10/10 recommendation! When I am hungover as hell I ALWAYS order kimchi jjigae from them with uber eats and it revives me everytime. I never went there in person but one day I will arrive and thank everybody 🙏

I was about to order food at home but I’m so glad I chose to step outside and walk here. Wawa’s bulgogi-tang is my new favorite comfort food, the meat here is unbelievably tender and the soup is just delicious. On top of the big portion, you’ll get rice and side dishes (banchan): kimchi and kongnamul (seasoned soy sprouts). The guy who attended me was very nice and attentive, he gave me a good recommendation and I got my food super quickly! I finished eating quite late so I couldn’t order any dessert, but that gives me an extra reason to be back soon. I’m curious to try their hotteok ~~ The atmosphere inside felt nice and cozy, but I can’t say much else about it as I sat outside. As the temperatures are still forgiving, the contrast between the chilly air and the hot soup was very enjoyable. Exactly what I needed. I definitely recommend not missing this chance if you happen to be there soonish. The cold is approaching at light speed! Overall super recommended. See you soon and 정말 감사합니다 !

A restaurant with delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere, and excellent service. The menu isn't particularly extensive, but all our dishes were very good. Furthermore, about a quarter of the menu is vegan, which is very commendable. Definitely recommended; we'll be back.

Got recommend from local (korean) if this restaurant tastes from 10 years ago never changed. I tried and mostly German or others europe as a guest, but as people who tried several korean restaurants i can say this is one of the good one. Just focusing on bulgogi is good idea. Love the menu who owner painted that 🩵🩵🩵

Wow.. I ordered beef bulgogi Mittelscharf and pork bulgogi Sehr scharf through a delivery app, and the pork bulgogi is spicy but deliciously spicy! It's delicious with a slight smoky flavor🫰🥹 I like that the rice is black rice, the ssam is clean and nice, and the ssamjang and kimchi are all delicious! I didn't eat the doenjang soup, but my husband enjoyed it😮 I ate it with two bottles of beer and I'm so full👍🤤😮‍💨 It was delicious😊 Really wow~❤️‍🔥

It was too hard to cook in front of the fire on a hot summer day, so I ordered through Uber Eats for dinner. They gave me a lot of ssam, which was nice, and the soybean paste stew wasn't too much, which was nice! Haha There was a lot of meat for a woman to eat alone, but that was also good. The amount of rice was just right, and the seasoning was a bit strong, but since it's a restaurant, I think you can eat it with that in mind!

I had the spicy pork bulgogi – and what can I say: 🔥 simply next level. Tender meat, perfectly marinated, plenty of fire – but not just spicy, but truly aromatic, well-rounded, and authentic. Served with rice, ssam (fresh lettuce leaves for rolling up), and an amazing homemade seasoning paste. This wasn't just a meal, it was an experience. The atmosphere? Warm, modern, Korean. Everything has soul – from the kimchi to the decor. You can tell: Real heart and soul have gone into this place. From now on, this is my go-to place in Berlin for Korean cuisine. Tip: Definitely try the HOT DWEJI BULGOGI – with respect, it's got a lot of punch! 😄 Thanks to the whole team – you're really good. I'll be back. Absolutely. And hungry.

A very nice, authentic restaurant with good food

I ordered and ate for two days in a row because it was a hotel and they even gave me spicy pork bulgogi wrap that reminded me of Korea and soybean paste stew with tofu?! My child ordered Korean food, but I ordered for two days in a row because I missed pork bulgogi! Black rice? 🫶🏻 It really felt like eating a home-cooked meal, so I was so happy.

I don't usually leave reviews... but I'm posting one because the pork bulgogi here is really delicious... I always order delivery and it's really delicious.. They give you soup, lettuce wraps, kimchi, ssamjang... Oh, by the way, there's also kimchi stew in the photo, so they don't give you that..! Anyway, the pork bulgogi is really delicious, everyone, order that...

