It has almost become a tradition to eat here. Just like in all of Cochem, a glass of wine is very expensive. The food is bourgeois but good, you can make it as expensive and crazy as you want. Many restaurants on the boulevard have approximately the same concept, but almost none have such a beautiful location and you should take that into account, especially if you can sit outside on the balustrade. Staff are friendly and provide information about the dishes if you ask. See you next year.

Never had such a bad schnitzel before, way too small but the quality was so poor, pre-cooked supermarket schnitzel, my girlfriend had a gourmand and also factory quality. Fries were tasty. We will never come here again.

Tourist trap! We were served quickly and the food came extremely quickly. The grape juice is some kind of artificial broth that has nothing to do with grape juice. The food was extremely bad, the sauces felt like they were made from packets and getting a small schnitzel for 20 euros is absurd. I would never get anything to eat there again.

Unfortunately, the restaurant disappointed my expectations. I had ordered a cordon bleu, which unfortunately turned out to be a finished product. The taste was therefore bland and artificial, and the breading seemed soggy instead of nice and crispy. For the price I was hoping for significantly more freshness and quality. However, I would like to positively highlight the friendly service, which was always attentive. However, the food does not live up to the ambience and other requirements of the restaurant. There is definitely room for improvement here.

The food was substandard. Long wait while there was hardly anyone in the shop. I ordered steak pepper cream sauce with curry and béarnaise mixed in it. Putting prices on the menu of a steakhouse restaurant, er... Never come back here again!

Eating is different! Expensive and run of the mill. We don't need that again. The view of the Moselle is beautiful, but the intrusive ones on the street are annoying Waiter. We felt sorry for the mostly young employees who stood for hours.

Had a very tasty meal 2 times in 1 week. Big map. Delicious steaks with tasty sauces. Even the potatoes taste delicious on their own. With a delicious, also unusually tasty, wheat beer. Cheerful service! Recommended!!!

Kneiter expensive for very little. Guy at the door almost pushes you in. Once upstairs, half of the guests find out that there is a storm and walk away again. We had 1 more beer, 0.4 liter for 6.80.

Pretty surprised by the reviews! Never seen 1.7 starts before! But we had a good experience there. The view was great, staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered schnitzel with mushroom sauce and we enjoyed it. I believe food and wine were overpriced that’s the only reason I gave 4 stars!

We were there today just to get drinks. We worry about spending every euro. Had iced tea twice and 2 liters of shandy. Iced tea was okay but the beer tasted like camel pee and smelled like it too. We left it there... 14 euros per measure is a disgrace with such quality

Totally agree with the other reviews. Nice view. But it's more of a snack bar. The food itself is reasonable. But nothing special, and that makes it way too expensive. They will sell you some cucumber for €5.90. Heavily overpriced, and then the drinks are €5.90 for a glass of soft drink. All in all, you pay 20% too much here. Same concept with the neighbors. In Cochem it is better to read reviews first. If someone is standing outside asking if you want to come over for dinner, you can assume that it is for a reason.

The food is terrible, schnitzel, fish, everything frozen. Super expensive for nothing. The boys were more or less trying. It is very loud on this street. The toilet is old, dilapidated, smells bad of urine.

Food is below average. Had ordered schnitzel and fries with tzatziki. Fries tasted like they were fried with old oil, schnitzel was overcooked, tzatziki tasted like mayonnaise instead of yoghurt. Service was good, friendly staff though. Definitely not recommended.

Unfortunately we also read the reviews too late, absolutely not recommended. I've never been annoyed about money I spent on a meal. The hot fat ran out of the mushrooms, the frozen schnitzels were dry with a blob of thick sauce. The main course is served no more than 3 minutes after the starter. I can't remember ever eating so badly.

The fries were not tasty, quite tough and the fish was more flaky than fish. You had to eat fries, because there used to be fried fries, but not anymore. When we go back to Cochem we will look for another restaurant.

We ordered classic schnitzel. Food was on the table shortly after ordering (before the drinks). And unfortunately that's exactly how it tasted. Everything ready, just warmed up briefly. Sauce was on par with the finished sauces from the bag. What should you expect when the store puts someone down on the sidewalk who encourages people to go in. I won't eat here again. However, service was friendly, good and attentive. The view is beautiful if you get a terrace seat.

A breathtaking view...and dishes to take away your appetite...Lying prices, dishonest service, regarding the atmosphere without comment. We had been warned that restaurants on the banks of the Moselle should be avoided, they are real tourist traps!! A shame!

