Really bad service we arrived and they didn’t have our reservation, a lot of people waiting for their tables and waiting to pay as well, and the food it wasn’t good neither. The Teotbokki it wasn’t like the Pictures at all, really small and no tasty. We left the place disappointed.

The food was great, but unfortunately the service was overwhelmed and insufficient. And… please pay more attention to clean tables.

I think this is the best BiBimbap in Berlin, authentic💖💖💖

I was here yesterday with my friends, and we were impressed by the quality of the food, especially the variety and excellent taste. We ordered grilled beef, chicken, and pork ribs, which were delicious and incredibly tasty. I will be back because I love the grilled food and the grilled ribs here. I've eaten at many restaurants, but at Madani, the staff were very friendly and the service excellent.

Very good Korean pancake. Soup with fish cakes maybe not exactly my style but very interesting taste. The side dishes are very good. Kimchi soup spicy but also very good.

Unfortunately, we got severe food poisoning from the food. While we were really excited about the food, it hit all three of us during the night, and we were completely laid up with pain, vomiting, and diarrhea. Maybe we were just unlucky… but unfortunately, looking back, I can't say anything good about the place and won't be eating there again.

I went to Madang and had bibimbap. The food was truly delicious, absolutely nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, the service was a disaster: We had a reservation for 8:30 p.m., but the reservation was entered for the wrong day. Even though several tables were already free, we had to wait until about 9 p.m. before we finally got a seat. After that, everything dragged on forever – first we waited forever for the menu, then another very long time for our order to be taken. That's a shame, because the food is excellent, but we won't be coming back because of the poor service.

Waited over 90 minutes for the food, service completely inattentive....

Madang in Berlin is highly recommended! Fresh ingredients, exciting spices I've rarely tried before, and healthy yet incredibly delicious cuisine make this a special visit. Add to that the friendly and welcoming nature of the owners and team. For me, it's a clear 5 stars!

Personal my best place for Korean BBQ with the Grill on the table. Have been there in 2017 and now back in 2025. Still very good place. Very good quality Korean vegetables and nice sauce. Very fresh salads and well formed so that you can eat it easily 😋 recommend

Worst restaurant of my life. Waited 1h15h for our food. Five out of six people in my group had extremely wrong orders and they still charged us for food they didn’t bring us. Someone in my party had a PIECE OF PLASTIC floating around in their soup.

Floor was sticky, menus were grimy. The platter my plate was served on had bits of old crusty food on it. My friend ordered a ginger tea and found 5 little dead fruit flies in it. The waitress apologized and brought a new tea. My friend then found another dead fruit fly in the new tea. Servers were kind.

The drinks where not bad, but the ice tea I got was made with carbonated water, which I personally don't like, and wasn't expecting on an iced tea. The green tea was good, but the teapot had a lot of dust on top, as if it hadn't been used in some time. I also didn't know the kimbap was DIY and I did not like it that way. I would not have ordered it if I had known. The Bibimbap was the only dish that was actually good. It tasted just right, and it came with kimchi as a side dish. The tteokbokki was too sweet (so much so, that I couldn't eat more than two bites and had to leave the rest), the sauce was too watery and it was plated in a flat dish, whereas a bowl, or a deep dish, would have been more comfortable for eating, specially as the sauce was so watery. I do not think the food was really worth the price.

I've been there several times. Friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, and the table grills (for two or more people) are simply delicious and definitely filling.

A really nice restaurant with authentic and very tasty Korean cuisine. The dishes are freshly prepared, lovingly prepared and simply taste great. The atmosphere is cozy and you immediately feel at home. The service is always friendly and attentive, which makes the visit even more pleasant. I always enjoy coming back and can recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for good Korean food in a relaxed atmosphere.

I've been eating there since I was 23/24 years old. And I'm now 37. I think it's nice that I found it at Wolt and can order it too. THIS IS THE BEST KOREAN IN TOWN! A truly authentic Korean restaurant. Thin iron chopsticks, dark cast iron dishes with fire marks, an area to eat while sitting on the carpet, authentic food, choice between fresh and "old" (-> aromatic) kimchi. And there's Maeshilcha (Korean plum tea), my favorite Korean drink!

We had dinner with my girlfriend in February, which was the first time in Madang Restaurant. We ate bibimab. It was so delicious that I fell in love with this food.

