Ogam in Berlin

Good food ,fast service, reasonable price, good selection. We had the Bulgogi Bibimbap and Tebboki which was alright. We also had the kimchi Made which was the highlight and the dessert as well! I also had the Rice drink called Sikhye (I would definitely ask everyone to try this)!!!

Not recommended! The vegan Cupbab now uses dried soy instead of tofu. The dried soy is prepared completely without care; it's just soaked, unseasoned, and unfried. Extremely disappointing compared to the tofu version.

In a city like Berlin, with its countless dining options, I always love returning to Ogam because everything about it is just right. My favorite dish is the beef bibimbap, which has truly never disappointed me. Every single component is fresh and perfectly balanced in flavor; the quality is consistently excellent. I also appreciate that you can choose the spice level of the sauce. It's ideal for those who prefer a milder flavor (like me). The mandu are absolutely phenomenal! I've rarely had them this delicious anywhere else, and I'm certain they're homemade. I've tried several dishes from the menu, and everything has been fantastic so far. In the summer, I especially recommend the cold noodles. Simply refreshing and delicious! The service is always friendly, attentive, and warm, making you feel instantly at ease. A truly wonderful restaurant :) Thank you for the amazing food and superb service!

Best authentic Korean in Berlin!

I've been to Ogam several times and have never been disappointed! The food is truly delicious, the service is very friendly, and there's a wide selection of Korean drinks! I especially recommend the noodles in black bean sauce and the mandu mix. The prices are also really good.

If you're looking for a good Korean restaurant, this is definitely not the place for you. On top of that, the service is totally unfriendly.

Inedible food and a disastrous handling of criticism My bibimbap was a complete disappointment: cold, bland, and served without the usual fried egg. Overall, I didn't enjoy the food at all. Add to that the tiny portions, poor and rude service, no restroom on site, and the inconvenient cash payment – ​​all factors that made the visit even more unpleasant. What disappointed me most, however, was the restaurant's handling of negative reviews. Instead of taking criticism seriously or at least offering a friendly apology, the restaurant often reacts passively and aggressively: You receive snarky comments or justifications instead of admitting or correcting shortcomings. Instead of apologizing to a customer who also criticized the bibimbap, for example, or taking the criticism to heart, the restaurant preferred to condescendingly explain how to eat bibimbap – as if guests who go to a Korean restaurant wouldn't know. This behavior seems unprofessional and off-putting—especially considering that guests are only sharing their honest experience. A restaurant that reacts to constructive feedback like this gives the impression that it has no interest in improving. For me, that's a clear sign that I won't be returning there again.

The bibimbap here was, unfortunately, the worst I've ever eaten. It was neither flavorful nor fully served—even the usual fried egg was missing. Overall, the dish seemed unloving and far from what you'd expect from a good Korean restaurant. A huge disappointment for me, and definitely not a recommendation.

Unfortunately, this was the most boring bibimbap we've ever eaten. We received a rather small, almost cold portion, which could have benefited from a little attention to detail. What a pity.

-1 for no bathroom for customers and -1 for a Naengmyeon (cold noodles) that tastes like sugar water. It's ok, but there are better Korean restaurants in Berlin. It's also commonplace here to tell customers what sauce/flavour you should or shouldn't add to your food.

Simple but tasty, a bit too much gochujang in my dish, we thought the mandu was very good.

Unfortunately, I've been repeatedly disappointed. The dishes look appealing, but taste bland and not flavorful enough. I wasn't allowed to take the sauce placed at the counter because it "didn't go with the dish" – even though it's there for service (with a sign). I've never experienced anything so intrusive. Unfriendly and uncustomer-oriented service. I definitely won't be back.

There are limited seats and no toilet for customers. More like a take out service. Portions are small and the prices are fair. We ordered the vegan nudel soup and vegan cupbap. Nudel soup was just ok and cupbap was good. I recommend Kimchi and vegetable mandu.

Food is tasty. The only minus point is, there is no restroom. So it is better to not plan a long lunch/dinner, but raher quick :).

Been here before when it was cold pasta season. And it is by far the best I have ever eaten. I ordered jajangmyun. Very tasty and simply great value for money. They didn't skimp on the sauce and it was perfectly seasoned.

It’s been a long time since I have ever had any food outside that was totally “BS” free. The food felt like as if the owners have invited me to their place to enjoy their cook. 100% homemade and not trying to be too salty or greasy or sweet to woohoo me. Loved the owners too, kind and real korean people :D Had so much fun, def gonna go back

Unfortunately very small portion. Bibimbap seems to be a cold appetizer here. You can't just take sauces as you please. There's even a sign above the sauces saying you can't use them. Luckily, the service staff mentioned this again when my companion wanted hot sauce so that she only had soy sauce. Never been to such a stingy and embarrassing restaurant

It‘s quite small, just one room, so when it‘s crowed you hear the conversations of everyone. Food is good, service - self service. However there is NO TOILET. Paying only cash.

The noodles with pork belly were swimming in onion, I couldn't even finish it. Cupbap was super dry - when I tried to put sauce on top, the lady at the counter insisted in not the friendliest way that all sauces are already inside. She wasn't much friendlier after that either. The saving grace is that the place is quite cheap - €9-10 per dish, but even so I wouldn't return.

Fast service and delicious Korean restaurant with amazing prices! Finally a place not overpriced that gives you really nice food. They have few but authentic options and for each kind of dish a Vegan alternative! They even have vegan kimchi dumplings. The place is small and it's self service, that's the only "but" they can have.

They have Naengmyeon!!! Not the best but at least they have it. The food is alright. Self service. No bathroom and no card payment.