Very nice owner, Very good bibimbap, fast and professional. Edamame crisper than at other places. Cass is, in my opinion, the best beer there.

you ever just go for a long walk to get lost in a city while looking for a place but you aren’t sure what you are craving until you see it? well it was one of those days. WaWa is a cute family owned Korean restaurant that with food and service transports you to Korean. wow - it’s the best word to use to describe my experience - it’s the first word that truly comes to mind after devouring the spicy pork bulgogi - this dish was exactly what I need and I didn’t know it. Our waiter - M (sorry I don’t know the spelling and refuse to get it wrong) - was so extremely nice and attentive. The Cass Korean Beer was a perfect combination for my food and my partners - hot bulgogi tang (soup). We also tried the Hotok - sweet Korean pancake filled with cinnamon, honey & roasted nuts, with vanilla ice cream on the side. talk about divine and the cherry on top of our meal. from the moment we stepped inside it truly felt like a family experience. Like I was sitting in my grandparents kitchen being feed all the goodies and shown how to eat it correctly. for me as a Latino - this feels like home. Food is family is love. WaWa has that spirit and love. Give them a try! Worth every single penny. They could take all my money and feed me for life. Thank you WaWa! I will be back soon. 11 years and growing strong. 10 out of 10. Give them a star!!

Yeah. It doesn't taste quite Korean. It wasn't as I expected. Nice and friendly staff, but because I wanted to eat something Korean, not something similar, I was disappointed.

I can highly recommend this restaurant. Really good flavors and service was great. We went with our 1 year old and they were very friendly and helpful.

Being a Korean, I have lived in Europe for 7 yrs+ and been to many Korean restaurant in Europe but this restaurant is one of the best genuine Korean restaurants. Strongly recommended!

By far one of the best Korean restaurants I’ve been to, ever. The hot dweji Bulgogi ,the dumplings and soju are absolutely incredible, and the owner kind and sweet energy is unmatched. The menu is beautiful and elegant and full of vegetarian options, teaching you about traditional Korean medicine culture, and the teas, food pairings and overall composition of the dishes reflect the “good and good for you” mentality. I could eat here every day if I could, brilliant overall!!

Don't mind the picture quality, I can here because they serve Hotteok and grab one for takeaway and it was great. Takes just like in Korea

The service deserves a hefty raise. Have been here 3 times now and each time the young man has outdone himself. The food is of course more than good, but how fast, polite and courteous the service is always surprises me. Hats off.

A culinary masterpiece! This restaurant is absolutely top notch! The welcome was warm, the advice was first class - professional, friendly and with a noticeable passion for good food. The dish arrived at the table in perfect condition: fresh, on point and full of flavor. Every bite was a delight! We were here for the first time and can only say: Luckily there are still restaurateurs with so much love for food! Here we don't just cook - we celebrate culinary art here. If there is a scale of 1 to 10, this restaurant deserves a whopping 11.5 points! We’ll definitely be back – preferably tomorrow. Thank you for this taste experience!

The food is very, very delicious! Even people who have just arrived from Korea will fall in love with the taste. It will take a long time, so please order it in advance. Hotteok is also delicious!!

A slap in the face personally. Great discovery with warm and fast service. Be careful, three peppers on the menu are harsh even for me who likes spices 😅. Two is already much more affordable. To tell you the truth, we went back there during our stay because it was our best experience.

Been here several times The food is always delicious, but since it's a small shop it can get a bit noisy when it's full. Be sure to make a reservation, without which you often have no chance of getting a table.

It was a satisfying meal as the kimchi stew and side dishes were neat, delicious, and plentiful. I got the bulgogi to-go, and it was neatly packaged with delicious lettuce and ssamjang, so I enjoyed it even after returning home. It was so delicious and I have no choice but to go again! Since there are a lot of customers coming, I think it would be more convenient to make a reservation. I definitely recommend it!

Super delicious food in a simply furnished restaurant. The service is very accommodating and very friendly. It makes sense to order in advance, we were there without pre-ordering, but we were offered to call us as soon as a table became available. That worked great.

I wanted to eat Korean food in Berlin, so I went there because it happened to be located next to the house I was staying in, and it was so delicious beyond my expectations... The kimchi stew was delicious, just like eating it in Korea, and the pork bulgogi was the best. If you want to eat Korean food, definitely go there <3 Really. It’s Korean food!