The place is beautiful. If you can sit on the front line with a view of the river it is divine. The food is good but nothing exceptional and it is expensive. We ate pork Milanese with sauce and fries. The potatoes were very weak, the frozen ones. They took a long time. They have menus that only serve at lunch. The prices on the billboard out front are liars. They allow smoking which bothered me a lot.

Catastrophe!!! We were there today and regret every euro we left there. The exception was the drinks, I guess you can't go wrong with that. We ordered 4x Champion cream schnitzel (€17.90), the only FRESH thing on the plate was the parsley. The schnitzel was a mixture of rubber and partly hard as a bone, it was not a fresh schnitzel and probably more like frozen food. Unfortunately the taste of the sauce was borderline and the mushrooms were canned When we wanted to pay we were asked “Cash or with card”, “Cash everything together please” the answer was “then go downstairs” “okay woooooow!” When we wanted to leave the restaurant, we went to the toilet, but as quickly as we were inside, we were outside again, totally dirty, a smell that burned our noses and the floor was completely wet (we don't know exactly what it was) absurd, just dirty!

The tarte flambée and the non-alcoholic hefeweizen were very tasty.

In Cochem for only three nights and it was so disappointing to spoil one of them with this food. We only had a baked potato but it was way over priced for absolute rubbish. Couldn't finish it all and walked away hungry. Service was the only thing that was ok. I wish I had have read the reviews before we chose this one. I would avoid, there are better restaurants in Cochem.

So we just had a drink. That was enough too. Apparently there is only TK Schnitzel along the Moselle. So not recommended. Not to mention the prices. Drinks were already expensive enough. It's easier to settle down in one of the small streets. There are humane prices and definitely a better atmosphere!

A restaurant with a direct view of the Moselle in the middle of Cochem. The food was tasty and served quickly. The drinks were fresh and cool. The service was quick and attentive. Overall, a tourist restaurant geared towards a large turnover of customers.

Excellent schnitzel and schwein steak. Excellent price quality. Nicely dressed. Service very nice and spontaneous. Drinks at the price. Beautiful view over the Moselle. Food came to the table quickly. Here you can just eat a quick, simple meal. You won't be sitting here dining all evening.

Als die Rechnung kam, traf mich der Schlag: Für ein Radler 0,4 l = 7, 80 Euro, Das sind umgerechnet für einen halben Liter 9,75 Euro. Das man in einem Urlaubsort schon mal etwas mehr bezahlt - okay. Unfortunately we spontaneously decided to eat in the restaurant today. I didn't think about checking the recessions - my mistake. As most people write here, the schnitzel was a complete disaster. It is clearly a frozen product of poor quality that was then fried. At the edge it even looked like it had already been fried. We told the waiter that it didn't taste good. But this was responded to in the smallest possible way. The fries and potato wedges were ok. Also a frozen product but it’s ok too. By aioli I mean something different. It was more of a garlic curd.

The menu at the entrance said “15 different wines”… inside there was Aldi wine for 7.90 a glass!

I have the worst stomach in the world and can't understand the symptoms in any way. The shop is clean, the waiters are very hard-working and super polite - only the food is very simple, but serves its purpose.

What a terrible place, very unfriendly staff, pushy and drinks were abnormally expensive, the toilets were impassable, so filthy, absolutely crazy, if I had known this in advance I would have left immediately. steak was incredibly tough and the schnitzels were fat and crispy, just thrown into the fryer! Ordered a schnitzel with fried onion (because these are normally delicious in Germany), well then I expected a nice large schnitzel with freshly fried onion and not a small half schnitzel with dried onions from a jar, because I also have these at home and this is normal. not even on a schnitzel!! very bad tent, don't spend your money on this!! You get cheated in front of you and then you laugh... this is too sad. A huge disappointment!

We were hungry... our standards weren't high. Steak was tasty but had much better, the coleslaw from the can, very little Bernaise sauce, the potato wedges that tasted like old fat were carelessly thrown next to the steak. We were there on Thursday evening. We were really looking forward to schnitzel and were unfortunately totally disappointed. The schnitzel was fried and was swimming in fat. The mushroom sauce and the other sauces were definitely not fresh, but from a jar. Some of the fries were still raw. Unfortunately the night was spent in the bathroom. Such a disgrace for the price. Absolutely not recommended!!!