I order bibimmyeon (korean spicy cold noodles) 13-14€ and what I got is instant noodle which cost like 1,50€ per package with 1 egg, I expected and was so excited for the food since not every korean restaurant have authentic bibimmyeon but the way they served me instant noodle really make me disappointed, if they gonna do it like this, they should have wrote it in the menu so people wouldn't be disappointed amd waste their money like me

Me and my girlfriend jumped in spontaneously and it was the best decision we ever made. The atmosphere at DWS restaurants is very pleasant and welcoming. The service was polite and quick and the food was authentic and tasty. It is not only a good date sport, but also a good place to meet up with friends. the portions are large and good for sharing. In addition, the manager is super nice and likes to give out things. Definitely a hidden gem.

The food is spectacular, anyone who likes spicy is great, you can tell that everything is done with passion.

We were guests at “Madang” with 4 people last Saturday. The menu is well structured and contains something for everyone, all the classics are there. The food tasted really good. I would say that the store's biggest strength is definitely the traditional cuisine. The price is “okay”, but you have the feeling that you are paying a similar amount as in more modern, “hip” restaurants, even though you are dining here in the “old-fashioned” category. Unfortunately, the service is really not good, we waited almost 40 minutes for drinks, 20 minutes of which were until someone had the idea to ask us if we wanted drinks. Since it is extremely drafty on cold days, we asked if we could change places. The reason for this didn't really resonate with the employees due to the language barrier. In general, you have to say that the guys weren't really paying attention. We ordered extra glass noodles for the main course, which never arrived, but were billed for. Being told about a 10% tip when paying doesn't make it any better. All in all okay, I wouldn't go there again.

I had made a long-term reservation for six people in writing, but unfortunately they couldn't remember it at the agreed date! So we and the family were left without a reservation and had to leave! Very annoying! There was nothing more than a shrug of the shoulders in response from the staff! It's a shame and very unsatisfactory

It was a bit cold when we were there, but that may have been because we were the only ones there at lunchtime. The food was super tasty and, in my opinion, authentic and beautifully prepared. We had kimbap (which you had to put together yourself) and the pork belly hot pot. Definitely very filling!

A small cozy Korean resto with very kind and friendly owner ☺️ food is good especially the 해물파전 (seafood pancake). I would prefer my kimchi jjigae to be more sour tho, and 찜닭 to have stronger sauce as it’s a bit bland But overall good experience and I will come back to try more!

The food is absolutely delicious, I highly recommend the dumplings (Mandu). The staff is courteous and friendly, though they seemed a little bit unorganized at times. I came alone and was offered a seat at a small table, then shortly after, a family of 8 entered the restaurant (they had a reservation) and the staff moved me to another seat. Then I was moved back to my original seat because the family liked to sit at the table where I have been moved 😅 It was nothing that bothered me personally, I'm just mentioning it because I think this is something which could be improved. All in all, the restaurant is great 👍🏼

Extremely disappointed with everything!!! Our order was forgotten, and we had to wait over 40 minutes before we even got a response. The waiter was rude and didn’t seem to care. We didn't get an apology either, only the comment "it's chaotic in the kitchen right now". I wouldn't go there again.

It was a great evening with a nice selection of dishes. The HotPot was more than spicy and something must have gone wrong with the communication, but that was compensated for with all the other delicious things. We will definitely be coming back again soon.

Very tasty food and we loved their service style. Their main courses which included a huge platter with kimchi and picked veges on the sides are super recommended however i didnt like the fried chicken or vegetarian pancake as they were too oily for me. The outlook needed a bit update as we could see spider web just behind our table. The staff was super friendly.

Kimchi stew... It was like kimchi soup without any rich flavor, no meat, only fat, and the rice was dry as if it had been made yesterday... However, it was nice to see the German couple across from me eating delicious bibimbap with affection. Since you are doing business in an unfamiliar foreign country, I give you a high rating. It's a rare find, to have amazing Korean food while traveling in Europe. But this place made me so happy! I'm a truly spoiled eater since I've grew up with one of the best Korean chef's, so i often feel very disappointed. But this place is definitely worth a visist!

This is truly the best restaurant. I really wanted to eat Korean food, and this is a place where my wish came true. The stone pot bibimbap is delicious and the kimchi stew is also delicious. The miso soup was also delicious!! The owner was very friendly and the store was very cute. This is a place I want to go one more time before I go to Korea!!

When I went to eat it at the store, it was so cool that I ate it all up. I had stone pot bibimbap, which you can't get through delivery, and it tasted different from the basic places in Berlin (they put pickled radish inside, large beans, etc.). It's a bit difficult to get it from home, so I think I'll mainly buy it through delivery from now on, but anyway, I highly recommend it. ------‐----------------------------------------- These days, I'm obsessed with side ribs, so I keep ordering and eating them. It's delicious! Duruchigi is also delicious with just the right amount of fire! Just once, I received a particularly small portion of the entire menu (even the side dishes were small...). Does that happen if I order too late? ㅜㅜ -------------------------------------- it is delicious. Gogalbi, it was really delicious without any fishy smell, and the kimchi pancake was also delicious. Personally, I thought the japchae was a bit spicy, but it was okay.

