, especially indoors. It's cozy and inviting. The food is very good. Plentiful. Special requests are easily accommodated. A place, a restaurant, that you must see and visit.

Zum 2. Mal nach 2024 in SPO gewesen. Der erste Weg war wieder über den weitläufigen Strand in die Arche Noah. Wir haben einen Strandkorb vor dem Pfahlbau der Arche Noah ergattert. Getränke kann man an einem separaten Schalter abholen. Der sehr freundliche und immer lächelnde Kellner (Faton heißt Er ) macht einen hervorragenden Job. Durch seine Ruhe, die er ausstrahlt und seine Umsichtigkeit kommt auch bei größeren Andrang keine hecktig auf. Unser Urlaub war durch Faton einfach perfekt und wir freuen uns schon wieder auf das nächste Jahr 😊👌👌

I have to say, the food was delicious, absolutely worth the money, even if it was a bit pricey. But the view and the location overlooking the sea were fantastic. I highly recommend it; anyone on a short break here should definitely check it out.

Das Lokal ist sommerlich, rustikal und hat einen eigenen Charme. Service ist freundlich. Die Beratung zu den Getränken und Cocktails war gut. Irritiert hat mich bloss, dass wir von 3 verschiedenen Personen bedient wurden, dafür war alles sehr schnell. Da wir nichts gegessen haben, kann ich zu den Speisen nichts sagen. Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass nach dem Regen, die nassen Sitze und Tische für die Gäste trocken abgrieben gewesen wären.

The view is impressive. Eating with a view of the beach and the sea is something truly special. The selection of dishes is good, but the dishes themselves are nothing special. Everything tasted good. You can easily combine a visit to the Arche Noah restaurant with a walk on the beach.

The view is wonderful. We both had a large salad and the price was tremendous. Unfortunately, for the price we only received a “side salad”, nothing special that you could imagine for the price... The view combined with a cool drink is sensational.

We have enjoyed coming to Noah's Ark for many years and always feel completely at home there. When it came to finding a location for our wedding, it was immediately clear to us: It could only be Noah's Ark and we were not disappointed in any way. The preparation with Ms. Hartmann was uncomplicated, warm and absolutely professional. She was always courteous, solution-oriented and had an open ear for everything. Our wedding day itself couldn't have been more beautiful: the room was beautifully decorated, the ambience with the many fairy lights in the evening was simply magical. The food was excellent and the service was absolutely perfect – attentive, friendly and always present. We would like to thank the entire Noah's Ark team from the bottom of our hearts!

Spektakuläre Lage. Als der Apfelkuchen endlich serviert wurde, dachte ich: Vielleicht schmeckt er ja besser, als er aussieht. Tat er aber nicht. Beim Cappuccino kann man eigentlich nicht viel falsch machen. Eigentlich... aber war das denn für eine Milch?

The atmosphere is very nice, the staff is also nice, but unfortunately the ravioli and tortellini weren't that tasty. The sauce didn't seem freshly made, so we were a little disappointed.

Four of us came here for dinner and left completely satisfied. Many thanks to the entire Noah's Ark team for the delicious food, the attentive and very friendly service. It was a very successful evening for us. We'd love to come back!
