Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service – man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Wer gutes italienisches Essen und einen schönen Abend genießen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Essen zu teuer und Pizza verbrannt, Regatoni viel wenig Inhalt für das Geld.

Wir waren absolut begeistert! 🤩 Das Essen war nicht nur super lecker, sondern auch richtig schön angerichtet, man merkt einfach die Liebe zum Detail. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und hat für eine richtig angenehme Atmosphäre gesorgt. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Genau so stellt man sich einen perfekten Restaurantbesuch vor! Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können das Restaurant zu 100 % weiterempfehlen.

Ich hatte einen rundum perfekten Aufenthalt im Ristorante Colosseo! Vom ersten Moment an fühlt man sich willkommen das Ambiente ist stilvoll, warm und lädt direkt zum Wohlfühlen ein. Der Service ist einfach herausragend: aufmerksam, freundlich und gleichzeitig angenehm unaufdringlich. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird und der Gast wirklich im Mittelpunkt steht. Das Essen war ein absolutes Highlight! Frisch, authentisch und mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Jede Speise war geschmacklich auf den Punkt man schmeckt die Qualität der Zutaten und die echte italienische Küche. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder und kann dieses Restaurant jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Das Essen war hervorragend: frisch, geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Besonders die italienischen Spezialitäten sind ein echtes Highlight. Auch der Service war top – freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder und kann das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Die Jacken werden einem abgenommen und an die Garderobe gehängt. Die Mitarbeiter lächeln immer und erfüllen einem jede Extrabestellung. Das Essen ist lecker und frisch. Die Getränke sind top. Das Ambiente ist toll. Kein Bahnhofsfeeling wie bei manchen anderen Restaurants, sondern gemütlich im Kerzenlicht. Und für uns das Highlight, dass der Chef so schön Hessisch spricht. 👍

Mit Abstand das schlechteste Restaurant, in dem ich je war und das will wirklich was heißen. Dieses Lokal als „italienisch“ zu bezeichnen, ist schon fast dreist. Italiener waren das ganz bestimmt nicht. Der Empfang war einfach nur unterirdisch. Kein Lächeln, kein „Hallo“, kein bisschen Gastfreundschaft man hatte eher das Gefühl, man stört einfach nur. So eine gleichgültige und unsympathische Art habe ich selten erlebt. Das Essen war dann die nächste Katastrophe. Die Pasta war geschmacklos und lieblos zubereitet. Die Bruschetta am Anfang war so versalzen, dass man sie kaum essen konnte und dann auch noch mit Zutaten, die da absolut nichts verloren haben. Jeder, der auch nur ein bisschen Ahnung von italienischer Küche hat, merkt sofort: Das hat mit original italienischem Essen rein gar nichts zu tun. Der „Wein“ war die Krönung. Schmeckte wie der billigste Supermarktwein, den man finden kann vermutlich für ein paar Euro eingekauft und dann hier völlig überteuert verkauft. Für solche Preise erwartet man wenigstens ein Minimum an Qualität, aber selbst das war hier zu viel verlangt. Fazit: Absolut nicht empfehlenswert. Wer wirklich italienisch essen möchte, sollte einen großen Bogen um diesen Laden machen. Hier passt einfach gar nichts.

Waren abends zum Geburtstagsessen dort. Tolle Ambiente und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Essen war sehr gut, Lachs war top und das Rumpsteak lecker. Gerne wieder.

Zum Abholen bestellt.. Leider total trockenes Fleisch (Schnitzel) und die Spaghetti waren fast ohne Soße. Seit Langem mal wieder einen Versuch gestartet, da beim letzten Mal die gleiche Katastrophe war. Colloseo ist jetzt komplett raus. Die Bedienung ist allerdings stets freundlich.

Leckeres Essen, gemütlichen Ambiente

Das Schweinefleisch war sehr trocken. Die Bratkartoffeln waren einfach nur große, halb gewürfelte Kartoffeln. Die Rahmsoße war wässrig und schmeckte eher nach Fertiggericht. Ich bin so enttäuscht, dass ich eine Bewertung schreiben musste. Das war rausgeschmissenes Geld. Nur der Lieferant hat es etwas erträglicher gemacht, weil er freundlich war. Sehr enttäuschend. Bratkartoffeln und Schnitzelgerichte auf eigenes Risiko bestellen!

