We go every visit to Stuttgart .Now 5 times over 12 years. Cozy location inside and stunning view tables outside. After a walk in the forest or just a car ride for the view,7 Linden is a perfect spot for a classic Swabian hearty meal. Prices are reasonable,portions classic swabian ( large) and taste is spot on. Good spatzle,as well as options for all veges and meat eaters too.

Too expensive for self-service!

Incredibly good food for a forest tavern (also a variety of vegetarian alternatives, which are really great)! Also the preserved jars, e.g. veggie Bolognese or veggie gravy for home - delicious! Always a little highlight :))

The best schnitzel in a long time. Nice and juicy and thick as a finger. The sweet potato fries are to die for and the sausage salad is already dressed with herbs. A little gem...

Great food, world class service! You could also give 10 stars here! Very child-friendly and uncomplicated, but still quick and attentive. Food also tastes delicious. The food menu is small but nice with a large selection of wines (unfortunately I can't rate the quality). The portions are generous and you'll feel full! Location is okay but very well located. In summer it is almost besieged by cyclists and hikers. Unfortunately a bit outdated but well maintained and clean. Be sure to reserve well in advance for several people.

A bit hidden for non-residents and not accessible by car. However, great view, cozy atmosphere, very friendly service inside, outside is self-service The roast is of the best quality, so even the long journey is worth it

Beautifully located Waldschenke with a beer garden and very good Swabian cuisine. Charming and originally furnished restaurant. I always enjoy coming here. The Kaiserschmarren is on the menu, but it's usually not available, it's super tasty😋 Addendum from May 2024: The boss was very moody and the schnitzel with fries were carelessly prepared. The portion was very small and the price was high🤷‍♂️. It's a shame, I actually like coming here.

Excellent onion roast, delicious beer and everything in the countryside. Beer benches or directly on the meadows, very pleasant on the edge of the forest. Every now and then a few llamas and alpacas come by and take a rest. Therefore always a great stopover on a forest hike. Addendum: Tried Cordon Bleu today, it was OK, but nothing more. Like something out of a standard cookbook and unfortunately not baked in clarified butter. The radish in the salad was heavily soaked in garlic seasoning. It's a shame there's no more mountain beer

My favorite place in Stuttgart! I came from the USA to see my family, we always love to come here. The owners are like family. The food is amazing, like you would expect in a Michelin star restaurant.

Es gibt keine bessere Küche in einer Waldschenke als in den 7 Linden hoch über Uhlbach. Das Wirtspaar lebt und liebt seine Rolle als Gastgeber mit einer hochqualitativen Speisekarte und einem tollen Sortiment zum Mitnehmen. Ich bin immer sehr begeistert und meine Begleiter ebenso.

Beautiful garden restaurant with a view

A great shop in a good location, great in summer to sit outside and enjoy the sun and view. There are very great and tasty dishes on the menu, I tried the others. Unfortunately I have to deduct a point because the meal took half an hour when there wasn't that much going on. Otherwise great and keep it up.

We like to stop here after a hike. The food is always a pleasure, the chef regularly adds variety to the menu, and we even think of us vegetarians. The service is friendly, even at peak times, and the atmosphere is rustic and cozy. Clear recommendation!

Good forest restaurant with great homemade food, the Maultaschen and the potato salad are a poem, on the weekend when the weather is nice it is quite full, but you can still get the food relatively quickly. I'd love to come back.

Yesterday we ate the Maultaschen to take away that we bought after lunch last Sunday (it was delicious, great and very friendly service). They tasted great! The best we had ever eaten!

Easy 5 for what it is. Just "behind" the Kappel and Rotenberg a lovely treat to grab some food and a drink with a view. The "zucchini taler" are extra delicious and juicy. The Cordon Bleu and salad been on point too. Super friendly suff too. Might take a lil while till the food appears but you can chill relaxed in the meanwhile :)

It was really nice today. However, I recommend that you reserve a seat before you come, as it is often very full. The food also tasted great and the staff was friendly too. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Well, luckily the fried potatoes ran out late in the evening, just before the kitchen closed. So I decided against schnitzel with fried potatoes and opted for the breaded oyster mushrooms with savoy cabbage and risotto. A poem! Not only are the classics always good, the vegetarian dishes in particular always surprise me in a really positive way. Today was wonderful again, honestly!

An insider tip in the Stuttgart area. The roast is brilliant and the sauce is unique. But the other dishes such as the Maultaschen and the potato salad are also highly recommended. The innkeepers and staff are very friendly and you feel very comfortable with them. Great attention is also paid to allergies and intolerances.

Wir sind so glücklich das wir die Waldschenke7Linden entdeckt haben. Der Weg dorthin ist traumhaft schön. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend. Das Essen ist einfach fantastisch. Die Gastgeber sind so herzlich, wie ich es mir nur wünschen kann. Alles passt einfach zusammen, besser geht es wirklich nicht. Wir waren für zwei Tage in Stuttgart und waren zweimal in der Waldschenke. Danke Eva!!!

