I ate there again after a long time. The food was good, the service was good, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I can recommend the Old Train Station.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the previous review. The breakfast buffet was okay. Standard. The waiters seemed unmotivated; nothing came of their own accord. The floor outside could have been swept, the tables were nicely set, and the place was lacking plants. It was rather unloved. There are simply better Sunday alternatives.

The food was fresh and appetizingly presented. If you sit in the wrong seat, the waiters sometimes overlook you. Otherwise, the staff were very friendly and respectful. The dog was given a bowl of water.

It was quite nice, but unfortunately there were no plant-based alternatives. Neither oat milk (it should really be possible to get your coffee with oat milk everywhere by now...) nor a great plant-based selection at the breakfast buffet (jam, grilled vegetables, cucumber and tomato, rolls). Even for someone with a "normal" diet, I found it rather meager; for the price, you expect significantly more selection and variety. The service was nothing special; some things arrived late, and the service was rather inattentive. All in all, nothing special, and definitely no reason to repeat the food. Maybe for a soda sometime.

Unfortunately disappointing. The taste of the food was okay, but the price-performance ratio was no longer right at all. For the price I would have expected more than just four asparagus spears on the plate. In addition, there were rather unfriendly looks from the staff - you don't really feel welcome. It's a shame, it used to be better.

We were there for breakfast in April 2025. For EUR 20 per person a ridiculous selection! We paid a total of EUR 62 each for 2 mini cappuccinos and an O juice (not freshly squeezed). Then in the future I'd rather go to a great hotel and have breakfast there! It may cost a little more per person, but then everything is included and, above all, there is a much better selection available!

I've been there several times with friends and my wife and have never been disappointed. Every time we ate very well with great service. I also think the ambience is really good.

Das Restaurant liegt, wie der Name schon sagt, direkt am Bahnhof und ist daher sehr gut mit der Bahn zu erreichen. Die Innenausstattung hat uns sehr gut gefallen, vor allem die riesigen Deckenlampen. Toll! Auf der Speisekarte gibt es jede Menge deutscher und indischer Gerichte. Wir hatten Hühnerbrust in Cashew-Sauce mit Reis und Paprikaschnitzel mit Pommes und Salat. Beides schmeckte vorzüglich. Die Portionen waren reichlich und das Essen war auch sehr lecker angerichtet. Der Service war freundlich und sehr nett. Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder einmal hierher kommen!

A very nice restaurant, rustically decorated, with a varied menu. In summer you can also sit outside. The connection to public transport is also ideal; the S-Bahn towards Dietzenbach or Frankfurt can be reached on foot in just a few minutes.

We have been there several times, including for breakfast. The food is very good, regardless of whether you prefer Indian or other. Unfortunately, the waiters don't always listen properly, so 1 star is deducted. Otherwise recommended, especially in summer when you can sit outside and the fountains are on. Free parking spaces are available, if you come by public transport that's no problem either, the S-Bahn stops right there and the bus station is also in this area.

Unfortunately, the size of the restaurant makes it a bit uncomfortable when it is empty. We used to love going there for dinner. However, the taste of this food (dishes other than the Indian offering) no longer impresses us after the change in ownership. After we were greeted warmly and quickly placed our order, the food came quickly and fresh. Here, too, as unfortunately in many restaurants, no waitress comes by after the meal to ask for more drinks, so you have to go home early. Wasn't it like that you make money through drinks 🤔??

We celebrated New Year's Eve there for the fourth time. It was very good again. The buffet was delicious and the service couldn't have been better. The atmosphere was very good and the dance floor was rocked by Music on Tour (Hans and Roland). We can only recommend it. Many thanks to everyone who gave us a good start to the new year. Friday the 13th what went wrong? The reserved table wasn't free, so we had to wait almost an hour. But the efforts and helpfulness of the management, the very good quality of the food and not forgetting the charm of the very committed and motivated waiter made the evening a little more enjoyable let it be good. Saying goodbye to guests in a good mood is a small art. The big thing is to be able to say goodbye to guests in a bad mood in a good mood. And “Ash” managed to do that despite the full house. Super tasty, always happy to come back

Sehr unfreundlich wenn man mit einem Baby zum Essen kommt. Man wird in eine Ecke gesetzt, dunkel und im Zug, Hauptsache man stört die anderen Gäste nicht mit dem Baby. Dabei war unser Zwerg zu keinem Zeitpunkt laut. Ständige Blicke auf unseren Kinderwagen und die mehrfache Bitte den wegzubringen. Aber den braucht man nun mal. Die Gäste haben sich zu keinem Zeitpunkt gestört gefühlt. Im Gegenteil. Wir mussten auch ewig warten bis wir bestellen "durften". Normalerweise trifft man immer Menschen, die mit dem Kinderwagen behilflich sind, wenn es um Treppen geht. Hier wurde uns weder Tür aufgehalten noch die Treppe runter geholfen. Im Gegenteil, man wurde noch verachtet. Sehr, sehr unfreundlich. Dass war unser letzter Besuch dort und ich würde es keiner Familie mit Baby empfehlen. Am liebsten hätten sie uns schon an der Tür abgewiesen. So etwas habe ich noch nirgends erlebt. Vielleicht mal darüber nachdenken ob man mit dem eigenen Kind auch so behandelt werden möchte!!!