I ordered cold noodles, bibimbap, and dumplings and the food was clean and delicious, but the service from the woman taking my order was disappointing. There was a child and I asked for a plate to help with the meal. He gave me something like a small side dish and I asked if he had a larger bowl, and he said no. Then, I asked for another small bowl, and he smiled and shook his head as if I was a little embarrassed, which was quite unpleasant. .

Cosy and lovely place serving authentic and affordable Korean meals and snacks. Highly recommend the Bibim-Naengmyeon (spicy cold buckwheat noodles) and Mandu (dumplings) 💚

One of my favourite places to eat in Berlin! Delicious, authentic food with lovely, fast service. The place itself is very simple and unpretentious, and everything feels like it was cooked with love. Only downside is we were turned away for being a group of 5 as they only accept 4 at a time. Sad for families with 3 kids :’)

Our food (2 x Bulgogi) was partly lukewarm to cold. The taste is OK, but the restaurant inside is unreasonable. Poor ventilation and everything was somehow covered in cooking smoke. The tables weren't wiped down and so on, and so on, and so on... What a shame!

Is okay. You can do it sometimes. Price is so-so. Food came very quickly, the rice was pretty sticky. The tea was in a paper cup. The room is terrible. I saw old photos and found it much more pleasant before. Now you feel like you're in a small wooden cube or a small construction container. There is no toilet.

Tiny Korean cafe with a small variety of Korean dishes. Really liked everything, the rapokki isn't insanely spicy if you can handle your spice! Bungeoppang take a while but they're filled really well! Keep in mind it's cash only. The owner is super sweet too, thanks again for the tea on the house <3

I had a pork bowl. The portion size is ok for the price. The food looked very healthy and tasted great. The shop and the food also seem very authentic. All in all, a 9.1/10 for me.

Unfortunately it was such a disappointment. I’ve had really high hopes with all the photos and reviews - it was not what we had. The food tasted like it was microwaved- just lacked any quality. I’ve had a sad portion of bibimbap - you couldn’t even call it a portion. My partner had a noodle dish - the spiciest thing on the menu. The sauce was overly salty , there was heat to it , but had a few pieces of rice and fish cakes and that was it. Just really disappointing. The person who served was very nice ! Also no bathroom to use.

The food is delicious and prepared quickly. However, the guest room has been reduced in size over time with retracted walls and is very spartan. The new "pagers", which vibrate beeping when your order is ready for collection (self-service), create an appropriate background noise. You get food on trays and hot drinks in paper cups, and at lunchtime you also get some food in a cardboard bowl. Personally, the place no longer invites me to linger. If you want to satisfy your hunger in a practical way, it is still suitable for you.

I came here to try the vegan jjajangmyeon, and it was very delicious! The owner was also incredibly friendly. She even gifted me a bung-eoppang (filled waffle in the shape of a fish) that I didn’t order, which turned out to be fantastic. Will definitely be coming again :) The prices are also very reasonable. Almost nothing costs more than 9 euros.

Pongbongbong (grape lemonade) made my day! Also the food came super quick and hot 🔥 Felt pretty authentic and not too pricey. Will come again.

Vegan Jajangmyum was the bomb, Bungeo-ppang was super crispy outside, it tasted even a bit better than I used to have in Korea 😊 Highly recommended if you'd like to try real Korean food! In terms of quality, price and quantity, I don't think any other place in Neukölln matches Ogam.

They refuse to give out tap water. Unacceptable. Additionally, my food was partly cold by accident. I will never go back. Per the reply below, you have no running water???? How can you possibly prepare food safely or wash your reusable plates if you don't have potable running water?

I went there for cold noodles. It is authentic Boonsik (imbiss) style. They only take cash.

Cute little place with delicious food. You can choose how spicy you want your dish and there are many vegan options. The Bibi Naemyong were delicious all around. I also tried the vegan jjajangmyeon which where good, although maybe a bit of savory was missing. Still good 😊 The vegan bibimbap was nice too and I love that you can shoes between three sauces. I recommend the very spicy one if you tend to eat more on the spicy side :). The owners where very polite and friendly. The atmosphere was nice too. You can sit inside or outside. Maybe a bit of decoration is missing. Also when visiting be aware that there's no restroom. In general I truly recommend for a delicious cold noodle dish in the summer. Can't wait to have more 🤗

Very special place, cause it's small and does not look like nothing interesting would be inside. But inside you'll find authentic korean cuisine, which I assume tastes very like home made food. Prices are good. Cold noodles are the best. Portions could be, a bit bigger.

Hier gibt es Korean Streetfood und das ist gut so. Einfaches Essen, lecker zubereitet zu einem guten Preis. Unser Essen hatte nicht ganz die Kraft, wie man es aus Korea kennt aber das ist auch völlig ok, denn Deutsche essen in der Regel nicht so stark gewürzt. Hier hat nichts nach Geschmacksverstärkern oder Fertigprodukten geschmeckt. Es war einfach lecker und wir kommen bestimmt wieder, um das Mittagsmenü zu probieren.

Nachdem ich vor 2 Jahren schon einmal etwas enttäuscht war, wollte ich Ogam (nach der Renovierung) noch eine Chance geben. Die Erfahrung war ähnlich: Das Essen ist okay, schmeckt aber meiner Meinung nach sehr nach Geschmacksverstärker/Fertig-Gewürzpulver. Nichts Besonderes. Der Service ist auch in Ordnung, nicht überdurchschnittlich freundlich. Ich würde mir vielleicht, weil es in der Nähe liegt, mal wieder was abholen (die Preise der Mittagskarte sind sehr fair), kann aber die extrem guten Bewertungen nicht ganz nachvollziehen.

Everything was fine. I liked that the food was different to what I'm used too. I had the onion noodles and felt it could've been more flavorful. It tasted like a good quick home made meal.
