Mmaah - Korean BBQ Express in Berlin

I've known mmaah for a while now. The food there is always delicious and looks very attractive. I just love it. But it's best to order or pick it up yourself. The ambience on site does not necessarily invite you to eat there. It's better in summer because you can sit outside.

Hotgogi chicken with rice was pretty good. The restaurant looks amazing, love the colors and design.

🙏For having a life-saving toilet in Berlin, which doesn't happen often. I might add that it was very clean, even late in the evening.

Really fast service, nice big store front , easy to spot from street, the food was conveniently priced, which made me think the quantity will be very less so i ordered two, but it ended up being a lot of food, loved the chicken and pork options, some of the bbq sauce was too sweet for me, but i think that's the case of all restaurants here, there was seating inside and outside, but i liked the lighting inside. The kitchen is open so you can see your food being made, which is always a good sign.

I tried the Korean fried chicken with sweet chili sauce over rice. It was very good. I ordered the large size and the portion was perfect. It’s a fast food restaurant which is a great place if you want a quick bite.

If I have to get food for my partner after work, I always come to Mmaah am Nolli. I.d.r. Everything fits too. But a 25 minute wait for a dish? Nothing special or extra. Just one meal. Meanwhile, suppliers are being served and later customers with more than one dish get their food. You first have to come and ask yourself. Strange then it happens within two minutes. The reason? System error… Well, if that happens again, I'll go to another store where I pay €12 (rounded up) for a meal and don't have to wait 25 minutes

Quick service, lots of nice food options and all very tasty!

I had the chili mandu and a side of kimchi. Disappointing. The kimchi tasted more marinated than fermented. Bland. With the mandu, the only flavour was dumpling wrapper and the overused sauces. Filling? Didn't notice its flavour. The slaw the mandu came with was the only part of the mal I enjoyed. Rice was meh.

The conversion was really successful. The food is still very tasty.

Very tasty take-a-way! A good alternative when things have to go quickly. The crispy chicken was super tasty and is also recommended😋 There are two counters where you can order. It's quick and there is an option to sit inside and outside.

Very tasty food! Chicken very good and juicy crispy! Both potato and rice side dishes were very tasty. You can also order at the terminal in German or English. There is seating inside and outside and the street is also very quiet

Nice place, good service and very rich and varied menu.

The food is really good, we went for Crispy Chicken Classic Menu with the side of Veggie Mandu and Special Classic Menu with the side of Beef Mandu. I would recommend this place. The prices are good, we paid total of 28 EUR for two main dishes, two sides and two drinks.

Oh well. Quality and taste, okay. I had the 13, Crispy Chicken Classic. Unfortunately there was hardly any sauce for the chicken pieces, which unfortunately were hardly crispy and there was only a teaspoon of dressing on the salad. So overall it's a pretty dry affair. Ambiance okay, service friendly and fast, typical system catering. For what was offered, it was quite expensive.

Korean fast food. Like McDonald's, only twice as expensive. Don't have high expectations. Very different from normal Korean restaurants. Boring.

Ordered through Wolt, among other things, Crispy Chicken Bites LARGE. But the box was half empty and only had the portion size of the small box. Called there to complain. The person didn't speak German, so we could only talk in English. I should contact Wolt Support. Instead of simply supplying the missing quantity and apologizing. Was my last order!

Super tasty Korean fast food. There are also vegetarian options. The portions are super large and you can freely choose the side dishes. 🤞🏽💋

Very nice little shop, with a nice little seating area outside. The lady on site greeted us warmly when we arrived. The food was very tasty and prepared quite quickly! Lovely again! Can recommend it to everyone!

It was my first time here and I thought it was pretty empty here. Mistake, ordering and paying was quick, it took a while until the food was ready. Food was ok but for €9 I would have expected more. Most of it was dry rice. Otherwise very uncomfortable. Not recommendable.

The food is delicious! The service is super friendly and they are very fast preparing orders. There are baby seats and plenty of space to eat inside and outside the premises. Everything looks very clean.

To be fair, this place has a somewhat large variety of dishes but in the grand scheme of things I’d recommend other Korean restaurants in the Berlin. Mmaah has a McDonald vibes to it, more a fast food taste to it.

Food was delicious. I found the prices a bit high for the quantity offered but it was still reasonable. Staff so nice and accommodating. Payment can be made in cash or by card. You can sit inside or outside. All in all good shop.