Absolutely phenomenal korean food. We had spicy pork belly and squid cooked on the table and a plate of cheese tteokbokki: both were amazing. But the tteokbokki was incredible. I can't wait to go back and get it again. Everyone working there was friendly and attentive. Make sure to get some soju for "dessert". Edit: still coming back, still the best. The mackgeolli is worth a liter.

In my eyes this place is overrated. Ordered Bibimbap with beef meat but I find it cheap that it was served with mincemeat. Card payment possible when minimum 50 Euros. In 2024 who is carrying 50 Euros in their pocket??

Amazing Korean restaurant! With really authentic grill

The food was much more delicious and authentic compared to many other Korean restaurants. We also received a very warm farewell from the owner and employees.

I need to try other dishes like the bbq or the bulgogi. I liked the fact that the food was spicy at the Korean level. I ate this dish for the first time with steamed potatoes and carrots/onions. I was surprised that Koreans eat it this way too. I miss the Korean setup with private cabins, soju and people eating for hours. I didn't spot a single Korean in the evening. Finding a good Korean restaurant in Berlin remains a challenge. Additionally, the inconvenience of this restaurant having a 50€ card limit, despite accepting card payments, seems unreasonable. While I understand the need to offset bank commissions, it would be more customer friendly if they absorbed the cost instead of imposing a minimum spend. I had to go to the ATM because of this.

The best Korean food I've ever had! Super tasty bibimbap and everything else authentically delicious too. Unfortunately, the service wasn't completely satisfactory... We couldn't order for a long time, then waited 10 minutes to pay until we had to stand in line to pay. But because of the great food, 4 stars anyway, as that's definitely not the normal case with the service. Still had a nice evening and might come back again.

Haven't been to Korea yet but compared to everything I know about Korea, this place seems quite authentic! Also very friendly staff and great food! Some vegetarian options and cosy atmosphere.

Ich habe an dem Tag meinem Freund zum koreanisch essen eingeladen, da er noch nie Bibimbap gegessen hatte. Ich dachte, dass das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis übereinstimmen würde. Leider bekam ich nur Bibimbap serviert, obwohl ich sowohl auf deutsch, als auch auf englisch bestellt hatte, da die Kellnerin nicht so gut deutsch verstand ( was nicht schlimm ist!) . Auf die Frage, wo das Essen von meinem Freund blieb, entschuldigte sie sich und wartete 20 min. bis mein Freund auch sein Essen bekam. Ich war sehr traurig, darüber dass das Bibimbap sehr dezent gehalten wurde. Die Sauce hatte einfach nur scharf geschmeckt und es waren sehr wenig Toppings dabei. Die Salatbeilagen waren in Ordnung, jedoch nicht besonders, auch sehr wenig, extra besonders klein geschnitten, damit es viel ausschaut.

Der Besuch bei Madang war der Hammer! Ich hatte die Rippchen (F4)und es war einfach der Hammer, die Potion für den Preis war eine 10/10. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! 🤩

Service könnte besser Deutsch können und Ambiente nicht so meins. Insgesamgt jedoch sauber und ordentliche. Waren als Gruppe da und alle sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen und größe der Portionen. Ich selber hatte kein Essen, meine 5 Sterne fürs Essen beziehen sich aufs Feedback der 6 anderen Freunde die da waren.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Wir hatten die Feuerplatte mit dem scharfen Fleisch und die Feuerplatte mit dem Schweinebauch und Tintenfisch. Ich finde die Art es zu essen schwierig, ohne sich komplett einzusauen und ich finde es unverschämt, dass weitere Salatblätter (mit denen man es essen soll) etwas kosten, man aber nur 5 Stück pro Feuerplatte bekommt.

Bulgogi and seafood pancake were quite good. There was another dish with rice, pork, and gochujan (3rd photo) - that has not impressed.

Et udmærket koreansk restaurant, hvor vi fik nogle udmærkede velsmagende retter efter en kort ventetid. Betjeningen var dog mere end almindelig forvirret og havde lidt svært med at finde rundt i, hvem der bestilte hvad.

Bibimbab vegetarisch und ein Cass draußen im Sommer genießen. Im Winter aber auch echt zu empfehlen. Nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Ich komm gerne wieder.

