Det här är en ren turistfälla. Ligger bra till och utnyttjar det maximalt! Över 300 kr (25 euro) för två korvar och två öl. Fick be om senap till korven och då kom servitören med en burk. Ingen finess alls - och dyrt! Mycket dyrare än genomsnittet.

I agree with others when they say it is expensive. On the one hand for the portions served and especially for the drinks (glass of Cola almost €6). However, you can see it when you order and if you don't want it you should just leave instead of staying and then complaining. The food tastes very good, the place is nice, the waitresses are sometimes a bit forgetful, but that's not a bad thing because they are friendly. I would recommend it to others if they realize that it is expensive. Some people may need 2 portions to really fill them up when they are hungry.

This is a rip off. For a glass of water 0.2 you have to pay 4.70. Radler 7.90, and a glass of wine 9 euros. Food is relatively OK.

A typical Kober store that in the end is just a trap. Anyone who goes here has missed everything good in Cochem and it's their own fault! The drinks are overpriced and don't even taste good. I don't think service matters. The food is... well you can believe the 2.6 stars. I actually find the location itself attractive and detailed, but still: go somewhere else, there are so many better things in Cochem!

Unfortunately I have to say, we have never had such a bad meal. We're really not demanding, but the food didn't work at all in our opinion. The prices for the food are overpriced. No homemade sauces, the schnitzel felt like it was only made in the fryer, no side dishes, not even a lettuce leaf (you would have had to pay extra). In short, hunger drives it in and the Eckel down. Unfortunately you can't say anything more about the food. The atmosphere is cozy.

I ordered 1l white wine spritzer. 24 euros were charged for this, exactly the same as for 1 liter of white wine, which is disproportionately cheeky

Cordon bleu was very small, just like the schnitzel (if you can even call it schnitzel), fries are limp and inedible and the tables are very close together. Personally, I would definitely not recommend this restaurant. We won't be coming back here again.

The outside was great and the rest was poor. The food was just bad. My wife had a schnitzel with fries. Served carelessly in an iron pan. I had a tarte flambée that was practically cold. At home I make the frozen products better. The prices for a 0.4 Radler were outrageous, almost 8 Eufo. I would avoid the store.

Better go somewhere else. Here you simply try to earn as much money as possible from tourists as quickly as possible. Food not really tasty and small portions. But quite expensive.

A nicely decorated restaurant with cheerful staff. The food is acceptable but not special. You don't have to stay away from it. The drinks are extremely expensive.

The ambience is nice but smells strong. Food came within 2 minutes of ordering so the product was ready. We ordered a Cola Zero, which was definitely not carbonated, so we returned it. Then the waitress came and argued unnecessarily! No cutlery was given, let alone salt and pepper, which we kindly got from the neighboring table. Even mayo and ketchup from good and cheap...

I recently visited this restaurant and was very impressed with the beautiful terrace. It is a lovely place to sit, especially on sunny days. The terrace offers a nice ambiance with comfortable seating and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff really deserves kudos. They are not only friendly and attentive, but also make an extra effort to speak Dutch. This makes ordering a lot easier and shows their commitment to good service. It felt very welcoming and personal. The menu is diverse and offers something for everyone. There is a wide choice of dishes, all at a great price. The quality of the food was excellent. My meal was served in a reasonable amount of time and was delicious. I really enjoyed it and the portions were ample. However, one downside I found was the price of the drinks. These were extremely expensive, which I found quite bizarre. It's a shame that the high drink prices bring the overall experience down a bit. Another positive aspect is the cleanliness of the facilities. The toilets were very clean and well maintained, which added to the comfort during the visit. All in all I had a very positive experience at this restaurant. The beautiful terrace, the friendly staff who try to speak Dutch, the good quality of the food and the clean toilets make it definitely worth a visit. Only the high drink prices are a point of improvement.

Sitting on the upper terrace you can watch the goings-on in the old town without being influenced by traffic. The service is attentive and friendly and the food is good, the wines excellent and definitely worth a visit!

The food was just okay, the tarte flambées from the frozen food shelf didn't necessarily taste any worse. Unfortunately, the tables upstairs are far too small and everything is quite expensive. But the drink prices are really high and significantly cheaper in other restaurants in the area! Felt a bit like a tourist rip-off.

As a local guide, I have to say that I am more than disappointed. From the outside the restaurant looks very authentic and promising. But appearances are deceiving... Turi at its best. I can't give anyone my personal recommendation to go here. The food is not tasty, both in terms of taste and quality… Very disappointing for an authentic second location restaurant. The service was young, inexperienced and slow. Not again!

We were in the store shortly after 11 a.m. on July 21, 2024 and wanted two large wine spritzers. The waiter left for a moment and then made it clear to us in a somewhat "unfriendly" way that there would only be plain wine. I have never met such an inflexible shop on the Moselle. We can only confirm the poor service from the other recessions.

Nice restaurant, centrally located, normal prices

It's the first time we've been called very vulgar epithets in a restaurant anyway! That says it all about service. If you only order drinks, you will be screwed! Do not visit this place!

My goodness, this place is obviously systematically panned by real whiners. I and my three-person entourage could not understand any of this. We were all served courteously and the food, which was very different from ours, was of a quality in terms of quantity and taste that was commensurate with the price. We'll come back any time.

Didn't get what we ordered, the waiter tried to take money for what they had forgotten. Incidentally, he called us motherfu..., however he admitted that it was their mistake, but thought it was us as customers who should draw attention to the mistake, therefore he wanted us to pay, so it didn't happen.. Really bad service. Do not advise to go there !!!

It starts with being spoken to penetratingly on the street, as is (unfortunately) common in many holiday resorts. You will no longer have to sit with your back to the television if you want to watch a European Championship game and have explicitly mentioned this. The staff didn't seem to care who came and went and especially the reasons for the latter.