It is a small imbiss-like place for a quick bite or pick up. The food was delicious and the portion size M is perfect if you are not starving. They also have option of ordering in size L and XL.

We came here looking for a little something to eat and the presentation and the appealing dishes on the menu made us order here. The food was ready very quickly and it looks just like the advertising pictures. And that's exactly how it tasted. A great chicken teriyaki. I will come here again on my next visit to Berlin.

The food was unexpectedly delicious and aromatic. And for the money you get enough food and a lot of taste. I would recommend this shop to anyone who likes or wants to try Korean food.

The food is super delicious! I never dared to eat Korean because I can't tolerate spicy food. The whole thing is also available here in mild. The combinations are perfect and I'm looking forward to trying more of them. Be sure to try the beef mandus! - The fact that there is a pull-up bar and that you can get something for free depending on the amount of pull-ups you do is also very cool. I really hope that stores will open in Hamburg soon!

It was our first time there and we will definitely come back! Super delicious food and really tasty Korean Ice Tea! The atmosphere is also relaxed and there is cool music playing in the background. :)

Korean-inspired snack bar, part of a small chain in Berlin. The food is tasty, not completely authentic, but pretty good. The prices are very fair. There is some seating inside and outside, but otherwise a lot of ordering and delivery takes place here. Predominantly young, relaxed audience. Recommended!

Food: cheapest meat, rice and a few vegetables. You get finely chopped meat with lots of sauce. Potato slices from the freezer. There's nothing Korean here. Hygiene: Toilet is dirty and old. No tiles, looks like a brothel. If the staff toilet looked like that I wouldn't eat here. All in one: if you want to eat Korean food, you won't get anything here. 1 star because food was warm. But that was it. Seems to mostly only appeal to Lieferando and Wotz customers.

Unfortunately, due to the double burden of delivery service and on-site customers in combination with only 2 employees, the waiting time is far too long...

Mmaah-Korean BBQ Express is the perfect choice for those who have never tried Korean dishes or don't like spicy food, as the spices are adapted to the European palate. In my personal opinion, the potatoes here are particularly delicious compared to other Korean restaurants. The order is placed directly at the checkout and you then wait for the order to be prepared.

Was here again after a while. I'm a bit shocked at the price development. There was a really good menu here a few years ago. Today I paid €14 for a dish plus a drink. That's really too expensive for a snack bar. Nevertheless, I find the dishes super tasty and extremely fresh. I can also recommend the teas.

If you know what is authentic Korean food you will get disappointed. Salty/sweet chicken with mushy rice for almost €10. I feel scammed

Got small portion of chicken bites. Well, it is small indeed: just 4 pieces. While in other Korean places you get double as much and way bigger bites. Could feel old oil taste. Got kimchi as a side as well: tasted like nothing, not spicy at all, very watery.

Threw the food into the garbage.. classic crispy chicken is what I got... just without any chicken basically lol.. the taste was also horrible. Can't speak for the other dishes, but they must be amazing for this place to have such a high rating.

Das Essen war super. Personal war freundlich. Es wirkte etwas unordentlich. Was etwas negativ ist, das die portionsgrößen zwischen Medien und Large kaum ein Unterschied sind. Bei Large sind lediglich etwas mehr Beilagen dabei und 1-2 Stücke Fleisch.

Essen ist durschnitt, nix besonderes und dafür der Preis sehr hoch. Für eine Portion Large 15 Euro ist sehr happig und Portion sehr klein. Dazu sind die Chickenbites mehr Panade als alles andere (s.h. Fotos) Mal schnell was essen, dann ok

Sehr lecker, auf diese Koreanische Küche ist immer verlass. Schnell und lecker zubereite.

Fertigsoßen und keine besondere Qualität. Auf meinem Kassenbon stand "außer Haus", obwohl ich inhouse gegessen habe. Nach dem ich nachfragt habe, kam eine nicht nachvollziehbare Erläuterung. Das Personal wirkte auf mich nervös. Ein Blick ins Internet ergab, dass das Restaurant beim Essen zum Mitnehmen sparen kann. Ich habe aber eindeutig bestellt um dort zu essen und habe es auch getan.

Sehr modernes aber auch einfach gehaltenes Lokal mit schönen Koreanischen Elementen an den Wänden. Portionen könnten größer sein für den Preis. Toll das die Mitarbeiter Englisch sprechen aber Deutsch wäre in Berlin für mich besser gewesen. (Deutsch konnte der Verkäufer fast gar nicht)