One or two employees shouldn't wear so much intrusive perfume!

This time there was apparently no side salad with the senior schnitzel. Without salad the price is absolutely exorbitant. Unfortunately, these “delivery fries” are served with all dishes here. These taste hard and stale on site, as they should still be crunchy in the Styrofoam box at home. You should urgently switch to normal fries. These are also cheaper to purchase.

Chic restaurant. Very friendly service staff and delicious food. We were eating there with three people and two dogs. We had an overnight stay in a nearby hotel and just wanted something to eat.

Von außen wirkt das Lokal wirklich schön. Innen wirkt es schon mehr wie aus dem System Gastronomie Einrichtungskatalog. Das Lokal hat keinerlei Charme und keinerlei Atmosphäre. Draußen tranken wir im Sommer öfters mal einen Cocktail, aber drinnen ist wirklich gar nichts schön. Die Karte besteht aus allem (indisch, italienisch, deutsch, Burger, Flammkuchen, Schnitzel, Steak und die typischen Salate deutscher Gastro), was sofort zeigt, dass hier praktisch nur fertiges convenience Essen warm gemacht wird. Die größte Anzahl an Gerichten ist indisch und es scheint sich um Inder o.ä. zu handeln, die das Lokal betreiben. Auch das indische Essen ist reines convenience Essen oder so schlecht gemacht, dass es nach convenience schmeckt. "Saag Lamm" (Nr. 86) - "Lammfleisch in einer Spinat-Currysauce" laut Karte - besteht aus großen völlig mageren Lammfleischstücken, die faserig und trocken sind und wie ausgekochtes Suppenfleisch vom Rind schmecken. Die Sauce kann nur eine Fertigpampe sein, in die die minderwertigen Fleischstücke gelegt werden. Selbst der dazu gereichte Reis sieht aus und schmeckt wie aus dem Kochbeutel. Es gibt noch ein gerolltes (!) Mini Papadam dazu. 20,90 Euro ist dafür eine Ansage. Unterirdisch. Kantinenessen übelster Art. Das kann einem indisches Essen verleiden. Überteuert. Ein "Nizza-Salat" ( Nr. 2) - "mit Ei, Thunfisch, Gurken, Tomaten, roten Zwiebeln, Oliven" laut Karte legt nahe, dass es sich um etwas wie Salat Nicoise handelt. Weit gefehlt: Die in der Karte versprochenen Zutaten sind am Salat. Für einen Salat Nicoise fehlen natürlich wesentliche Zutaten wie Prinzessbohnen, Paprika, Kapern, Sardellenfilets. Auch Croutons (richtige, nicht aus der Tüte) sind oft an einem solchen Salat. Die Salatsoße schlägt dem Faß den Boden aus: Irgendeine Joghurt-Sahne-Fertigpampe mit Senf aufgewürzt. Das hat mit Salat Nicoise gar nichts mehr zu tun. 12,00 Euro ist für einen Salat zwar inzwischen normal, aber dieser Salat hat keinerlei Wert. Fazit: Außen hui, innen pfui. Ausschließlich convenience Zeug und sehr schlecht zubereitete internationale Gerichte. Nicht übernäßig teuer, aber für das, was man bekommt, definitiv zu teuer. Nie wieder.

Leuke ambiance. Het oude stationsgebouw is mooi verbouwd. Er is een aanbod van vele lekkere gerechten uit Duitsland/Europa en India. Prijs-kwaliteit is prima. Wij hebben gesmuld van onze gerechten. Supersnelle bediening. Hond is ook welkom. Gereserveerd via de website.

Delicious food and friendly/attentive staff.

Today I have to honestly say it was a complete disaster. Fries from yesterday, potatoes probably even older, yellow like the sun at sunrise, completely dried out inside. Fish tasted like water and mushrooms, completely without fish flavor (probably warmed in water). One schnitzel was ok, others smelled like broken meat. According to Ober, we should hand it in immediately and not at the end. We left 2/3 portions standing. No it does me or anything else to offer...shock By the way, drinks are, as always, non-carbonated Mini portions without a side salad for over 20 euros per piece. Unfortunately never again.

Great restaurant! Were there with eight people to celebrate our daughter's high school graduation. Seven different meals, desserts, soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and cocktails, everything was of great quality! In the end the bill wasn't nearly as high as expected. Lovely again!

Unfortunately, the food is overpriced and there isn't much on the plate! Service is friendly. Ambiance is nice. Again probably not...