Wunderschön gelegen, in den Weinbergen mit einem grandiosen Ausblick auf Landschaft und Stuttgart. Der Service ist wunderbar, die Wirtin selbst kann bei Essen- und Getränkeauswahl perfekt beraten und gibt einem das Gefühl man kenne sich schon länger. Das Essen war einfach fantastisch! Schwäbische Küche at it's best! Schade dass wir nur auf der Durchreise waren, hierher würde ich immer wieder kommen! Preis-Leistungsverhältnis 1A mit Sternchen!

Idyllische Waldgaststätte. Hervorragendes vielfältiges Essensangebot, frisch, großzügige Portionen, hausgemacht. Alle bekommen das Essen zur gleichen Zeit, das beherrscht nicht jeder Gastronomie! Bedienung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ganz großes Lob an den Koch (Chef) ihr seid spitze... Danke!

Están faltos de personal. Pedimos Spätzle y una patatas fritas y tardaron más de una hora. Se te quita hasta el hambre. Y eso tras una buena cola para pedir.

La comida está bien, pero el tiempo de espera ha sido inaceptable. 20 minutos en la cola para pedir para pedir (autoservicio) y luego hora y media hasta que sacaron el pedido. Si no fuera porque hay que pagar por adelantado, nos habríamos marchado.

Schöne Aussicht über Uhlbach und Stuttgart. Essen gibt es im kleinen, aber feinen Restaurant. Im Sommer und im Herbst besonders empfehlenswert.

Schöner Biergarten mit guter Küche aber 1 Stunde anstehen ist definitiv zu lange.

Ich bin im Biergarten gesessen, über das Lokalinnere kann ich nichts sagen. Es ist jedenfalls ganz nett in dem Biergarten und es sind auch relativ viele Sitzplätze vorhanden. Zum Service: Selbstbedienung, aber sehr freundliches Personal. Das Essen hat mich leider nicht so überzeugt, war ok.

Sehr nette Location in den Weinbergen und am Wald gelegen laden zum verweilen und ausspannen ein, hier gibt es eine kleine nette Auswahl an schwäbischen Gerichten, die Maultaschen und die Fleischküchle sowie der Kartoffelsalat sind ne Wucht, werde wieder kommen und noch mehr von der Speicherkarte ausprobieren

Für eine Waldschänke sehr gute Speisen und Getränke. Die Wirtsleute sind sehr freundlich. Am Waldrand gelegen mit toller Aussicht über die Weinberge ins Neckartal. An heißen Sommertagen sitzt man auf einfachem Gestühl unter großen Bäumen, herrlich kühl. Der kleine Gastraum hat Hüttenatmosphäre. Immer einen Besuch wert.

Wunderschöner Ort lädt ein zu einem Essen. Von dort aus kann man wunderschön wandern.

Schöner Biergarten. Käsespätzle schön angerichtet in der Pfanne, war aber nach meinem Geschmack zuviel Käse.

Sehr gute Küche. Für Wanderer und Radfahrer gut zu erreichen. Allerdings ein paar Hoehenmeter sind schon zu bewältigen. Viele schattige Plätze im Freien. Öffnungszeiten beachten!

Sehr idyllischer Biergarten in sensationeller Lage mit wunderschöner Aussicht. Sehr freundliches Personal. Preise für Essen und Trinken sind sehr gut.

Gehört zu den schönsten Plätzen in Stuttgart. Dazu noch heimischer Wein, Bier vom Fass und leckeres Essen. Deshalb gibt es auch oft lange Schlangen an der Ausgabe. Das wissen aber alle, die regelmäßig herkommen.

Während einer Fahrradtour oder Wanderung ein guter Zwischenstop. Essensauswahl ist gut oder einfach mal ne Rote Wurst vom Grill gegenüber.

Kurze Wartezeit, leckere selbstgemachte Maultaschen und ein sonniges Plätz'le. Liegt ideal an einer Wegkreuzung vieler Rad-/Wanderwege. Gerne wieder.

Ich habe während einer Radtour Rasrt in 7 Linden gemacht. Die Bratwurst war auf dem Grill gut gebraten und würzig. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Schade, dass es einen Betreiberwechsel gibt.

Top wie immer , leid mussten wir erfahren das die Waldschenke verkauft wird und so vermutlich nicht mehr weiter geführt wird ...😐😔 Sehr traurig

Schnitzel kommt zwar höchstwahrscheinlich aus der Fritteuse, schmeckt aber ganz ok. Pommes dazu sind gut. Die bessere Wahl sind die hausgemachten Maultaschen. Ansonsten ein schöner Ort mit ruhigem Biergarten und tollem Ausblick auf Stuttgart

Super freundlich, alkoholfreies Weizen vom Fass - super nette Wirtsleute und natürlich ein super Essen. Seit Jahren machen wir auf unserer Segwaytour hier eine Pause und bislang waren alle unsere Gäste mehr als begeistert. Man sitzt hier sehr schön, vermutet aber sicher nicht die Qualität des Essens - hier wird ehrlich gekocht und das auch noch superlecker - weit entfernt von dem, was man so von anderen Waldschenken oder Biergärten gewohnt ist. Hier setzt man auf Qualität und das ist der springende Punkt - der Begriff "Manufaktur" ist voll berechtigt für die hausgemachten Maultaschen und Fleischküchle. Hier gibt es vor allem auch für Vegetarier super leckeres mit Liebe gemachte Speisen.
