Cute little Korean place. Perfect comfort food for a nice lunch break or something cozy in the evening. Can only recommend to come by for a visit.

Delicious! The service is Indian and exceptionally friendly. The chef is Korean and makes fantastic food. If you're seated in the right spot, you can see into the kitchen and observe the hygienic preparation process and the chef constantly cleaning the work surfaces.

A truly charming little shop with lovely decor! The food (we had bibimbap with chicken and beef) was outstanding – fresh, aromatic, and very tasty. The service was prompt, and the staff incredibly friendly. We felt completely at home. A truly cozy, authentic Korean restaurant that we highly recommend.

The taste is like original Korean food.

Four of us were there on a Sunday at 2 p.m. It's a very small place. The only person serving us was a decent person, and we didn't even ask if we wanted something to eat or drink after 10 minutes. So we approached him, and he was a nice man. Unfortunately, I don't know which vegetables are in a dish with vegetables; it wasn't listed on the menu either. Tastes are naturally varied, but my daughter and her friend, who love Korean food, including me and a friend, didn't finish our meal. When we asked for a receipt, the waiter said, "There's only the handwritten note and the card receipt. If you'd like a proper receipt, please request it via email." Were we in the wrong place at the wrong time?! For the price of the dishes, we'd expect something different.

I was really impressed with Bab & Kimchi! The food was super delicious, especially the kimchi and the spicy sauces, truly authentic. The portions are generous; you'll definitely go home feeling full. The staff was super friendly, and you immediately feel at home. The atmosphere was also great; you could have a nice conversation and enjoy the food. A great place for anyone who loves Korean food. I'll definitely be back!

I highly recommend Bab & Kimchi. The dishes are authentic, the prices are fair, and the service is attentive. We always enjoy visiting this small and cute restaurant. It's wonderful to find such authentic places outside of the crowded neighborhoods.

I went to bab & kimchi and I was absolutely thrilled! My bibimbap was fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious. The menu is small, but that's exactly what makes it special – you can tell that quality counts here. The prices are fair, the lunch menu is great, and the service was incredibly friendly. I'll definitely be back!

A nice little spot to have a low key lunch, Korean food. Bulgogi was nix style, fresh and good. I'd probably like personally the beef more juicy and with more sauce. But it is my personal taste. I also had popcorn chicken, which was very nice of the staff to make me a half size portion without rice as their suggestion and charging me half price only. Very nice and customer oriented. Really loved that they did that and totally did not see this as a problem. It was their initiative. Great flavours, loved the kimchi. Merci

There was excellent food here, with drinks that were, in my opinion, undrinkable. But that's just because I've never tried such soft drinks from Korea before, it certainly tastes better the second time :-) I can definitely recommend it!

Kimchi was quite tasteless and not very spicy. Korean Fried Chicken was lacking sauce and had a soft consistency. The bibimbap had nothing in relation to real bibimbap. The service was rather disinterested.

Bab & Kimchi in Steglitz offers authentic Korean cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. The crispy chicken wings with chopped nuts are a highlight, perfectly complemented by spicy kimchi and fluffy rice. Friendly service completes the experience. A visit is absolutely recommended!

We came across this Korean restaurant through a Google search and we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is small but very cozy. The service was extremely friendly and the food came relatively quickly. It tasted great and you can choose the level of spiciness. I can only recommend.

Very overpriced for the quality of the food and service, the drinks were almost room temperature. Do not get the Glasnudelsalat!! Chewy and overdone noodles in a definitely not Korean-tasting sauce.

Extremely boring taste, the vegan bimbap is completely overpriced. The man who served us didn't know the menu and told us complete nonsense. Only when we insisted did he call someone and ask and only then gave us correct information. Unfortunately, Bab & Kimchi is unsuitable for vegans. We got the dish first, then the drink later. Ginger-lemon tea was not available because there was no ginger. The guests were served from behind: the last to arrive first, then us, then the first to arrive were served last. The waiter seemed completely out of his mind and had no idea - neither about this restaurant nor about gastronomic service in general. There is an extra star because we know that the store also has better service. Based on today's experience alone, we would unfortunately advise against this restaurant. It's a shame as there is a general lack of Korean restaurants. We would like to come back again, but something has to change radically.

The rice and veggies were super dry, and the "scharf" probably was the same as the normal one. No kimchi but some random lettuce instead for the bibimbap. It was far from the "traditionelle" that they advertised. The fact that they had teriyaki at a Korean place was a sign.

