Oh man, the schnitzel was inedible. Frozen cardboard schnitzel, I couldn't eat it. The fries weren't the best either. Unfortunately, I can only agree with the bad reviews. Maybe they should make the schnitzel fresh and pound it themselves. The only positive thing is that the server was really nice.

Very friendly man! This week in Cochem ate at several places, this was the tastiest, that's why we ate twice! Good schnitzel! 1x the hunter's schnitzel the other time the Greek schnitzel! Very satisfied! Also not that expensive. If we come back to Cochem we will definitely eat here again!

I don't even know where to begin! Absolutely the worst "restaurant" I've ever been to! Tables dirty...my husband's shirt was all over it. The food!? Was absolutely awful. Greasy, from the deep fryer. We wondered why it came so quickly. The schnitzel with sauce was simply disgusting. The currywurst too. The beer was completely stale. Mayo and ketchup are served in a tube. The prices are way too expensive! The whole place is filthy, including the restrooms! They take away your almost empty plate while you're eating. The public order office and the food safety authorities should definitely come and say hello! As I was leaving, I could see that the pre-fried schnitzels were lying behind the counter. Everything was absolutely dirty!!! Never again!!!!

The "restaurant" has a very good location. We sat in the upper part with a direct view of the Moselle. The wait for our food wasn't long. That was our initial positive impression. Don't be fooled by the somewhat lower prices, which are exaggerated by the overpriced drinks (a 0.2-liter glass of cheap mineral water for €3.99). When I left the restaurant I checked again and it said €10.99 on the menu in front of the restaurant. So 16 € for a tarte flambée (!) and different cards in front of the restaurant with the small print "from*" to the actual menu in the restaurant, I don't think that's the best way.

In this restaurant there is the option of sitting both upstairs and downstairs. I chose a place on the ground floor and unfortunately had to wait 40 minutes for someone to come to me. When a member of staff finally came to me, it only took 5 minutes for my food to be served. Unfortunately I discovered that it was a frozen schnitzel. When I finally went to pay and still didn't see anyone after 50 minutes, I decided to leave without paying. I had never had such an experience before. It's a shame it turned out this way.

Disappointing experience – unfriendly staff and poor service We had dinner here with a group of 6, but it didn't feel welcome from the start. The six of us were crammed into a place that was far too small: three people on a double sofa. When we politely asked if we could sit somewhere else (while there were plenty of empty tables), we were bluntly refused. Wir hatten 2 mal Flammkuchen bestellt. Dieser war nach 5 Minuten bereits am Tisch. Vergebens die Shirmps gesucht. Beide Flammkuchen waren kalt. Darauf angesprochen bekamen wir zur Antwort.. wir bekommen die bereits fertig geliefert. Kritik konnte der Kellner nicht vertragen und äußerte sich mit den Worten: und tschüss. Dieser laden ist nicht zu empfehlen!!!!Überteuert. 10€ 2 Gläser Cola

Very pricey store, choice of Senior Schnitzel, medium and XL. The medium schnitzel is half of a regular schnitzel 🥲. My wife asked for spring water and was given tap water for which 5 euros had to be paid. Tourist rip-off! If there are entertainers standing in front of the door to funnel unsuspecting tourists into the store...then everyone's alarm bells should go off. The price tags in front of the door promise many dishes at great prices... that drinks are incredibly more expensive here and the portions are small... no one here suspects that. Look out for these signs in Cochem... you'll often find them on the promenade and elsewhere... keep going!!!

Das Essen war die reinste Katastrophe, wir haben ein Champignon Rahmschnitzel gegessen, 3 von 4 Personen mussten nach ein paar Stunden brechen. Dann werden die Leute mit den Preisen am Eingang so richtig verarscht. Wir haben noch nie so schlecht gegessen. Getränke waren auch ůberteuert. Den Laden kann man in keinsterweise weiterempfehlen.

Leider war es ein Reinfall. Das Schnitzel hat nicht nach Schnitzel geschmeckt und war sowas von dünn. Die Salatsoße vom Gurkensalat hatte Null Geschmack - wässerig. Die Getränke überteuert! Positiv zu erwähnen ist der Service und die Pommes!

So per person. It were a few fries...uh...how little would a smaller portion be?? Everything wasn't exactly warm. And the sausage tasted, well... water 4.99 and cola also 4.99. I know, we're not exactly gourmets and love good home cooking. How would schnitzel have tasted? Eenvoudig, geen haute cuisine, snelle hap. Schnitsel goed gebakken en opgediend, Jagersaus was niet vers gemaakt en niet lang genoeg opgewarmd (heel lauw). Opgelet .... een gewone cola of limonade 0.2L zoals in Belgie is al heel duur en bedienen ze niet graag, ze verkopen liever een glas 0.4L aan 7 eur per glas. Het beste aan gans de beleving is het uitzicht als je op balkon aan waterkant kunt zitten.

The Flammkuchen we ordered were dry and could have been much better. The terrace offers a beautiful view over the Moselle, but the major drawback is that smoking is allowed on the terrace. As a result, all chain smokers sit on the terrace. Very disturbing for non-smokers. The drinks are ridiculously expensive. You pay €4.50 for a glass of still water and €8 for a glass of tonic. I would never recommend this restaurant.
