Definitely stay away from this restaurant! The prices are absolutely outrageous. €7.90 for a terrible latte macchiato. The blaring, silly music didn't really help matters.

A lovely old restaurant with a wonderful view of the Moselle River. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Drinks are overpriced. But the restaurant itself is worth a visit.

The food was cold and not tasty, the portions were too small, and it was way too expensive for what you get. The staff was good, but could be a bit friendlier.

I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant. Charging €9.90 for 0.75 liters of tap water is already outrageous enough. But the condition of the parasol we were sitting under was truly disgusting: completely filthy, covered in mold and stains. It looked super cozy from the outside. The seating is comfortable, and the view is stunning. The food arrived quickly, and the service was friendly. It's fine for a quick bite, but a bit pricey for what you get. The wine was €9 and wasn't good. We were asked if we wanted water with it, and then we were charged an additional €5 per glass. The seating was comfortable, but I wouldn't go back.

Nice Restaurant aan de Musel. Friendly greeting and very helpfull. Wine was very overpriced and not very tasty. Garlic mushrooms half cooked. Left after that and glad i didnt order dinner. Just a tourist trap and next door is all one Restaurant. Pity really as its in a prime location. Owners clearly just want money over a good serice.

Spoto on ten out of ten. Staff really friendly, really helpful and service was excellant. Everything was how I liked it. Cost 90 euros for two of us but it was good value. No Guiness but they have it next door at the Irish bar. 100% recommended.

The sauerkraut was delicious and the best I’ve had anywhere. Onion rings ditto. Steak was beautiful. Ordering drinks; ordered a drink wanted to change for little kids from normal (0.4 to 0.2), apparently no 'delete'-button. Fried potatoes are raw. Steak; no question if the steak needs to be rare/medium/well-done. Every 'steak'-restaurant asks for this. Simple Schnitzel, no words. My shoes are even more tender than this. Stay away from this restaurant!!!!!

Visit did not meet expectations from the street. Mak "ok" (2 snitzel). Service decent. €9 for bottled water that you get 12 pieces for under €7-8 in the store is a crazy price. Ketchup and mayo were unpresentable for a restaurant when there are 2 large bottles on the table. The view is great from the 3rd floor and that was what decided the choice of restaurant. Should have read the reviews before the visit. It is not true that they only take cash, paid by card.

No, you're really getting ripped off here. A 0.75l mineral water costs €9.90. The schnitzels are cheap frozen, the fries are dry as a haywire, and complaints are ignored. Unfortunately, we fell for the mass-processing schnitzel mile in Chochem.

I'll keep it simple: it's a Scam. I read the reviews before and most of them were bad, but the restaurant was full of people, then I decided to find out for myself. 1. The prices from the outside menus don't match the actual menu once you enter. 2. The Flammkuchen was boring, overpriced and not filling. 3. The fish and chips were oka-ish for what you can expect. NOTE: The sizes from the meat portions are not so big, then they fill the rest of the plate with fries. You end up paying 25-38 euros for a not so trustworthy plate. I wouldn't recommend this place. The waiter was friendly and fast, but the food is not worth the price.

Simply ridiculous!!! The food is like you'd get from a swimming pool kiosk, all frozen food from a deep fryer. Please don't do that to yourself, we sent the food back and left the place immediately! Final tip: If you appreciate excellent food at a very reasonable price, you should head to the Kapellenhof in Klotten!

Delicious food in a lovely setting. First and foremost, don't let the negative reviews sway you. They're completely unfounded and seem to be coming from competitors. I didn't have to go to the cashier every time to pay, nor did the food taste like reheated frozen food. The servers were always quick and very friendly. This isn't our first time here, and we're still thrilled. The view, the ambiance, the food. Everything's just perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I checked the reviews only after leaving the restaurant and to be honest I was very surprised. I ordered a steak with herb butter and potatoes. The steak was more like grilled meat but it was still very good. Especially with the herb butter! The service was very nice, the employee standing outside and practically pushing us into the restaurant was disturbing. Apart from that everything was just OK.

