Walch Catering Öffentliches Restaurant in Heusenstamm

Today, five of us went to eat at Maya again. We ordered three vegetarian dishes and two chicken dishes. Freshly prepared, steaming (pleasantly hot), and beautifully presented plates of food were brought to our table. The service was also excellent :) The price was very reasonable. We'd be happy to go again!

I was a frequent customer before the change of ownership. But Saturday, October 31, 2025, was absolutely disastrous. I wanted a small glass of water with my espresso, which I unfortunately couldn't drink (it was so bad!). The rather unenthusiastic waiter kept saying "hot water" instead of "small glass." He also didn't speak German. After much back and forth, I finally got a glass of tap water. The price for the bitter black coffee, not even close to the price of an espresso, was €2.70. I had also ordered bruschetta. Well, they're Indian, not Italian. All in all – never again!

Good food. Friendly staff. Insufficient heating.

Great food, pleasant atmosphere. Great prices, would definitely go again.

I've always found the food here delicious and have never had any problems. For anyone wondering why it's still closed, the renovations, which have apparently been ongoing for several months, are probably due to food inspections.