Das absolut beste Koreanische Essen, dass ich je hatte. Man schmeckt, dass hier mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail und großer Hingabe gekocht wird. Die einzelnen Komponenten des Bibimbap waren so gut gewürzt und so liebevoll angerichtet. Wir kamen sehr spät und haben problemlos noch einen Tisch bekommen. Als ich gezahlt habe, hat mich der Koch, ein älterer eleganter Herr, besorgt gefragt, ob uns die Kimchi-Suppe zu sauer war. So viel Aufmerksamkeit habe selten in einem Restaurant erlebt. Ich weiß wovon ich spreche, da ich selbst Köchin. Absolut begeistert! Ich komme wieder!

Mega gut aber schärfe Stufe 2 ist schon scharf man muss sich den bewusst sein

We waited an hour for the food. 5 Guests that came after were served before us, Food was not worth the wait and stress. After two hours of this experience in total, I can't recommend this place. Maybe they had a bad day who knows.

Beilagen zum Binimbap warn sehr gut, auch der Dattel Tee war lecker.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Platz für zwei Personen inmitten eines romantischen Blumenbeetes und abseits anderer Tische und Gäste. Das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Ebenso, wie der Service. Alle Mitarbeitenden waren sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Auch das Essen (wir hatten beide Bibimbap) wurde ästhetisch angerichtet. Was schön fürs Auge war, enttäuschte aber leider im Geschmack. Während die marinierten Beilagen überaus lecker waren, fehlte es dem Hauptgericht an Geschmack. Obgleich es 7-9 unterschiedliche Gemüsesorten waren, gaben diese leider nicht viel her. Die rote Soße trug zudem dazu bei, dass das Gericht insgesamt versalzen und eintönig schmeckte. Das kennen wir von anderen Koreanischen Läden anders. Also wärmste Empfehlung für Bibimbap Liebhaber*innen von mir: lasst die Soße weg und ihr habt schon mal etwas dazu gewonnen! :)

솔직히 프랑크푸르트에서 살아서 그런지 다르다는 걸 알 수 있었네요. 거미줄도 있고 식탁은 찐득찐득해서 아들은 밥도 안먹고 차로 가버리고 다들 먹는둥마는둥 하고 나왔네요. 사장님같으신데 친절하시긴 했지만 너무 오랜된 재료로 음식하신듯해서 먹기가 힘들었네요. 비싼데 너무 형편 없었던 곳이었습니다. 왠만하면 다 좋게 써 드리는데 이건 너무했다싶네요. ㅡㅡ

Ich habe hier zum ersten Mal Cheese Tteokbokki gegessen und wurde nicht enttäuscht, außerdem war der nette Herr, der uns bedient hat (glaube ist auch der Besitzer) super freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir werden definitiv nochmal kommen und andere Gerichte testen!✨

Cozy vibes, good food, and lovely owner! Went with 1 Korean and 1 non Korean friend. He actually came over to explain how to wrap the meat in the lettuce etc to our non Korean friend - super cute! Apart from that we enjoyed all the food very much incl. the variety of side dishes. Def authentic! Chicken was fried very well and crispy and the meat was also very yummy and cutely presented :) we had the fried chicken and spicy pork but will be back to try more in the future!

I ate Doenjang and Sundooboo broth here. It was absolutely same as eating at Korea. Main chef was really kind. 된장찌개, 순두부찌개 먹었습니다! 정말 집에서 먹는 듯한 든든함이 너무도 행복했습니다. 사장님께서 너무 친절하게 응대해주신 것이 좋았습니다. 공기밥 3공기씩 먹고 나왔습니다. 가격대도 괜찮고, 양도 충분히 잘 나옵니다. 현지 분들께 추천합니다😀

forse il cibo coreano non fa per me o allora qui si mangia davvero male. il locale è sporco, c'è odore di chiuso e il cameriere per quanto gentile fuma durante il servizio e ha le scarpe zozze... il piatto che ho preso era un miscuglio di sapori mescolati con un riso stracotto. inoltre ha prezzi alti.

Most dishes are really authentic and delicious. Cheese Teobokki was too sweet and hat lots of unnecessary vegetable. And not much cheese. For €13,50 way too expensive. The DIY kimbap starter with very crispy nori was a highlight! The kimchi jeon (pancake) was too oily. But the bibimbap had actually burnt and crisp rice:) All in all a decent Korean restaurant.

Very good, genuine Korean cuisine at a fair price. I’ve been dropping in here now and again for years; was one of the only places in Berlin offering Korean food. Negative is that the surroundings are threadbare, showing it’s age rather than it’s charm.

Chicken war echt lecker, Beilagen hingegen aber nicht. Bier war lauwarm und das Personal ein bisschen neben der Spur. Nicht empfehlenswert.