We paid far too much money at this shop. Each ice cream cost over €3.50 and the shop had almost nothing on offer. Plus the salesperson was unfriendly and slightly drunk!! That's why I wouldn't recommend eating there. But at least the ready-made coffee was okay. That's why it's only given one star (just about).

1 schnitzel, 1 cordon bleu, 1 small beer, 1 glass of Riesling, 0.75 l water (by the glass for 9.50!). We were hungry, the food was terrible, frozen food in the deep fryer, and that's it, €64.50. Simply disgusting. This kind of thing should be banned. Especially since the public order office at the market square measures the centimeters of the chairs and issues fines. And the restaurants at the market square are fine.

Man, man, man, we normally always read the reviews first. If only we had. The food was simply inedible. The snitzel was lukewarm. It looked like it had been under a heat lamp for a while. Really nothing positive to report here. I even said to my wife "what can you possibly mess up with a snitzel". Not once was anyone asked if the food tasted good. Now I know why. It was another learning experience to first read the reviews before going inside.

Fast service, top location but cold, blackened pork loin steak, the black spots covered with herb curd and the potato wedges burnt your tongue.

We ordered schnitzels and they were absolutely not tasty. Ground meat with a crust that was certainly not breadcrumbs but some kind of smooth crust. Schnitzel was also not really warm. The schnitzels from the supermarket are even better. We join all the negative reviews. Do not eat here.

I can't recommend it under any circumstances. All I can say is, please move on. The service staff are super friendly, even if you can tell the poor guys haven't really been trained. The price-performance ratio isn't right at all. The quality of the food is simply terrible... the portion sizes vary for the same dishes. The schnitzels are oozing with fat and are wobbly. The sauces, both salad and schnitzel, are so watered down that they taste like nothing. It was simply abysmal; we could have just flushed the money down the toilet.

No salad or any vegetables. The food is on the table within 2 minutes so you leave after 20 minutes and are 56 euros poorer with 2 people. The waiter is very friendly. I will definitely not go back. We should have read the reviews first.

In short, one of the worst "restaurants" I've ever been to. Exorbitant prices for average takeaway food. The schnitzel was a convenience product, meaning it wasn't breaded or fried, but served with fries, which weren't even cooked properly. The roast was riddled with tendons and fat lumps and, instead of a spicy gravy, was served with some kind of yogurt dip. Poorly presented plates, lackluster staff, and a carafe of table water (0.7 L) that you can get for €10. Vastly overpriced and inedible, but unfortunately not an exception in Cochem!

The cucumber salad that is offered is €6 euros! Otherwise eaten fine, flammenkuchen was cold. The view was nice.

We were lured in from the street. It shouldn't have happened to us. But good. The food is not fundamentally bad. But it has “swimming pool quality”. The schnitzels seem to be ready-made, just like the fries. The cola tastes like cheap cola. Price-performance is simply not right here! Ambiance like on Malle. There is no recommendation from me.

Ik weet niet waarom de Nederlanders allemaal zo lopen te zeuren maar dit is gewoon een goede tent om even snel lekker wat te eten. Aardig personeel en snel je eten op je bord WARM. Niet KOUD. Mensen verdienen wat meer hier aangezien de reviews ontzettend slecht zijn heb ik samen met mijn vriend een overheerlijke kurry worst op met friet. Je kreeg zelfs een fles mayonaise bij je friet. Goede tent , zeker aan te raden.

Als je van onvriendelijk personeel en koude gerechten houdt dan moet je zeker hier een keer langsgaan! Bediening was kortaf en niet echt behulpzaam met uitleg aan een kind wat met ons mee was. Bier smaakte naar… afwasmiddel. Het eten was steenkoud en nadat we het teruggestuurd hadden kreeg de ene het warm en de ander het nog net niet eens lauw aangeboden met koude friet. Zeer slecht al met al en gaan er ook nooit meer terug, m’n maag moet het nog verwerken.. 🤢