Ordered for delivery. The schnitzel parmigiana was good and hot. Unfortunately, the delivered lasagna al forno was not right; it was drowned in tomato sauce and not even a little bit al forno. You can do better than that.

It's a shame we live too far away. Otherwise, Colloseo would be my favorite Italian restaurant! The ambiance, the food, the friendliness, the value for money...everything is perfect. This is the first Italian restaurant I've ever had that serves a delicious risotto. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

The food and service were excellent, as always, and definitely worth a visit. We even got a free grappa at the end.

We ordered food via Lieferando, and the food was absolutely terrible. A fly in a salad isn't very appetizing. First and last time!

Lieferando order: The schnitzel was undercooked, the fries were extremely soggy, and A FLY IN THE SALAD was not included in the order. Very disappointing and not recommended. Unfortunately, lunch was completely ruined.

Update: Ate there again today for a birthday. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this restaurant! I ordered asparagus with pike-perch fillet, and the presentation left a lot to be desired. The pike-perch fillet was under the overcooked asparagus, and the whole thing was covered in hollandaise sauce, so the fish was no longer visible. The fish was also overcooked. The flavor was completely bland. Overall, it was reminiscent of hospital food. The fillet my husband ordered was fried in burnt butter and tasted bitter. The dessert, which four of us would have happily eaten, was only available once (at lunchtime!). A year ago: We're actually always very satisfied there. However, a deep-fried schnitzel is simply not acceptable at a good restaurant like this! Either take it out of the pan or remove it from the menu. Otherwise, everything was excellent, and we were very satisfied.

Update May 2, 2025 We always enjoy coming to Colosseo Heusenstamm to eat. Today I was given the secret recipe for the salad dressing because I like it so much! For 3 aperitifs, 5 drinks, 1 starter, 3 main courses and 3 desserts we paid ~140€. Absolutely reasonable prices for very tasty dishes. There is something for everyone on the menu. October 6, 2024 The atmosphere is very pleasant, the waiters are up for a joke and the atmosphere is relaxed. The food tastes good and is not too expensive. We paid ~200€ for 6 people (5 starters, 6 main courses, 4 desserts and several drinks per person).

Very nice staff, salad, squid tubes very tasty. Parking spaces available. Gladly again.

Excellent food and first class service! I recently visited *Restaurant Colosseo* and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is very cozy and authentic, which immediately puts you in an Italian flair. The *food* was simply fantastic – the pasta was perfectly prepared and the pizza was a real treat. Fresh ingredients and the right taste make the culinary experience here really special. The service was also excellent. The staff was very friendly, attentive and really made us feel special. The selection of dishes is diverse and leaves nothing to be desired. I can highly recommend Colosseo Restaurant! A perfect place for a relaxed evening with excellent cuisine. I will definitely come back.

We were there on December 24th. A very relaxed, pleasant atmosphere with nice, attentive waiters. We had a greeting from the kitchen and then before and after. Main course from the Christmas menu. There were fresh porcini mushrooms and dishes with truffles. Everything tasted very tasty.

Wir sind öfter hier und bestellen auch oft. Die Pizzen sind recht ordentlich, manchmal leider nicht sehr kross. Die Pasta-Gerichte zeichnen sich durch fehlende Sachkenntnis aus (Carbonara sogar in zwei Versionen: deutsch und "original", bloß ist es das nicht, für aglio e olio werden grüne essigsaure griechische Pepperoni verwendet, auf Nachfrage heißt es, das sei unbedingt original und die Gäste wollen das so), dabei sollte man wissen, dass hier weder ein Italiener am Herd noch im Service tätig ist, original italienisch wird hier definitiv nicht gekocht. Die Portionen sind aber ordentlich und immer gut gewesen, auch die Fleischgerichte. Die letzten beiden Male hatte ich Tags darauf mit Magenkrämpfen zu kämpfen, mein Rumpsteak war zum wiederholten Mal verbrannt, weengleich der gewünschte Garpunkt stets getroffen wird. Die Pfifferling-Rahmsauce hätte durchaus wenigstens ein paar Pfifferlinge vertragen können, immerhin wurde mit frischen Pfifferlingen geworben und dafür wurde auch bezahlt. Die Pfifferlinge kamen aus der Dose, ganze 4 kleine platte Pilzchen. Mir scheint, als ob hier immer öfter instant gekocht bzw. eigentlich nur noch zubereitet wird. Das wäre schade. Man sitzt gut hier, es gibt ausreichend Plätze auch draußen mit gutem Abstand zum Nebentisch. Und es gibt auch weiterhin einen Schnaps aufs Haus, was es anderswo länst nicht mehr gibt. Aber bitte: der Gruß vom Haus (einfache Bruschetta mit Tomaten) sollte nicht in ekliger Supermarkt-Balsamico-Creme ertränkt werden, es gäbe raffiniertere Alternativen.