Overpriced prices for food from the frozen section (I had a schnitzel) and sauces from the ready-made bag (here hunter sauce)! The taste was a disaster! A Jägerschnitzel with fries for just under 30 euros - an absolute disgrace! A side salad, which is usually included with such dishes, cost just under 6 euros extra! A 0.5 liter Cola Zero for just under 8 euros - an absolute outrage! I'm happy to spend money on good food, but this isn't possible! Toilet theme - small animals (beetles/ants) on the folding changing table for babies! The music on the terrace was way too loud! This shop has absolutely nothing to do with an old wine bar! It's a shame for this place, Cochem, which is completely overrun with tourists... So I absolutely cannot recommend this store! 0 stars! Please don't fall for it!

The drinks are outrageously expensive! €9.90 for an Aperol spritz?! 4.90€ for 0.2 cola??!!! The food tasted like it came from the deep fryer at home and the schnitzel tasted like it came from the frozen food. Food carelessly prepared. Waiters were nice.

Wir waren da um das Deutschland Spiel zu sehen. Die Bedienung hatte es nicht so genau mit der Freundlichkeit. Mit mehreren Gästen lauthals gestritten. Zum guten Schluß noch andere Preise als in der Karte abgerechnet. Das Essen war in Ordnung, die Stimmung bei dem Spiel ausgelassen. Uns wird das Lokal niemals wiedersehen.

***DANGER*** Unfortunately, we also fell for the worst and most expensive 'restaurant' in Cochem! Just under €8 for a wheat beer…. The food was 'served' from the deep fryer to a cold pan in five minutes. Everything fresh from the freezer. Bone dry fries. Simply an impudence and not good advertising for Cochem. I don't want to write about the toilets and cleanliness... I really hope that the tourists in this city who are able to pay read the recessions beforehand and don't fall for it like we did. In any case, it was a lesson for us to check every restaurant first!! No matter how hungry you are.

The food was nothing special. Staff were friendly. They also charge top price for a bowl of cucumber, just like the drink. The coffee was really bad. We didn't drink this either. Did they do something about the price??? Other people drink it too and otherwise I would have to put more milk in it... I drink black. Coffee the way coffee was meant to be. This was ditch water. Shame. You can get a lot more out of such a nice spot. Walk on to the river. Better view and better food.

The absolute tourist booth with drink prices beyond good and evil. We actually wanted to go for a bite to eat and ended up here because of the atmosphere. After looking at the drinks prices (Aperol almost 10 euros and beer and water completely overpriced) we drank something because we were thirsty, but we would have liked to get up and leave again. This is a gastro chain with several restaurants that only target tourists and probably stay afloat due to ignorance. We weren't the only ones amazed at the prices; they were discussed at almost every table. You have to take it with humor so as not to let it spoil your mood.

I can't recommend the food or the surroundings. The starter was forgotten and came when asked. The waiting time for the pork knuckle was longer than stated +45 minutes. It was ok but we won't come a second time.

The food and wine were very good and highly recommended.

The place looks good from the outside. Since it is one of the few restaurants that is open late, we ended up there. The Moselle wine was terrible. The price for a bottle of water at 9.90 euros is an absolute outrage. I have never drunk such expensive water. This is not a normal price even in upscale restaurants.

Very nice atmosphere, nice staff and the food was good and fresh. The prices there were also okay and not too expensive. The only point of criticism and therefore only 4 stars: We were asked which salad we would like to have with the schnitzel and were not told that it would cost extra. It sounded like it was included in the meal. When the bill came, we noticed that the salad had been charged an extra €5. And the cucumber salad was really a bit of a shameful joke for the price; a small bowl of soft, limp cucumber in a little yogurt dressing - definitely not a fresh salad.

Das Essen besteht nur aus Fertigprodukten. Fertiges Schnitzel aus der Fritteuse, Soße aus dem Tütchen und Röstzwiebeln aus der Packung. Einfach unglaublich für den Preis. Das Essen hätte jeder für ein paar Euro Zuhause besser hinbekommen. Einfach unglaublich enttäuschend.

Unfortunately, there isn't much pleasantries to say about this place, even though it looks impressive from the outside. Service was alright to 'meh' at Alte Wein Wirtschaft, but food and drinks were pricey and nothing to brag about. Their cocktails were not worth paying for, as they were mild in alcohol and mixture wasn't great. Food was on the higher price range and were not all that impressive. It was pretty standard and when you ask for sauces, mayo, tomato sauce etc. You'd be given the whole bottle like you would grab from the fridge at home, or getting sauces from a diner with a hotdog or pommes. For the exorbitant prices you'd be paying for at this restaurant, you pretty much get diner standard food. And the high cost you pay would only be for the "outdoor/ multi-level sitting". Although this restaurant has at least four different levels to choose from, the tables and chairs are crampped together and close to one another. Leaving little privacy and personal space between your table and the next. The tables themselves are unfortunately also very small, so when food and drinks arrive, you'd lack any space even for your hands to rest on. Sadly, I cannot recommend this place and it would not be a place we'd be returning to.

Had a delicious meal at this restaurant in the center of Cochem. Nice service and nice location.

The mushroom sauce was a disgrace. Pure wallpaper paste with no taste. I have never experienced such poor craftsmanship from a professional colleague. The reaction to the complaint was very bad. Nothing was done. According to the motto: "They're just tourists and they won't come back anyway."

Ripping off tourists: bottle of water 0.75 is 10 euros. We saw the supposed winemaker's wine we drank there for €19 a bottle in the local Edeka for €3.99 (and that's how it tasted - cheap and watery) . Only the ambience was appealing.