The place is not big, so keep that in mind when looking for it because you won't be able to see it until you're in front of it. The Price-quantity relation is less compared to other restaurants. The taste of the food is good. This place is fine to visit if you're craving Korean food or want a quick grab. I think nearby are other options but this is ok as well.

The food has absolutely nothing to do with Korean food. Can only agree with the previous speakers. Sour cabbage (doner kebab style), sticky chicken and overcooked rice. Please don't do this to yourself here. :*

Absolutely some of the worst food I’ve eaten. It was soggy, semi expired greens, bad sauces and generally felt not fresh at all. Dirty place, and really nasty food. Do not eat here. Waiter had dirty slacks on and felt not clean. I feel bad afterwards and my stomach is not doing well. This place should probably close in my opinion. Anyone that has had or cooked bibimbap or similar Asian cuisine knows how it should taste. This bibimbap tasted like a bad supermarket salad with old rice and no kimchi.

The bibimbab was not authentic unfortunately- it reminded me of rice and salad from Döner. It was also slightly sour and the meal was not warm. It was difficult to eat to be honest. The service was friendly

Delicious and authentic food and lovely atmosphere! We stopped at this cosy restaurant for dinner and we really enjoyed it! Food was fresh, authentic and really delicious. It was well priced and the service was lovely too. With the fireplace in the corner made the evening very cosy. The restaurant is tiny with not so many seats, so might be good to call and reserve a table.

Kleines feines Restaurant, das wenig Sitzplatzmöglichkeiten bietet, aber dafür umso besseres Essen. Die Inhaberin war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Wir waren zum Mittagstisch da und haben Bibimbab (einmal Tofu und einmal Hühnchen) und als Vorspeise Kimchisuppe gegessen, das sowohl preislich als auch geschmacklich überzeugt hat. Normalerweise sind wir bei Mittagsangeboten kleinere Portionen gewohnt (d.h. an den günstigeren Preis angepasste Portionen), weshalb wir positiv überrascht wurden. Klare Empfehlung!

Tisch war klebrig und dreckig, das Essen sah toll aus, war aber insgesamt eher sauer (vielleicht eingelegtes Gemüse?). Dafür waren die Preise ziemlich hoch. Haben wir schon deutlich besser zu gleichen Preisen gegessen, schade!

Offenbar werde ich alt, denn „früher war alles besser“ oder zumindest das Bab & Kimchi. Die Atmosphäre war schon immer eher besserer Imbiss als Restaurant, aber dafür war das Essen super und die Preise sehr fair. Die Preise haben ordentlich angezogen und der Service ist leider eher desinteressiert. Essen ist okay, aber nicht mehr so gut wie früher, als ich gern durch die halbe Stadt gefahren bin, um dort zu essen. Kann man machen, ist okay, aber kein Must see.

For those who are looking for a traditional minimalist bibimbap, this isn't the place to go to.

Ein kleiner Imbiss, der hervorragende koreanische Küche zu moderaten Preisen bietet. Die Plätze in sowie vor der Location sind sehr begrenzt. Dafür kann man aber alle Gerichte auch zum Mitnehmen haben oder sich gleich liefern lassen.

Super Essen. Nur leider wenig Sitzplätze.

Die Karte ist eher klein. Aber es gibt auch Kindermenü, was für mich ein Pluspunkt ist. Habe die Suppe mit Schweinefleisch bestellt, ohne bekommen, aber gerechnet wurde es mit, was ich erst später gemerkt habe. Ansonsten essen war gut. Glaube aber nicht dass ich da nochmal gehen werde.

Als ich zum ersten mal bei diesem kleinen doch feinen Lokal war, dachte ich das dies ein korean BBQ war. Doch dies hatte meine Erwartung komplett erstaunt. Sehr einfaches, unspektakuläres Essen. Ganz nett. Kann man sich irgendwie auch selbst zu Hause machen, mit Fleisch besserer Qualität. Für Leute, die noch nie mit koreanischem Essen in Berührung gekommen sind, würden das Lokal vielleicht höher bewerten.

Ich find's richtig schade..das Essen ist teurer geworden und noch dazu hat man weniger auf dem Teller..Es ist kein Problem, dass es teurer wird oder weniger aber beides zusammen löst dann doch schon ein negatives Gefühl aus. Wirklich sehr schade, weil es einfach lecker ist, aber dadurch überlegt man sich die nächszen zweimal, ob man bestellt

Bibimbap fader Geschmack, Gemüsezusammenstellung langweilig- Champignons, Rotkohl, Rucola…?? Koreanisch ist das nicht. Beim Matchaeis vermisste ich den Matcha. Schade, kein Vergleich zu den anderen Koreanern in Berlin, die ich besucht habe.