For the current mushroom season, there were some dishes with chanterelles on the menu. I asked if the chanterelle soup was homemade or from a bag? They were assured that it was homemade from fresh chanterelles. The soup came and looked very gray - the taste was actually just reminiscent of mushrooms. I politely asked if they had made a mistake in the kitchen, as there was no sign of chanterelles. After asking in the kitchen, the waitress said that the chanterelles had become scarce and that the soup had apparently been made from 50% mushrooms. The soup was completely pureed and contained no noticeable traces of chanterelles or even mushrooms. There wasn't even a chanterelle included for decoration. According to my taste, it was a mushroom soup from the packet. When you puree yourself, you always end up with smaller chunks - they must have been powder. You can't actually sell something like that as chanterelle soup or you have to declare it clearly on the menu or ask the guest beforehand if you can stretch it or if they want something else. I wasn't even offered a drink on the house or offered a reasonable price. While paying, one of my friends made another comment about the soup, and they couldn't believe it either. Keller's reaction: "Next time it'll be better, and if it doesn't taste good again, the soup is on the house." It's not about whether it tasted good or not - it's about whether I get something different than what's on the menu. Then you have to say: "Unfortunately, mushrooms are out" and not just stretch the soup or serve something else in the hope that the customer won't notice. The rest of the food was OK to good, hence 3 stars. The service was also friendly, but complaints should be resolved straight away and not left for the next time. Because we won't be coming back any time soon and I would have saved myself the review. Mistakes can always happen - how you deal with them is what matters.

Every weekend breakfast buffet with a good selection from 9 a.m. (Drinks are charged separately). Lunch menu, evening menu selection. Nice service. The location is a converted train station with a high ceiling, bright thanks to the skylight. Lots of space - even in front of the building (traffic-calmed). Parking space on the reverse (attention - don't forget the parking disc!)

Varied menu with Indian accents and best burger in town!

The food is really good, whether Indian, burgers, tarte flambée... The prices are reasonable, the service is quick even when the house is full. What's worth reserving in the evening from 5 p.m. What's nice about the wide menu is that everyone can find something - so recommendations for groups and family celebrations! We really enjoy going there and often.

First of all, it should be possible to correct spelling or grammatical errors without any problem!! The ambience is great, as it has been for years. In my opinion, the service has become one star worse due to the current staff. For my dish I had seasonal salad with fried scampi. In my opinion, people are relying on their good names here. An excellently tasty salad made with tomatoes and cucumbers. Why ?? The salad was rounded off with 3 small scampi. In short, not “cheap”!!

We are always there in a larger group, everyone finds something suitable to eat and has never complained about the quality of the food. The service is always great too. A cozy indoor area and a large beer garden.

It's all ok. Sitting nicely, eating well, absolutely ok for the class. Still reasonably priced.

My cordon bleu with fried potatoes for 18 euros was just mediocre. Overall, I think the new card is quite expensive. Butter Chicken just under 16 euros. These are more like Frankfurt prices that the old train station here in Heusenstamm is starting with.

Food is good, recommended, but the price is a bit too high for me. The ambience reminds me of a good old Mitropa - it's rustic to eat here again. The service is very good. Very polite, everyone on the ball and attentive. All in all, I would give it 4.3 points because unfortunately there are only 4 or 5 stars overall... rounded off - but still highly recommended

Very quick, friendly staff. I ate tagliatelle with spinach and salmon. Unfortunately the 🍋 and pepper from the pepper mill were missing here, otherwise the food was delicious! I drank elderberry lemonade and mango lassi. Unfortunately it was too sweet for me. Next time I visit I will try Indian cuisine 😜 The other guests at the table were very happy with their food.

The service was very nice and helpful in choosing the food for our group. The location was nice at the table, but it feels like a canteen. The lamps on the ceiling are full of cobwebs and are therefore a bit unsightly, to put it nicely. The taste of the salads was more like 50/50. The Indian dishes were highly praised at the table. My schnitzel was more bad than good. Personally, I won't eat there again if I can because I personally didn't like or taste it.

Wir sind total begeistert. Dàs Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Essen war super lecker, und von guter Qualität. Da es indisches Essen ist ,sollte man vorher fragen, ob es scharf ist. Das steht leider nicht immer dabei. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Mit 9 Personen Geburtstagsessen dort eingenommen. Im alten Bahnhof hatten wir ein schönes Ambiente. Der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Allerdings bekam ich zunächst ein falsches Gericht, bis es dem Kellner auffiel und er mir das Bestellte brachte. Das Essen schmeckte allen gut.

Parkplätze sind ab 18 Uhr frei, vorher nur 2 Std (Parkautomat). Auswahl der Speisen ausreichend, jedoch keine Seniorenteller. Hatte nur Vorspeise (gegrilltes Gemüse mit Ziegenkäse), das war kalt. Warm wäre es mir lieber gewesen. Bei größeren Räumen und vielen Gästen recht laut. Hunde waren auch da, somit auch für Hundebesitzer geeignet.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant, freundliche Bedienung und ein sehr leckeres Essen (indische Küche probiert) .

Gemütliches Restaurant, in welchem man am Wochenende gut frühstücken kann. Allerdings ist der Service ziemlich unaufmerksam und Preis/Leistung in Sachen Angebot und Kosten klaffen m. E. etwas auseinander. Das nächste mal fahre ich lieber 10 Min länger und gehe in Frankfurt Frühstücken.