There were daily specials and a menu. Had the mixed starter plate. Everything was very fresh. The terrace behind the building is really nice in summer. Tastefully decorated and moderate prices. A delivery for a school class was promised and then canceled at very short notice due to a lack of lucrative value for the owner. Luckily, the competition in Heusenstamm stepped in so that the class party could be saved. Furthermore, orders that were ordered via Lieferando will not be delivered to the same extent and under the conditions. When asked, they only said that Lieferando had depicted it differently.

I was there yesterday, Tuesday evening, without a reservation! There were two of us and we quickly found a place for ourselves. Although the restaurant was incredibly full, my order was taken very quickly by the very friendly service. The drink came quickly and the pizzas we ordered didn't take long. When the pizza arrived I was greeted with a very large pizza with thin dough. Absolutely delicious! We can only recommend the place and the food. The service is always friendly despite the stress. My wife and I went to Colosseo for lunch on a Wednesday and our first time at this restaurant. It is very nicely decorated for our taste and as soon as we sat down and although the restaurant was busy, we were already handed the menu and asked what we would like to drink. We were also immediately offered free Prosecco. The menu contains a wide range of options as well as two different lunch menus (soup, main course and dessert) for every day of the week at reasonable prices. My wife chose menu two and I chose lasagna. We enjoyed both excellently. This also applies to the broccoli cream soup and the fruit salad with a ball of ice cream for dessert, which I also got one of, even though I hadn't ordered a menu. The espresso we ordered at the end was hot and strong. The waitresses were very polite and attentive. Also worth mentioning is the restaurant's upscale furnishings with starched tablecloths and cloth servers. And all this with a good price-performance ratio. It's a shame that we only discovered this place now. We will be visiting there more often from now on.

That was the worst thing we've experienced in a restaurant in a long time. Tablecloth dirty, 3 food didn't taste like anything. Pizza and pasta with seafood. Despite instructions, the staff didn't care. And despite all the Italian fuss, a good restaurateur would have come up with something here. They just didn't care. Thanks

Nachdem ich schon sehr oft hier zu Gast war, wird es mal Zeit für eine Bewertung. Das Essen ist immer hervorragend, ich wurde hier noch nie enttäuscht. Und vor allem das Mittagstisch-Angebot ist auch preislich sehr attraktiv, weshalb ich gerne mal meine Mittagspause hier verbringe. Wir haben uns auch schon mehrmals vom Colosseo beliefern lassen, meist durch Pasta, und waren auch dabei immer sehr zufrieden.

The food was ok. The schnitzel tasted ok, almost too salty, too thin and too small, the fries also very few, maybe 10 pieces. The pizza was just OK, the dough stuck to your teeth, it lacked a bit of taste, and again the portion was very small. Maybe children get full, but adults don't. There are other better pizza places in the area.

Wir waren das erste mal dort. Sind durch Zufall darauf gestoßen. Nettes Ambiente und aufmerksame Mitarbeiter. Essen war sehr lecker und die Portion ausreichend. Der Preis unschlagbar. 2 Personen, 2 Getränke, Nudel Alforno und Spaghetti Carbonara plus Nachtisch knappe 40 Euro. Wir kommen wieder und empfehlen weiter.

Wir waren schon oft im Colosseo zum Essen, immer super Essen, besonders die Tomatensuppe sehr lecker, Steak auf den Punkt gebraten. Der Service ist gut, die Bedienungen sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Preis/Leistung stimmt, Ambiente schön. Kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Waren zum Mittagessen dort. Supermenü. Eine leckere Tomatensuppe, großes auf den Punkt gebratenes Rumpsteak mit Beilagen und noch ein Nachtisch. Hat alles geschmeckt und das zu einem guten Preis. Bedienung sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Lokal ist sehr zu empfehlen. Habe dort auch schon Pizza gegessen, die Pizza Chef ist sehr zu empfehlen. Es empfiehlt sich zu reservieren, ist manchmal nichts frei.