Had a Bibimpap dish at this restaurant just today, and honestly, for the price it had, I find it genuinely offensive. Tasteless, zero cooking art effort, and absolutely no Korean flavour at all. Unfortunately not recommendable.

I never did this, but the food here was really bad. The bibimbap was just rice with raw vegetable, soya sauce and sriracha. No flavour in any of the dishes. Not Korean food at all. Unfortunately, because the outside area was very cozy and cute. But because of the food I would not recommend at all

Ordered bab trough uber eats. The food was fine but one can clearly see some quality cuts. The whole dish had one half of a mushroom, Ricola (!) and no kimchi at all, just iceberg salad with red dressing. What’s going on guys?

Das Essen hat kranken Geschmack und es sieht auch majestätisch angerichtet aus. Einer der besten Orte in Berlin, wenn man Hähnchen essen will. Verdiente 5/5 Sterne :)

Ich bin von koreanischer Küche normalerweise begeistert, hier war es aber nicht zu empfehlen. Das Bulgogi war leider trocken und leicht zäh, auch die Würze fehlte für mich. Der Service ist nicht sonderlich an Umsatz interessiert, zumindest war er 30 min vor Ladenschluss nicht wirklich gewillt uns noch einen Tisch anzubieten, bis ich selbst auf die Idee kam das Essen mitzunehmen.

Als wir dieses Lokal besucht hatten vor ein paar Tagen, hatte das Essen leider nicht so geschmeckt wie wir gedacht hatten. Das Essen hatte kein Geschmack. Die mehreren Suppen die wir bestellt hatten waren nicht lecker, die mehreren Hähnchengerichte die uns serviert wurden hatten auch nicht. Leider wurden wir sehr enttäuscht von diesem Lokal. Nie wieder.

טעים, נחמד, משביע. אכלתי Glasnudelsalat עם בשר בקר + כוס גדולה של תה עם נענע - שילמתי סה"כ 16.4 אירו. קצת יקר לדעתי, אבל היה טעים אז שווה. Delicious, nice, satisfying. I ate Glasnudelsalat with beef + a large cup of tea with mint - I paid a total of 16.4 euros. A bit expensive in my opinion, but it was delicious so worth it.

Sehr gutes Essen, einfach und keine große Auswahl aber das was es gibt ist super lecker. Holzofen war auch bei dem Wetter sehr angenehm.

Uhhhhh this was fun, spontaneous stop-over looking for a bite. Just off the "Feuerbach-S-Bahn" and a little up from the hectic Schloßstraße. Ordered the Bibimbap and was not disappointed, nice mixture especially when you order the extra egg (which I would recommend you do ;)) Prices are fair, seating is rather limited but service is definately fantastic.

In general it isn't a special place and I wouldn't recommend it. There are much better places in Berlin to eat Korean. I tried the pop chicken, instead of crunchy like it looks, it was really hard. The portions are generous and the price is okay, but the quality is not good enough to make it worth it. My boyfriend chose the crispy wings and thought that the sauce was cloying, too sour compared to other teriyaki sauces we tried. Also the service was a little bit unfriendly and unwelcoming. Food: 2 ⭐️ Service: 3⭐️ Price: 4⭐️

Few weeks ago, there was a maus inside the restaurant. I told the waiter and he called someone on the phone, i guess the owner and that is all. The maus keep running around under the tables like totally normal. I stayed and ate there because I didn't want to be rude and leave. The food was really bad so I decided not going back to that restaurant ever...

Das kleine aber feine Restaurant hat eine kompakte Speisekarte an leckeren koreanischen Gerichten. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und es gibt eine sehr gute vegetarische Auswahl bzw. für viele Gerichte vegetarische Optionen. Die Speisen sind lecker, die Portionen reichlich und das Personal ist stehts sehr freundlich.

Nice and cozy little place with traditional, very authentic-feeling Korean food. Their (Tofu) Bibimbap for lunch is a steal for the price when compared to other places, and a really solid vegan option (there are more). Their walnut tea was also delicious. The atmosphere is warm and homely, with a fireplace in the corner, so even deep in winter the restaurant is toasty warm. It's a shame it's a bit further out from the centre. Definitely worth a visit.