Ordered bibimbap alongside hot bulgogi, both dishes were made with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavour, the three level spice is just right, portions were also large and fulfilling. Kind, fast and helpful service. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cosy and chilled out, we made a reservation for 9pm on a Saturday and it wasn’t too busy!

Going out for Korean food? Then off to WaWa! To say it was just perfect still seems like an understatement. The food came super quickly, was very tasty and the drinks were also excellent. You could even order soju 😍 I tried the hotteok (pancake) today and it was simply delicious 😍 really crispy on the outside and super filled. It's always a pleasure to eat with them.

Usually, Korean restaurants have localized flavors, so I don't often review their food, but I felt the most Korean taste at this restaurant. I had a nice, spicy and hearty meal👍

The Kimchi soup is delicious!!!

I had the food delivered, and I’m usually disappointed with food deliveries because it’s often not prepared well. Wawa, though, everything was excellent. They did a great job with the presentation, keeping the food and meat in separate boxes. The meal was delicious, simple, and healthy—not overly sauced, which I really appreciated.

After making an online reservation for 3 people, I was supposed to sit outside on a metal folding chair. Sat for 5 minutes and my butt itched😬. When I asked, the waitress found room inside, but my appetite was gone. The food itself (beef with cheese gratin) was so-so and without any seasoning for my taste. I had imagined it differently.

Highly recommend!!! Tasty beef with noodles pot. It came with a little kimchi. The kimchi tofu soup with pork was good as well as the bibimbpa. I hope I can try the cheese beef.. not enough space for my stomach. Really enjoyed the meal! Very good price as the portion was big.

Extensive menu, the food came very quickly despite being full. Friendly, competent service. In addition to rice, the Cheeze Bulgogi also comes with a small portion of kimchi and a small miso soup, and the meat quality is top. Therefore, the dish is absolutely worth its price. The drink menu also includes 식혜 (shikhye, rice drink) and 수정과 (sujeonggwa, khaki cinnamon drink), which is not a given. Card payment is possible.

Went here with a friend and had a great time. Fairly small menu with the main dishes being bulgogi, bibimbap and a few soups. Personally really loved the signature hot cheese bulgogi! I also haven't really seen hotteok in Berlin much, so was really nice to have it for dessert, incredibly delicious. 잘 먹었어요~

We ended up at WaWa on a recommendation. Online table reservation worked great. The map is small but nice. Tried two starters as a starter, then the main course. Here you are spoiled for choice. Since we didn't know anything, we decided on 3 different dishes. We particularly liked the marinated beef. Super tender and delicious...the soup with it is a matter of taste. The prices are borderline for the size of the portions. But I think I still have to get used to the increased costs in the catering industry. All in all it deserves 4 stars.

Good Korean restaurant with delicious bibimbap, which costs 10 euros as a base (vegetables, rice, kimchi, soup, soy sauce, chili peppers) and can then be pimped with additional ingredients. The extra ingredients cost three euros each: fried egg, tofu, seaweed crumbles, beef, etc. I came to 16 euros with egg and tofu, which isn't particularly cheap, but it's really very good.

The food was very good and the staff was very friendly. Toilet very clean. Ambience simple.

Friday lunch, shortly after 12 we were again the first at Wawa, super friendly crew as usual, we were once again served the vegetarian bibimbap (7.80 euros), with a sip of Coca-Cola light (2, - the 0.2l -glass bottle), perfect.

Wawa makes the best bulgogi in Berlin! And their customer service is just as good as their food! I like to order there via wolt! The quality of the food is sensational! And constantly the same. Thanks to the WaWa team for such delicious food, see you next time

The Bibimbap is delicious, we tried both the beef and tofu version.

The food was bland and the meat was mushy. We ordered spicy. That wasn't it. I can't recommend it. Maybe it was a slip-up.

Cozy Korean place with relaxed vibe and good food. The service was very friendly and surprisingly fast for how busy it was. We had dolsot-bibimbap with different toppings and extra lettuce/ssam. Everything was very fresh and had the right flavours.
